Tenacity finished off her coffee and threw the cup in the trash, reaching for another coffee cup. Well it was free. She'd been taught never to waste free opportunities!
"Ah- Tenacity. Yours?" she asked succinctly, politely nodding. A few more ghouls and boils had joined her around the coffee table and it was getting rather crowded. "Ah ... I can come back when you're less busy," she offered.

Bea was delighted and hugged Gene in return. She didn't know her ghouly ghoul liked to roast and brew coffee! When Gene handed her a cup of The Lady's Lake coffee, she couldn't help but giggle a bit. "That sounds delicious-" she smiled before nudging an elbow at her ghostly friend, "-and I'm not saying that because I'm bias either." Bea laughed again. It wasn't a moment later before she was excited and took a deep whiff, letting the aroma fill her nostrils. It smelled good. She took a sip. It tasted good too! "Mmmmmm" Bea hugged the mug with both her hands, wrapping her fingers for warmth, "Gene! This. IS. Delicious!" She looked over to the table to look at more of the cute little coffee bean plushies. "Thank you for the coffee and the mug, sweetie. Do you mind if I take one of these little beans too? They are too precious." Thought she'd ask before taking one. There was one more thing that caught her eye as well. Were those... Her buttons? Bea didn't remember anyone stopping by her booth as of yet, but the thought of her friend supporting her warmed her soul more than the yummy coffee did. She couldn't stop smiling. "Hehe."

There was coffee around. A few months ago, Taima wouldn't have known or cared, but between classes and clubs and ill-fated field trips, she had quickly developed a taste for it. The alternative was to sleep more, and who had time for that? Not this ghoul. She had learned to love coffee, less for the taste and more for the kick, which she would need if she hoped to see all the things and play all the games and still have time to do all the homework. That was why she made a beeline for the booth from which the familiar and heavenly scent was coming from, dodging around other students and ignoring other stands.
Taima stopped dead in her tracks when she finally found it, giving the booth itself and the ghoul running it the barest fraction of her attention--the rest was reserved for the steaming, fragrant cups of liquid energy on display. She approached the booth almost reverently, looking over each offered cup before reaching out and selecting the Demon blend. She took a hesitant sip--and decided it tasted pretty good! "Great coffee!" Taima said to the ghoul running the booth. "I'll definitely be back later." She snagged a small slice of coffee cake before wandering off to see what the other booths had to offer.

Not only had it taken forever to set up her own booth, the exercise left her exhausted. It was really hard to lug around full sized dress forms all by one's lonesome, and it was equally hard to do it multiple times. Plus there was all the running around to get supplies, actually setting the booth up and... Well, now she was just whining to herself. But, the witch did know that there was one thing that would fix this: Friendship! Friendship with a heavy dose of coffee. So she followed her nose until she found the booth that could only belong to one ghoul. "Geeeenneeeee!!!" Belladonna called with a frantically waving hand to the ghoul running the booth. Maybe they had left on semi-alright terms and even though they hadn't spoken in between the shopping trip, the witch still had unresolved issues with the ghoul. Not that she was going to start with those of course. Coffee first! Each the bags on the table looked super yummy, but the witch was discerning and carefully read each label before she made her choice. After a moment of consideration, the witch couldn't help but choose The Undead. It had lavender! And she was a little nervous... "Oh my Hecate this is the best coffee I've ever had in my entire life, Gene did you make this? OH. Um, here?" The witch had guzzled the coffee, but managed to pluck out the small white ball before she swallowed it. With a laugh she offered it to the ghoul with a smile and a small, "So how have you been?"

Coffee hmm? There was a market in coffee for sure. It had grown pretty popular with a lot of the younger boils and ghouls. People always needed coffee. While sitting down pretending to read. When they feel like they need a little bit of an energy boost. Though why you'd want to hop up on caffeine Ravnos had no real clue. Still. Money was money. And this ghoul looked like she was in the market to start..well marketing. As he moved up towards the booth, he noticed a particularly familiar and busty ghoul. Bellmeena? Babarella? Eh, her name wasn't important really. Least not at the moment to him. He ignored her for the moment as he picked out Amity Trauma flavored to taste. As he sipped at it, he let the flavor roll over his tongue. Not bad but most certainly not the best flavor of coffee he had ever tasted. Perhaps he should of tried one of the other flavors. "Hey Ghoulie!" Nodding towards Gene while taking another sip with his elbow leaned against the booth, still unsure if he liked the taste or not. "If you ever need some marketing help or some....business boils to move this stuff for you feel free to look me up. Ravnos, by the way. And if a boil named Grendel comes by just ignore him if he gives you the same offer. He's bad for business." A slight smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. Yes, his boils were certainly business. More like the business end of a base ball bat. Lucky for them they had an amazing face man like him.

Yin looked around, noticing the cruel ghoul who had done so many horrible things to him, but tried to be polite by taking a cup. It smelled strongly of spices, and it was not until he took a sip that he realized what it was.
Coffee.
It was a pleasant flavor but he did not need to be exhausted all day. He quickly picked up a food item, realized it was not meat, and put it back down.
This was...not the right place for him. He was just going to walk away now.

"Oh, thank you! Take this!" Gene took the green ball from Edgar, and placed a brown paper sack in his hands. "No opening it until you get home!"
Turning back to Tenactiy, she offered the ghoul a bright smile. "Oh, I like your name! Mine's Genevieve! Call me Gene though." She fished around under the booth, and grabbed a mug for the cat ghoul. "And you're welcome to stay and chat, if you'd like. Have this mug, I'll just keep pouring coffee into it."
Attention switching to Bea now, Gene gave the ghoul a giddy laugh and smile. "I'm glad you like it! And yes, please take one! I've got a ton!" She filled Bea's mug again, eyeing the ghoul's campaign buttons. "Ah, yeah, I thought I'd show my support. Good luck!"
"Thank you!" Gene said to Taima before the ghoul left.
"Bella! Hi! Thank you!" She beamed at the ghoul, glad to see how many people were enjoying her coffee. "Yeah, I did! Home roasted and everything! Oh, and thanks! Here you go!" Gene took the white ball and pressed a token into the ghoul's hand with a cheery giggle. Oh this was too fun.
"Oh, hello Ravnos! Thank you!"
Gene say Yin out of the corner of her eye, and frowned. She just wanted to make him better...

"Oh, thank you!" Tess exclaimed, mostly for the token but then quickly added, "You have exceptional taste with coffee. Do you happen to have any blends with an almond-like taste?" she asked.

Thanatos had recently joined the Fright Night celebrations, his priority being to locate Gene's booth, seeing how he had already given her his word... Besides, part of him was looking forward to seeing - and tasting - what she had to offer.
"I see that you're pretty busy already, Gene... Are you sure that you can handle holding this booth up all by yourself?" He chuckled, raising an eyebrow as the ghost interact with the students at her booth. Unlike the last time they met, he had brought his familiar along with him this time, the large, heavy snake sitting on his shoulders, body partially coiled around his arms for support. She seemed enchanted by the new smells in the air, forked tongue flicking out of her mouth as she recognized the interesting scent as coffee.

Festivals and events were special occasions, she told herself as she moved on to another booth, despite having just eaten something that very likely was fattening. She just wanted more caffeine so badly, she hadn't stopped thinking about it since she'd left the booth. But that cowboil flavor.. it was so harsh. She had to try something a little sweeter, even if it meant..
Her stomach roiled at the thought, but she pushed on, choosing a flavor that sounded more her style. The Reaper! Mmm, orange and nutty. Nutty like her.
She tried it, and made a face. Definitely not as sweet as she'd expected.. but then again, she hadn't put any sugar or milk in the mix, like she'd seen others do. She refused to go that far. She put the cup down, and apologized for wasting the drink, before pulling herself away. Perhaps this had been a bad idea..

Oh, another cup of coffee? How generous! She took another sip and turned to face Gene again regarding the little bean.
"EEEE!" Bea squealed a bit before grabbing onto the little bean plushie. She picked it up and held onto tightly in her arm.
"Ah, I must be going. Great booth, Gene! I'm so proud of you being such a talented barista!" she gave the ghoul one last smile, "And thank you so much for the support!"
And with that she headed off to check out other booths.

"We've got the Reaper blend with Brazil nut, and the Downtown Transit with Hazelnut. No almonds though, sorry! Would you like to try one of the other two?" Her reply was hasty; she was getting rather swamped.Hearing the familiar voice of a dreadlock sporting Reaper made Gene smile, turning to give him a welcome. "Thanatos! Hi! Thanks for coming by! I can take care of it myself, no worries." She gave him an assured nod, noticing his snake familiar. What was her name again? "Who's your friend? Does she want a cup too?" "Oh...come back another time? I'm sorry those first two didn't work for you."Gene smiled at Bea, giving her a big thumbs up and called out after her. "Thanks, it means a lot!"

Soren walked by and saw a beverage. He really didn't care what it was, so long as it didn't taste like the lips of a student. He chose a darker brew, lifting it to his lips and tasting it. It was actually rather good, though a bit of carrot cake would probably have enhanced it a bit. He looked at the ghoul running the booth, not caring if she wanted him there or not. "Mine's over there." He gestured toward his booth. Support the horsemen advertising or whatever. Then he walked away. Carhop Cavalier A horseman drank her coffee.

Coffee? Acerium had never had coffee! It smelled great, it sounded great and the best part was... IT WAS MADE FROM PLANTS! How Excellent! "Oh gosh, they all look so delicious" Acerium squealed delightedly, "Its a tropical plant, isn't it, oooo I bet its all wonderful" She hovered over one of the blends before settling on Arels Brew. "From Alaska? But... Isn't the coffee plant a warm weather plant? Alaska is cold, right?" She said, surprised as she inhaled it a bit. Then... she drank it. "hmmm..." She thought for a moment. "Well its not my favorite, but... I'll come back later and try another one, okay? She smiled, "Oooo! and then maybe you wont be too busy to talk?" The ghost seemed nice enough!

A horseman drank her coffee. Ew. Yuck. She only had disdainful looks for him as he walked away.
"The humans have these things called UV lights and stuff to monitor a closed environment. That's all I know. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to take care of somethings. If you need help, Gideon will show you what to do." She pointed to the Nanar Squirrel and walked out of the booth, intent on checking out some more things.
Plus, she needed to not be hounded by tons of people.
