Aksaja laughed lightly at the ghoul's question and shook his head. "Not me . . . I just bought most of these. But I'm glad that you're enjoying them. How are you liking the festival so far?" he asked then, a question for a question.

The sweet scent of sugar had brought her back here again and this time she was determined to stay on focus. Bright, colorful candy could be seen in the jar but this time it looked... different. Like someone had shoved more candies into it though it seemed the minipets running around had been occupied with eating everything in sight.
It was intriguing to say the least, but the soldier was more interested in the clear container, poking at it impatiently with a finger. There was a nod, a definite nod as she grabbed for a piece of paper.
This time there had been no distraction and she was happy with the number. Hungry eyes left the paper and went to the treats as her stomach lurched a bit. Though she had not had her fill of the treats her stomach was against them still.
Too bad it wasn't the one in charge.

Mmm.
Chewing slowly the horseman was happy with her little haul of treats and she shoved them into her mouth. She felt a few stares from the booth looking onward, but she ignored them as she inhaled them. Iyari hadn't found anything odd in the treats yet and for this she was kind of glad.
It was nice to just enjoy something for a while.

Coffee in hand, Senga settled on visiting the Second Circle in between throwing things, playing scariokart, and other such sports that taxed him both physically and mentally. The wonderland tart that had been following him ever since Aymet's booth seemed to have the same idea, because it crawled out of his hood at the sight and sat on his head until he finally found something to offer it from the booth's snacks.
"Aah..."
Blinking at the appearance of what seemed like a guessing game just as he was leaving to find a seat, Senga tilted his head, considering the idea of trying it out. It really couldn't hurt though, could it...? Senga rumbled and scratched out a number on a piece of paper, depositing it before finding a seat where he could sleep drink his coffee in peace and ignore the world for awhile.
Yes, that sounded nice.

Nibbling at the sweets, Senga found that they weren't half as bad now that he was used to consuming them in waves. Before, he'd eaten mostly meat, but tonight it seemed everyone was set on candy of all the strangest sorts. Feeding another sweet to the wonderland tart, the horseman rumbled and leaned back until his chair was balanced on its back two legs, staring at the dark sky above.
Maybe this place wasn't so bad after all.

How are you liking the festival so far?" he asked then, a question for a question. "Oh, its a great festival!" Oh my gosh he was talking to her! She ate another snack. "If I ever run a booth some fright night, it will be a candy booth." Definitely. Probably. If she ever was able to run one. "So. You don't make the candy, but I bet you like it, right?" she smiled amiably. Despite the whole Tree-lightning thing. (Acerium is a sentient sugar maple...)

Nahm wrote down a number on the guess slip without much thinking about it. He'd rather have the candy, really, but it didn't appear the candy was being given out.

Free snacks? Always to Nahm's liking. The chance of a token was pretty great, but free food was a prize in and of itself. He liked this festival.

The lightning dragon smiled at the ghoul and nodded. "Of course, who doesn't like candy?" He leaned in a little closer as if about to tell her a secret. "But I happen to actually like meat a bit better . . . of course, candy seems to be more popular at these sorts of events."
There was a little pause and then he said, "I haven't seen you around much. Are you a new student here, or just visiting for the festival?"

A sweet treat? Yes, Sheridan was most certainly in the mood for one of those, preferably something of the chocolate variety. Yes, this piece of chocolate cake would do nicely.

While he was here, Sheridan figured he may as well take a guess at the candy jar. Why did it look like there was not the same amount of candies as there had been before? He shook his head, scribbling down the number 56 on a paper and handing it over to the proprietor.
