And suddenly, Alexandre. "Alex..." Esme just about bowled him over, jumping on him to give him a great big hug. Poor guy. There were no other words to describe such pure elation over her good friend being one of her own. She sniffled as tears poured down her cheeks and soaked up his nice warm peacoat.

At least she wasn't sobbing enough to soak through his coat, and get him wet. That wasn't something he wished to suffer, even if it was a friends sobs of happiness, one hand went to rub her back gently.
"We should get moving. I believe I promised you something to drink and desert, Esme." Smiling as he spoke her name. Too bad for her this meant it wasn't a date but just two friends, and allies, spending the evening out. She knew he didn't fancy females after all.
"It's good to know another classmate who's on our side." Thinking of Natron who was also in this war and on their side.

"Ah.. ahaha.. right. Sorry." Esme sniffed and wiped her eyes with the arm of her coat. "Yeah! I mean, I don't know anyone else besides you." She didn't know that Natron was Gabriel Blake and vice-versa, even though she shipped those two with Beni/Alex like no one's business. "Okay, right. Let's go.." She stepped back and slipped an arm into Alex's. "I'm staaaaaaaarving.."

Laughing he smiled at her. "We have, to my knowledge, one other member of our team in school with us." He spoke as he lead her from the alley way and down the street. It wouldn't be too long of a walk to his usual coffee house for some food and hot drinks.
"Do you happen to know Gabriel Blake?" He asked, unsure who she knew in their school. They traveled in different social circles.

"Oh! Yeah." She blinked. Funny Alex should mention Gabriel, given that she paired them both SO HARD. "He said he would give me pointers on how to protect myself from the aliens and we became fast friends." Hehehehe. Esme wondered how Gabe was doing. She saw him often enough in school but.. wait.. why would Alex mention him... She stared up at Alex. "No way.." If that was true, then Esme was a total Nega-magnet.

"If that was recent it would be because he knows they are real. He's a Lieutenant, one I'd been looking to recruit but was beaten to." He didn't sound put out in the least, Painite had grabbed him up - seen his potential. It was flattering to know she'd seen something in Gabriel as well.
"Lieutenant Natron would be the name he goes by in the Negaverse. Though I'm also sure he'll become a Captain sooner rather than later. For now though he is a new Lieutenant of the Negaverse. You should speak with him in school, in private, and maybe you two, or we three, can go out one evening and I can see to it that you both are safe." It would be good to somehow find out every member who currently attended their school and arrange meetings or somehow gather them all together in school at lunch and such, even if it would likely seem odd; as he was sure they were not all part of the same social groups.

Abuh.. So Gabriel was Natron, the cute Lieutenant with the dodge ball. Vythica's boyfriend. Again Esme appeared overwhelmed with information. Not that it was bad information. Oh no, not at all. But all these big reveals made her feel just a taaaaad dizzy. She shook her head to get out the cobwebs. "Yeah. Wow. Ah, Natron and I, we've met and sparred already. Omigosh I totally didn't know he was my Gabriel Blake!" Suddenly her Benitoite/Natron and Alex/Gabe pairings made sooooooo much more sense~ "Yeah, it could be like a magical girl-boy-whatever party!" she exclaimed. "That would be fun. I mean, educational." But mostly fun. "I want to see the Nega-boys in action!"

"It's good that you've already met each other, so you aren't total strangers." It would keep them from having to go through the introductions before they could get to patrolling. "Yeah, Natron is Gabriel Blake. A surprise to be honest, but I believe he will do well in the Negaverse." But could he fight in this war? That he didn't know. He knew of his opinion on the aliens invading them though, which was a plus.
Walking slowly along side Esme he tilted his head toward her. "It can be both fun and educational. And you would get to see us in action, as we would get to see you in action as well." Which would be good. He wanted to see what Esme could, and couldn't, do. He would be talking to Remarque about her, making sure she was trained and able to defend herself, he just didn't know when he'd get to talk to Remarque.

"Ahahahahaha.... ha...." That hit her like a ton of bricks. That whole innocent expression of 'we would get to see you in action' brought her back to her recent fight with Lenka. With being called a murderer. Esme frowned and licked her lips. "Uh, yeah, I guess so..." There were far too many contradictory things being said that her brain was put on overload. This really sucked. "Hey, do I HAVE to fight...?"

Wondering why she was laughing, since his mind wasn't in the gutter nor did he have a clue about her shipping of him and Natron, he tilted his head to the side while wonder if she was alright. People didn't just laugh over nothing and he was sure he hadn't missed something.
"At some point, though I'd say it will be more a self defense thing, since I don't see you as looking for fights or starting them." But he knew senshi and, or, knights would try and fight her. She'd need to know how to fight.
When they did reach the cafe, finally, he held the door open for her before stepping in behind her. The place was an odd mix match of different furniture and other things. The wooden floor creaked in areas, the furniture looked comfortable but old. Tables didn't match and really it looked very odd and yet charming as well. There was to their right a glass display case with cakes and cookies, pies as well. From the case there was a counter top, done in wood, where they could get menus and have a waitstaff member seat them.(We can, if you want, end this with them getting a table?)

"Right. No, you're right.." She gazed out at the cafe. It was beautiful, wonderful. Maybe it would help her relax. HOPEFULLY.. it would help her relax. "I'll find us a seat. Uhm, oh, choco muffins for me, please~" And she was off, hoping - just HOPING - that some chocolate would keep her mind off everything.
