"Jealous it is," he smirked and then he was tugged along. He was a good little boil following his ghoulfriend about wherever she wanted to go. He enjoyed shopping a little bit himself but it was probably nothing on the level of Freya.

As she veered him toward the temporary shops he tilted his head a bit, "Hmm? Getting a little sidetracked?" he said with a small chuckle. He visited these sorts of things very rarely mostly because he had very little reason to do so.

"Mmm..? Yes.." She murmured out distractedly, running her fingers through the line of necklaces that all hung on the rack like decorations. She was a sucker for shiny things, and probably had a little attention disorder, but she was careful enough with her money that she had very little in the way of jewelry. Clothing was her real obsession; jewelry was a luxury she'd never tried to afford.

But looking at them was a favorite pasttime.

"I loves when they puts all the different jewelry of one colors out together, like that." She pointed at a box filled with jewelry that showcased sapphires. "Then they puts the other colors next to it, and yeh gets a pretty rainbow." She smiled up at Kettil fondly, before bending in to get a better look.

Kettil just smiled at her distracted behavior as he looked at the jewelry with her, he kept on just standing by her side as he stared at some of them and then looked at what she had pointed at, he seemed thoughtful almost even as she talked about the 'rainbow' effect of the jewelry when they were arranged a certain way.

"...Pick out a favorite." He had a little bit of extra money to toss around this month, why not get his ghoul a pretty shiny thing with it?

Freya stood up straight, turned, and gave him a knowing glance. Then she plucked his vest with her fingertips, and tugged him closer.

"I picks.. yeh." She murmured. Not only was it true, it was also her way of making sure he didn't think she was asking him to buy her things, just because they were looking. She did this all the time, and probably would drag him along in the future. The last thing she wanted was for Kettil to think he had to buy her something pretty every time they went out.

She kissed his cheek, and heard chuckling in the distance. Public affection was always her weak point.

She tugged him close and then kissed his cheek. He just kissed her nose lightly not seeming to mind public affection at all as long as it was kept within safe boundaries. He quietly touched her cheek and then kissed her forehead, "Miss Byrnhildr, pick a favorite piece of jewelry. I know I'm your favorite boil," he smirked softly, "I just want to spoil ya a little today."

If she still refused he'd have to just go about buying her something when she wasn't looking. Cause he's Kettil. Kettils notoriously stubborn.

She wouldn't admit it, but she kind of liked the way it sounded when he called her Miss Brynhildr. There was something classy about it; something that made her feel like a lady. Not many things managed to do that to her. That, coupled with his insistence, made her cheeks bloom with color. She tilted her head enough to look away.

"Yeh knows yeh don't has teh does that, though, ja?" Her voice was very careful, just trying to be sure. New relationships were always hard, when it came to boundaries. "Yeh don't has teh spoils me. I would never expects yeh teh does that, or anything." Her eyes flickered up to look at him shyly.

She blushed and acted coy with him but he was wise to not tease her about how she had given him guff about buying her things now that they were dating, he kept that to himself and just lightly nipped at her nose, "I know this. I want to, if I didn't I wouldn't even have said anything," he said simply with a small shrug.

"C'mon let me spoil you a bit. You've given me so much now it's time to give you a little something in turn," he whined at her now with a small grin peeking through.

Well. She couldn't argue with that. She stuck out her tongue at him, before turning back to the long rows of jewelry. She never allowed herself to look at them with intent to buy. It was always safer to just enjoy the view. But now that she was given a choice..

She wanted them all.

"This is goings teh be a hard choice." She murmured, flickering her gaze from one grouping to another. She knew she should pick something from the sapphire section. Blue would match most of her clothes, and it always looked right on her. But her gaze kept sneaking back to the pink diamonds, glittering and beckoning like a temptress. She refused to look at them for long, but always came back.

"Maybe I thinks about it for a bit. We comes back after, ja?"

He returned her gesture of sticking out the tongue by sticking out his own tongue right back at her. Kettil didn't rush her to choose instead he just stood there watching as her gaze kept getting caught by the pink colored diamonds and he gave a small chuckle,

"...You know there is no shame if that's what you want," he indicated the pink diamonds, "but if you want to think about it first, fine."

His arms crossed over his chest waiting to see where she dragged him off to next!

"Shhhshshshhshshhh." She turned around quickly and put both of her hands on his mouth. Apparently there was shame in wanting that, according to her. And she refused to let anyone hear that she'd been looking at pink diamonds. Because what strangers thought is just so important.

"Yes, I thinks. Now we goes teh clothings stores. Did yeh ever decides if yeh wants pajamas or not?" He certainly wasn't going to find them in the stores she frequented - but she was going to stop at a men's store too, along the way.

He suddenly had her hand on his mouth and he was being told to 'shhh'. He raised an eyebrow but smiled regardless he lightly nipped at her fingertips as he gently pulled her hand away so he could answer her, "We're getting some pajama stuff for me, yes. After we're done with all the stuff you wanna do or whatever? I dunno. I never honestly shopped with a ghoul before."

Clothes shopping duty for the boys were often foisted upon his father and they usually went in, got stuff, got out.

"So basically lead and I will follow and maybe carry the bags," he smirked a bit.

Lead, and he would follow, and carry the bags.

Freya's heart pitter-pattered with ridiculous excitement.

She led him straight into Forever 6 Feet Under, and then let his hand go, because she needed all of hers to pick out outfits. Every single outfit she picked out looked cuter than the last, but she couldn't put anything away. She just started piling them up in her arms, until she started to teeter, carrying more weight than she herself probably weighed.

"TO THE CHANGINGS ROOMS!" The muffled voice under all the clothing screamed.

He watched with amusement though as she started to announce their next destination he smiled slightly as he moved to take all the clothes from her so she could see where she was going - and walk straight, "Alright, let's go," he said patiently with a chuckle.

She had no say in the matter; he was going to carry stuff.

Kettil simply followed along with a small happy hum, he kind of liked this. He couldn't go shopping every day but this was nice. He got to see Freya happy and in her element.

The load lightened without warning, and Freya could see again. She blinked at the sight of Kettil taking some of the clothes, and grinned broadly. "Yehr such a gentleman." She drawled at him, hip-checking as she passed and walking towards the dressing room.

"Miss, it's 6 max-"

Freya gave the attendant a look as she started to tell her off, before shaking her head. "Ja, there is six in my hands."

"And the boil's?"

"HE HAS SIX TOO THAT MEANS SIX!" Freya's scream cut through the room like a knife. It was irrefutable. The woman just stood there, staring her down for a moment, before just walking past with a sashay that clearly said the customer is always right.

"I try," he laughed a bit even as she hip checked him and he followed. He just watched as Freya dealt with the staff and tilted his head a bit to one side cringing only a bit when Freya's voice rose over the din of everyone shopping within the store but oddly enough he wasn't embarrassed. Freya was feisty and he liked that about her. She got what she wanted when she wanted it - he could respect that.

Kettil simply followed not uttering an apology for his ghoulfriend.

Why apologize for Freya being herself?
