Ryl's eyebrows got another workout as she shot the basket a look. "Leave food in that thing? Out here? By the time we got back from a walk you'd be lucky if all that happened is we find the basket sitting open and pilfered. More likely there's going to be a giant mess to go along with it, if I know my woodland creatures," she said, imagining the mess a racoon or normal fox would make of things. And those were just the top two creatures on her mental list.
"So why the human theme," she asked, sitting down and waiting for Rai to do whatever he had planned. "It's a little unusual."

"I had a plan of a way to put it up so no one else could get to it but I suppose I could care it along with us and eat over at this other spot." Rai mused mostly to himself but a slight little bit to her.
He gave her a grin. "Because we aren't your typical every day foxes my dear. We aren't different in a bad way. We are just different in general. I figured doing it this way would just add more interest to the date."

Ryl let out a snort that was more or less a summary of her general feelings about humans. She'd never thought much of the silly creatures.
"Well, this is all your idea," she said, a faint crooked grin visible on her face. "Why don't you tell me what we're going to do next, hmmm. You went through the trouble to plan this, you get to lead the way."

He wasn't sure if that meant she didn't like what he had come up with or what. It kind of knocked him back down a peg or two. "Alright. I was just giving you some options. I suppose we will take the blanket and food with us to the other spot. It will make for a better evening. " With that said he bent down and picked up the basket than walked off of the blanket and waited for her to do the same that way he could pick it up.

Ryl stood and also moved off the blanket, wondering if she should help or if she'd be in the way and just let Rai handle it. "Guess I really did come to early, if we're moving the party to a separate location," she said, tilting her head slighly with a tiny smile. "We moving to confuse any party crashers?"

Rai set the basket down and moved to pile the blanket on top of the basket so that it would be easier to transport. "Yep best way to avoid party crashers is to secretly move the real parties location." he said with a chuckle before re picking up the basket and started to head off to the new spot.

"So how far is it to this second location of your," Ryl asked as she followed along behind Rai, curiousity piqued. She didn't think it would be too far, not if Rai had planned to potentially move locations while carrying the basket and blanket along.
It also made her feel just a touch guilty. She was used to doing things on her own and taking care of herself, so watching Rai carry everything twinged her conscious.

Rai attempted to answer Ryl's question while holding onto the basket. He tried to say Not far but it came out "Naht har." which he realized sounded almost nothing like what his answer was. He tightened his hold on the basket and blanket not wanting to let fall.

Ryl was able to understand what Rai was trying to say, even if it did come out a bit muffled. She nodded to show understanding and spent the rest of the walk in silence, looking around at the scenery. The air had that crisp, smokey scent of autumn and the sun was still up so that she could properly see the riot of colors the leaves had turned.
It did have one or two signs of human habitation, the bridge they left behind and the paths worn into the ground. Still, she was surprised that the humans could have been here and left a bit of wilderness still so pretty. Birds chirped contentedly at each other, or else scolded the two foxes on the ground for being bold enough to pass through their territory.

Rai smiled at her around the basket's handled. They hadn't been walking to long. They had walked long side the little river on the bank. They were heading up river. They came to the end of the river which was connected to a man made waterfall. There along the bank was where he set the blanket and basket down.

Ryl looked up at the fall, head tilted to the side. She could see it wasn't a natural creation, since nothing in nature had perfectly symmetrical rocks arranged in patterns around the tumbling water, with no plants at all growing over them. Part of her wondered if the fall itself came from a natural source or if the humans had routed the water to flow their way as well.
"Pretty," she commented, as the sound of babbling water filled the silence.

"It is but that isn't even the best part or the main reason as to why I brought you here. Though I'm glad you like it," He said before kissing her cheek and than began to re fix how he had the blanket and basket at the last spot that they were at. As he worked he started humming at a medium volume to himself. It wasn't a fast tune but it wasn't a slow one. It was a simplistic one and easy to copy. A few leaves fell from one of the surrounding trees and landed on his back.

Ryl's eyebrow went up again for the upteenth time that night. "Oh," she asked, curiousity suffusing her voice as she looked around the area again. "So what was the main reason you brought me here for?"
Her ears twitched as Rai began to hum. She listened to the tune weave through the air and join the music of the water, trying to place where she might have heard it before. She couldn't though, it sounded like something generic made from one of a dozen widely known songs. Still, it was nice.

After a few moments of humming and straightening out the blanket to his liking. He than placed the basket on the furthest away from the water. "Like I said there will be a special show that I think you would like."
He than walked over to the little pool at the base of the water fall. "These are part of the show. That I thought you might like." he said while pointing into the water. Down below the water's surface was some fish. It wasn't fish he had seen before but thought they were pretty nifty.

Ryl leaned over to look into the pool, interested. "I've heard about these before," she said after a few moments watching the fish swim lazily around. "Dad's talked about him. They're pretty common where he comes from, but only in certain areas. There weren't any where he lived, but there was a spot a short journey away."
She sat back down. "I never got to see them, cause he traveled far away from his homeland before I was born. Shame, it sounded interesting." She tilted her head. "Food now?" Her stomach protested, reminding her she hadn't had breakfast yet.
