Hansuke hadn’t been a trainer long, but already he knew what kind of Pokémon he wanted. He wanted something sturdy that could take a lot of hits in case Hansuke did something in a battle that was flawed. He was still a newbie when it came to taming and training Pokémon, so he needed to have some sort of leeway. He didn’t want to get something that would pass out after one blow. Izo on the other hand, wanted something strong and fast. The two had polar opposite ideas about what kind of Pokémon would be a good starter. “A-Ah, um, Izo, do you think we could find t-the Pokémon we want in the grass?” Hansuke was terribly nervous about catching his Pokémon, which showed in the fidgety posture he had as well as the stuttering.
Izo simply nodded as a response to him since most of the Pokémon that could be used on land were found in the grass anyways.
It didn’t take long before the two split up while in the tall grass. They agreed on meeting back at the entrance when this was all over. Hansuke was the first to spot a Pokémon he thought would be worthy as well. “A-A Pineco!” A lone Pineco that was gorging on berries turned around upon hearing Hansuke’s voice. It was a bit alarming to have the Pokémon staring ever so aggressively, almost as though it wanted to attack, but it was waiting for an opportunity. “I-I need to weaken it and then um, throw a uh, Pokeball at it.” As the Pokémon grew closer, Hansuke grew even more nervous. Without a moment of thinking, he picked up a rock and hurtled it at the Pokémon. The Pineco jumped back a little after being hit, almost as though it were shocked that Hansuke had thrown something at it. “O-Okay, um…” Hansuke looked around again and found another rock, this one the size of an average human’s head. Hansuke grabbed it with both hands and chunked it at the Pineco, hitting it square on and causing it to faint, or at least, it looked like it had fainted. “Erm, okay, go P-Pokeball!” Hansuke pulled a Pokeball from his pocket and tossed it at the Pineco, hoping to catch it.
Izo walked through his part of the forest and found a Zorua. ‘Looks like it will be somewhat useable.’ Izo held up a pokeball but decided to injure the Pokémon before he actually caught. He cautiously approached the Pokémon Zorua, watching it carefully as he did so. The Pokémon was so occupied gorging itself on berries that it didn’t even notice that Izo was getting closer and closer. Once Izo was within petting distance he lifted his leg and struck the poor Zorua like it was a soccer ball. The Zorua slammed into a tree before rolling down into the ground. ‘I guess a kick is considered a fighting type move.’ Izo looked at Zorua, who was knocked unconscious by the kick. Without a moment of hesitation, Izo tossed a Pokeball, hoping to catch his first Pokémon as well.

╚════════════════════╝ “...Why do you even bother you're going to lose...” "Thank you Professor i will..." Seth took his poke ball even though he had his own but he did not complain. He walked outside expecting nothing to happen...as he had thought by walking the entire refuge there was not a single pokemon in sight but suddenly...there was a loud rustle in a tree across from where he was standing "hmmm..." he had thought to himself and went to investigate the noise. When seth walked over to the tree a Pawniard had fallen out of the tree he then got up in attack position "Ohh little pokemon you wish to fight?" Seth obliged the pokemon and he took his sword out to fight and the two had Sword fought for what seemed to be hours. Finally both had stopped both seeming out of breath. Seth took the final blow with his sword knocking Pawniard out so Seth threw his personal Friend Ball at the pokemon hoping for the best "No matter what you were the best fight i have had in a long time..." ╚════════════════════╝ “...Why do you even bother you're going to lose...” Seth walked over to the green pokeball "Haha you put up a good fight little one...i think i will call you...Razor Edge...yes that name will suit you magnificently" Seth then picked up the pokeball and shrank it, putting it on one of his tassels, he then whispered to himself "you will be a good pokemon Razor...". Seth then walked out of the Refuge "Thank you Professor i appreciate what you have done for me" she said what she had too and Seth then bowed and left going to the next town with his new pokemon friend Location: Pokemon Refuge Pokemon:

OCC: ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Maria thanked the woman at the counter for the two green pokeballs as she entered into the zone. First thing she read from a small book on how to catch pokemon when without a pokemon was to bait them with berries. She looked around and found a tree with three to four normal berries. After climbing on a rock and picking them, she went to a small opening and placed the berries there to make it look like a speedy pokemon left them in their wake. As she sat in her hiding spot on a tree limb she watched to see if a pokemon would pick up on it. As she waited she noticed a Tepig in the bush and would love to have it if it would eat the berries. The pokemon walked into the clearing and sniffed the berries before it started munching on the berries. Before it could finish she threw one of the pokeballs at it. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ I stand among a mass number of those who wish for perfection. Though I will not name a soul, I will tell you perfection is unreachable. Striving for excellence is the most dedicated way to go, if you strive for perfection, you become something you aren't. If people will not take you for who you are then you must go your way and make a name for yourself not others.

"Yeah Kenta, that's a great name for you." she cheered as the pokeball shrank'd in her hand and she put it in the bag. She looked down at her old trap and noticed he only ate two of the four berries she placed so she bagged up the other two berries to use later. Satisfied she decided to take off with her new companion as she exited the zone. Party

“ Time is an illusion, lunchtime, doubly so.” Zaned smiled at the woman as he started to walk out to the zone. "So where do I begin to look?" He asked himself as began to walk through a small area of grass an trees. After searching and finding many Pokemon he was growing impatient that none of them were what he was looking for. "Ugh! this is so boring! Where is a good partner for me!" He yelled and smacked his head off of a tree he sat under. Thats when a small, in fact abnormally small spinarak lowered itself down just in front of his face. "Hello there little guy." Zane started smiling finally a pokemon he wanted. "Try and see if you like it in here." He took his pokeball and tapped it on the spinrak.

"Well, I don't want to hurt you but." He yelled a he threw the stick at the pokemon's web knocking it to the ground. "Spin!" It yelled as it ran towards him and crawling up his leg. "No no no no no no! down!" He yelled pushing it away. "Stop it now!" Zane yelled as he through a small rock at the pokemon. "please little man just stay in the ball!" He yelled as he threw his jacket over the pokemon this tim trying to trick it. "wait for it.... now!" He shouted as the pokemon got out and he through another pokeball.

After making her way into the back, she decided that she would go and visit the small lake that they had for some motivation. ‘I don’t know if I can do this or not… I’ve been in the Pokémon school for so long, that I almost forgot what it was like to actually have to catch a Pokémon on my own.’ Kohana sat down next to the lake and looked out over its blue beauty. It was so serene and peaceful, almost capable of shedding all of Kohana’s doubts. ‘It’s too bad that a Pokémon wouldn’t just come up to me instead me coming towards it.’ Kohana looked at the lake once more before standing up.
As she stood up, something caught her attention, it was a Buizel that was floating gently on the currents of the beautiful lake. ‘I would love to have a Buizel! But how do I get out into the lake to capture it? It’s practically in the middle of the lake.’ Kohana looked at the lake for the longest time, trying to figure out the best method for capturing the Pokémon. Ultimately, she decided to coax it towards the shore. ‘I have five Pecha Berries, that should be enough to get it interested in me.’ Kohana pulled several berries from her back-pack and waved them in the air. “Buizel, oh Buizel!” Kohana called and called until finally the Buizel noticed her yelling from the shoreline. Out of curiosity, the Buizel swam towards her, mainly to see why she was so adamant about getting its attention.
‘Okay, it’s coming to me, now I need to figure out how I’m going to get him inside of a pokeball.’ Kohana looked around the shore for a moment before noticing that she had the answer all along. ‘Of course, I have several pills that I use to help me get to sleep at night, I can put them inside of the berries and make the Buizel fall asleep.’ Kohana pulled a small baggie from the front pocket of her back-pack and pulled a small pill from it. ‘Hopefully the Buizel just thinks it’s a seed inside of the berry.’ Kohana shoved the pill into one of the berries and waited a few more seconds before the Buizel came to shore. Once it saw the berries, it cautiously made his way towards them, keeping an eye on Kohana while it did so. After making it to the berries, it began to gorge itself on the good stuff before drifting into a sleep. ‘It worked!’ Kohana tossed a pokeball at the Buizel, hoping to capture it.
