Shirune couldn't helped but be in a little bit of a shock.. Dragons could do all that?
"Eh? Uh, I- I'm just admiring the clouds! Hehehe!"
He said in a hurried tone, though there were no clouds in the sky.

Ky couldn't help but giggle. "But there are no clouds!" She looked over at him curiously, suddenly realizing something. "You've never met a dragon before?"

Shirune was a little surprised when Ky asked him that question. Had he ever met a dragon? Of course not!
"Well.. I've seen on from far away.. It was purple and shooting lightning from its mouth..."
He shuddered slightly, remembering how fried he was after that encounter
"But other than that no.. I've never met a dragon up close..."

Ky smiled. "Don't freak out, okay?" She closed her eyes and made a strangle whistling sound, then watched Shirune carefully. "Just stay calm, he's really very gentle." She watched as a small dragon (about the size of a house cat) stepped out from behind a tree and walked closer to her. "This is Kin. He's very sweet, he won't hurt you." She held out her hand and Kin came closer, sitting on her lap calmly.

Shirune blinked a few times as he saw what looked to be a cat sized dragon? He rubbed his eyes once, then twice, and then leaned forward in disbelievement.
"Ehh? Thats a dragon?"

Ky giggled and watched Kin. "Yes, right now he's small. He can get fairly large though." She petted the dragon's head and looked at Shirune. "You can pet him, he won't hurt you."

Shirune tentavily reached out towards Ky's dragon, hoping that she was right and that it wouldn't bite him. He closed his eyes and then lightly put his hand on the dragons head

Ky smiled and watched. The dragon sniffed his hand tentatively before nuzzling his head into Shirune's hand. He cooed softly and happily walked onto his lap, curling up and purring. "He likes you!"

Shirune couldn't believe his eyes as Kin curled into his lap. He was shocked momentarily but then starting stroking Kin's head softly
"Well I guess I was wrong about dragons.."

Kin cooed and climbed up onto Shirune's shoulder, licking his cheek happily. "He really is gentle," Ky said quietly.

Shirune watched from his peripherals as Kin climbed up his shoulder, and laughed when he started to lick his cheek. He was thoroughly enjoying being with Kin and Ky.
"He's so cute! But question.."
He said as a thought began to drill its way into his subconcious.
"How big does he get whenever you in danger?"

I sighed as I walked away from the school: I still hadn't found a roommate, and my classes were still in that "here are all the rules" phase. I stumbled into a small flower field and relaxed slightly: here I could be at peace. My wolf ears lay back against my head, and my tail began to draw small circles in the air. Suddenly, the flowers around me began to bloom, and I laughed with delight at their beauty, laying down and smelling their sweet scents.

Shirune began to act almost like a cat as he waited for Ky to respond, mimicking pawing at Kin and then after setting him down on the ground rolling around and stretching. He hadn't felt this way since.. Since.. Well since he died! That thought made him stop and sit up, he scratched his head and shook the though from his mind. No time to think about that.. Especially when your supposed to be enjoying your life! He then stiffened as he heard laughter in a close vicinity of them. He instinctively reached for his sword, but remembered that he had thrown it next to his bag which was a few yards away.. Shoot.. I don't want to burn these flowers..
"Burst Rage.. Aecqua..."
He murmured under his breath, and as he did so his right arm was entirely covered in a dark blue liquid. He crouched and stayed still, not knowing if the person was sent to harm him or Ky

Ky smiled. "About the size of a small cottage... Fairly large." She watched as Shirune tensed and as Kin grew to the size of a large dog. "Relax boys, let me check it out." She closed her eyes and laid a hand on the ground, a small shadow jumping from flower to flower over to the girl. Ky smiled and stood up, looking at the two. "It's okay, it's a wolf-girl!" She walked over to the girl and sat near her with a welcoming smile on her face. "Hello there!"

I started upright, reaching to my back for my sword, when I realized two things: I couldn't use my lightning sword, because I had had to leave it home in order to enter the academy. Second, there was no threat: it was simply another girl, and I smiled at her, replying "Hello! Sorry if I seemed panicked, I wasn't expecting to meet someone here." sweatdrop
