"D.. do... W-would it be..." he hesitated, looking up at her thoughtfully, "D-do sh-shifters ever v-visit her?" he thought for a moment longer, "O-or... Do they have to p-plead?"
He asked because curiousity had hatched in his mind. He really, really wanted to see this mother tree.
He wasn't sure about kids. He was just a kid himself... And he wasn't the best. Nor did he want to plead, really. If even he could.
But the thought of this enormous, beautiful, blue tree, a mother to an entire people... it intrigued him.
"M-mandala? Oh, uh... It... its a game where..." he started gesturing, "You take Stones and... and you move them from pocket to pocket in a wooden board... and you try to make sure that y-you have most of the stones at the end..." he paused, "I... I could bring my board and s-stones and show you... sometime?" He wouldn't mind talking to Briella again, even after he was released. After all, she wasn't that bad.
he took another drink of water.
"R-reshel... my mentor... says that it... its good practice for a mage..." he said, looking up. He couldn't tell what time it was here in the understory.

She thought about it. "Well I have heard of shifters coming with their mates who are Alkidike. I'm not sure if they could come alone though... I would think as long as they came with a good group of Alkidike's they would be safe. Some of my sisters aren't very fond of other races." Briella said the last part sadly. After meeting Biroki she realized that wasn't the case. She wasn't one of the sisters who really thought that, but until meeting him she didn't not think it either. "But if you came with like me, Dya and Maya no one would ever bother you. Maya is to fierce a warrior." she said nodding. She wasn't one yet, but she would be soon hopefully and then she would be someone that was respected as well.

As he explained his game she grew curious. "Yes please. It sounds very interesting. I can't promise I'll be good at it though." she said with a laugh. When he said it was good practice she nodded. "Well I'd love to play with you next time we see each other. Though I know I should be getting home soon. The others will be wondering where I have gone." she didn't want to worry Dya or Maya.

"S-so... I could..." suddenly, he felt like he was being... very wrong... "c-come with you? When you next go?"
That sounded nice. Even if people would be glaring at him, if this mother tree Aisha was as beautiful as Briella said it... she... was... Then it would be worth it.

He frowned a moment.
Didn't... Hadn't she wanted to see his skin turn color? Not that he minded. She wasn't bad to be around, but... he figured she was the sort of person you take in small doses.
"Sh-sure..." was she really letting him go? "I'll... bring it with me in case I r-run into you again..."

He managed a smile. It was easier now... but not as easy as it was to smile with Zuri, though. He took note of that.
"You should... y-you don't want your s-sisters to worry too much"

She smiled. "Well sure I guess. I mean we would have to talk to my close sisters about it. But I don't think they would object." Niebet would, but they would out number her. She wondered what the Elder would think... Oh well, she would figure it out then.

"Well, till next time Biroki. It was a pleasure meeting you." she said bowing her head formally. It wasn't until she was up in the trees on her way home that she realized she never got to see him change colors. She thought about going back to see, but he could have moved and she was scared to worry her sisters. "Next time..." she whispered to herself as she neared her home tree.
