Promoted. Zim had never once in his life been promoted.
But what had he done? NEvermind his Tallest was pleased iwht somthign he did, though the rational part of his brain knew he had done nthign. And he was.. concrned for him. Caring even.
no the Tallest arnet supposed to do that ethier.
"Zim serves.. his tallest. not other way aorund." He siad feling vry uncfrontable about all of this. Zim knew this was Dib and he want suppost to be his tallest but he was and he cursed his Pak for tkaign the hman and inprinting him, but Dib was ... different. much different htan Red and Priuple.
Dib never just became biolent toward shimf or no reaoson. in the past it was becuas ehtye tried to kill eahc other, so that was perfeclyt alright. now days well .. their fights got less vilnt and more ... dependent? Was tht the word zim was looking for?
No .. there was no way he coudl be dependent on .. Dib.

Zim required very little ocnvicning to remvoe the disguise, sense it felt much better with it off now. "You've seen Tallest Dib you know how they act." Zim said simply while letting the robot head rest in his lap while Pak seemed to be doing more internle workings.
Zim was an alein now living in a human's house, for the time being. His base, evnetually would repaire tiself with his aide. But than what? Conqure Earth? As ifthere was no point to do it, not even to prove his worth as an invader.
He was dead to hsi whoe race.
"No more taking over." He said more to himself with evident disapointment in his voice. Other than tkaing it over with what .. a borken base and his SIR unit's head? That was laughable and unduable.

Zim visibly stiffened when Dib drew near and wrapped his arms around him. What was he doing and what was this suppost to be? Zim didn't understand but programming demanded he allow hi sTallest to coninute. Zim himself didn't care all that much but perhapes because it was Dib a human whom he hsould hate above all others.
"Can't live here. No Irken equipment .. and you stink?" He sad attempting for himself to make things sound somewhat normal. It wans't much of an effort sadly but it was something. "This palnet sucks nothing to do." He muttered bitterly out.

"Files were deleted." Zim said while seemign to relaxe now that there was distance once more between them again. "Zim cna .. fix his base." Having somethig of a purpose again felt .. good. Though the base was common sense and all but hsi Tallest gave it officlly as a mission.
Purpose once more.
"Tallest should sleep. Zim doenst need it." He told Dib seeing the human was in fact exhausted. "Zim remains awkae gaurding his Tallest .. even id Dib human annoys Zim to no end." He added in far to Zm like.
his Pak Legs had managed to repaie thsemselves and Zim felt considrably moe safe with thm tucked away and ready for usage again, not trailing limpy on the ground behind him as he moved like they had been for nealry two hours.

Next Morning

Saturday's Zim discovered while on Earth was the day were everyone rested and had fun. Zim had spent nealry all ngiht ont he computer because one there was nothign else to do and second Dib said he could. The interet was .. weird. Though he knew from the first time he ever went on it but stil weird was the only thing Zim could think to disrcibe the place as.
Though bieng on a site called 'YouTube' and wathcing humans cause massive harm to themselves made him laugh depsite himself. And so many .. cat videos. Zim at first didn't understand it till he relaized he spent three hours wathcing them.
Zim had despite his comon sense telling him otherwise had snuck downstairs much ealrie and stolen a package of oreros form the pantry and had scarfed them down. Haivng a large amount of usgar in his systems again he felt .. mor eactive.

"What is this Slender Man?" Zim asked turning and facing Dib. He heard the human rousing from his sleep but didn't pay much midn to it. "Go splash around in your water Dib. I will remain here .. where it cna't possibly touch me." He muttered out while continuign to the next cat video. But this Slender Man had him inturged.
Enough to acutlaly put it int he search bar and find somehting on him. What was so scary about a tall man in a black suit anyways? That didnt sound scarey at all now .. dead space palnets. Those were scarey.
..... What in the name of IRK! Who made this thing! Zim just stared at the screen his eye huge and clealry showing 'WHY!" Who in their right midn woudl think of somethign like this.
Forget what he said about a tall skinny human in a black suite not being scarey.

Zim just sat in the chair staring blankly ahead. He wans't eaclty wathcing the screen just staring at it. that Slender Man thing .. it mimiced how he felt at the moemtn empty and eerie for some reason.
Why was he ocmpring himsle to a stupid made up Earth Myth!
Why did it have ot be this way?
Why did his leader shate him so mcuh when all he ever did and wanted to serve them faithfuly?
Was this how loyalty was repayed?
Abondoment and .. THIS!?
His body began lightly shakign and he began rocking stedily bakc and forht without realizng it. Clutching the robot head tihglty to were his clas dug into the metal.
Why didnt he get another chance? He earned hadn't he? After eveyrthign he did! Why was he left fo rdead on this horrid planet were all he had left was his enimy!
No! What did they know! He ocudl stil be an invader! YEs! He ocusd stil show his worth but no! He wasn't an invader! HE want anythign!
Dib was his Tallest and he felt sickened and relaized and to many things all at once.
"Zim could have fixed everything if they had given Zim a chance! Fixed everythign and eveyrthing would make sense aagain!" He blurted out while slamming his head suddnely against the desk repetdily.

"If Zim was compitent than I could have beaten you regardless!" He shouted at Dib feeling so confused and angery, more than he had ever in his whole life. "I dnt understnad any of these .. things in my head!" He epxlained while his vocie was tkaing on a higher pitch and cracking, his voice never crakced. "i hate all these things in my head! i hate you becuase I cnat do anythign without you! I hate htem for making me feel weak! I cna't stop any of these!" His face felt hot and wet of rosme reaosn and it made it even worse.
Why oculdnt' he stop?
Why did his throat burn and feel like it was trying to chocke him from the insde?
