She laughed, rolling her eyes and shaking her head. What? He thought she'd never heard an I love you before? Cute. Shun had no idea. There was a grin on her face as she tugged at her hand to try and free herself again. The urge to go to her usual 'get the ******** away from me' tactic was present and rising. "Heartless? Oh, you wound me. If you think I'm heartless then you don't really have much experience in the world, do you?" She asked with deceptive sweetness, smiling up at the boy holding her. "Maybe I don't want loved ones. You said it yourself. Love is a weakness~. I mean, look at where it's gotten you. Who would want this?" She paused a moment, her eyes on Shun but not actually looking at the boy. The girl frowned and relaxed marginally in Shun's grasp, her eyes turning away as if looking to someone at her side. She shook her head quietly and then looked up at Shun once more.
Her eyes soon darted to Amrita hovering near the door. "And how are you feeling lately, hmm?"
Shun spoke again and her face softened once more. This time it was about weapons. "Who's the ignorant one now? You have no idea what you're talking about, boy." Her voice was quiet, shaking her head and sighing. He challenged her and she fell silent, just looking up at Shun with a small frown. Suddenly she leaned in as if she was going to kiss him...
Instead, her knee met with Shun's groin and she gave her hand a hard tug to try and free herself again.

Shun ignored Amrita's presence right now, especially since she wasn't speaking up. He narrowed his eye at her, as she began to speak.
"I don't regret falling in love with her," he whispered. Though, he looked hard at her once again as began to lean in towards him. Wait. What the ******** was she doing? He leaned back before he suddenly felt a knee hitting him in the groin. Letting out a grunt, he went down to his knees, doubling over.
"I.. know... enough..." he grimaced before summoning his daggers. ******** that hurt. But, gritting his teeth through his pain, he just tried to stab down into the foot of Candace.
He had enough of talk. He wanted to destroy her. She might have looked like Mitsu, but she was far from being his lycan.

Finally! She backed away, rubbing her wrist with a scowl. b*****d. Didn't he know how delicate she was? How thoughtless! When he stabbed her foot she hissed and clenched her jaw tightly, her shut and body tense. Don't cry. Don't scream. Deal with it. Deal with it...
She tried to kick at him with her uninjured foot and missed, falling flat on her a** with a grunt. This golem was not made for fighting. She doubt there'd ever be one that strong...

"Get the ******** out of that body," Shun hissed angrily, still feeling the lingering effects of getting kicked in the nuts. With a grimace, he just started to shadow step around the golem, striking here and there. He wasn't as effective as he would have liked. Pain between the legs and his general exhaustion kept him from attacking all too efficiently.

********! Not this again! The golem was almost helpless as Shun darted and vanished and reappeared all around her. ********! They really needed more battle-ready golems. Good lord! "And what then? Killing this body won't bring her back!" All she could manage was a weak kick.

"Letting you defile her form longer won't bring her back either," he hissed as he took the weak kick. The pain from before was ebbing now in the very least. Grimacing, he reached out to grab her roughly once more. It wasn't easy when he was still holding his daggers, but Shun wanted to make one thing clear, "I swear I will get her back."
Even if it meant dying in the process. Those were the unspoken words. That and he was going to try and make Candace's life miserable however possible.

"Swearing now? But there are ladies present~." She teased with a grin, managing not to wince as he grabbed at her. It hurt but not as badly as that last hit.

"She doesn't belong on that ******** island. And given the choice she will always choose me over a ******** like you," Shun practically snapped. He also refused to believe she was safe. He didn't like to believe anything the hunters said. Especially Candace.
"She never deserved to be snatched away from her home to be treated like some pet, prisoner, labrat, or whatever the ******** you are all doing to her right now," he hissed before moving to throw her to the ground.

She laughed. "Okay! I have to admit, ******** is a new one. Congratulations, Shun." The girl clapped, smirking and rolling her eyes. But she said nothing about Mitsu 'deserving' to be kidnapped, at least until Shun called her a pet. "Companion," She corrected calmly. "Someone's literal soulmate, if you will...I'd never let them experiment on her like some common labrat. Contrary to your belief I'm not some heartless monster who only wishes pain and agony upon everyone." She rolled her eyes until he moved to throw her on the ground.
The golem hit the ground hard and she finally winced, rubbing at the back of her head. There was a faint crack forming and growing across her abdomen, thankfully covered by the clothes she was wearing.

"And if she doesn't want that? She has 'companions' here. Friends. People who love her," he hissed. There she was claiming that she wouldn't let them experiment on Mitsu, but again, he was skeptical. It would be nice to believe that, but he had a hard time believing anything that came out of her mouth now.
While Candace was on the ground, Shun stood over her for a moment, glaring down.
"You act like you've done her a favor. I call ******** bullshit on that," he said lowly before trying to stab down into the body. It was probably a good thing that even when sparring Mitsu he never went easy, otherwise he might have had some trouble striking this form even.

"And now she'll have someone there who loves her more than anyone here ever has, or ever would." She grinned. She was lying through her teeth but Shun didn't have to know that. Let him think they had weaponized Mitsu. "And I did do her a favor~. She's very compliant and friendly, I was surprised to see that so willingly from her." She deftly rolled out of the way of the dagger and got back up on her feet, stumbling a bit and working to keep her balance. There were small, hairline cracks on her legs now, and one creeping up her throat from the crack that had formed under her clothes.

Shun froze for a moment there as Candace's words managed to do more than just sting him there. Though, he soon narrowed his eye at the hunter.
"Liar. No hunter could ever love her more," he hissed before he smacked her across the face with the back of his fist, "She'd die before becoming one of you!"
That was what he was keep telling himself. He refused to believe that Mitsu would willingly give herself to them. To willingly become a ******** abomination. She couldn't. She wouldn't. The mere idea that she would drove him mad.
"You don't know anything about her. You never will."

"Speaking ignorantly again~." She said gently with a soft smile. "If you could speak to them, you'd know they're happy this way. Just the other night my Atropos told me she loves me." A shrug. "You wouldn't understa--" He punched her and she stumbled back. His fist actually damaged her cheek, crumbling a bit like dried mud. She cursed, a hand raising to cover that cheek.
"Think what you like. I've spent a lot of time with her lately. I can guarantee the next time you see her she won't be the same girl." Her eyes narrowed.

"You hunters are the only ignorant ones, thinking you know what's best for us. She was happy with me. She wanted to spend her ******** life with me."
Shun stared hard as a bit of the golem seemed to chip away. But that last bit about guaranteeing that she won't be the same the next time he saw her was the last straw. The Reaper let out an uncharacteristic cry of rage before he plunged both daggers into the chest of the golem. He wasn't done there. He ripped the blades out roughly then slashed it across the throat.
