As the new anima entered the scene of the temple, Maddox would jump a little, startled by his appearance being seemingly from nowhere. When the cleric rushed over to help the other anima, it troubled maddox a little bit, his eyebrows furrowing over his dark brown eyes in thought. It didn't trouble him much due to the fact that he wasn't injured himself, but still. Draconians were notoriously heavy, and the one he had slung over his shoulders wasn't getting any lighter. As the younger cleric rushed up to the second anima, Maddox decided to ask him a question or two. With his barbed and bladed tail swaying from left to right in a nonchalant fashion, he would walk towards the. cleric. "excuse me, you wouldn't happen to know anywhere i could place my friend here to get help? we were on a mission and he got a bit... well stupidly wreckless to put it in blunt terms." the white haired anima would state calmly.

Farah stepped out of the shadows into a corner of a beautiful place. However she did not have time to look around. Her directions had been so precise that she was only about five feet from Kinetav. Prior experience with men and having no knowledge of his personality made her very very nervous.

She resisted the urge to hold Pierce, it seemed like a crutch at the moment and she wasn't weak. Then again it probably helped that Kinetav was currently being healed by a cleric and had to be in great pain from his serious wound. She noticed he had given himself a bit which triggered some very unpleasant memories but also made her smile. "Give the man a prize, Pierce, he is logical and yet creative."

Taking a deep fortifying breath I stepped forward toward Kinetav, in plain view of the clerics and other patrons. "Ok Pierce here we go..." Nervously approaching Kinetav felt a great deal more dangerous than it should, but I did it anyway. As the cleric began to heal him, which was fascinating to watch, I addressed him, standing in the most strategic spot for a quick escape.

I gave a small smile as I introduced myself "Hello Kinetav, my name is Farah O'Roarke and I have been sent to find you. Our great mother says hello."

"Your life is not your own."

Pulling out the last of the melted metal from his arm was at the same time the most relieving action and the most painful, having saved the largest chunk for the last; the Anima managed a brief smile through his bit as the Cleric came and grasped his arm, feeling a warmth flow as parts of his skin glowed brightly. A waft of soothing shadow flowed over him as his steel grey eyes turned up and looked at the woman from earlier. A slight smile crossed his face as she approached, his face illuminated further by the light that engulfed his arm. With his other arm, Kinetav moved his hand to cup his throat as a gesture of good will towards her before he grasped his Exodus bit and took it out of his mouth; the core was visible now as the metal shifted into a liquid that flowed with ease into the shape of a one foot long dagger before it was immediately sheathed. He glanced Farah over as she addressed him before she mentioned their great mother, and smiled more as he spoke, "Well met, Farah. I'm sorry that we're meeting like this, I am usually in a little better shape..."

As the holes in his flesh began to close, concealing his muscles and inner flesh again, the fingers began to move slowly, each time getting closer to a fist as the movement his arm once had was regained; as the healing reached its completion, he slowly removed his arm from the cleric's grasp and nodded to her, "Please, that draconian seems far more wounded than I am..."

His left arm felt bare without his armor, a fact that made him unconsciously place his arm near his exodus sheathe and will the metal to flow onto his arm in a second "blade" of sorts; a pure black version of the forearm gauntlet manifested itself as he leaned forward and looked back up to Farah, "You have found me, and by our great mother I will help you the best I can. How can I help?"

What kind of person smiles when in extreme pain Pierce? Pierce's reply proved idiotic.. something about "compensating" or some other male nonsense so I ignored him. The light from the healing of his arm lit up Kinetav's face and surprisingly he was not brutish or ugly or even mean looking. He was actually, well... "Kinda cute isn't he princess? Maybe you should keep him? *chuckle*" " I blushed at Pierce's taunt and told him to be quiet, happy that I was still in the shadows. Watching the healing was extremely... uncomfortable.
I will not be sick, I will not be sick, I simply will NOT be sick."
Taking a deep breath and focusing on what Kinetav was doing was helping my rather pathetic mantra work.

I had absolutely no idea why he was gripping his own throat... but his smiles seemed to indicate that he was not going to hurt me. I was caught by surprise when he blatantly proved without a doubt that he too was an anima, and in a public place no less. "Pierce, do you think our race is tolerated on this planet?" "It seems unlikely princess, he is probably just showing off." I was so caught up in watching his exodus reshape itself, that I almost missed the fact that he had started talking.

I believed Kinetav about normally being in better shape, he didn't seem the type to get hurt all that often. Watching his exodus flow and move yet again, I couldn't help it, I decided to get comfortable. With barely a thought from me Pierce began to stretch and slide up my body until he settled around my ear as a beautiful cartilage ring with its gem of green flames. The only reason Pierce tolerated becoming my jewelry was the supposed vantage points he got, or so he said.

When Kinetav looked back at me and offered to help me... I was confused, I had hoped he would have known I was coming and why. Oh well. Feeling odd looking down at him I walked towards him and sat facing him a few feet away and crossed my legs. Meeting his gaze I replied "Actually I was sent to help you, on your great mission. Removing our mother's false son from this planet. Ring any bells?" I lifted an eyebrow, interested to find out what he knew and if I would be able to tolerate working with him. He seemed nice and all, but he was after all still a man, and void help me I had a past full of problems with men as it was.

"Your life is not your own."

The shadows or the light seemed to play tricks with his mind as Kinetav watched Farah's reactions, curiosity nearly killing him first at her blush followed by her belly button ring beginning to move on its own; his eyes opened a little wider as he leaned back in his chair and rested in bewilderment at her speech and true nature, not once taking his eyes off the moving Exodus until he had taken a grand look at it along with the rest of Farah. Farah's speech was no less confusing than the rest of her, making Kinetav's mind speed up with the endless possibilities of what she meant as his gaze turned to her eyes once more.

It was all eerily familiar, reminiscent of a young Anima who had gotten himself thrown into another strange world which he had no clue about; he cursed inwardly at not having his projection gauntlet to try to aid her as the probability that she was not of Rykros initially settled into his mind, along with a feeling of helpfulness in trying to get her settled in. "There are many who wish to call themselves Voidsworn but do so in a false manner," the Omen said, his curiosity seeming to flow outwardly as he kept his vision on Farah's eyes, "but my greatest question has to be where you are from and which false prophet you seek to help me remove, since you do not know the name of Rykros. The biggest of the these false prophets would have to be the Plague General, but...he's disappeared for now."

The cleric moved away to look over the dragonian and the anima carrying him in.

"Well, it would seem The Omen graces our temple today," came a farther female voice. High Priestess Emerald walked up, a couple of training clerics behind her. "To what do we owe such a visit today, Kinetav? If we'd have known you were coming we would have had a meal waiting for you." She looked to the trainees on her heels. "Students, this is High Knight Kinetav from the Devil's Eye, a close ally of Ernya. He is also titled The Omen for reasons that our Lady and their leaders know."

As the cleric finally came over to assist Maddox and his golden scaled friend, Maddox set his companion down on a nearby bench. He would then look at the cleric. "You can take care of him correct? I have to go turn my mission in. And inform somebody about those... oddly behaving plants. If you don't need me for anything, i'll be on my way. But i'll be back to make sure he's alright." He said, nodding to the passed out paladin on the bench, causing his mohawk of sorts to dip slightly, and the braid on the left side of his head to bob. It wasn't in Maddox's nature to feel... responsible for people, but his mission had been to help the draconian. So he figured the least he could do is make sure the young beastial man lived to fight another day.

He kept staring. Farah was beginning to become distinctly uncomfortable under his unwavering scrutiny, but he actually seemed to be more focused on Pierce. "I think he likes you Pierce hahaha" she teased. Then finally he spoke again. She hated the fact that this man seemed to "see" far too much more than what was obvious around him. It made her feel tense, but she pushed down those feelings. Logically she knew that he knew nothing of her past and that seeing as he shared both her race and her current commitment to the void the odds were high that he wouldn't judge her anyway. Still, she would be wary of what details she mentioned about her former life, this planet was all about having a new beginning.

When Farah met Kinetav's gaze and heard his answer to her question she very much wanted to bang her head off of something hard, like perhaps his spiffy looking armor. Common sense prevailed however and she settled for sighing quietly while she took a moment to absorb what he said. This was turning into a disaster. Unconciously pushing her hair back from her face and lowering her gaze, she realized that this man had no idea just how frustrating her situation was becoming.

Not only was she trying to hunt down and kill a man who apparently was now "missing" but there were others? and was she supposed to have to work with a man? for how long? She had a head full of questions and no answers. She also was without a home or any sort of income.Truthfully she was also getting tired of talking in such a circular fashion and since he seemed non threatening she was willing to speak much more plainly. "Easy Gecko, just take it slow and we will figure this out." For once Pierce was actually reassuring.

Meeting Kinetav's disturbingly perceptive grey eyed gaze again, she smiled a sarcastic little grin and spoke plainly "Kinetav, I am from a utterly crappy planet called Irialot, in a tiny inconsequential system called Zerrat. You should also know that I only travel to distant planets to deal with the biggest and baddest. At least, until I meet one that's bigger and badder than myself."

"Now what do you recommend I do abo......"

She cut her self off abruptly as a female voice addressed Kinetav. Quickly she noted the woman it belonged to and two others approaching them.

It was surreal to watch the encounter, half meet and greet and half lecture the woman acknowledged Kinetav as both the Omen and now "The high knight of the devil's eye" he was an ally to the nation, he was.... a celebrity.

Managing to snap her mouth shut and look less incredulous, Farah acknowledged that she was getting cranky. She had no desire to work with someone who was so very well recognized and titled and and and...male. Oh well, she would obviously be staying on this planet, she supposed now that she had met him as ordered she could go on by herself. She wouldn't want to cramp his glamorous lifestyle.

She smiled to acknowledge the newcomers and began thinking of ways to excuse herself without being rude.

"Your life is not your own."

While Kinetav did not show it on the outside, he was perturbed by Farah's travels. It was so similar to his, so heart-wrenching to him that the Omen would have given her a large hug if it would not have made him look like a creep. Looking away and down at the ground with his fingers entwined in clear thought, he rummaged through his thoughts for whatever he could offer her; the most clear to him was that he had to retrieve his projection gauntlet and treat her like Liliana had treated him, showing to her the basics of the planet. Resolved upon this, he turned his eyes back up as the Anima listened intently to what she wanted recommended; a familiar feminine voice and a view of the High Priestess from his Exodus immediately shifted Kinetav's personality. A smile quickly appeared onto his face and he hastily stood up from his chair as the High Priestess approached him. With a bow of his head to where his hair covered his face, he spoke cordially as the Voidsworn resumed his full height, "You do me far too much kindness for a man unannounced who is not only graced by your presence but also has tainted your church with my..." His voice trailed off, his eyes opening a little wider as he contemplated the spectacle before him. On the ground lay partial black blood, clearly his but no longer having the redness that it had once held as he finished his statement, "...blood. Without your cleric's aid, my left arm would still be useless after it had been scorched by a point-blank fireball of a firaline, taken for a Kakurenbo named Lizzy. High Priestess Emerald," Kinetav stated with a small sweeping gesture of his hand, "allow me the pleasure of introducing Miss Farah O'Roarke, a friend of mine and hopefully a soon to be resident of the Devil's Eye." "

Next to Farah, a masculine whisper not that of Kinetav's voice spoke simultaneously to her from the shadows, to her ears alone there was a tone that held a slightly sinister ring yet was genuine, "We apologize for the formality...being a knight is not what it is cracked up to be sometimes, and it often makes the simplest of greetings turn into awkward meetings. We always love a normal conversation... But we hope that perhaps you would soon desire a meal back at our nation's capital along with all of the questions you might ask answered and your recommendations fulfilled, non-heckled by others' prying questions and able to speak as we want to." The tone in her hear shifted to that of a more playful tone, causing a slight blush and even sudden movement from Kinetav to the Exodus' hilt before Edge could finish the sentence, "Besides, the Master yearns to see from and hear from an Anima from another planet like himself, especially one so be--"

The cleric smiled. "We live in Ernya, sir. We all know of the carnivorous plants. It's good none of them actually got a hold of you. You'd be digesting right now." He looked over Jasper some more. "He'll need rest but some quick healing should fix him right up."

Emerald smiled. "It's only some blood. And all who live and breath could not taint this holy ground." She nodded to Farah. "It is a pleasure to meet you. You might be of some help." Emerald turned back to Kinetav. "Evvie sent word to all upper city officials to keep an eye out for you. If we were to see you, we were to direct you to her." She looked to her students, who both nodded and left. "Evvie had a visitor a couple days ago who helped her decipher a book. The book is suppose to lead somewhere but no one has been able to figure out how to get there. Evvie felt someone with the ability to travel as you do might have some insight."

Farah found it extremely hard to focus on watching Kinetav slap on a smile and listen to what he was saying, when another voice was speaking directly into her ear. She did manage to notice that she had been introduced and she gave a half bow to the obviously important woman "Pleasure to meet you."

The voice in her head, which was now that she thought about it, quite obviously Kinetav's exodus was yet again, very confusing. Pierce was tense and ready to shift into his natural form, because another exodus felt so intimately close to her. Farah was no idiot, the exodus was offering her everything she wanted at that moment... so naturally there would be a catch, a trap or some other nonsense. Then again... maybe listening to him pitch this "date" to her was already the catch. Farah smothered a laugh but couldn't hide the small smile, at the thought that the great Kinetav's Exodus sounded like a scarier version of a slick salesman.

Farah's eyes widened and she blushed hotly when the exodus shifted tone and ..... flirted with her? She would have hated how adorably confused, flattered and angry she looked if she had been aware of it.

Her eyes took note as Kinetav gripped his exodus and cut him off abruptly in the middle of saying, well it sounded like.. "Beautiful. Yup that's what the chum said Princess. Gotta give him credit, the blade has good taste. Awwww I think he li--" She pinched her earring sharply and cut Pierce off with an internal yelp.

Finally pulling herself together she listened to the Priestess. She got the strangest greeting she'd ever heard. She was a stranger to this planet how did this woman know if she could help her? Confusion seemed to be her new constant companion, so she just gave in and listened to the woman intently. The proposition sounded interesting at the very least and now that Farah had almost returned to her normal colour, she answered the woman politely.

"I know I am a stranger and I do not speak for the "great" Kinetav." Farah resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Meeting the woman's eyes she continued. "I however would be happy to offer any assistance that I can to you and Evvie."

"Your life is not your own."

In a darkened chamber stood two men, near twins cloaked in dark armor seemed to have a staring contest as they circled around each other. One scowled in anger and frustration as another one smirked back in content and glee, neither one seeming to waver under the other's scrutiny. The scowling man had the first urge to speak as they finally approached one another and stood within an arm's length, a tense tone echoing throughout the dark room, What...the....HELL, Edge! HAH, if it wasn't for me just now you'd never have had the balls to do it, Edge sneered back, entirely content with his actions and speech towards Farah prior as his hands rested at his sides with no tenseness in him at all. The scowl had turned to worry and Kinetav began to pace around a little in the room, Psh, I would have, just not so bluntly like you! Do you really think that even came close to working? A window opened up in the room, continuing to engulf his entire view as he snapped back into reality, revealing Farah standing with a large blush on her cheeks and a look of flattery on her face and causing a slight surge in confidence within the Omen along with his own confusion.

Upon hearing the High Priestess' words, Kinetav bowed again towards her, looking up and to the side at Farah with a slight smile forced as he heard Farah's over-exaggeration of him, "You too do me far too much honor, Farah. I would be just as happy to offer my services to Evvie as well, it is not often that I am called. It is the very least I can do." Slowly he returned to his full height, the smile on his face genuinely warm towards Farah, "Please, right this way. We will go straight to Evvie...by your leave, High Priestess Emerald." With a respectful nod, the Voidsworn turned and walked from the halls of Pital's Grace.

A myriad of emotions chased themselves through Farah's mind. Fading confusion at the attention from the exodus. Relief that he seemed to ignore his exodus' prior comment and tone. Along with a strange blend of curiosity and mirth that the formidable Anima seemed to have not only understood her jibe at him... but had also taken it well. She fought down a smile but was probably unsuccessful as she nodded in faked solemnity at him when he spoke to her.

She was shocked when with a few final words Kinetav addressed her then turned and began walking away. She paused a moment, finding that she actually had very few reservations about accompanying this unique person. It's true that he was male, but he had yet to try to harm her in any way.

In her mind's eye she saw Pierce, tall and broad with her red hair his dark eyes. He nodded at her "Go on gecko, You know I've got your back, Always." She felt him shifting into his natural form and tucking himself into the back of her shorts as a wickedly sharp 8 inch curved dagger.

Feeling much lighter and less worried than she had since her arrival the anima jogged to catch up to Kinetav and began regathering her hair into another ponytail as the first one had gone to pieces. So showing an enormous amount of trust she walked beside him with her hands occupied over her head by her hair. This leaving an alarming amount of possibility for bodily harm to herself that she studiously ignored.

"So Great High Knight of the Devil's eye," smirking slightly she continued. "Where are we off to now?"

"What injustice have you committed?"

Brow furrowed, lips twisted into a frown, Krona stalked into Pital’s Grace. Frustration charged the very air around her, and as she passed, a guard that had been leaning against the wall bolted upright. Unseen eyes followed her from beneath the tinted visor of a helmet. His gloved fingers were tight around the hilt of a sword.

Krona ignored his gaze, and the other gazes thrown in her direction - ignored the tensing of bodies and the fingers wrapped around weapons. The word “Wormwood” reached her ear. Why those words were their lips, she did not know, nor did she care.

Her wings ached, her stomach rumbled and her eye lids were heavy but she was here, and she damn well wasn’t leaving without seeing a certain Dark Avenger and his girlfriend. Or who she assumed was his girlfriend.

She marched up to a kurenoburo woman, leaned against the wall. Her lavender ears stood on end as she approached and her yellow eyes narrowed. She hissed.

“Relax Kitty; I’m not here to hurt you. I’m looking for someone. Tall, Black skin, dark armor. Cocky attitude.” Her hands drew him in the air.

Recognition lit the kurenoburo’s yellow eyes. The woman pointed toward the door, and Krona turned in time to see a flash of white vanish into the darkness.

“Wonderful.” Without even a thank-you, she rushed out after them.
