Hel stared back into Shun’s eye, looking for something. Her lips twisted. Going with a group against them, going alone…a lot of days now, it didn’t seem to matter, but Shun exemplified what she believed in. Don’t stop trying, don’t give up.
What could she do to help, if she couldn’t go with him?
She seemed to think about this for a moment, staring down at her feet before she snapped her head back up. “Alright.” She conceded, staring at the grim, her eyes a bit…brighter. “…I think punching something that fights back would be better preparation, ya?”

Shun expected her to continue asking him to allow her along. When she asked something else, he was a little surprised.
"That it would..." he said while standing up, "I believe it would be even moreso with weapons."
Yes. He meant taking it to the gym. Kickboxing in here wasn't going to be enough if he was going to be fighting another. He needed to go all out. Nevermind that he was already worn down.

“Agreed.” Hel replied, rocking back and then forth, propelling herself to her feet.
With something to pour herself into, she seemed eager. “And…” She seemed to be looking around the fitness room. “…I had an idea…” Hel paced the locker room, as if she was looking for something, and leapt towards a corner of the room when she found it. “Ah ha!” The ghoul came up to a large bin, and leaned into it, rifling through it, and made quite a commotion of noises until she pulled something out.
She held it up above her head, proudly. It was a large net used to hold balls, but could easily net herself or Shun within it.
“Training!”

Shun furrowed his brow while watching her rifle through the equipment. When she held up a net, he narrowed his eye at her. He could see what was going through her mind, but he had been caught in such a net before. And it wasn't the same.
"It's no use. The nets the hunters use are electrified or something. It drained my strength. Even trying to struggle to get out was difficult," he frowned.
Shaking his head, he just continued on out to head to the gym.

“No, no, it is of use.” Hel replied, and now ran after the grim, falling into step with him.
“Ya, it is not like their nets…but we could use this to work on your ability to dodge them at the least…just a fair warning, but I will be going at your blind spot. I will be going at it hard.”

"Fair enough. Though. One other request. Do not stop until I have been killed," Shun said seriously, "The hunters will have no mercy after all. They might not dissipate me necessarily but if I fall I'm likely as good as dead one way or another. It may give me some extra incentive to not ******** things up in this spar."

This is why Shun would always be Hel’s bro. When it came to battle, which was a big part of what made her as a being, and that would never change, he got it. It was faint, but the ghost of a grin pulled at her lips.
“Understood.”
