Chandra looked to Sonnet, smiling at the silent strength and reassurance.... and having him there really did give her courage. Taking a deep breath she faced the group, trying to be as objective as possible despite the fact that it was about her own father, a father she loved very dearly... memories of him teaching her and Sonnet to fly came flooding back. Things were so different now, although a part of her wanted to always hold on to what she had once had.
Clearing her throat she decided to get this over with, the faster the better she imagined. "Thank you all for coming. Sonnet and I have gathered you here for a very important reason...." He closed her eyes for a moment, taking a breather, pausing for strength to continue. When they snapped back open she was all determination and courage. "...my father, Maion, has decided he needs to leave the herd." She let her words sink in for a moment. Let everyone digest exactly what that would mean for them all. "I... we..." She looked at Sonnet, knowing they were in this together. "...don't want to leave him alone, so... we are planning to leave too." She looked at the group, "...we have called you here.... to see what you would like to do. You may join us, you may stay, you may leave. The decision is yours. And while myself and Sonnet may not yet compare with my father..." She stood a little taller as she spoke, pride for her mate allowing nothing less. "...we want to continue the strength of the Miakoda herd." She smiled warmly at the soquili she had always considered to be her family, extended though some might be. "Who is with us?"
Auva's eyes went wide at the news. Leave? They were leaving? It was a hard concept to digest, her heart pounding in her chest as the nerves washed over her. Without being able to stop it thick tears started to rolled down her face.
Crown looked at Kyran, looked at Chandra, looked at Sonnet... and then repeated. Leave? Maion was leaving? He never thought he would see the day that the old Angeni would leave the herd.... something must have happened, something must have caused the change in the stallion that Crown had always looked up to. But what? He had no idea... still, in part, it was good timing. If the herd was changing as it was his travelling may very well have less of an impact.... yet, as he thought that he couldn't help but wonder if him leaving would leave them vunderable? An extra pair of hooves were always useful... but Crown needed to follow his heart, and his heart already belonged to another. He remained silent.
Alice had followed Sonnet along with her little family and father, yet there was nothing she could do to hide the sheer surprise at Chandra's words... leave? She had never contemplated it, had never believed she would ever leave here! But Maion was going? The stallion that had saved her and her family from certain doom.... was it time to repay the old stallion by keeping him company as he ventured on his new adventure? Or time to go their own way? She didn't like the later option, and as she turned to Jasper she knew he would support whatever she decided. Standing up, her eyes travelled over Sophia, her sons, Renesme, Crown, Eden, Carlisle, Jasper and then towards Chandra and Sonnet. "I am with you." She said, mustering all the strength she could even as her words shaked a little with fear... she didn't want to be hunted again.
Sonnet, moved, not far, just to where Auva was, nuzzling her head softly. "Shhh little star, family isn't a place and a home only exists with a family. Your home will be with us always but you are grown, if you wish to stay your grandmother will be glad of the company." Speaking softly to Auva, not expecting an answer, just being honest with her. "We will understand if that is your choice, but we will miss you while we are gone, its not a goodbye I promise you that."
Kyran looked at Crown, feeling very uncomfortable, he had not really been among a herd like this before. Giving Crown a nod and a smile, he was with Crown, if he wanted to stay a little while or leave sooner, if he wanted to come back, it didn't matter. "I'm with you Crown, no matter what you choose."
Eden looked over at her family and then her mate, her grandmother was going with them. "Orion...." Her voice soft, her concernes in her eyes, wanting his ok before speaking up, they needed Chandra with foals on the way, but she knew he was not a group person, she was just glad he had come with her.
Carlisle looked over his family, giving his daughter a smile before looking over at Eden, he was no midwife but if they decided to not go he would stay with them while they had the need of assistance, he had no doubt that the Cullens would all see eachother again.

Orion looked at Eden, he could almost see her unspoken question... she wanted to go too, but was asking permission first. He nodded at her, leaning in even as his eyes drifted over her belly. He was no fool, they needed protection and they needed Chandra... whatever Eden wanted to do, he would do. No hesitation. He had already come to live in a herd... something he would never have thought possible, he was now expecting foals... things were so very different now to how they had been.
Chandra smiled at Alice's reply, she hadn't expected anything so soon and so sharp, but then again she suspected it was more to do with her father than her that had influenced such a responce, she only hoped that one day she would command such loyality from others. "Thank you Alice... Jasper..." She wasn't sure how many of the Cullens were included in that reply but she was thankful for the support all the same. Plus, Jasper could fight, could help Sonnet. Her eyes wandered to Auva, part of her wanted to go over and sooth her daughter but she knew that right now she had other responsibilities, she would cuddle her in a little bit. that thought alone made her smile a little wider.
Auva sniffled a little and looked up at her father, leave him? Never! She couldn't imagine leaving him. She shook her head in protest to the idea and leaned into him, hoping he would understand her answer. She would go with him. With her mother and family. She loved them all dearly.
Crown looked at Kyran and nodded in understanding, "Thank you." He felt a little guilty, but he found himself saying, "I don't want to announce that we are leaving here... I would rather tell my mother first.... but... I still want to travel with you Kyran. This doesn't change things." He planned to offer his assistance should they need it, he would always hold an alliance with them, and planned to one day return... but for now, he needed this time to grow into his own.
Hakidonmuya moved slightly and looked over at Heze, she had stayed with him as he healed, and it seemed now she was needed elsewhere. With a nod he said softly, "You go with family, Heze. They need you."
Renesme looked at her mother and nodded, Rune wasn't here but she knew that he would find her no matter where she went, and she didn't want to be here alone, couldn't bare the thought of it actually. "Me too." She said, softly at first, "I will go too."
Sonnet nodded at Chandra and smiled as he hugged Auva close, she was coming. There was no doubt that he was also going to go, he would never leave his family.
Kyran smiles at Crown. "I know, the world is not going anywhere, and neither am I, if you want to go with them for now and just postpone the trip for a short time thats ok. I'm with you either way."
Eden nodded and gave Orion a kiss, neither of them prone to public displays. Looking over at Chandra, speaking loud and clear. "We are going to come too." She didn't think anyone other than Chandra, Crown and her mother knew abotu the foals yet, but news would travel fast as soon as they went public, someone was bound to gossip.
Heze looked at Haki, her eyes moving to the wounds that had nearly killed him. "Come with us?" Not able to stop the faint sound of pleading in her voice, not wanting to leave him behind any more than she did her family.
Carlisle spoke in a clear definate voice. "I'm with you." Having stood quietly, knowing that he wasn't essential but a healer was never a bad thing to have around, besides he had just found his family again, and they were going with them it seemed.

Chandra was so proud in the strength she saw from the group, with a nod and a smile she said softly, "Thank you.... your strength is fantastic, right now you are all shining as bright as the moon and stars themselves." She knew not everyone had answered, didn't expect them all to right now either, after all it was a lot to consider and she didn't want any of them to make the decision lightly. Her eyes wandered towards her other daughters, they had yet to answer but she suspected they would both want to come... or maybe that was more her hope.
Haki blinked in surprise at Heze's request. She wanted him to come too? He followed her gaze and looked to the scars upon him, they were healed now, much better than they had once been... still he had to wonder if it was only because of them that she was asking him to join her, even as his mind whispered that he wanted it to be for a different reason entirely. He tore his eyes from her, from himself, and towards the mare who had spoken... Heze's mother. If they were going, with all these females, they would need all the males they could get. Perhaps he could use the excuse of wanting to repay their kindness to go with them, all the while attempting to get closer to Heze? Was he even allowed to get closer to Heze? He wasn't sure. With a nervous gulp he looked to Heze once more and nodded. "I go. I help protect you and you family."
Auva snuggled up into her fathers warmth, content to watch the other interact and decide.
Crown shook his head, "I told you already that I had decided, when I confessed to you... delaying now... even for this..." He found himself blushing, "...well, it wouldn't sit right with me. I chose you. Completely. I want to do this... with you."
Sonnet looked over to Haki, momenterily amused at Heze's surprise at his offer, meeting the stallions eyes and giving a nod, grateful that he was not the only one worried about their lack of able protectors. Damn the stallion he was starting to like him, when did that happen?!
Heze blinked shocked at Haki before smiling broardly, wanting to hug him and lay a kiss on him. The thought of that alone stopped her from doing either as she went pink, looking over at her mother. "Hey its what I trained for right, you think I'm going to let you all go off on an adventure without me?" Beaming happily.
Kyran nods and smiles, giving Crown a nuzzle then remained quiet, they would talk to Crown's mother and be on their way instead, they could always come find the herd if needed.
A polite cough comes from off to the side, Abloec had caught the jist of this little meeting, wondering if his old friend knew how lucky he was. "I didn't mean to eaves drop but if my old friend is on his way to pastures new with you good folk I can do no other than to offer my aid also." The green stallion having faces the skinwalkers with them once already.
Not far behind him was another familiar face, one that looked sheepish. Cael stepped up beside his friend and gave Chandra a smile, it seemed the pair had a habit of oppotune visits, but then Cael had once told Chandra about the clouds. "A princess should never travel with out an old knight around, even though she is all grown and has a new knight to come rescue her now. I've never been any good for a fight but I have picked up a few things, I'll come if you have a use for me." Feeling awkward to be stepping into the middle of the family set.

Chandra beamed at Haki and Heze's reply, she was pretty sure something was blooming between them, and as she looked at Sonnet she almost got the impression that that strange stallion was indeed growing on him. Good, that was good. They would need strong bonds and friendship between them all if this was to work, any strife within the group would only provide an internal weakness and that was something they couldn't afford right now, no, they needed the strength that came from the most powerful thing on the planet... love.
She was about to speak when she heard a strange yet familiar voice, Alock? She couldn't remember his name but was sure it was something like that, her surprise only widened as an even more familiar voice crept up beside her. Cael. Her surprise soon shifted to a huge smile as she leaned in and kissed his cheek, nothing intimate simply a greeting between friends. "I can always use my knight, and friend, with me." Her eyes wandered towards the green stallion, "And a friend of my fathers too."
Haki smiled and nodded at Heze's words, he still wasn't sure how he felt about her being trained as a warrior, but it wasn't for him to comment. It was her choice. Falling silent, not feeling as if it was his place to say more he simply watched the others in the group.
Alice smiled brightly as the group got bigger and stronger. It would be an adventure.
Jasper leaned over and nipped Alice's cheek softly. "We will be together, we can face anything." He said with a gentle determination.
Crown blushed a little at Kyran's nuzzle, he didn't hate it but he was a little worried that others might see before he had a chance to tell his mother and family first... not that it mattered too much, he was through hiding himself. He was who he was, and how he was.... and Kyran was the stallion he had chose. "Ok." He said, more to himself than anyone else. He could do this!
Sonnet looked up at the two unexpected arrivals, he knew of the pink stallion but had only ever caught a glimpse of him before, but he knew the story of how Chandra had gotten lost. His eyes going to the green stallion, knowing that he at least could face off agaisnt a skinwalker and survive. Blushing a little feeling bad as he knew his sister had been living with Ab on and off as her mate was Abloecs step grandson. Yeah family al lthe same. "Your fathers old friend and also family." Nodding to the pair goad to have more males along.
Heze crained her neck to look at the new arrivals, wanting to know who they were and how her parents knew them. Beaming at Haki again, very glad he was coming along.
Eden looked over at the stallions who had turned up, her eyes widening at the half kalona, not havign seen him around before, leaning past Orion to her mother, surely she would know. "Who are they?" Whispering, though orion could no doubt hear.
Abloec gave Sonnet his easy smile and nodded to him not seeming phased or annoyed at all that his home had been taken over. Able to remember the determind little foal Sonnet had always been, glad to see him achieving everythign he had set himself for.
Cael blushed and stepped back, going a darker shade of pink, not used to getting kisses from pretty mares.

Chandra wasn't aware of the connection Sonnet's sister had to Ablock...? She still wasn't sure of his name, and didn't want to say it outloud and make a fool of herself, especially since she appreciated the assistance, no matter how brief it might be. She was starting to have faith and confidence that they would have enough strength, numbers and warriors would only help them... even as it had her a little worried, they would need to find food supplies, and large bedding areas... but perhaps they could make it work, no, they would make it work! They had to. "Thank you." She said again, beaming from ear to ear, "All of you." She looked between then, deciding it was time to try and decide on preparations to make.
Renesme looked at Eden as she spoke, it wasn't surprising that her daughter had no knowlegde of these stallions, she had yet to be born, was naughty but a kick or three in her stomach.... after all, Renesme had been pregnant when those skinwalkers had attacked. "Friends." She said honestly, "They helped save the herd from those pure skinwalkers before you were born, Cael and Ab if I remember correctly.... I may be wrong though, slept since then." It wasn't a time she liked to remember, still for her family, for her herd she had forced her little wings to fly her as fast as possible to the allied herd to get back up.
Haki lowered his head to the ground and watched those around them. Falling silent as he did so. Right now he had no idea what to say, and he wasn't exactly understanding everything... not that he was sure he would even he spoke fluently their language.
Chandra nodded to herself, she was starting to see a plan. "Anyone who believes they can fight.... will need to talk to Sonnet." Yes, he knew far better that side of things than she did, after all, she had never really had a like heart for such things... while she had grown to see the need for them. "I don't know when we will leave, but we need to consider preserving some food, building baskets and carriers...." And with Eden and Orion coming, she needed to make sure they had all the preparations in place for their babies. They had time, but it was nice to be prepared.
Eden lifted her head and looked at the odd pair of stallions, part of hr wondering if they were like Crown in their preferences as they came with no mates. Though she couldn't tell by just looking at them, maybe, maybe not, it didn't matter either way. Kissing Orion's cheek and smiling at him, not sure if he had seen the other half kalona. "See there are other good ones out there like you."
Sonnet gave Auva a kiss o nthe head and moved back over to Chandra. "Also anyone that feels that they could scout come to me please, there isno need for us to wander around blind to where we are going, though a blessing is we have ones here that have experience living in most areas, and if not living there themselves their family has. We also have to face that winter will be upon us faster than we might think it will, any twolegger items like the cloth they make their homes with will be benificial in making shelters, they can also be used as bags for carrying supplies. I don't want anyone stealing but we find things from twoleggers often enough so if you find anything you think my be useful bring it here, someone will find something to do with it, and if not I'm sure Eden will find some contraption to put it in." Giving the younger mare a smile, not knowing her condition yet. "If we combine our skills and knowldge we will be fine."
Heze looked at Haki, showing some mild concern as he lowered his head, not touching but speaking softly to him, near his ear, her breath warming his face and ear a little. "Nini ni kosa?" What is wrong? She didn't like it when he get that expresison, one day she wanted him to tell her why he had such a low opinion of himself, for now she was just glad they had spent all the time of his recovery with him teaching her his language.

Orion had been looking at Eden's belly, consumed in thoughts of their child and moving and protecting it when he heard Eden speak. It snapped him from his thoughts and to the world around him as he looked around... sure enough he saw what she meant, another half kalona like himself... other good ones she had said, that had him blushing, she saw him as good?
Chandra beamed with pride at her partner, always picking up the things she neglected, the perfect partner. She knew from her fathers lessons that leading wasn't about knowing everything, but rather the opposite... it was about knowing your own limitations, knowing what you could and couldn't do and delegating tasks to those more suitable. This also had the added effect of creating a strong community. Win win really in her eyes. Nuzzling him softly she nodded in agreement. "I'll talk with the mares..." her eyes for some reason found Heze then, she wouldn't be included in that number, Chandra knew what she was planning... and though she didn't exactly like it she couldn't deny her daughters kind heart and true intentions. She wanted to defend them, had trained for it, it wasn't for Chandra to stop her now. "...and we can start a collection and gathering of what we need, everything helps no matter how small." She nodded, "We can do this. I have faith in you all.... all of you..." Her eyes landed on Crown, he hadn't said anything yet, which actually surprised her, out of the herd she had been sure that it would be him who stood and joined them first.... but he was still to decide, yet even as she thought that her eyes turned to the stallion sat next to him. They seemed to be sitting more like lovers than friends. Was he the reason for Crowns current silence on the matter? Only time would tell she supposed.
Haki smiled softly at Heze and nodded, he was fine. Replying in his own tongue he said slowly, so that Heze might have a chance of catching the words to translate them, "Mimi nina vizuri Heze, tu kufikiri." (I'm well Heze, just thinking.) It was the truth. He turned to listen to her mother once more, it seemed the meeting was due to come to an end, for now at least, but this new venture of their was far from over, there was much to do he was sure.... and he knew from experience that not all areas were as plentiful as they one they currently lived in... Haki simply hoped they would not live to regret their decision to move.
Eden smiled at Orion, noting the surprise, speaking next to his ear so only he heard. "I couldn't love you so much if I didn't think you were truely a good soul, as it is I love you more with every breath." Smiling remembering when they had met, he had thought she was a butterfly, that would be a pretty name for a girl especially if she had flutter wings similar to her fathers. "I'm going to tell mum to have her foal shower thing she talked about, it can be something happy before we all move and she will love to do it." Knowing her mother was eager to tell everyone the news.
Sonnet nodded. "Seeds as well, we will need seeds, they will keep till we decide on a new place to settle, though it will take time before we have a little farm again like we have now. But gather any seeds that are useful to us for the future, it will be simpler to do so now while in familiar territory." Looking at his mate, nodding that he was done, he had no idea if they would settle in a new area long term quickly, though part of him wanted to move sporadically, maybe they could move with the seasons or something.... Either way he was sure they kept on having skinwalker and kalona troubles because many knew where to find them they had stayed so long. Moving had risks and benifits.
Heze watched Haki still, nodding, looking to her mother again, for some reason she wished that they could be like so many of the other pairs around. Blusing a little at the thought if Haki as her mate, it was silly, he didn't look at her that way. "Ok, kwa muda mrefu kama wewe si huzuni." (Ok, as long as you are not sad.) Shuffling her hooves, flustered by her thoughts, not sure when she had started thinking of Haki in regards of mate instead of friend. Looking at Haki, wanting to tell him how glad she was of his friendship. "Wewe ni bora mume Haki mimi unaoweza kuhitajika." (You are the best mate (husband) Haki I could ever want.) Not realising her mistake as she was too busy trying to get all the words out, her inner thoughts coming straight out her mouth, she had ment to say friend not mate. "Mimi kuheshimiwa sana kujua wewe, asante Haki asante.." (I am very honoured to know you, thank you Haki, thank you..) Stumbling over the words a little, blushing from her thoughts, still unaware that she had said anythign wrong.

Haki spluttered at her words, he hadn't meant to, hadn't meant to draw unwanted attention there way... but her words... you are the best mate... mate... he had been asking her so many questions about mates in her herd and how they were selected, but by asking had he some how taken her as his mate? He wouldn't object, had sort of been wondering if he could.... but it seemed too fast, had happened without him even knowing, unless she had messed up the wording. Conscious that others may be looking now he tried to keep his voice down as he asked; "Unaweza kuona mimi kama mume wako?" (You see me as your mate (husband)?) No, that was the wrong way around it, if she had mixed up the word she wouldn't understand what he was trying to ask, but that meant switching to her language, the language that everyone around them could also speak. He held back the desire to blush as he asked, "Are you calling me.... mate?"
Chandra agreed with Sonnet, her tail swaying from side to side as she considered what seeds they could take, what should they take? Part of her wondered if they should take some Moonflower seeds, not because you could eat them but because they once held a dear part of the herd... but then again, they would also remind her father of her mother, the flower had originally been brought down for her after all. She would ask Sonnet later and see what he thought. Her attention was drawn away from Sonnet though at the little outburst from... Haki... that surprised her, the stallion was usually so quiet. She watched for a moment wondering what was being exchanged between the pair of them... but she was too far away to hear the words.Orion nuzzled Eden softly, glad that some of the attention was wandering elsewhere so he could sneak in some attention with his mate, his beautiful pregnant mate. "Thank you," he said honestly, never getting fed up of her kind words or endearment of love even as he worried if he was the right stallion for her, but in the end his butterfly had picked him, and he her. "I love you so much, that my heart hasn't belonged to me for a long time now." No, it belonged to Eden. And soon to their children too.
Alice nuzzled Jasper and smiled at Carlisle before getting up. "We should get started perhaps? It sounds as if there is a lot to do." She knew in her heart that Jasper would go to speak to Sonnet... even though she had grown to hate him fighting, they had done too much of it, seen too much of it... but it was needed, and she would not deny their group an extra set of hooves. Not now.
Sophia nodded up at her mother, a smile upon her face. Yes, they certainly did have lots to do... and they didn't know how much time to do it. "I'm sure Auva will help Grandpa gather healing herbs and seeds... so I will try and gather plants... quick rooting ones if possible." She might very well wear a sword like her father but Sophia was no fighter, no, she was much better at singing and dancing, the sword simply for show to stop most trying to attack her without reason.
Auva waited, at least until she saw some of the Cullens move... perhaps she should move too.. at least that was until her attention was caught by Haki and Heze... she tilted her head in curiousity wondering what the pair were talking about.
Heze went from purple through several shades of purple into a decidely pink colour. She had said that to Haki?! Oh her stupid head, she had been thinking so much on the possibility when he hadn't even so much as winked at her. "Rafiki!" (Friend!) Looking away from him, totally embarrassed now. "Hujawahi alinitazama kama kwamba, marafiki tu. Samahani, kichwa yangu ilikuwa nyingine mahali." (You have never looked at me like that, just friends. I'm sorry, my head was other place.) Taking a deep breath, trying to get rid of her so obvious blush, noticing her mother watching her, looking at her front hooves instead. "Sikuweza kueleza kuhusu waume kabla, hata sasa ni ngumu. Mila ni tofauti ng'ombe kwa familia ng'ombe, kwa familia." (I couldn't explain about husbands before, even now it is hard. Traditions are different herd to herd, family to family.) Finally looking at Haki again, still deeply embarrassed, her voice soft and unsure. "Sitaki huru urafiki wenu, tafadhali kusahau." (I don't want to loose your friendship, please forget.)
Eden smiled and planted a kiss on him. "I'm sorry as I've no idea what she will do when I do this.... But before that... know you are the keeper of my heart Orion, you are the one that makes it shine." Leaing over to her mother and whispering for her alone. "Mom if you want to have that shower, before we move is best, you can go ahead and do what you want to do." Pretty sure this included telling everyone about the pregnancy but she was ok with that.
Carlisle whispered to Alice. "Linger just a little longer as I think Renesme is about to explode with something or other." His tone amused, having made gis own observations about Eden of late, but having kept to himself as always, he was pleased but felt a pang of envy for her mate. Then again this would make him a great great grandfather, sighing to himself. "I'm gettign far too old."
Sonnet looked over at Heze as she said something quite loudly, not sure what it was but she looked totally embarrassed. Looking at Chandra. "Whats a rafiki?"

Chandra grinned a little, almost knowingly at her mate. "I have no idea... but I have a feeling it might be something do with mates or friends or something... " She nipped her manes mane, "It seems your little one is very flustered over something..." Considering she was talking in Haki's language she suspected that she was making the odd mistake as Haki often did in theirs, though she had to admit he was getting much better as of late... all those late night conversations with her daughter no doubt had helped. Sensing a change in conversation from the Cullens she tilted her head towards Eden.
Renesme looked at her daughter and beamed, possitively beamed with excitment. "Really? Oh oh!" She kissed her daughter, and again, and again, unable to contain it for a moment longer. Looking to her family, to her herd she decided she would get explict permission from Eden before revealing her news, though she suspected the quiet couple would be happy for her to tell everyone on their behalf. Leaning in she said, "Do you mind if I tell everyone? Or would you and Orion like to?"
Orion watched as Eden's mother kissed her and bubbled with obvious joy... did them having children mean so much to her?
Crown looked to her sister and smirked knowingly. He had already told Kyran but he kept it a secret from everyone else. He almost, almost felt sorry for her and the whirlwind that was their mother.
Haki looked at Heze for a moment, his heart pounding... friend, she had meant friend, of course she had... and why did he feel almost disappointed at that? Her words almost stung as she mentioned that he hadn't 'looked' at her that way, clearly she didn't notice that he rarely looked away from her, was always seeking her attention and company.... but she didn't have anything to compare his current actions to, did she? He gulped a little and looked around a little embarassed, this wasn't really the place to have this conversation but if they could manage it in his language he suspected they might get away with it.... "Niambie kwa uaminifu, ungependa mimi wa kuangalia wewe kama hayo?" (Tell me honestly, would you like me to look at you like that?) He looked away a little as he gained the courage to say his other words, the words he had been holding back for so long.... "Kwa sababu ... Napenda." (Because... I would like to).
He swiftly added, turning bright red with each word. "Kama unataka mimi kusahau, basi nami. Nina furaha kuwa rafiki yako kama itakuwa na maana mimi wanaweza kutumia muda pamoja nanyi." (Unless you want me to forget, then I will. I am happy being your friend if it means I can spend time with you.)
Sonnet glowered at Chandra. "I was just starting to like him too." She could probably see it was more bluster than not, he did like Haki, mostly... as much as you could like a stallion that you were sure was going to steal your daughter.... Sighing. "I need to go kiss your fathers hooves.... I put him through this and I should go and grovel." Following Chandras gaze over to the Cullen's, trying hard to ignore Heze and Haki and the jibberish he wishes he could understand.
Eden looked at Orion, then back to her mother and nodded. "Go ahead mum, you have wanted to for ages, tell everyone." Not that she wasn't excited, but her mother was very much the excited proud grandmother, besides she enjoyed this kind of thing so much more than the prospective parents did. Snuggling close to Orion, talking to him softly. "I will need to talk to Sonnet briefly about a place things can be left, I have ideas already to make traveling easy and shelter simple. I just need to see what we find first." Smiling at him, sure he would go with her to help find things, they could enjoy the walks together like they used to.
Kyran smiled secretly to himself, had they been staying he would ahve gone with Crown to see Sonnet, but as it was he flattened his ears sure that this was going to be shrill.
Heze went right back to being pink again just as she had started to calm down. Looking at Haki. "Ndiyo!" (Yes!) Taking a breath, speaking more softly, her eyes a little lowered as she talkes, glancing at him. "Ndiyo.. Mimi nataka wewe kuangalia yangu kama hiyo." (Yes.. I want you to look at me like that.) Shuffling her hoof, as she stumbles through the rest, her pronounciation a little off, and a few words hesitated over but she got it out. "Najua mila zetu ni tofauti, najua sisi ni kujifunza kuelewa na kuzungumza. Nilidhani walikuwa kwenda kuleta maua na mimi kwamba siku wakati mimi walisubiri kwa ajili yenu.b] (I know our traditions are different, I know we are learning to understand and talk. I hoped you were going to bring a flower to me that day when I waited for you.) Glancing around thme, feeling uncharateristically shy. "Mimi tu wanataka mambo haya kama unataka yao pia" (I only want these things if you want them too) Her gaze going back to his.

Chandra kissed her mate again, "You know you still like him." She said softly, chuckling softly as she watched everything unfold, so much was happening, so many 'secrets' and new developments.
Haki looked at Heze, a small smile crossing his lips despite everything. She wanted him as he wanted her? How silly that they had never found the words to tell each other so before... but then again, perhaps it was this slow growing friendship of theirs that had sparked such a want. "Mimi nataka." (I want it) he paused before adding, "Mimi nataka wewe." (I want you). He meant it, sure they had so much to work through as she pointed out.... but he hoped they could work through it. "Nipe muda ... Nami sasa wewe na maua anastahili wewe, Heze." (Give me time... I shall present you with a flower worthy of you, Heze.) He would do it properly, he would only do this once after all...
Renesme beamed brightly at the pair, she had certainly surprised herself by coming to love and care for Orion despite his kalona blood, her daughter had been right... you couldn't judge a book by it's cover, she was thankful that no evil Kalona had brained washed her as she had once feared. Clearing her throat she looked at everyone, "I have a small announcment to make everyone... despite the slightly sad news that things are changing and we are leaving..." She looked down at her daughter, "...we are also reminded of the happy things to remember, my daughter... and son... are expecting their first set of foals!" She giggled almost like a young filly again, "I would like you all to help me celebrate and hold a baby shower before we leave...." That was it, all she wanted to say.
Orion found himself burying his nose into Eden... it didn't matter what he simply found he couldn't, or rather really didn't want to, look at the rest of the herd as the news he was going to be a father was announced. It wasn't because he was ashamed, simply because he didn't do too well with group attention.
Sonnet just made grumbling noises. "Ok, so your right but if he ever makes her cry, so help me...." So he wasn't totally ok with her daughter havign a mate, and the fact that they weren't touching calmed him down some. After all didn't Haki have that whole permission thing about touch? Well whatever it was he would be fine till that started, especially if neither spoke to him or Chandra first. Giving Chandra a look, not angry more a puppy dog 'Why???' look. "Why did you have to go and tell her about the birds and the bee's, I'd have much more peace of mind if she didn't know anything about That!" Putting a heavy emphasis on the last word. Almost groaning as Renesme announced Eden's pregnancy, then deciding it might be a good thing for Heze to see that expecting foals is not all its cracked up to be.
Heze blushed deeply, only to be distracted by Renesme's announcement. Looking over at Eden, beaming happily, not sure if Haki understood but he could ask if he needed to. "Mimi ni katika haraka hakuna." (I am in no hurry.) Giving him a sweetly shy smile. "Wakati sisi ni tayari, nina uhakika utakuwa nipe maua. Yoyote maua kutoka kwenu itakuwa maalum." (When we are ready, I am sure you will give me a flower. Any flower from you would be special.) Shuffling a little more, putting a little more distance between them to remind her not to act on some of her impulses, her eyes warm and loving as she looks at him. "Mpaka basi, tunaweza kujifunza zaidi, mimi kujifunza njia yako, wewe kujifunza mgodi. Sisi kupata njia mwenyewe katikati." (Till then, we can learn more, I learn your ways, you learn mine. We find own way in the middle.)
Eden nuzzled into Orion as he hid, smiling and blushing a little, not liking being in the spotlight either, but better this than people working out for themselves. Holding her shy mate tightly.
Kyran looked down at his hooves then over at the other two stallions who looked equally awkward at this very family moment. Looking back at his hooves again.

Crown looked over at Kyran and bumped him with his shoulder playfully. He could tell he was feeling a little awkward. "We can go for a walk and come back in a little while if you want?" He said softly.
Haki looked up at the news and was pretty sure he had understood it correctly... someone was expecting, the daughter of the mare speaking... not that he knew that was, though from looking at the group it was probably the couple going rather red at the announcement. He was surprised to see it was the stallion with his nose buried in the mare and not the other way around, surely it was the stallions job to be strong and the back bone for his mare... not the other way around? Heze was right, there was so much he didn't know still about her and her ways. Turning back to look at Heze he said softly, "Pamoja. Sisi kujifunza pamoja." (Together. We can do it together.)
Chandra smiled at her mate, such a stallion's way of life. He was worried his daughters would grow up to fast, while Chandra wanted to make sure they were prepared for what the world might reveal and show to them... sometimes you just had to be prepared for things, and knowlegde was power. Especially in the that that Sonnet referred too. "She will be fine, she isn't a silly girl..." looking over at her daughter as everyone started cooing over Eden and Orion she found herself saying, "....plus, I think they still have things to work through, it will be a while before anything happens I think. Maybe when they start touching... then you will have something to worry about." She teased, not realising her words mimicked his very thoughts. "They are good children... have faith." With a giggle she kissed him again and looked at Eden once more, "It seems some joy has joined the sadness again. After the skinwalker attacks two mares fell pregnant, and now this... it seems our herd gets good news along with the bad. Don't you think?" Coincident it might be, but she liked to think it was fate.
Alice looked at Eden and Orion and giggled, similar to her own daughter. "I am to be a great-grandmother! Oh dear... now I do feel old." She chuckled more, it was such an exciting time and she hoped that Eden had a much better time than she had with her own pregnancy, thankfully Chandra had been there.... without her help she was sure that her babies would all have been lost, her own life for that matter. Yes, she owed everything to the star coloured mare that stood porudly before them, she reminded Alice very much of her father, a quiet power that was locked deep inside of her... and with her mate beside her the pair seemed invincible. She would follow them, gladly. "Congradulations my dear! What great news!" She turned to her own father and kissed him, "Seems you arrived just intime to see more foals appear!" Sometimes she worried about her father, worried he was lonely while they all had mates and children to keep them busy. She hoped that wasn't the case though... perhaps travelling would help him find the one that fitted him perfectly.
Jasper nodded roughly, "Congradulations." he was nervous for Orion, remembering all too clearly those dark days when he was convinced he would lose Alice forever.
Auva beamed brightly towards the couple, what happy news! She had a feeling she love foals being around the herd, her and her sisters had been the last set so she had never got to see any before.
Kyran nods, as they were not going to be staying it seemed a better idea to leave now, they could help out with some things before they left, but he would leave it to Crown to decide how much or little they would do, these were his family after all.
Heze chuckles softly, watching Orion, the shy stallion was lovably amusing. Wondering what Haki wild be like if they ever had foals... Shaking her head, dislodging that thought that was far, Far, FAR in the future, not to be thought about now. "Congratualtions." Adding her own well wishes to the couple. Looking over at Haki and smiling. "Pamoja." (Together.) Nodding at him, they would work things out togehter and find their own way.
Sonnet nodded as he looked back to Chandra. "Only one mare this time though." Silently hoping she was right, then agai nthigns didn't always go to plan, that he knew well, after all he had ment to ask Maion for his blessing to take Chandra as his mate before they had foals. Yes plans didn't always work out. "I trust Heze, shes never lied or hidden things from us, I just know that what we plan and what happens is not always a match. I'll hope thigns turn out as we all want them too... hows that?"
Eden looked around at her family, giving them a smile, part of her wanting to ask Alice what she sees, but then she also wanted it to be a surprise. Then again Alice would tell her if anything serious was going to happen she was sure of that. Looking at all their faces, glad they were all happy for her.
Carlisle nodded and smiled at Alice. "YOU feel old... heh...." Dry amusement in his tone, but that soon faded. "I wish I had been here for you when you had yours." Looking a little sad he had missed that part of her life, then again he had missed most of the important things with his family, but what was he to do, he had done what he had to so they would be safe, now.... Now he watched their happyness, he was happy for them but he was lonely, he would never tell Alice though, he had stopped looking for a mate, he had wandered a long while and found nothing, no one that made him feel wanted, needed, loved. But he had also never met anyone that sturred that in him, at least not in a romantic sense.

Haki fell silent then, simply watching and waiting. His heart was beating so fast in his chest that he was sure it would explode out of it at any moment, he was sure this was a dream... surely it was... why would a four winged angel want anything to do with him? It didn't make sense... still, he didn't plan on letting the opportunity slip away. His eyes wandered to Sonnet, her father, he would have to do this right....
"Yes, only one mare." She chuckled, suddenly wondering if more would happen before long...
Chandra nodded at Sonnet, "Yes, she can be trusted, I am sure she would come and tell us... well, me at least." She said softly, knowing all too well that Sonnet's girls knew exactly what their father was like in terms of stallions, out of the pair Chandra was far more likely to be happy, even help win Sonnet over and warm him up to the idea.
Alice kissed her father again, "I know. It's ok, I knew you would come back... I came to meet you. I am sure one day you will find someone." She had looked several times but each time she didn't see anything to do with a mare, not yet at least. She was tempted to look into the future for Eden's baskets, but she knew not everyone wanted to know... would Eden? Maybe she would peek later... she chuckled at the idea. Foals! How exciting. "So, for this party... shall we gather food and gifts for the new babies? Or just food since we are going to be travelling soon?"
Renesme sat back down and looked at her daughter with his shy mate, despite how uncomfortable he obviously was she was strangly proud of Orion for sticking with it and staying next to Eden. Yes, Eden had found a good life partner indeed. Answering Alice she said softly, "Hmmm.... perhaps just food, we can give the babies gifts later... unless you want to enlighten us all with the genders now?" She chirped, knowing that Alice had fortold the genders of her own breeding and Renesmes. Both having two boys and one girl.
Crown nodded at Kyran, "Yeah... come one." He stood up, bowing to the others slightly... his eyes settling on his mother before shifting to Eden... later, he would talk to them later, for now he would let them have their cheer and fun, they deserved that much. "We're going to go for a walk, shall pick up some stuff on the way if we see anything." An excuse mostly but he was sure they would collect anything that looked as if it might be useful as they went.
Kyran nods and looks at the other. "Its was nice to meet you all..." Not really having had chance to meet them but it seemed the polite thing to say and his father had drilled manners into him. Turning and following Crown for their walk.
Sonnet looked at his mate, shrugging, not sure what to expect but as it stood he didn't think any more mares would be getting pregnant just yet, but what did he know. "Ask Alice if you really want to know, but I have a feeling that this might be it this time around, jut one mare."
Carlisle gives Alice a smile, looking to Eden and then Renesme and the others. "I think Renesme wants to know whats on the horison. I'll admit I'm curious." Shaking his head, not deeply worried about knowing but there was always curiosity.
Eden blushes and nuzzles Orion. "Do you want to know what our baby will be? Alice can look into the future and tell us if we have a boy or a girl, or do you want to know the old fasioned way?"
Heze looked over at where Haki was looking, not sure what he was looking at her father for. "We should go, see about helping protect everyone." Looking at Haki again and giving him a smile before heading for her father.

Haki looked towards Heze as she spoke, nodding softly before standing up to join her. If protectors needed to go to see her father, then so be it. He hadn't realised he had been 'staring' moments before, still was oblivious to that fact as he joined her. "I shall follow..." Was all he said softly, doing just that.
Crown smiled reasurringly at Kryan, at least as much as he could give the situation they had just walked away from... he felt back, guessed that Sonnet was wondering why he wasn't going to speak with him... in part it was hurting to think he was 'abandoning' them... but he could be selfish and stubborn sometimes, and this he was being both... but he was happy to be so right now. He wanted this..... wanted Kyran, and despite reasurrances he felt as if to not go was to choice this over the guy, and right now he couldn't do that.
Chandra nodded at Crown before looking at Sonnet with a shot of concern, it was only there for a moment before it faded back to her more cheerful smile. A flash of emotion expressing just how shocked she was that Crown wasn't coming up to help, wasn't coming up to speak to her mate... perhaps he would later, perhaps he had his own path. Whatever he decided to do Chandra wished him the best, wished him all the happiness the world and the Moon could offer him. "I'm going to go talk with Eden and the others." She said, noticing that Heze and Haki had started to head there way, "It seems you have some work to do," she said with a teasing wink. After Drashi left all the training had fallen to Sonnet, now with Maion changing it seemed Sonnet was incharge of their scehdule and protection too. She had faith her partner could do it, and he would never be alone... he would always have her. Always.
Orion looked at Eden, "If you wish to know..." As if he could deny her anything.
Alice smiled, taking their exchange as a yes. She looked at her mate smiling as she allowed her mind to go blank, her stare blanked as she looked at a different time, a different place, a different now. A forest, beautiful, tall tree's all around. Birds chirping. A flash of blue. A dash of green. Boys. She saw three boys, all giggling and wobbling on their hooves as their parents watched them happily... silver eyes.... she saw Orion without his blindfold on. Blinking once. Twice. She came back to the here and now. With a shake of her head she giggled. "They are adorable!" She chirped, sometimes wishing she could share her visions with those around her... but they would all see soon enough. "Boys. Three boys."
Renesme, despite having wanted grandaughters squeeked with excitment. Children, no matter their flavour.... and boys... well, she would love them all the same, and would likely play with their hair and dress them up despite their gender... not that she thought they would appreciate that as they grew, but it would be fun at the time. "Awwww! Boys! How exciting. You will have your hooves-full with them! I bet they will be little trouble makers... just like you Eden." She said with a wink.
Eden looked at Alice, she had only thought to ask to know if the foals were healthy, but it seemed Alice was going to share more. Boys... THREE boys.... well at least they were healthy, Alice would have said if anything were wrong, right? Looking at Orion, kissing his neck, whispering softly for him alone to hear. "Sorry Orion, I know you wanted a little girl." Looking over at Alice and her mother. "I wasn't a trouble maker" Actually pouting at her mother for her teasing, lip wobbling a little.
Kyran followed Crown quietly, stay or go was totally Crowns choice as it wasn't Kyran's family that they were talking about. He had done all the reassuring he could that it didn't matter to him if they traveled now or later but Crown seemed to worry that it should be now, and so they would go.
Sonnet nodded, he did have some work to do, but unlike Maion he hadn't formed this group and learnt on fewer numbers, he also hadn't had the training like Drashi, so this would be a lesson and a half, he just hoped he didn't make any mistakes that caused someone else harm. Turning to Heze and Haki as they came up, having given Chan a little smile. Once they knew who they were working with they could see what strengths, weaknesses and experience everyone had and go from there. He might seemingly be in charge but that didn't mean advice was going to be ignored.
Heze wandered up to her father with Haki following. Blushing little that they were the first there, not sure what to say now that she had arrived.

Orion practically fainted at the news. Three. THREE? He was sure he was hyperventilating a little, even as Eden leaned in an sadly reminded him there wouldn't be a girl.... no.... he was the mast of boys it seemed. Three boys? Oh my! He looked up at her, trying to block out the world around them, block out the eyes looking at them with joy and admiration. Focus soley on her and the fact she was to make him a father of not one, not two but three sons! "It doesn't matter. Boy or Girl..... they will always be part of you." He hoped that was enough for Eden to understand how he felt. A blush covered his features and his eyes were wide behind his blindfold.
Chandra reached the small group surrounding Eden just in time to hear Alice's words.... three boys. With a happy giggle she wiggled excitedly. "Three boys! How nice! Afraid I can't offer any advice when they get here beyond what I know from watching you and your uncles....." She chuckled, it was strange saying uncles considering those two were younger than Eden and her brood, not by much but younger all the same. "We can work with it though, sure Sonnet will be pleased to have the extra hooves to help... when they grow at least." Chandra was a little worried about taking a pregnant mare with them, but she would never leave her behind either. Eyes of hawk, she would just have to watch her, make sure she didn't push it too hard... especially as her belly grew. With a wink she teased, "I thought it could be three."
Haki stood looking at Sonnet before bowing low, a flex of his claws. He hadn't used them too much as of late, not wanting to scare any of Heze's herd mates.... no one else had them here after all, he feared they wouldn't understand. "I am yours..... command as you wish." He said softly, hoping that he used the right words, he was getting better but most of his conversations with Heze as of later had been in his tongue since she had wanted to 'catch up' with his language skills. She was doing well, at least he thought so.
Alice giggled softly, "Boy's aren't so bad. They just like mud... they seem to be able to find it even in the dry season! And as you know my boys are mostly white... white and brown..." She chuckled, "...well, they were constantly having lake baths, let's just say that."
Renesme winked at her daughter as she emersed herself in stories of Eden and Crown and Paris's foalhood. She loved every moment, wouldn't change it for a thing. "Well... Crown would get himself into trouble, and you would get him out of it without seeking an adult.... little miss independant." She grinned, she wouldn't change her daughter despite how her daughter might feel at times.
Jasper looked around the group before kissing Alice and standing, "I shall speak with Sonnet. Enjoy yourselves." He eyes fell upon his father for a moment, he had faith the older stallion would look after them for him. Not that Jasper felt they were in danger here. Wandering to Sonnet he looked back several times, for his mate, he would fight once more. The sword on his rump jingled and jangled, a constant reminder of the war he fought in, a war that hadn't been his own... but this... this was his descision. Jasper had a mind for stategy too, perhaps such a skill would be of use to them, plus he had knowlegde of surviving in bleak conditions, after all he had guided Alice and Renesme here following Alice's visions.
He looked at the purple stallion, age wise Jasper was older, but that didn't matter, Jasper didn't want responsibility, didn't want to be tied to the herd in such a way.... but perhaps, he could make the guys life easier. "At your service, Sonnet."
Eden nuzzled Orion, tuning her family out for the moment, murmering softly to him. "I will give you a daughter one day Orion, I promise." Not sure why he wanted a girl but she would make sure he had one, she was not a mare that believed in many things, but she would pray for this, for Orion. Looking over at her mother again, still snuggled with her mate, not intending ot move as she was happy snuggled with him. "Yes well, it was often the more expedient way to do things. Besides..... Nevermind..." Looking away, her foalhood had not been all good things, one of the rare times she had been out with an adult had been when Maion was taken. Then again she had always left thigns unsaid, this time was no different, Orion was the only one other than Crown who she had opened up to of her own choosing, and even crown she couldn't talk about some things too.
Eden nodded to Chandra as she arrived, the mare had indeed said it could be three right at the begining. "If when they are grown they want to take that path then thats fine with me, as long as they do what they want in life and are happy..." Shrugging and glancing at her grandmother. "Well if thats what they do then so be it, I want them to go and play even if they come back as black as Orion is when they started out my colour." Looking at Orion again, she wanted their sons to be happy and to be well loved and have a fun happy foalhood full of games and play.
Sonnet looked from Heze to Haki, giving him a quick once over, claws to face, giving him a smile, silently damming the stallion for gradually making him like him when he was damn sure that he wanted his daughter. "Can you fight?" No one knowing what his past was, Kimi had done a number on him but if you didn't train for skinwalkers they could do that. Giving the other two stallions a small nod, dealing with them one at a time otherwise the conversation would get confusing.
Abloec wandered over to Sonnet as well, standing quietly while the young purple stallion sees what he has to work with.
Cael hovered, he was never much of a fighter, but he could if he needed to he supposed. Finding himself between one group and the other, not sure what ot do with himself.

Haki flinched a little at the 'inspection' and the 'question', he supposed it was bound to come, especially with how easily he had been shredded by a purewalker.... you would have thought he was more prepared for claws, but the moment of hesitation had left him lacking. He nodded sharply, wondering what if anything he should say... he didn't talk about it after all... still, part of him felt he needed to now, at least in part. He didn't know the word 'rebelled' in her language so instead he said, "I stood up for my people against bad leader.... we free now." He had lead a group against the 'norm', all the rebels gathering together to fight for what they believed in. Hakidonmuya didn't see himself as a hero or a leader, had only done it in fact because he had seen no other option at the time. That was behind him now, he wanted nothing to do with it, wanted nothing to do with any of that. With a gulp he said gruffly, "The dessert harsh."
Chandra smiled at the group, "That sounds familiar... Zaniah and Heze would often come back filthy, though in Heze's case it was from trying to sneek peeks at the protectors, poor girl would sit in bushes for hours at a time in awe." She chuckled softly at the memory, loving the uniqueness of all her girls. She wouldn't change them, each was precious and perfect in their own way. She looked around and noticed Cael stood on his own looking a little left out, "Excuse me." She said softly before making her way over to him. "Are you ok?" She asked softly as she approached, a smile of joy at seeing him again... and under far nicer circumstances than the last time... her original knight, not in a romantic way but in the fact that he had saved her. "What brought you this way? Not that the help isn't much appreciated, I am just curious." She said softly. It was a surprise to see him, and the green stallion too. Ablock? Ablue? She really couldn't remember the poor stallions name. Perhaps he would forgive her, she couldn't recall ever speaking with him, and she had been a teenager when last they met. A teenager with a crush.... she almost burst out laughing at the thought
Orion nodded at her, it would matter little to him if they never had a girl, but he was sure that Eden would be as good as her word. Precious. He still liked the name.
Jasper stood with the group, watching Sonnet and the clawed stallion carefully. He was indeed a strange creature.... but then again, the Angeni's were strange in their own way with their link to magic. He took a deep breath and sent forth his magic, calming all the tension in the air to one of happier tone. He used his ability rarely, but sometimes he believed that calm and composed was more productive that nervous and distraut, he didn't want to see anyone in such a state.
Renesme sort of guessed what her daughter had originally be about to say, Rene had always felt as if she owed Drashi so much for bringing them back safe, even if it had been on Maion's request it had been Drashi who did it, Drashi who had protected them while Maion sacrificed himself to a battle he couldn't win in order to buy them all time. She wouldn't talk about it though. No, never. Instead she said softly, "I hope you get one just as stubborn as you."
Alice allowed her eyes to wander towards Jasper, he looked so proud right now. She loved that. Loved him.
Sonnets eyes widened a moment as Haki spoke, he hadn't said the word but he had been in a rebellion, weather he had led it or not was more or less a moot point unless he wanted to lead again, but still it was somewhat impressive. Glancing from Haki to Heze and back, never having thanked the stallion for what he did, most would have flead Kimi in her rage, Haki had stood and faced her because he wouldn't betray Heze. Closing his eyes at the thought... Damn the stallion, he liked him, even respected him a little and should they decide they were to be mates Sonnet couldn't find it in him to say no... That aside he wouldn't make it easy on him, not too easy anyway. Nodding finally and looking at Haki again. "So I have heard." Glancing at Abloec, remembering stories of the desert when he was a foal, looking back to Haki, his voice a little gruff as his eyes flick to the scars again and back up to meet Haki's full on. "I never thanked you for what you did that day... So, thank you." With a nod he turned to Jasper, having heard stories about him, never havign seen them fight but rumour was that he had battled agaisnt the odds to save his family, and now he was willing to stand up again if needed. "Thank you."
Abloec looks at Haki stood next to him, his easy smile turning a little thoughtful as he hears the heavy accent of the stallion. "Kinachofanya jangwa nzuri ni kwamba mahali fulani ni vizuri ngozi." (What makes the desert beautiful is that somewhere it hides a well.) Having to think about what he was saying, this wasn't his mother tongue but it was one he had had to learn where he grew up. Feeling a flicker of hope for the first time in a long time that there might be a way for him to see his family again.
Heze blinked at the green stallion with the red eye coverings in surprise.
Cael looked at Chandra as she approached, smiling at her, giving a little bow. "Princess miss Chan" It still not seeming silly to call her that, after ll to him thats who she was. "I'm fine, just a little lost, I'm not a fighter but I could fight if needed, I was debating where to go, besides, foals are a a family celebration, not a time for strangers." Looking over at the group she had left. Smiling back at Chandra as his attention went back to her. "What do you think brought us?" Glancing up at the clouds for a moment, quirking a brow at her and smiling, having told her he read them for more than just weather. "Abloec and I decided that we would help our friends at this time of change. His adopted daughter is grown and mated now, Sonnet's sister is mated to his step grandson. As we live near Sonnets father we let them have the space.... Besides I think sometime son Abloec will try to find his own family again, he has no one depeding on him now, so its a good time to try before his daughter has any foals, he would hate to miss that." Shrugging as he focuses back from Ab to her. "As for me I'm the same as I ever was."
Eden nuzzled into Orion, feeling weepy again for no real reason, at least not one that wouldn't take a lot of explaining. "Oh dear, can you imagine one like me, their poor father would have usch trouble as we tried to out stubborn eachother."

Haki's attention darted between Sonnet and the green stallion. Surprise clearly littered his face to see hear his language from someone other than Heze. "Hakika, lakini mchanga wa muda ni milele kubadilika." (Indeed, but the sands of time are forever changing.) He said in responce, it was clear the stallion was a little rusty, some of his words jaggered and not quite right but Haki had enough practise with broken words to figure out what the guy was trying to say. Perhaps... just perhaps.... he wasn't completely alone in this new world he found himself in. His eyes turned to Heze then, she too seemed suprised at hearing his tongue from another. He took a step back though, rather than saying more, allowing the others to get closer to Sonnet.... especially at the apology. Haki didn't need it. He should have been faster. Stronger. Should have died. He owed them more than they owed him. "I thank you and your herd too.... without you..." His eyes turned to the large scares upon him. "...I would be dust." It took a long time to heal, but finally he was starting to feel strong again.Jasper looked at Sonnet and nodded, feeling little need to say more or do more. It didn't need to be said. He would stand up for his herd, for Sonnet and for Chandra, for his family and future grandchildren. It was the least he could do after everything that had been done for him.
Chandra giggled at the name, it brought back so many memories, and she had to admit she rather enjoyed it... she looked up at the clouds as he spoke, "Oh..." She said softly with a chuckle, she had forgotten that skill, but then again you did remember what you wanted to remember didn't you? They said that trauma victums often blocked out the bad parts in order to survive, their minds not able to process what had happened and stay sane. That wasn't why she forgot that slice of information, her mind had simply clung onto the memories that revolved around them making their way through the forest. Her eyes drifted over to Abloec - so that was it!- as Cael continued to speak. "I hope he finds them. I am sure if we can help we would, a thank you for the aid he offers us now." Her gaze turned back to Cael. "That you both offer us now. I am sorry you are feeling a little left out right now... but come... the gift of children is something everyone can enjoy, and to me... you are family too." It was true, she had always seen him as a dear friend, a brother. She looked to the ground though, growing serious for a moment, "I hope we don't have to fight....." The herd had been through so much, seen so much, she wanted them to have peace.
Renesme smiled at her daughter, "Probably.... I can see it now." A small giggle escaped her as she turned all business. "Come, let us start gathering..." She leaned down and kissed Eden. "If you're comfortable stay still." She knew how hard it was for her daughter to get comfortable these days and she wanted to make sure she made the most of it when she was.
Alice looked up at her daughter and smiled before getting to her hooves and nudging Sophia too. "Yes, let's go together. We can have a gossip and tease Sophia about this boy Kristan that she loves." She said with a playful wink, already planning to look into the future when she had a spare moment later.
Sophia cringed a little at her mothers words but nodded getting to her hooves. "Or maybe we can come up with names for Eden's boys instead!" She offered, hoping the distraction would be enough to save her a little. Unlikely, but worth a try.
Heze looked curiously at the green stallion, he looked nothing like Haki, so how did he know the language? Her gaze going to Haki then her father, not sure if his lack of speaking ot her yet was because he had known she would be here or if it was because he disapproved. She would wait quietly beside Haki and see.
Sonnet nodded to Haki. "We would have healed you anyway had we found you like that." Not wanting to get into a debate over it, but to his mind had any of them found Haki bleeding with Kimi trying to eat him they would have saved him, it was who they were. Haki had not had to stand up for people that had been all but strangers apart from one. Looking to Abloec and sighing, rolling his eyes, not sure what to say to the stallion. "I just hope you tell Addy where your running off too." Shaking his head and smiling a little.
Abloec smiles and shrugs. "I'll tell heer, ut shes occupied with her mate so wont be too much trouble missing me."
Cael gave Chan a hug. "With any luck we won't, its hard to upset the locals when you move from place to place, I think its only if you settle for a while you will have to worry about that. Now stop worrying about things out of your control" Smiling at her again and stepping back, not sure about meeting the others at this time but thne he necer was, he was jsut glad Hute was not around to tease him.
Eden nodded, very comfortable where she was. "Wasn't planning on moving anyway, but speal loudly, I'd like to join in with this gossip about my aunts boyfriend, sounds fun." Eden loved Sophita but her and Orion would choose the names for her children, not everyone else, besides the herd usually left it to the couples to name foals, they might toss ideas around sometimes but it was rare.
Carlisle shook his head and chuckled to himself, wandering up to Sonnet and standing beside Jasper. "I dislike violence, but will stand when needed." Looking at his son and giving a nod, he had fought for his family before, nothing had changed for him in that regard.
