"Well, the swamp does tend to hide things when you're not too familiar with it. The more time you spend here, the more hidden things you're likely to find." He gave her a smile of his own before moving over to some of the vegetation so he could do a little light grazing, sniffing out more tender shoots to pull into his mouth.

"Ah." She nodded and moved toward him, sitting nearby but not partaking of the food herself. "Where do you usually sleep? It doesn't look like it's here. Or at least not very often."

"Oh, I move around from place to place, staying in one spot for too long doesn't interest me all that much. And it's nice to see how an area's changed when you've been gone for a while--the saplings were shorter when I was here last." The swamp goat chewed on a mouthful of soft, sweet shoots, looking fairly unperturbed by the idea of not having a permanent place to call home.

"Ah." She nodded and moved over to see if there was a place to fish. Her tail swished happily behind her, the acha in an unusually good mood with this buck.

Swallowing his food, he watched her actions curiously, wondering what she could be up to. Did Acha fish? Was there even enough water in the desert to practice fishing? Or maybe she'd just picked it up in her time in the swamp, he really couldn't be sure. Either way, the buck continued to watch, wanting to see her technique.

After spotting a fish of both dull color and plump body, she shook herself off before moving to knock it out. One hoof was all she needed, smashing it with a fast motion from her thin legs, her hoof moving back sending it up in the air where she caught it with her mouth. "Eashy!"

The motion splashed him in the face with stray droplets, but he ignored it in favor of laughing at her victorious expression, turning away from the edge of the clearing to walk over to the center and look up at the darkening sky. "It's going to be a lovely night tonight, there shouldn't be any clouds to block the stars," he let out a content sigh.

She let out a happy sound rather than talk as she moved to the place she felt she would like to rest in. The fish was settled before her and begun to be eaten, little by little. "Would you like some?"

"You can have it all, I'm not too hungry," he replied complacently, waiting for a moment before calmly settling himself close to her, rather hoping he wouldn't get a hoof to the snout for being so close. Does were fickle like that, sometimes...

"Alright." She smiled slightly, not minding his closeness. It was sometimes hard to deal with the loneliness that was her desert home. But she lived, and moments like that were very welcome. "Cold?" She chuckled softly.

"I thought you might be, considering how warm the desert's supposed to be. It's not cold here, but certainly not as hot as the sands." The buck glanced up at the sky again, wondering what appeal such a dry place could hold, with only tough plant life, and definitely no standing water bigger than a puddle.

"At least you are here to keep me warm." She giggled lightly, nibbling at the fish.

"Anything else you'd like, too. If I can't be a gracious host, well, I'd hate for you not to want to visit the swamp again." He let out a hopeful little hum, giving her a friendly wink. iHibari Kyoya Sorry for taking so long, classes decided to give me a smackdown. >n<;;

She giggled slightly, nosing him. "Such a gentleman. I enjoy the company of a kind buck like you."
