Bruce waved his hand in front of Sakura's face and said, "Uhh hello are you okay?" He tilted his head and said, "Are you hungry ?" He walked to the fridge and looked around in it so maybe he could cook something for her.

"Oh sorry, just thinking about something, ya I could eat," Sakura replied; her aunt came into the kitchen and replied, "The doctor told me that for right now she can only eat liquidy foods like jello. We have cherry if you would like to make that."

Yeah I can make Jello for her." He got the cherry Jello box and started making it and said, "It should be done soon. It needs to cool off in the fridge." He set the big bowl of jello into the fridge and sat across the table from Sakura and said, "So you got anymore to tell me about yourself Sakura?" He smiled at the girl and noticed she was a bit pale.

"Well besides my mom dying in childbirth, my father getting killed by Team Nova, and my having bone cancer I'm pretty boring honestly. I've had lukemia ((prolly spelled wrong)) and bone cancer since I was born, the bone cancer gets worse everyday; pokemon is really the only thing I have ever known and the only thing I can do," Sakura told him. "How about you?"

"Well thats a bit of a downer, I could honestly say the highlights of my life, I beat the Indigo Plateau and stopped after that. But before I went home I went through the Viridian Forest on my way home and saw the strangest Pokemon ever. It was some sort of Nymph that was being chased by a Houndoom and I saved it, and it went into another portal. But thats only one of my encounters with strange pokemon." He smiled and said, "I would say I am your average trainer other than that though."

Bruce said, "Ehh just your average trainer, I am nothing special." He chuckled and got the bowl out to serve Sakura a bowl of the Jello. He smiled and looked at how joyed she was to see the jello. He figured it must of been her favorite flavor.

Sakura ate the jello that Bruce set in front of her extremely quickly, then looked up at him and smiled slightly. Her aunt replied, "I know you haven't been able to eat for a few weeks, but be careful or you are going to make yourself vomit, Sakura."

Bruce looked at Sakura and said, "Boy you were hungry huh?" He tilted his head in a bit of shock. Bruce heard a knocking at the door and luckily had his hat off and saw it was Team Nova and went to the Aunt and said, "Team Nova is looking for the two of us what do we do ?" The Hitmonchan was eager for a battle and hoped he got one.

"Team Nova is a group of troublesome teenagers, they stop when they see adults especially mother-type figures," She went into the other room and open the door, "You will leave my niece alone, now, or I will tell your parents."
"Crap," One replied, "Don't worry we'll stop and leave them alone." They quickly ran away from the door.

"But I seen someone a lot older than them they have to be led by someone else, these kids wouldn't be so well organized let alone nice uniforms, almost as bad as the Rockets." He remembered a green haired fellow that was in the tent when he saved Sakura and wondered who it was.

Bruce shook his head and said, "Weird kids these days then." His Hitmonchan was itching for a fight and Bruce said, "Relax Hitmonchan I will use you when we fight Sakura for the badge okay?" He put Hitmonchan away and chuckled at Hitmonchan's spirit.

Sakura sighed upset, "Yup, really weird kids." She didn't meet his eyes; her older and only brother had dropped out of school and chose Team Nova over his family after mom had died in childbirth with their younger brother. She hoped that one day he would return home and go back to being the old Dylan that she loved, but doubted he would.
