Naano's face was red as well, but she didn't mind so much. The sun had dried her clothes by now, but her hair was still wet and giving off the sweet scent. She really enjoyed holding Ryan's hand. No, she loved it. Like....like she loved him.
Her heart pounded, she really wanted to tell him so. Ready to say it, she was cut off by a ringing. She was getting a call from Becca! They really hadn't seen each other in a while. Not even thinking about how she didn't know about Ayato or Ryan, she clicked the answer button.
"Hey Becca, haven't seen you in a while.". Her smile was present, but it was honestly mostly from her and Ryan's hand holding. Not to say that she wasn't excited to hear from her cousin; she was just only able to control her emotions around Ryan.

I find it amusing that you've opened up to Naano yet you still threatened anyone else that dares to touch you.Lulu said to Ryan. He rolled his eyes and noticed the name 'Becca'. He had tried to battle her, but they were stopped by that Lucario.
Oh s**t.
That Lucario.
Ryan frantically reminded Lulu about him. Wait isn't that Lucario linked with you? Does he know that we joined Cattivita? Ryan made sure to keep the fingers that were entwined with Naano's untense, he didn't want her to know that he was freaked out.
Lulu nodded slowly. I don't...I don't know if he knows but we ARE linked.

Naano shook the device, she couldn't hear Becca on the other line well. "Huh, Becca? Can you hear me?" "Bec-". Ryan's hand didn't tense, but it went slightly rigid. She side glanced at him, but kept silent. Instead, she squeezed his hand lightly while looking into his eyes. It was a hint that if he wanted to talk about it, she was there to listen. And if not? Then she supported him either way. She understood some of the things he did, not all, but some. And one of those things? On occasion, keeping things to yourself does help.
Returning to the watch, she scowled slightly. It's lack of good service aggravated her greatly.

Ryan found the clearing they had battled in previously. He released all of his Pokemon. "Lulu, you can stay here and eat with us if you want...we'll need a guard, anyways. Kira, Vampyre, you two can go hunt. Crow you'll be on guard." he started to set up a tent. He knew it was still morningish, but they didn't get much sleep...and what untimely camp out didn't have tents?
He then started to set up a fire. Ryan gathered stones and sticks and such, then rolled a few logs to sit in front of the fire. He looked at Naano. "Mind sending Blaziken out to start the fire?" he asked her.

She had lost the connection between her and Becca completely at this point. Ending the call, she would simply wait for her to return another.
Letting Beatrice out of her ball, she told her "Could you start the fire please?" The Pokemon nodded and lit the logs and twigs, allowing for a nice fire to grow. Naano allowed each of her Pokemon freedom, and they all settled around the fire except for Blaziken, who stood close to Naano as if she was her body guard. Sitting down on the log that was laid next to Ryan's, she slipped her shoes off and set them next to the fire. They were her only clothing items that didn't dry yet.
As her hair dried, it waved slightly and climbed down her shoulder like vines. Beatrice seemed to take interest in her blue locks, and began sifting through the strands. The action made Naano smile warmly, but made her wonder why this Pokemon was so attached to her already. Did she have a feminist outlook on life?
Producing a Peach from her bag, she hungrily bit into it. There was just something about this fruit that made her content with things. She looked up at the sky, it was so beautiful at this time of day. The clouds moved along the sky likes boats among the ocean, and she felt at peace. Her eyelids began to become heavy. Too lazy to walk herself to the tent, she slid herself down and pushed the log back a little so that she had room to nap. Taking out her grandfather's sweatshirt, she used it as a pillow. Yawning, she looked up at Ryan's questioning gaze "The tents too far away, and I'm much too lazy to do anything about it". This tent, was actually placed strategically right behind her...but the truth? Her last camping trip was with her grandfather, and they didn't use tents that time, just good old sleeping bags under the sky...
"Good night" she said, but then corrected herself "Or, good morning I suppose...well-". Eventually giving up, she simply smiled at him and closed her eyes, not expecting the nightmare that was going to gain entrance into her mind.

~~~~Naano's nightmare~~~~~
Once again her nightmare started off pleasantly. Her and Ryan had been walking along a road to who knows where, and the pair was holding hands. As usual, they walked in silence but it was a sweet calming silence. Deciding to break it, she gave him a little peck on the cheek "I love you" ]she said with a blushing smile.
He look at her and pushed her hand away roughly "Hah, love! You think I love you? Who could ever do that? Frankly, who would want to?". His laughter filled the air, and a look of malice spread across his face. "You're such an idiot! Look at you, letting yourself into two traps! Why do you think everybody leaves you?".
She had taken several steps back, and bumped into Ayato. Spinning around, he whispered 'My little butterfly girl'. Trying to run, she was stopped by Ryan's gaze. In a mocking tone, he mirrored her "I love you".

She sprung up into a sitting position, gasping for breath. Beatrice quickly jogged next to her and chattered in a concerned tone next to her. Naano covered her eyes with her left hand for a short time trying to block out the thoughts in her head. Lifting it up she pet her Blaziken on the head. "I'm fine, I'm...I'm fine.".
Still catching her breath, she tried to act normal and tried to divert her gaze from Ryan, she didn't know if he was sleeping or not, or if he was even still sitting near her, but she didn't want to take the chance of catching his eye. He was already concerned about her too much, and she didn't want to interrupt his happiness.
Her xtransiever began to ring, causing her to jump. Quickly picking it up, she saw Becca on the other line again. Putting on a tired smile, she waved "Look at that cute bunnery! Is that from the egg your dad gave you? Oh and it's a shiny! Congrats!". Hopefully her words weren't too hurried, masking her emotions was difficult.

Ryan had been conversing with Lulu and watched the fire. He was disappointed that Naano went to sleep so quickly. He opened up a bag of chips, some soda, some candy, and his little jar of pineberry jam and just started pigging out. Lulu sort of waltzed over and stole a few sour straws, and the two just sorta talked and laughed together.
Naano wasn't asleep for long. She woke up in a clear panic and immediately answered her ringing Xtransiever. On the small screen was the girl he had attempted to battle earlier and an oddly-colored Bunneary. Ryan, in between handfuls of chips, managed to utter out. "Tell her to come find us. I'm still on for a battle."
Lulu found it odd that he was on for anything involving other people.

Ryan's words came out slurred and choppily due to his stuffed face. His comedic appearance made her put on a natural smile. Though, at the mention of Ayato's name, Naano's face fell and she filled up with anger. "I don't want to be associated with the son of a b***h in that way." she said at the kissy face "He stole my Pokemon...." Naano didn't bother telling her to meet Ryan for the battle, she had probably heard him.
Not only anger, but fear gripped her heart. The bad dream wouldn't stop repeating itself in her head. All these emotions were battering inside of her head. She didn't know how much longer she'd be able to take this.
"Listen, we should meet up. Come to the Aviary as quick as you can, we're sitting in a small clearing with two tents set up and a campfire. We'll be easily visible." Finally able to put on an emotionless expression, she said goodbye and clicked off her Xtransciever.
Letting out a long sigh, she brought her knees up and rested her left elbow on it while laying her head in her hand.
Blaziken, once again worried, played with her hair causing the pineberry scent to travel around.

Ryan set aside his food and gave Lulu a look then moved to sit by Naano. He put his arm around her and looked at her, figuring he'd be unable to conceal his blushing at their contact anyways. "Hey...Um...are you okay?" he asked her.
Vampyre swooped into the camp, and Kira came soon after. Vampyre was chewing a Caterpie and Kira just had a bloody, shredded mess.

When Ryan put his arm around her, she had this sudden urge to tell him. She had too. Risking her nightmare happening wasn't an option.
Lifting her head up she placed her left hand upon his face and kissed him gently, whispering "I love you." . Her face was tinted red, but she didn't care.
Sure, she had said 'Love' when they kissed earlier, but she never spoke the words 'I love you'. "I wanted to tell you." A smile wavered on her face. Her heart was filled with love at this moment, but the fear from her scare still laid waste to her emotions.
With her hand still placed in his cheek, and their faces still close she continued to speak softly "And...I'm fine. Just a nightmare that's all. You can finish your food, sorry to disturb you."

Lulu was amused at the warm aura radiating off of both of the teenaged humans. She resisted laughing at the look on Ryan's face - she had never seen so many conflicted emotions in a guy. Her laughing stopped quickly when she realized why they were so conflicted.
Ryan erased the look on his face and leaned forward, only needing to do so a little, and he kissed Naano again. "I love you too."
He put his hand into her right hand and turned back towards the fire. He grabbed the necessary things for S'mores, figuring he didn't want to get into a long make-out session that Becca would walk into. He did this one-handed, though, refusing to let go of Naano's hand unless he felt her let go of his. "Let's make some more unhealthy food, I already finished my own junk food."

Relief flooded her face and the fear left her. So it was just a dream, nothing of the sort was going to happen. Eagerly taking the food, she placed it on her lap and used her free hand to grab a nearby stick. Managing to place the marshmallow on the stick, she heated it to the point where it was flaming and she blew it out. Then, she squished the hot fluffy substance between two graham crackers and some chocolate. Naano munched happily, allowing anything that was worrying her flow away.
As she finished, she picked up the bag she had filled with food and opened it up offering the contents to Ryan "Do you see anything enticing?". Her Pokemon wagged their tails hungrily at the bag, even though they had also already eaten. Dropping the bag down, she gave them some Pokefood and plenty of berries, and lifted the bag up for Ryan again.
His hand was warm against hers, and much larger. She was wary of Becca's future presence, explaining Ayato's actions wasn't something she was ready to do.

Ryan grabbed another can of soda from the bag that Naano had. He let go of her hand and managed to grab a small pocket knife from his own bottomless bag. "Here, watch this." he brought the knife up and stabbed the soda, and fluid exploded out on Ryan's face. He froze and then broke into a laugh.
Lulu started laughing from where she was as well, watching him try to lick it up from his own face.

The soda exploded in Ryan's face, and Naano laughed along with him. Still chuckling, she handed him a napkin and then realized he needed more. Retrieving a bundle of them, she was about to place them in his hands when she was suddenly pushed over by a shiny Bunnery "Oh Arceus!" She called out as she hit the ground. Beatrice immediately shot up next to her, growling at the small Pokemon and ready to attack "No, no Blaziken! It's fine" she said as Becca waved to her. Ryan was able to hold the weight of the other Pokemon and Naano blushed at her lack of strength.
Beatrice backed off slightly, but picked Naano up and placed her back on the ground standing up. "Blaziken...." ("Be wary child...")
Shadow, Mizu, and Fear shuffled back to Naano as well but not in a hostile manner to the shiny Pokemon. Her Umbreon sniffed at it, while Mizu pat Shadow's head to stay back. It wasn't a good idea to scare the poor thing. Fearow cawed loudly, but not in a threatening way. It was a simple 'hello'.
