As Henrick walked away, she mused over what he said. Well...hopefully the men wouldn't be rude enough to do things that would make 'glass jaws' a bad thing.

After another moment, Dzaya realized something. These women probably weren't used to names like hers, long as they were. It might be easier if they used the shorter form of it, though normally that was only done by family...ah well, it was better then them tripping over her name.

"You both can call me Dzaya, if you prefer that to my full name."

Laurel and Eisul - Eisul wasn't all that strange of a name, but Laurel? It was certainly different from what she was used to...she also gave an absentminded shake of her head in response to the other womans question.

The golden haired blond groaned, "Okay then. We are just going to waste time." It was a statement, an un-happy statement. Laurel hated to not have something to do, and she loathed waiting. Patience was a virtue she would never have in great quantities or even in small amounts.

She leaned back on her heels and decided to study the other two women again, even if her intuitive skills were greatly poor in people watching. Laurel was a very physical woman and she couldn't understand another human's emotions by just watching him/her. So with her small skill she could see that this group would need a happier person, one who would try to stick their heads in her bosom.

Laurel was still quite angry about that incident. A soft sigh escaped her lips; she really needed something to do.

Nodding her agreement to what Laurel had just said, Eisul began to let her eyes sweep over the crowd. They had made room for them when it had been mentioned that they were part of Lotus. Did everyone know what Lotus was? She hadn't known it was real until they had contacted her, but maybe it was different in other parts of the world. Still... she liked to consider herself well informed since she kept contacts in many of the larger cities of the world, but then again maybe she had just not paid attention to whatever information that may have came through the grape vine.

Eisul fought an urge to tap her foot in impatience. She hated waiting on people if anything it was always the other way around which she was perfectly fine with.

Henrick yawns after a few moments. Goodness it's dull just waiting, waiting, waiting...at least he's not getting slapped. "So. Anyone for cards?" A pause. "No, I don't mean strip poker, I can see it in all your eyes!"

Hotaru hurried through the crowds, holding up her kimono a bit so that she could walk faster, scanning the people around her for what could be a hint that she was in the right area. She had never been to London before, and for that matter, she had never been so far from her homelands.
Determined not to show it, she was a bit nervous. London was a big place, and though she was given clear directions, she never had been very good at following them.
((Sorry, Ive been busy. I hope I am on par with everyone elses rping skills sweatdrop ))

((No worries at all, dear. WElcome, and I'm sure you'll be just great! heart ))

Oh, God in heaven. Another woman. Is this Lotus or the PMS club?

Henrick grins outwardly when he catches sight of another outlandish bit of garb. "Welcome, welcome, hello, miss! If you're one of Lotus's new recruits, you're in the right place!"

Card games? Well, at least there was one pasttime they had similar. Though honestly, she didn't play all that often...typically there were other things she did when she needed to waste time. If she was truthful, there hardly was ever 'free-time' : she always had something she could be doing.

As Henrick greeted another woman though, she glanced over and gave a quick one-over. Yet another one who wasn't a fighter, if that kimono was anything to go by...there was no way you move well enough in that. All the same, she went ahead and gave her typical greeting of a slight bow and her name.

As the Japanese woman reached the group, Eisul gave a short bow in greeting, her gown following her smoothly. She stood up straight with not a wrinkle in her hanbok and waited to hear the introduction of the new comer. She was blatanly trying to ignoring the little man now, he was just another possible punching bag for her once this was over. That is if the institution allowed it, but if it didn't, there are always loop holes.

((Hmm... just curious, but should we ignore the history behind our countries? Ex. The animosity between Korea and Japan? Sorry if I'm nit picking =_=;; ))

((No. If your character chooses to ignore the animosity, then that's grand, but if you think it will be interesting to play, someone hates someone's guts because of old loyalties. :3))

"Card games? Shouldn't we do something more important, like leave?" Laurel was getting sick of waiting and card games weren't really her forte. She wouldn't mind playing a relaxing game later, once they were out of London, out of Britain.

Thankfully, another woman came into the old man's sight before the blond chose to let Henrick know about her level of control. Maybe that woman would do the work for me, she thought while looking at the oddly clad woman.

Hotari bowed to each in return, a bright smile displayed across her face, glad to know that she was in the right place, and she also met several new people, which was a favorite thing to do, meeting new people that is....although being in the right place was great too.
" I am Kido Hotaru, but I am told the proper way to name myself here is Hotaru Kido." She gave a quick bow again, and glanced about the group.

"Hey, don't look 'it me. I couldn't contact Lotus e'en if I wanted to," Henrick notes. "He holds out his cards. "I can offer you cards. So, I offer cards." He grins, then looks to Hotaru.

"It's nice to meet you Miss Hotaru! Miss...Kido. Miss Hotaru?" he blinks. The sailor's clearly confused himself.

A blur of russet hair and red wool moved through the crowd. The boy was proud of himself; not only had he managed the get the scarf, but he'd gotten it brand new. He smugly wrapped it around his neck, where the red contrasted with the grubby gray of his frayed coat.

He slowed down. A strange group of people had just caught his eye. The boy wondered what they were doing in London- they just didn't belong. The women were dressed in various forms of strange clothing, and were clustered around an old sailor.

The boy moved closer. He didn't dare try the sailor; he looked like a local, and besides, he didn't look like he had much on him. His best bet was one of the women. Glancing around quickly, he tied his scarf around his waist under his coat to hide it and started walking towards the group, acting preoccupied. He quickly looked over to the small woman with large blue sleeves for a moment before focusing his eyes on the ground.

He was so close now. He kept his eyes on the ground as his stocky little body collided into hers.

Eisul saw a young boy near the Japanese woman from the side of her eyes. She thought of opening her mouth to say something but decided against it. If this woman was part of LOTUS she must be able to handle herself. She knew for a fact that appearances are decieving. So the Korean woman stood and continued to obseve unknowingly, nodding every once in awhile to what the sailor said.

Dzaya glanced over the boy who had run into 'Hotaru Kido', not really thinking too much about the kid. It was crowded around here, so it didn't seem out of the question for someone to run into them. And adding to that...she wasn't a city person, and had hardly ever been in cities. Thus, she didn't exactly possess that suspicion that city-dwellers had in such situations.

She thought about offering help to the two, but they looked like they could handle it.
