"Cafeteria?" Jett prompted, nose immediately wrinkling. "Oh, I'd have thought you'd had better taste than that, Alex," he replied with a slight laugh, though he meant it in good spirits, of course.
"Yes," he agreed a few seconds later, "I could handle heading out to grab a bite." Art could only hold his interest for so long, and now that he was back to thinking about the Dark Mirror Court and the Negaverse, there wasn't much use trying to distract himself with art.
He'd had his time of relaxation, and even if he was taking it easy again, being around Alex had reminded him that there was still a lot of work to do for the court. It was by his own decree that he felt no guilt for taking some time to himself, and that it was still daytime meant that it was too early to be parading around town as Remarque.
Though, he could have easily called up Virtus—Grant—to get him into the gym, or maybe found some way to phone Aurora and drag her along for some self defense classes.
…Ah, ******** it. It was the weekend. Let them have a break from everything. He could work them again some other time.

"And normally I do, but I can settle for a salad." And that was about all he'd do for lunch in something like a cafeteria - he did that in school also. He knew better than to touch anything else out of his schools cafeteria, even if they said it was healthy. The mall though had the worst food, by far, greasy and unhealthy and just...poor quality and the taste of the food was lacking in nearly everything.
"If you'd prefer I'm sure we can find a better place. My treat even if you'd prefer that option." While there was food here to be had he wouldn't mind, he would prefer even, going elsewhere. And aware that not everyone his age, or even older, could spend money like he could, and often times did, he didn't mind covering a meal. How often did he cover cheesecake and a beverage for Quinn? He'd done it a few times with her, consider it investing in a bond that was needed - a business venture if you wished.
"And tomorrow you can treat me to seeing some candle holders and selling me some." He added with a smile at the other. "So what will it be? Food here or elsewhere?"

Well, now, if it wasn't out of his pocket, what did he care? A free meal was a free meal, and despite his manly inclinations, he couldn’t really refuse. Besides—it wasn't like he'd be in Alexandre's debt for long. "If it's your treat, pick your poison," he said, and while Jett could be picky, this was hardly a situation that required such. "If it's to your liking, I'm sure I can manage without it being much of a problem."
If Alex only expected an assortment of candle holders in return, Jett would be more than happy to oblige—particularly since he was always looking to sell merchandise, anyway. Some of the pieces had been around for longer than he cared to admit, and if Alex could take them off his hands and off the shelves, he'd be doing Jett more of a favor than he knew.

"I'll pick the poison...can you handle it?" He questioned, arching a brow at the other. Some people really had no taste and preferred junk food to everything else, unwilling to eat anything else or not liking anything else. And he was likely, of course, to pick out some nice place with good food. It was lunch time though so he wasn't thinking of anything heavy, he wasn't a huge fan of heavy foods anyway, but he did like cafe's for lunch options.
"I'll drive...or did you come via car as well?" Could be interesting if they'd both come that way, either they both went separately and Jett followed him, or they went together and then Jett got dropped back here at his car.

Jett waved his hand nonchalantly; anything Alexandre could handle, he'd already figured he could handle. Food was no big deal—and if worst came to worst, he could always pick up a little something extra on the way home. "Anything's good for me. You drive?" he asked; perhaps it was simply Alex's height, or the way he seemed so lithe and quiet, but Jett hadn't imagined him partaking in such 'adult' activities as driving. It seemed like a silly assumption, now that he thought about it, but he cracked a grin, anyway. "I drove over here, but if you give me a location, I can meet you there." He might have preferred a more leaderly position, but he could handle following Alex—if it was for food.

Staring at the other, slate eyes narrowing for a moment, his nose went up into the air while he glanced the other over. "Of course, I'm seventeen. I have my own car." SUV really. "A gift when I turned sixteen." He hadn't had anything big, party wise, like some girls did - he wasn't a girl. But he had gotten a car and had a nice gathering of his family, his family by blood and Lily's parents and siblings as well as Lily herself.
"Why, do I look too young to be driving age?" He questioned the other. What was with people not seeing how old he was? "You know how to get to Persimmon ave?" He asked. The block was only ten blocks from here, going East. "The place I'm thinking is on Persimmon with a cross street of C avenue. At the cross street you should head right." So he'd be on Persimmon between C and B avenue's.

Jett liked to think he had a fairly good grasp of directions, and thankfully Alex hadn't selected some totally obscure location. "I can get there," he said with an indifferent shrug. He was still fairly amused; Alex looked fairly young to him, and his size definitely attributed to that, Jett was sure. An SUV seemed like a hell of a car for him, but—hey. Whatever floats his boat. "Does this place you're thinking of have a name, or do you just want me to look for the SUV?"
Perhaps Jett's Corvette had spoiled him; it was a sleek car, decently aged and well taken care of. An SUV seemed so bulky and large compared to the car he'd grown so fond of, and imagining such a tiny driver in such a large car left Jett feel even better about hitting up the art museum, today.

It really wasn't his fault he was as petite and small as he was, if Jett ever met Lily and learned his nickname he was sure to hear it from the other. Tink was not a nickname for males and yet it was his nickname, and one he actually didn't mind. Tink did describe him though, in a sense, petite and small like a fairy. He'd always been the smallest in his year and now it wasn't as noticeable, with how many shorter female classmates, but amongst his male classmates he was still short.
As he lead the way to the parking lot he motioned, when he was able, to his own car. A black suv, Lexus, something that was obviously well cared for and recently washed and cleaned. He'd be having it cleaned a lot when winter really kicked in.
"Cafe Watercress. It's big on organically grown stuff and locally grown. The drinks are good and food is better." Just don't expect anything too heavy, but he didn't say that. "I'll meet you there then?"

Jett followed Alexandre out, cast a glance at the vehicle he gestured to, and nodded. His own car was on the other side of the parking lot, though he wasn't in the slightest bit worried that he wouldn't be able to find his way to the café. He'd never been, himself, but he'd seen signs—and Alexandre's directions would be difficult to misinterpret.
"Sounds like a plan," he said, glancing down at his watch out of habit. "I'll meet you there in a few minutes. Drive safe."
Realistically, he assumed Alex would drive safe; it only seemed befitting of the male. He offered a slight wave before he made his way to his own car. A café was not necessarily a location Jett could have seen himself dining at—particularly with another male, but—hey.
Good drinks and better food? Alex had to have some taste, and Jett was willing to at least give it a try.

"I will, and you as well." Smiling as he unlocked his own car and got up into it he was glad the other would be able to find the place, though he figured only an idiot could get lost with the directions he'd given.
The drive wouldn't be a long one and Alexandre was a safe driver, he didn't want to risk an accident and being without a car for a potentially long period of time. His parents would likely flip out, worry themselves to death, and not let him behind the wheel again for a while.
Pulling out of the parking spot he headed out for the cafe. It really wasn't a bad place, he was picky about where and what he ate, and the food and rinks were good. He knew it might look odd but did he really care? Not in the least.(We can end here if you want.)
