He just looked at her when she said ‘even though I am the way I am’ not understanding what was wrong with her. When she explained he just smiled and chuckled. He took a breath and raised a paw just above her nose so he could rub the top of her muzzle. “Rikka you might be a theif but you took the time to help a perfect stranger. Your nature is kinder than you give yourself credit for. As for your temper. I saw that with that finned fox. In truth though I know she made you uneasy for you said as much. Your concern was for protecting me. Again it is your protective nature which is a good thing. As for your body, we all bear scars in our lives yours simply happen to be on the outside rather than on the inside. You say so much is wrong with you but I don’t see it. Rikka you are with you and I see no problem with any part of you.”

Rikka looked so nice while she was smiling like that. When she pulled away he let her only leaving his paw up in the air for a moment. “Well I have no set place to be in this world so I intend to travel more.” He shrugged not really eager to rush head long into trouble but also not able to just do nothing in life. “What will you do?”

The grin threw him off but he couldn’t think of a reason why she couldn’t come along. Rikka was smart and could clearly take care of herself. “Well I see no reason you couldn’t come with me, but you did mention you had family, we should speak with them first. Else they may come and panic seeing you gone.” He could see that scene and wanted not to be the cause of such greif.

Dust’s eyes followed the rock into the bushes. He looked back at Rikka surprised. If she had family following her all day why had they not come forward for the issue with the finned fox and the other winged ones? Not only that but to listen to Rikka’s self deprecating statements about things that were ‘wrong’ with her and to stay silent. Dust did not have a high opinion of the silent follower.

Dust had no idea who this new vixen was but made note of Kazu being in the area, whoever that was. “Hello miss Rhea, I’m Dusyanta.” He used Rikka’s name for the stranger not certain if it was a nickname or not, but really having nothing else to call her. The way she spoke either she was very tired or her mind was a strange maze that would make talking to her a chance for a headache to form. He looked at Rikka questioningly not sure what to make of her. He sat down to let the females have a chance to talk since Rikka clearly knew this fox and at least didn’t attack her on sight.

Dustyanta bowed his head respfully to Rheaha. Rikka was a kind and gentle soul dispite how she made herself and her family sound so he was sure that Rheaha was also a good fox in spite of her unusual way of speaking. He was quite fine with being introduced as Rikka’s friend as he felt a strong kinship with her and liked being around her. The thought of Rikka killing anyone was a bit unnerving but he doubted she would ever do so. It was most likely said to calm her aunt who seemed the type to worry for the safety of herself and her family. “I’m no threat to Rikka at all Miss Rheaha. I place her life above my own.”
(OTL Dust think about what you are saying. Seriously )

Dust looked at Rikka and simply said nothing. He had meant what he said and it was as simple as that to him. Her life was more important than his own was to him. Rheaha’s words also gave him no pause. He merely nodded to her. Her opinion was nice wasn’t really all that heavy on his mind. It was nice to make someone important to Rikka happy but it was her health and well being that overruled other such things.
