She's still here... Rusty eyed Kira for a moment. Then he turned back to the guy he'd been talking to. The man was babbling on about football and his wife's cooking. The wolf pretended to be interested though he really just wanted to go running. After a few more minutes, the guy glanced at his watch. He turned to the busty woman, who was conversing with a few younger women. "Hey Mary! It's almost 11! Let's get this wrapped up!" She nodded sullenly.
After about twenty minutes, the area was cleaned and Rusty was headed back home with a bunch of leftover food. Not that he minded, with his appetite about to grow tenfold. He'd lost track of Kira, but figured she'd just gone home.
He put away the food and changed into a pair of shorts and a sleeveless shirt. He walked out the front door and waited for everyone to disappear before he locked the door and started jogging. He wasn't too sure about the layout of the town so he just followed the streets. After a while, he ended up at the small park, where he stopped for a minute to catch his breath.

The second people began to clean up and say their goodbyes, Kira tossed her beer and pulled up her hood, slipping away from the group. No one would ever notice. They never did. Great escapes were her greatest skill. She made her way back to the park and walked around for a few minutes before spotting a twenty-something year old runner. The other female appeared to be in really good shape, but she still wouldn't be able to stop Kira. She took a seat on a nearby bench, waiting for the girl to pass by before making her move.
First she knocked the girl out and dragged her into the darkness of the trees. This time there would be no death. Kira didn't need that much. After healing the girl's neck and cleaning off her face, Kira emerged from the trees with her hood on and hair down. Only two steps into her exit, she ran straight into the wolf boy. She didn't need to look up to know it was him. She could smell him, feel him. "Hello." Kira sighed smoothly, in a much better mood after having just eaten. She took a step back from the man, but still didn't look up at him because she was unsure if she managed to remove all the blood from her lips.

Rusty had been stretching, enjoying the cool night air when he heard a rustle in some trees near him. He assumed it was some kind of animal until the scent of Kira hit his nose. He turned just in time to feel her presence hit him like a car. She nearly ran into him. He looked down at her, his eyes glowing amber. She avoided looking up at him. "Hi. Out for a stroll? Or a snack?" He glanced over at the trees. He noted that she seemed to be in a better mood than the party. "So I guess you escaped our lovely neighbors." He chuckled and tilted his head down slightly.

Kira grinned at Rusty's question. Of course the one time she finally found someone AB- would be the night she'd run into the wolf. She was too blood drunk to be very good at anything. Any time she found someone with the same blood type she had as a human, she was loopy for days. She looked up at Rusty, her normally blue eyes grey, borderline silver. "Not a difficult task if they're distracted." She said, still grinning. Kira paused to lick her lips, trying to make sure they were clean. "Everyone was too fascinated by the dog to notice me slip out. I'm surprised you were able to leave. Figured you'd be someone's pet by now." Kira chuck;ed and turned to walk away, her legs were a little shaky and she was having some trouble walking straight but she'd make it home eventually.

Rusty growled quietly, grabbing her arm to keep her from walking away. He spun her back, revealing his fangs. "Let's get this straight now. I'm no pet." He stared at her. Then he noticed the difference in her eye color. He tilted his head slightly, examining her. She was shaking under his hand and she was unusually giddy. He shook his head. "You're drunk, aren't you?" His nose flared slightly as he sniffed the blood in the air.

Kira gasped quietly as she came face to face with the wolf again. He looked pissed, and normally she would have gotten serious but this time she just laughed. "I have to disagree with you there. If it looks, smells, and sounds like a dog then it must be a dog. What are dogs? Pets" She grinned again, not even thinking about the fact that her words could have put her in a huge amount of trouble, but still a bit disturbed by the fact that she thought the wolf was attractive when he was angry. That frustration managed to sober her up just a bit. "And you're apparently an idiot. Vampires can't get drunk. Good try though Sherlock." Kira tried to pull her arm back so she could leave, but she couldn't manage to put all her strength into it and was stuck in the man's grasp. She frowned, but stopped pulling away.

Rusty growled again, his grip tightening. "You should know better than to compare a wolf to a dog. We're much more aggressive." He pulled her closer to him and grabbed her other hand to keep her from striking him. Her skin was ice cold compared to his naturally warm body temperature. He glared down at her as she tried to pull away. "I'm no idiot. I know your kind can get drunk off of the right type of blood. Or did you just not know that about yourself?" He didn't bother to hide the agitation in his face, mostly because he was focused on hiding the fact that he found her attractive.

Kira shivered when Rusty growled and pulled her closer. The warmth of his skin and the bit he was radiating seemed to spread across her body. Her face became blank of all emotion, but her silver eyes still glistened. She was trying to focus on Rusty's putrid smell, the fact that he was a natural enemy, he would kill her in a second. She couldn't seem to think straight though and she was ready to be far away from him. Well, either that or even closer. "I don't see a difference. Now let me go. I'm done here." She did a fantastic job at keeping everything but disgust out of her tone, but she couldn't keep her body from shaking under his grasp.

Rusty thought about ripping her apart. Since the full moon was getting closer, his bloodlust was growing. But the last thing he needed was to move again. And killing her would definitely start trouble. He stared at her. Her face was blank, but her eyes were still shimmering. The wolf sighed and looked down for a moment. "Can you even make it home, Kira?" He looked at her, releasing her arms to see if she could stand on her own. Why he actually cared, he'd never understand. He didn't want to just leave her to fend for herself if she wasn't able to, despite what she was.

Kira took a step back, it was shaky and slow, but at least she didn't fall over. At Rusty's question, she shrugged and stepped back again. "I don't really know. Guess we'll find out tomorrow if I made it home." She grinned again and took a couple more steps backward, her strength grew and shaking shrunk with each step. "I'll see ya when I see ya. Have a good night...Rusty." Kira winked before turning and walking away, pulling her hood down a bit more in the front so it covered her eyes better. Shimmering silver eyes were a dead giveaway in the dark. She yawned and began walking home, ready for a wonderful night's sleep in her industrial freezer.

Rusty shook his head and rolled his eyes as she stepped away. He watched as she got less shaky. Then she turned back and winked at him before walking away. Rusty raised a brow at her disappearing figure. He chuckled to himself and turned around. He started running back, retracing the path he'd taken to get to the park.
When he finally got home, he immediately got in the shower. He felt like he need to wash off Kira's scent. It was still in his nose. He stood under the hot water, going over the encounter in his head. She was a natural enemy to him. It needed to stay that way. Once out of the shower, he sprawled out on the bed. It wasn't long until he was out.
The next day, Rusty didn't wake until the afternoon. At that point, he still didn't want to get out of bed. And he wouldn't have if it weren't for a sudden surge of pain in his gut. He shot up and over, his arm across his stomach. Damn it... He was frozen for a moment. The pain subsided after a moment, and he moved to the kitchen. He pulled out a couple of the leftovers from the party and heated them up. He'd devoured all of it after about twenty minutes. Unfortunately, his appetite was still there. Rusty groaned to himself and opened the fridge again. He grabbed one of the packs of steaks. There were two. He cut open the plastic and picked one up. His stomach growled and he sighed. "And so it starts.." He bit off a chunk of the steak and chewed. Once done with the first, he grabbed the second and walked into another room. He looked out the front window, watching the people in the neighborhood. After he'd satiated his appetite with the steaks, he sat down and turned on the tv, spreading out on the couch and returning to his lazy activities.

Kira undressed and climbed into her self made freezer bed. Before she had it built she never slept well. Always too warm even if she kept the house cold. Now she slept like a baby every night. If only she would have been able to follow her natural sleep cycle and do it during the day.
The next morning, Kira woke with a sigh. Day three, time to confront the wolf. She threw on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt before throwing on some sneakers. She made sure the whole house was ready then went to the park for a morning snack. By the time everything was done it was late afternoon.Surely the beast would be awake. She decided to sneak into his backyard again, not wanting other neighbors to notice her presence at his home. She followed the same routine as last time, but this time she walked to the edge of his patio. Surely he'd pick up on her scent. Tonight he would be at his strongest so his senses would be even more heightened than normal. She sighed and crossed her arms, hating the inescapable heat.

Rusty's body temperature had been steadily increasing. It made the whole house hot. He'd spent the entire afternoon on the couch, pulling off articles of clothing until he was in just a pair of shorts. He was going to be ready if he had a transformation. The last time he wasn't, and he ruined some of his more decent clothes. After a while of sitting, he started to move around. His energy level was growing and he needed to burn it off before he went out and did something stupid.
As the sky got darker, he recognized Kira's scent coming from his yard. He let out an aggravated sigh and switched off the TV. He moved to the back door, his eyes checking for any sign of movement. His nose burned from her smell and he had to force himself to open the door. She was standing at the edge of the porch. "Has it already been three days?" He smirked, trying to hide the internal conflict he was going through. His teeth were steadily changing to form fangs. He could feel the muscles and tissues around his ribcage shifting, getting ready for his ribs to move. Great.. Why did she have to pick tonight..? He stared at her with bright amber eyes, trying not to betray his inner turmoil.

Kira wasn't shocked by the fact that Rusty looked like he was a mess. Most did before a transformation. However, even as a sack of flesh just waiting to wolf out she found herself drawn to him. She rolled her eyes at his question. So impatient. "Yes, but that's not why I'm here." It's not? When did that change? That wasn't what she'd meant to say at all. Kira had no idea why she'd said that or what she should follow with. She had come with the purpose of making him leave or to die trying. She took a deep breath and tried to clear her thoughts. "We both know you're about to turn into one big, ugly piece of animal. I don't want you around my people like that. They don't know anything. If they heard something, or stopped by to say hello we'd have a mess on our hands. You wouldn't just be putting your home in danger. There's a wooded area two miles east of here. You can change there." Kira crossed her arms in front of her chest before dropping her head and frowning, glad that her expression would be covered by her hood. Not the plan at all Kira. What are you doing? She must have been going crazy. Though, what she had said was true. She definitely didn't want him wolfing out in her neighborhood, and from the looks of it he was getting pretty close to wolfing it. Would he even be able to get there before then? She could take him...but that meant being stuck in the woods with a werewolf more than likely hunting her. She'd have to just run around all night because she couldn't lead him back to the town. She'd be live bait. Wonderful... "Can you get there unassisted?" She asked, lifting her head and looking up at the 'man'.

Rusty tilted his head when she didn't try to rip it off. "So, you aren't here to evict me?" He offered a cocky smile and stepped closer. When she mentioned the woods, he paused. So she's going to help me...? He almost considered a trap. Perhaps she had fellow vampires among the trees, waiting for him. They'd just have to wait until Rusty was vulnerable, then strike. His eyes darted around for a moment. He could feel it coming. "If it is a trap.. I'll just have to survive He nodded. "As much as I hate to say it, you're right. I think I can make it there."
Without another word, he crouched down and turned. Then he pushed off, leaping over the fence and onto the roof of the house next door. He moved from house to house, running on all fours. As he ran, his fingers started contorting into clawed digits. His skin started darkening, his face stretching. He stopped only a few yards away from the treeline. He stood, clawing at his face and screaming as his skull cracked and grow, elongating into a muzzle. He dropped to his knees, claws raking the dirt. Thick black fur coated his skin. He looked up and made one final leap into the trees.
The landing was rough. He took out a few shrubs and saplings. Rusty writhed around, his body still changing. There was a gap in the canopy above, just enough for his eyes to focus on the moon. His heart pumped blood through his system quickly, feeding the swelling muscles and shifting tissues. His shouts turned to roars and snarls. He rolled around, clawing at the earth. Then suddenly he stopped. It was done.
His ears twitched as he listened to the creatures trying to escape his presence. His nose sifted through the scents of rodents and bugs. Through the smells of foxes and deer. But no vampires. He stood slowly, looking around and searching for movement. A shadow out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. He launched himself at the creature; a buck that had been patrolling the forest. The animal screamed for a split second before Rusty's jaws crushed its neck. He made a meal of the animal.
