(Jinji Losa is having another RP with a love interest *future RP taking place now* would you be ok tossing Val in there when I quote you there?)
Thinking the matter of her past closed now that her father and brother were back and they didn’t pester her for hours Losa felt a bit happier. It was a short gallop toward the shop and the apple trees that were behind it. She hoped they were as good as she remembered them. There were peaches back there too weren’t there? Those were her mother’s favorite if she remembered right. Hearing hooves behind her Losa picked up the pace and was running full tilt toward the shop. The gate on the side leading to the back was open so Losa used it to run into the garden without slowing.
Starting off slowly after their children Alu-lote smiled. “Yes they did. I’m so glad they are getting along. I was worried with them not having seen one another in such a long time, but it looks like it was a groundless fear.” She smiled at Dante. “Thank you beloved. We really should start after them now though or those two will pick every apple off the trees and you won’t get a bite.” She giggled and lifted a wing offering Dante space beside her so they could walk touching one another. She wasn’t in a rush with Dante and Val back things felt so much better.

Running full tilt towards the gardens, Val had to admit he wasn't going to catch Losa as he watched her burst through the open gate behind the shop. The little bit of brotherly pride that hurt was quickly ignored by the large part of his focus on the fact that he could see the apples! Shiny, red, and large, they looked so juicy and so tempting. He skidded to a stop just past his sister, staring at the apples as though he was starving. Which, in fact, he was! He reached out and pulled down a lower-hanging branch with his teeth, then lifted a wing and knocked off a particularly big apple with the tip and rolling it down his wing. He flipped it and caught it in his mouth, grinning at his sister. "I hope," he said around the apple, "they're okay if I start without them! They're so slow!"Dante smiled, walking close to Alu-lote. "It seems we have little to worry about. Val knows not to bother Losa unnecessarily, though I will have to explain some of what you told me to him later." He laughed. "I doubt even those two could strip the trees before we arrive, unless Losa's appetite has changed greatly since the last time we were home!" He found himself enjoying this slower pace, beside his beloved. The world felt right here. He was beginning to wonder if he'd even be able to leave again. It was as though his time away had left a void in his heart, and being here again was slowly filling it back. "At least there should be plenty of peaches for you to enjoy. It is the right time of year for them, is it not?"((Sure, okay. :3 ))

She snorted and used her hooves like she had as a foal to reach up and get an apple for herself. Grasping an apple she tugged it off with a small snap and devoured it eagerly. She looked back to the gate.”I doubt they’ll mind after all with you back that means father just got back and mother probably wants some alone time with him.” She rolled her eyes remembering how touchy feely the pair were when she was young. She didn’t even want to imagine what they would be like now that they would be back together. “You know maybe it’s a good thing we are here an not walking with them.” She reached up and snagged another apple. Mm these didn’t really grow well where she had been down south and she had missed them more than she let on.
Alu-lote smiled. “Well Val always knew his sister best so I’m not really worried now that I’ve seen he’s the same as always. As for their appetites well I wouldn’t put anything past those two. Don’t forget they both really love apples.” She giggled. “Yes there are peaches, they aren’t quite ripe yet but it’ll be fine. Besides Reoakee also got some oats recently so I could always sneak into the stables for a nibble or two. I’d even be willing to bet that you could sneak in with me if you wanted. She nudged him suggestively. “The kids could take a run to work off their meal. I’m sure Val will want to show off his wings to his sister.

Val snorted, grabbing himself another apple. "Sis, Dad got here ages before I did. They've already HAD time together, and plenty of it!" He honestly didn't want to think too hard about it, but the fact that they hadn't been any closer to the village left some pretty compelling evidence. He shuddered slightly and munched down his apple. "Tell you what, though, I think maybe this time he'll stay. He sure talked a lot about this place for an Azrein who doesn't buy into the human scene, you know?" Especially about Mom, he added to himself silently.
Dante nudged her right back, playful as a colt. "Why sneak anywhere? Are we not allowed to, ahem, enjoy each other's company?" He winked, grinning. "I don't think Val will ever change. And why wouldn't they love apples? Apples are delicious! But then, it's been a while since I've had oats too. Pretty much everything sounds good at the moment." He cocked his head slightly, thinking out loud. "Come to think of it, I haven't actually eaten today, and the day is almost done. A lot of excitement, I suppose."

“The human scene huh? Sound like you don’t buy much into it either brother.” Losa snorted surprised that her father had been around longer than Val she would have figured they had arrived close together. “Still I bet mom will be happy to have him around. She was pretty down when he first left. I don’t know how it was for a while but I’m sure she didn’t change all that much. Maybe sadder but she still lived through it all.” Losa didn’t mention that she didn’t know because she hadn’t been there, but Val would probably figure that out. Though maybe not he did seem pretty hungry and his stomach always over ruled his brain before.

Alu-lote bated her eyes at him coyly. “because sneaking and getting away with things is fun.” She rolled her eyes. “Apples are good but you know how I love the sweetness of the honey that’s dried with the oats. I guess I just love the sweet things in life.” She inwardly sighed of course Dante hadn’t eaten. As soon as she had seen him they had gotten side tracked. Of course it was a fun way to get sidetracked but still she really needed to take care of his health and not let him starve himself. “Well my sweet mate I suggest we get food into you of some kind before you disappear right before my eyes.” She gave a mock gasp. “Look it’s started with your tail. I think it’s gotten shorter!”

Val gave his sister a sidelong look, choosing his next apple with care. "I never did, you know that. Nothing against them, it's not like I was ever treated badly by a human or anything, and I was born in a human settlement..." He nodded towards the shop and shrugged. "But I just don't get it. Maybe I would if I met the right human. But I haven't, so I don't." He shrugged again, as though that settled it, and paused as he stretched his wings out. "I like being independent anyway. Can you imagine trying to meet a pretty lady with a human around? Even Mom wasn't here when she met Dad, he didn't see this place until we were born!" He grinned at her. He chose not to pick at what she said, which seemed like an allusion to whatever had happened to her while they were gone. There was time to find out. Ever the hunter, even with his sister.
Dante mock-glared at her in horror. "Oh, come on, I barely have a tail to start with, don't tell me it's already getting shorter!" He nuzzled her with a smile, then picked up his pace a bit. He could see the open gate ahead, and the apple orchard, under which his children were quietly talking together. He decided they ought to leave them to it, and turned towards the stables as he and his mate passed through the gate. Oats would fill him better anyway. And the apples would still be there later, despite all the teasing. He wondered when he would see the other Azrein that lived here now.

“I know but it’s still odd to see how different you are and yet how similar you are still brother.” She shook her head. “I understand. I can’t imagine living with a human at all. I know I was raised here.” For a while. “And mom’s human spoiled us without hovering or being in the way, but from what I got she is strange for a human. A cross between a bear and a hermit.” Losa smiled at her brother before going after another apple herself. “I’ll be out of here in a while. I feel the need to move around a bit. I might come back in a few days if you’ll still be here?”
Following her mate Alu-lote was giggling thrilled to have found a mate who had such an amazing sense of humor. When they were in the stables she noticed that he was looking around a bit. Not much had changed since he was last there. Well perhaps a few things. One of the stables had blue ribbons a few stars stitched into them. It was Luin’s obviously but Alu-lote had to remind herself that Dante had no idea. “That’s were Luin sleeps. She’s the other Azrein bonded to Reoakee. She’s with Reo in the village, but knowing her she’s probably stalking her way back now just to peek in and snoop a bit.” Alu-lote grinned. “She likes being called by her full name Luin Olos Ithil Mallen but calling her Luin is much easier. She’s a bit of a ..” How could she describe Luin. “well.. . The most fun of a pain the wing that can exit with a bit of spazz and sass covering her?” She looked at Dante wondering if that made sense to him.

"We only become more fully who we are. We don't really change, little sister. Our experience only serves to help us realize our true potential." He finished off his apple and raised his eyebrow at her. "Reo is strange for any intelligent being. But you're right, she was always nice to us. Wouldn't it be something, if all humans could be like that?" He snorted. "And of course I'll be around for a while. It's been some time since I've been off the mountains. This weather is positively sweltering compared to the snowstorms we've been having the past month up there. I'm looking forward to this, I've been craving the company of other Azrein!"
Dante blinked at what had to be the strangest description of another person he'd ever heard. "Ah... no, I don't get it." He quirked an eyebrow quizzically. "I mean, I get the words, but I have no idea what you mean by them." It was then he spotted a basket of the rolled oats. It was almost as if a shaft of golden light illuminated them. ...He really was too hungry. But attempting to ever be the gentleman, he nodded Alu-lote to them first. "Go ahead and choose a couple for yourself. Being honest, love, I can't promise there'll be any left after that." And then maybe an apple or two. Oh, sweet apples! And perhaps... some more extra-curricular activities.
((We may actually have this thing done before the babies come. xD ))

Losa disagreed. Change was possible. She didn’t think she would have been the same if the past hadn’t happened, but that was of little consequence now wasn’t it? “If you say so.” She agreed with him when it came to her mother’s bonded. “All humans like that would make this world a very interesting place, with lots of growling.” She laughed. “Well don’t tell mom that or she’ll drag out some pretty young mare to fling you at. Though maybe she’ll try to keep you around for herself to lavish so many years of built up motherly love.” She nudged him. Hearing a laugh she turned her head and starred at the strange mare looking at them.
 “mm Well the color looks familiar but I don’t know about that dagger. Let me guess you two are Alu-lote’s daughter and son?” Tilting her head she really hoped so because if there were humans in the shop they would be in a shock and a half. Reo was in the village tavern at the moment. The shop would be empty and silent. Alu-lote nudged him with a wing. “I’ll take the risk of catching a bite if you’ll eat with me my love.” She moved forward still trying to figure out how to describe the other mare. “She’s fun, but yet there are times when it’s like she’s being a pain just to be a pain and you want to scold her like a child. Then there are times when she’s so sweet you could think she was the most innocent mare on the isle and then bam! She says something sassy that makes you blink. She drives my bonded to distraction at times but Luin is good overall. You’ll understand more if you meet her.”
(sorry for the delay RL beats on me. also cheating Luin is flat out blue not her true post color)

Val exaggerated a shudder. "Oh please, don't curse me! I'm too young for matchmaking!" He barely restrained his jump when the blue Azrein popped up out of seemingly nowhere. A glance at Losa make it fairly clear she had no idea who this was either. But from the comment the strange mare made, it was someone who at least knew their mother. "...Yes. And you are?"Dante just shook his head. He'd have to reserve judgment for when he met this strange mare, apparently. Then he snagged the first apple, closing his eyes in bliss at the juicy delectable flavor. Alu-lote could have said anything at that particular moment and he would have agreed. He was mildly aware that he probably looked ridiculous, but given the apple he really could not care less. "Oh, what magic has been worked on these wonderful fruit.." he sighed happily. "I swear, they're so much better than the last time I was here."

Losa snorted amused at the thought but surprised at the other visiter. Losa wasn’t really sure where the mare came from but hated being surprised like that. She was glowering at the mare and was annoyed with this mare already. “Yes but that hardly matters.” She watched the mare looking forward to her answering of Val’s question.

“Luin Olos Ithil Mallen. Your mother and I share a bonded.” She gave the pair a snort and smile. “Don’t look so surprised,” she tossed her head back at the gate. “That really shouldn’t be left open or you never know what could sneak up on you.” She proceeded to walk up closer and give them to a good long look over. “Well you two are cute! Not as cute as me and Shadow of course, but still pretty cute.” She looked around for Alu-lote. “So where is your mother?”
Giggling at Dante’s reaction she moved close to her mate. “You look so silly, but I absolutely adore that face you’re making right now.” She shook her head. “oh I’m sure they taste better than before. Apples taste different if you get them at different times of the year. It’s either that or you’ve been gone long enough any apple would taste like bliss. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that .” Her tail swished smiling happy to have Dante here with her.
