Esp= Pan comido
Et= eated bread
eng=piece of cake

??? I don't understand ? Why would there be peace for a cake ? confused

She means "a piece of cake." xd Like "it's so darn easy!" but in a nicer way. 3nodding wink

Precisely. I corrected the spelling (piece, not peace), as to not cause any more confusion. gonk

'Tisn't a problem at all. All of the English natives here understood you, and chances are that mindgroom, a Francophone, wouldn't have known the idiom anyways. ^^;;;

DUT: "Met de mond vol tanden."
ET: "With my mouth full of teeth."
ENG: It basically means something like 'speechless'.
(I like the thinking behind this one - the idea is that when you're speechless your mouth isn't getting any proper instructions from your brain, so it just quietly carries on with its tooth-storage duties.)

DUT: "Broodje aap verhaal."
ET: "Monkey-sandwich story."
ENG: "Urban myth."

DUT: "Een schaap met vijf benen."
ET: "A sheep with five legs."
ENG: A rare talent/thing that everyone wants.

SWE: Tjuvar ser tjuvar.
ENG: Thiefs see thiefs.

I have no idea what a real translation would sound like, if there is one (tip me off?). Anyway, it means that you note your own personal traits in other people. If you often lie yourself, you are more likely to suspect that other people are lying to you. Phrase is often used jokingly when someone claims to kno something about someone else on loose grounds.
