The zomboil had barely managed to push himself back to his feet. He had reformed, yes, but he still felt shaky and weak, the sensation of being torn in half a nightmare that would haunt him for quite some time to come. With a trembling hand he reached up to rub at his face, then let his hand drop, witnessing Chryses come back for second time. I first year he might be, but the demon boil had a lot of fight in him, at least. As he staggered back out to battle, facing Mort once more with a grimace and a shudder that wracked his body, he was barely able to move out of the way when the claws swung out at him, taking him on the shoulder, shredding through his shirt sleeve and into the flesh beneath. "I took you down once, Mort. Don't think I won't do it again!" Unfortunately, however, he had already used up the vial he had taken from the horseman tent. On Yin, in fact, which had been a terrible mistake, and one that he had paid for. With a limping gait forward, the zomboil threw yet another punch at Mort, again trying to throw whatever strength he had behind the blow. OOC HP: 45/50 Target: Mort Fear attacks: Y1 Battle Cry, Y2 Tainted Fang, Y3 Headlights-used. Damage:17

Chryses was getting very tired of those cards. He was also getting very, very tired of dissipating. All in all, he was just tired of Insanity monsters.
The one, the male, seemed to be weakening. Alex called it "Mort..." It must have once been a student. Tragic, really. Lost to the call of Home in the fog.
But he had to do what he had to do. Unfortunately Chryses was no fighter, so while he darted in for a quick jab it was likely no more than an annoyance.OOC HP: 19/30 FEAR: Y1 Headlights Damage: 2 Target: Mort

Maggie barely registered when Mort had smacked her. She noticed the cards biting into her back a bit more. Her eyes darted to the side as Alex got back up, shambling over to hit their attacker again. What would've been a small smirk crossed her face, looking like a snarl with her current facial features. Then she realized Chryses was fighting back too. She could smell the anger emanating from him, but his face looked perfectly calm, as always. Switching her focus back to Mort, Maggie bit into his shoulder as deeply as she could with her panther's jaws. OOC HP: 14/30 Damage: 7 Target: Mort AyeAvast When there's something strange

Combined (yes, even Chryses's little jab managed to help), the attack was too much for the creature. While its body lay torn and dissipating, however, the unnatural blue eyes gave baleful, dagger sharp glares at Alex and Maggie in particular, one for being an awfully hard hitting nuisance, the other just because she was a beast.
Frankly, he was a tired of animals as the demon was of Insanity creatures.
The mist peeled away into nothing with a dark hiss.

A high pitched whining noise echoed around them as the witch watched them focus their attacks on her mob boss friend. It would appear the fact that they ignored her had upset her. "Don't you want to play with me too?" The creature asked as she swooped down and pulled on Maggie's ears and tails, forcefully enough to actually hurt quite a lot. After that was another swoop over to Chryses, where she tugged at his horns before she pulled on his coat enough to fell him When she whirled back around toward the zombie, she noticed her companion was gone. With a tilted head she looked at the spot he once had been, as though she were confused by his disappearance. OOC Total HP : 50/ 60 Damage done: 13 Targets: Maggie & Chryses
