Sahar looked around and wondered what types of plants. Maybe it liked to eat flowers? She doubted it, but there was no way to know without trying. "Flowers. Let's find him some flowers... And then some..." She scanned the area again. "Fruit. He might like fruit too."

The cub hummed as she continued looking for plants. She spotted on sticking out of the ground and went over to it. "What about this one?" she asked. She didn't know what it was but it was pretty. Even if the beetle wouldn't eat it, she could pick it and give it to the little jackal or take it back for someone in the pride.

Sahar ran over to see what Kakalina had found. "We can try that one if you want." She said. It was an awfully pretty little thing, it'd be kind of a waste for the beetle to eat it. However, it was this cubs beetle, Kakalina could decide on whatever she wanted to feed it. Sahar felt she had no right to say otherwords.

Kakalina debated over picking the pretty flower. She looked around to see if there was another one like it; then she could pick both, one for the beetle and one as a gift. She used her teeth and plucked the flower before putting it into the jar with the bug. She then ran over and plucked the flower that was similar to the one she gave the bug to eat.

Sahar troted over to the beetle and watch it eat. She was curious as to wether or not it would eat the flower. When it started munching on the stem she pressed her head on the ground and looked at it through the jar. "Huh. He likes flowers? And spiders like bugs..." She started thinking about how odd it was all the different things that bugs ate.

The cub grinned as well as she could with the second flower in her mouth. She watched as the beetle started to consume most of the section of the flower stem it had found. She laid her flower down next to the jar. "That should fill him up, right? Since he's so tiny?"

Sahar nodded. "He should be fine now." She was still as curious as a cub, watching insects do their thing; unaware of being watched. The fox turned and smiled at Kakalina. "He'll be easier to take care of than a spider."

When Sahar told her that the beetle would be fine now, Kakalina padded her paws against the ground excitedly. This was her first pet, even if it was a bug. She hoped her mother would allow her to keep it when they got it back to the pride. "He needs a name," the little cub stated and looked at the jar curiously, "and how will we get him back?"

Sahar thought about rolling him, but that would do no good. He'd just fall out. "I could carry the jar." She picked it up by the side with her teeth. "Ee? Tll be 'ine." She attempted to speak. She admitted she had a nice grip on the jar, it was unlikely to drop out of her mouth at all.

The cub's small green eyes widened when she watched the jackal pick the jar up with her teeth. She got a little concerned when the jar started to look unsteady.
"I could help?" she offered, thinking that she could take the other side of the jar. Though then she would have to try to carry her flower too or put it in the jar with the beetle. She would probably be able to do both if Sahar wanted help.

Sahar Nodded. Now, it denfintley wouldn't drop. And the beetle had no intention of fleeing. Perhapes Kakalina crushed it's wings? That wasn't all a bad thing though, now she could keep her pet for as long as it lived.
