Ruelash shuddered as the Bahju's skull was shattered and it's life was ended. He could have written it off to reverberations from the Bahju's body, but it wasn't just that. The power of that blow, the strength with which she wielded her hammer, he was in awe. He let go of it, wiping his forehead, not realizing he was smearing blood across his face- his attention was on the now dead animal.
"Yeh. Just fine." he managed to drag his attention away from the dead Bahju to smile at Keilana. It was not a comforting smile, but it was short of a murderous one which meant it was a real smile by Ruelash's terms. "Nice hit."
He turned back to the Bahju, retrieving his makeshift knife and roughly wiping it off. "Now ya won't go back empty handed." See? He'd helped. He'd been nice and led her to a good kill.
That had been fun. Even though he hadn't been the one to deal the killing blow. He'd had fun. He stood up. He'd have a few bruises, maybe a scrape or two he'd have to deal with, but nothing he hadn't had before.
"Need any help gettin' it back to the village?" he asked. He bet not. She was pretty strong, after all.

Keilana flinched slightly at the sight of Ruelash's face, the fact he smeared more blood on his face wasn't his fault but jeeze it was creepy, the smile wasn't helping add to the image.
"Yeah..thanks." Was her reply as she was forced to look away from her guide and move to crouch. Using the snow to wash the blood off her hammer head. She was trying to distract herself from the disquiet feeling she was getting from that smile of his. When he spoke she almost didn't catch what he had said.
"eh...? Oh..yes. ah now I won't be empty handed will i?" the leaf girl managed with a small smile. The only thing buggering her was that her knives weren't going to be strong enough to cut the head off..and thus she would be forced to look at what was left of the mess. Cringing slightly at the sight she roughly pushed aside the repulsion and taking out a small coil of rope began to tie it around the legs.
"Don't you want any of the kill? After all you helped."

"You'r kill. Sure, I'll take anything ya don't want." If he knew how disturbing he looked, he might have toned it down. Might.
Or he might have toned it up. He did like making an impression after all, and that was the sort of impression he liked to make.
Wait, did she want help carrying, or not? If she wanted it, sure. Then he could pretend that he had killed it too. And he kind of had.
He held the legs as she tied it.
"I'll take the front end, so I can get ya back" because they had to see this. The village had to see what he had done.
Okay, so he was taking some credit for this.
He had to brag about something other than killing Chuka with snowballs.

Keilana wasn't the type to be unfair, she would make sure that Ruelash would get half of the kill as it was with his help that they were able to bring the beast down. "We will share it, after all you are my guide." She offered with a smile as they positioned themselves around the carcass.
"My brother will be pleased, it is hard to get meat like this in our home. Its always smaller game where we come from. Should be able to smoke some of it as well for the journey back." It made her sound rather cheerful, she got to show off her skills and make an impression on someone from the ice tribe.
"Let's get going."
