Hell, it's been Hell...but I might have found my Heaven. If she doesn't think I'm a monster... Calvin tugged gently on Riley's skateboard, just to see if she'd let him grab it, and he seemed relieved...or just happy...that she would. He remembered when she had almost swung because someone had kicked it over from where it'd been leaning against the lockers, at school. "You'd be surprised..." he said, about her books comment. Sliding out of his own side, the grey t-shirt and jeans unable to hide his own slender yet athletic physique...the short sleeves also revealed nice biceps...Calvin first tucked the skateboard under his arm as he closed his own door and walked over to Riley, but after a few steps next to her he winked and placed it over his shoulders, edge up sideways, and rested his wrists loosely on the edge like the skateboard was a much longer stick or pole. Walking closely to Riley, Calvin went ahead and gave her a slight nudge with his hips, a content smile on his face. A thought crossed his mind, stilling his expression into an almost quietly pissed expression, Calvin's eyes tightening before he shook his head...and banished the thought, that if anything else happened to get him hurt, that his eyes would go weird and he'd need his glasses. Maybe, later, if the beginning of their first "date" didn't just go to hell. Then he could get away with it, since the sun would be setting and right in everybody's face. "So, I've seen how you skate into class, but I wouldn't mind just watching you do stunts, tricks or whatever, either," Calvin told Riley, head to the side even as he looked at her. He seemed unaware of the fact some of the regulars were there, and were calling out to them...although Calvin blushed at a particularly ah, suggestive, yell and stumbled. The skateboard slipped, and Calvin moved it back to his side away from Riley, seeming puzzled as another tomboy seemed disappointed, since the "pose" before had helped emphasize Calvin's muscles underneath the shirt. He pretty much fit in...well, a piercing would have helped, or maybe a beanie...but otherwise seemed ready to join this part of Riley's world. Riley hooked her thumbs in the front of her skinny jean pockets. Leaning slightly against the car as she waited for Calvin, a casual position she was usually in. When he came to her side, she couldn't help but look and take in his very toned body. Her eyes roamed from his head all the way down to his toes. She blushed and softly cleared her throat before pushing herself off the car.
She smirked at his "Skater boy" look and tucked her hands in her back pockets. She smiled as he bumped her, and playfully bumped him back. She was quite comfortable around him... Much more than she has been with others, even the jocks. Oh would you? She asked him. Hearing the yells, she nervously rubbed the back of her neck before she rolled her shoulders. She stopped walking once they came to what could look like a empty curved pool with hills.
She turned to Calvin and smiled. Let me show you then. She said then kissed him on the lips. As she did so she easily slipped the skateboard from him and pulled back with a charming smile. She took a few steps back, then dropped her board and ran, jumping on the zip lining down the side below. Wearing her black vans, they were very comfortable and easy to skate in. She pushed her foot against the pavement and ended up on the other side. She came up to it then turned backwards. Holding herself up with one hand planted on the edge, holding her board against her feet in the air then slid back down. Jumping up on to a railing she grinded along it then jumped and flipped her board landing perfectly. Following, was a few Olleys, 360s, half rails; etc. All of which were done in an expert manner.

Hell, it's been Hell...but I might have found my Heaven. If she doesn't think I'm a monster... Shrugging, Calvin nodded with a smile; he was really cool about admitting he didn't know things. "Whyever not? Show me how it's done, works for me," he stated calmly, blushing a little that Riley had actually bumped him back. But it was a happy blush. When Riley kissed him, Calvin seemed startled and tensed, but he relaxed and moved his lips against Riley's, eyes closed and lips opening. But not for tongue, just to give a soft warm hush of breath against her own mouth. Almost like letting her taste him, without that last step...a possible invasion, if Riley didn't want it. "Hey, that's not fair...!" Calvin teased, laughing as the skateboard was taken from his perilously loosening grip. Still sounding amused as he chuckled to himself, Calvin watched with a happy...and yes, he admitted, territorial and possessive...expression on his face as Riley really got into it. He stayed off in a corner, watching, leaning against the chain linked fence around the area with his hands loosely in his normal pockets. He only looked away once, to let his parents know he was hanging out and so might be a little late for dinner, before keeping his eyes on Riley. He whistled, clapped and laughed at the stunts, eyes keeping watch and being very attentive...maybe he COULD do it, too? Hmmm, he would have to look into buying a pair of skates, or a skateboard...maybe make one? Make one with Riley...yeah, that'd be fun, and make it special. He'd suggest it, on their way back. Riley was well aware of the whistles and clapping coming from Calvin. This was what she loved most. Being able to do multiple tricks on her skateboard. It was just so fun. She wondered if Calvin WOULD be able to do it. She thought he probably could, he was quite athletic after all. Riley went back to focusing and came up to a stair case. Zooming toward it she jumped over it and flipped her board 3 times before landing on it;laser flip. After she landed, edged her toe near the the under part of her board and flipped it in a helicopter position, landing again to do her last trick;Fake Beta Flip. She came up to the edge of the "pool" and bent down to gain a little more speed. She went up over the edge, her board spinning, then landed back down on perfect timing to go back down.; 720 Gazelle flip. Riley grinned, a relieved expression on her face as it had taken her a few years to perfect the trick. She sped along back over to Calvin, jumping up and landing in front of him. She hit the edge of her board with her foot, sending it upwards and catching it with her hand. She then started to walk to Calvin. Wanna try now? She asked him, her hair stayed blown a certain way due to her speed of skating.

Hell, it's been Hell...but I might have found my Heaven. If she doesn't think I'm a monster... Seeing Riley come right at him, Calvin took a few steps back from where he had moved around to see Riley's face better...see her concentration, the joy she seemed to feel. So when she practically appeared from almost nowhere right in front of him, Calvin stumbled backwards into a raised pole for grinding. He grunted and gave a comedic groan as he held his head, even though his flailing arms had caught his momentum so he skull didn't crack on the concrete. Barely. Laughing self-consciously at himself, hand at the back of his head, Calvin sat up and supported himself with a hand and looked at Riley above him. "Are you SURE I should get on that thing?" he asked, teasing her since he'd proven himself to be quite on the clumsy side...no matter how great a body he had. Stupid fuzzface bit my shoulder out... he grumbled to himself, thinking the higher metabolism that let him form muscles faster wasn't helpful right now...
Scrambling upwards, Calvin managed to support his lower legs and knees enough on the grind bar to give him a foundation. Springing up, Calvin took a stumbled step forwards to catch his balance, landing him right next to Riley. Right in front, maybe an inch away from her face, in fact. He gave her a kiss, made it slow and soft, slipping her skateboard from her hands as he did so. Pulling back with a smile she'd be able to feel, Calvin winked and laughed, taking a few half-serious jogging footsteps away before letting the skateboard down. Crouched, he took a step, wobbled a bit and worked on getting the feel of just moving straight on the board. There were some good-natured...and not so happily-meant...jokes and teases towards Calvin, but he concentrated and soon was zooming around on the skateboard. Someone zipped by, not paying attention, and Calvin twitched sideways in reaction...only to go zipping down the curvy pool imitating a quarter pipe. "Whaaaaa!" he yelped, crouching...and slowing down, arms in front of his face, up the other side to end in the middle.
Slowly straightening, he looked around, gave a sheepish expression as he ran a hand through his hair, and worked on just skating up and down the sides of the area, no fancy tricks...yet. He wanted to be a quick study...not look like some closet prodigy. He already had a feel of the board, and his balance...but Calvin wanted to still learn from Riley, keep hanging out with her. Going all super-athlete with his new "self", wouldn't be too terribly conducive for that. So he started slow...besides, Calvin REALLY didn't want to get hurt, either. A few spills and muttered words later...although no one would be close enough to tell if Calvin was cussing, which he wasn't...Calvin managed to do a simple pause at the edge before going down the other side. Using an arm to haul himself up, his feet and other hand were momentarily airborn as Calvin hopped over the edge, and landed on his feet, the skateboard in hand as he walked over to Riley. Pretending to be veeeery cautious as he handed it back to her...by the fingertips...Calvin laughed, open and deep with his baritone. "I don't think I'm brave enough to try any more, not without a LOOOOOT of padding...." he confessed with a smile, grinning at Riley at his joke. Riley shuddered as Calvin fell, making once again a movement to help him. He was quite clumsy.. Would he be alright doing this? She bit her lip, pulling back her hand. She smiled at him though. I have enough faith in you. She did have faith in him, but wondered if it was false. Calvin was athletic, but she wasn't quite sure if skateboarding was for him.
She abruptly moved her back foot to support herself as Calvin stumbled forward right in her face. She blushed, feeling his lips again on her's. Her eyes had closed and happily returned it. Though she felt the smile and realized what had just happened. She smirked, resting her hands on her hips. Stealing my tactics huh? She said with a smile. She watched him very cautiously though. Her eyes widened a bit when he went over the side.
She rushed to the edge and watched Calvin, wincing a few times from the times he would fall. She smiled, watching what looked like him cussing, maybe talking to himself. She was thinking before he was right in front of her. She took a few steps back to give him room, then grinned. Well that turned out better than I thought. Not too bad. She said with an approving and proud smile, then taking her board back. Their fingers brushing against each other as she tucked it under her arm. What'd you think of it?

Hell, it's been Hell...but I might have found my Heaven. If she doesn't think I'm a monster... Calvin made a big deal of thinking about Riley's question, making "Hrmm" and "Uhhh" sounds, a hand with fingers framing his chin as he looked around over their heads as he waited for the blush from the touch to fade. Some of the others stopped, waiting to hear Calvin's answer, make up their minds about him. Then he glanced at Riley, and looked exaggeratedly terrified. "It's s-s-scary!" His attempted horror was ruined by a laugh, a few people frowning before they realized he was playing. "It's fun...but a touch apprehensive while getting used to it," Calvin stated honestly, scratching at the back of his head. "I think I would like it better if I had protective gear...lots and lots of it. Henhhh..." Shrugging, Calvin took that step and smiled softly as he tapped Riley's nose. "You've never taken drama class, have you? If you had, then you'd know all the greatest took bits and pieces from others," he teased with a wink, whistling with his fingers locked together behind his head as he started to move to the outside to watch, if Riley wouldn't follow to head back to the car. Once he was a safe distance, Calvin spun fast enough he had a moment to balance on his heels, leaning forward slightly as he semi-shouted, "Besides, you stole mine first, kissing me unprepared!" Winking at her again, grinning since he was out of immediate reach, Calvin laughed.
He sat down on a bench, wincing slightly at sore muscles and skinned wounds from his falls, but content; it had been a good day, all things considering. Looking up, he saw that it had started to get dark, and slowly stood, walking around to get the kinks out so he could drive safely, keep Riley safe when he took her home so he'd be seen as a good person to her parents. Then they could do this again! Maybe... Riley glanced around them to see some of the other skaters had wanted to see what Calvin thought. She laughed softly, quite pretty like gently wind chimes. She nodded, seeing how he would think that. I have some old pads that probably wont fit you, but you could try'em. Maybe tomorrow we could come back and I'll bring them..? She drifted off the sentence, seeing if Calvin would oblige or not. Either way was fine. She scrunched her nose once he tapped it and smirked. Nope. Not much of a performing arts person. She said then started to walk towards him as he started walking back. She playfully rolled her eyes Not quite... Who kissed me from their car window earlier? She countered back with a grin.
She sat down beside him, her board leaning against the edge of it on it's side. You alright? She asked him, referring to his soon appearing bruises and scrapes from his falls. She looked around, noticing now too the sun was setting. She glanced back to look at Calvin as he was gone. She moved her attention up and saw him walking around the small area before them. She folded her hands in her lap and watched him curiously with dreamy dark eyes. Calvin was really cute. The scrapes, bruises, and his outfit gave him a true skater bad boy look. This made her smile with a small blush and looked down, hoping not to have Calvin catch her staring at him. She couldn't help it, he was, as most girls would call guys they liked, hot. A little more emphasis than guys would call a girl pretty. But it was true, Riley thought Calvin was hot but really cute in an innocent way as well.

"Exactly...what I was talking about," he teased back, returning to his comment that she copied him first; copied his sudden surprised kiss. Stretching his arms behind his neck and letting his shoulders pop, Calvin shook them out and moved to put his hand by Riley without coming too far into her personal space. "I'll be fine, trust me. Shall we get you home safely...?" he asked, tilting his head to the side slightly, hoping the darkening light helped hide the unconscious flaring of his nostrils as a breeze brought Riley's warmer...and therefore heavier...scent towards him. Taking a deep inhale, Calvin closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying the night, the cool air, Riley... Bad though, Calvin noticed as he looked around with a calm expression and his sight changed slightly. His long fingers locked between Riley's, a snug fit wrapped up her hand a bit. He tilted his head down to touch the top of the brunet's hair, and raised Riley's hand to lay a kiss on it. "Some ice cream sounds fine...my lady." He felt possessive, let Riley see that with his words and eyes, but gave her an encouraging squeeze back; he'd try not to be an a** about it. Then he chuckled, unlocking and opening the door for Riley, taking the board to lay it down on the floor of the backseat. "My treat, to thank you for the lesson...and the use of your gear." He laughed quietly to himself, touching Riley's knuckles to his cheek before gently letting her hand go so he could drive, happily humming along with the music playing where the CD had left off and tapping his fingers to the wheel. A bit more pensive on Calvin's part, but he was still relaxed, even as his eyes flicked around while he drove. Tilting his head to the side, Calvin wanted to make sure Riley was doing okay as well, and he threw her glances every now and then. He would smile if she met is eyes, but Calvin was still thinking, the silence growing heavy with what he wanted to say...but couldn't, quite. "So...I didn't know you liked classical. You seem more of a rocker girl, no offense meant," he hurriedly made sure to add, raising a hand to hide his face in, a quiet facepalm. Great, just great...yes, she said she's okay with being your girl, but talk like you've got a plus-sized Freudian slip, and she may change her mind.
