"We have only two boys in our house hold, and that would be Rhine a dragon, and Sky a Changeling. I know what people do behind closed doors, although I myself have never done such a thing." Ceres blushed and looked away. "I learned from my daughter why people have doors..." She trailed off. "She lives next door with her wife, and twins."



There was an entrance through the stables, which Rhine took advantage of. Although a very tight sqeeze he managed. Once inside he lifted onto his hind legs and streatched his neck up. He gave a good long sniff. "It stinks in here..." He landed again on all fours and looked to Renor. "I wonder if they ever cleaned up after themselves?"

"This island is controlled by will, a magic of sorts of a persons heart. With that, and my mothers best intrest she gave them a wedding present. A potion of sorts. Neither new what it would do when they drank it, and well needless to say..." Ceres smiled. "I really had nothing to do with it, but I am very happy for them."

"The only thing this castle offers is temporary shelter. Nothing lives here anymore." Rhine paused. "Well, human at least. Lets head down lower. I think I herd once that part of it is flooded." Rhine had never paid attention to full story, so he didn't know he was leading them straight into muck central. "Follow me." He smiled, and slithered on towards some stairs.

Ceres' eyes gazed at Satine. She may be blind, but they gave the look of power. "This island can work magic on even the most tragic incidents, but only to the occupants. However, I myself never consider a child by birth. The whole bed room thing... I don't know I guess after 450 years of me, myself, and I you just get to where it doesn't mater." She paused. "Like I siad I didn't much even understnad the concept till my daugher. I am sure the rest of children will follow suit at some point." Ceres twiddled her fingers. "I hope later rather than sooner. One was shock enough for me."

"I hate stairs myself, but there is no other way down." Rhine said as he started his way down. He really didn't know where he was going as this was his first trip into the castle. But hey how wrong can you go in looking for a basment, he thought to himself. Down and down the stairs went, and soon most to all light was just but a flicker. The air became thicker and stale. A hint of mold lingered. Rhine's eyes adjusted rather quickly because he was use to murky waters. Then his foot felt it. It was cold, slimey, and wet! "We are here!" He was excited that he had found it, and quickly went slithering in.

Ceres looked around, and went straight faced. "Where did they get to?"

The further Rhine went in the thicker it got. What felt like water soon felt like sludge. He tried to turn back to worn Renor, but it was too late. "Renor something isn't right." His voice was worried. He thrashed his tail tail distressed.

Ceres go up, an almost look of panic. "I cannot sense them for some reason or another... That means they much be in the castle." Ceres sighed. "And, I asked him not to stray..."

A pair of two red eyes emerged from the darkness followed by a sleek, black boddied creature of unknown orgin. It was snake like except for the lack of scales, two tails, and three eyes. It was heading straight for Rhine, slithering with ease through the muck.

Rhine howled, and thrashed his tail. His claws stomped up, and down. HIs thick boddied mass just merely wollaring, and taunting the creature.

Deep in the back of Rhine's mind was a conversation.
Do It... No I cannot!
Do It... Is it alloud?
Do It... I never knew I could.
Do It... Can I really?
Do It... Now ?!

Rhine managed to free his front half, just as the creature was about to wrap his body around him. With this free second, and back into himself he shot a very weak blast of ice at the creature. His aim was poor, and barely managed to make a hit. What did hit simply bounced off the sleek skin hardly making a mark.

Rhine cried out. "Help Me Renor... Help Me!"

Ceres looked dirrectly at Satine... "Rhine doesn't know how to control it... yet." She paused. "He isn't old enough, to even manage his will power. Without such power, no he is not protected." She thought trying to make it sound better. "BUT, if they didn't destrub any residence then they SHOULD be fine." She tried to give a postive smile. "We better go find them..."

"Tinker please stay here, incase they get back before we do." Ceres added before leading he way.

"I told them him not to stray." Ceres mumbled.



The two tails of the creature pinned the even further stuck form of Renor. While the front half was occupied with Rhine.

Rhine had caught climpse of the bubble. "Got a few more of those Renor?" He panted. "Aim for the eyes."

Rhine caught himself once more thinking.
I just shot something cold from my mouth.
But, what did it do?

Ceres lead the way, saving her breath for the quick move.



Rhine was snapped back into reality as the creature landed two fanges into his rear. With a yip he shot another icey blast from his mouth. It didn't even hit the creature but it did hit the muck. The muck froze, and shattered freeing him.

FREE! Rhine thought.

The creature was pissed, and made a few quick moves and Rhine slithered from the muck. Once on solid ground, Rhine thought really hard to manage to shoot a few more blasts of ice. The muck around Renor shattered.

"Bite him, and run!"

Rhine gave a few more icey blasts exhausting his resorces. But, they were free. Rhine led Renor back up the stares. The light seemed to keep the creature away. "Wow, that was a close one." Rhine panted hard. "Awsome bubbles."
