"I was good at getting into stuff," Adi asserted with a proud grin. Yes, the little werewolf had done a lot of running around and making trouble...trouble she didn't usually mean to cause, but trouble nonetheless.

"I do not doubt that. That is a skill that is rather universal to children." Xun Jiang let out a low chuckle, continuing to hand out pets to his current floox 'visitors'.
He had not been much better in his own youth - either of them, he was willing to bet. He could recognize the tone in Harmodius' voice as he had talked of the dragons kings, what seemed so long ago now.

"Elik too?" Adi asked, unable to resist. What kind of things had her boyfriend gotten into? He definitely would have been adorable, that was for sure - all night elf kids were!

"Oh, Elik too." Now that was downright entering blackmail territory. Too bad he did not have any pictures. Elik had been the most adorable child, of course. But then, all parents thought such thing about their children. "In fact, he might as well have invented the art." And that was not an understatement !

Adi giggled at the mental image that provided, a little monkey-Elik scrambling up tree-trunks and having to be dragged back down. "I did that a lot, too. Climbing trees, I mean. I fell pretty far once, and I think I almost gave Rio a heart attack."

"It seems to be a common trait in wild children." A little bit of teasing ? Well, of course. As if he would miss an opportunity to do in good company. "I figure that when you run out of things to explore on the ground level, the only direction you have left is up... or down, depending."
There was a mischevious glimmer in his eyes. "Of course, up is easier for some, I suppose."

The werewolf certainly didn't mind being referred to as a wild child - in fact, she rather liked it! Her smiling expression did turn a bit confused, though, as she tilted her head and blinked at the dragon. "Down? Where is there to go that's down?"
She had tried once, when she was little, to dig her way to whatever magical land must surely have been on the other side of, well, the ground, but that had obviously not worked.

"Oh, many places." At first, he did not elaborate - knowing it was likely to drive Adi crazy as tried to figure it out ! Hey, the young lady was his daughter-in-law, as far as he was concerned, and certainly not off-limits for teasing. "There are caves, of course. Some reach only the furthest bits down... Springs of pure waters hidden just barely out of eyesight, only waiting for the adventurous to find them." Part of his domain, really - the waters of the earth, the living waters.
"And there are bigger ones, that head downward, ever so downward, for what seems like forever... Like the caves the night elven druid sleep in." Perhaps more his brother's domain there, the deep underground. "Or more mysteries of the sort."

Adi's ears perked up, flicking forward attentively. "Are there any caves around here? I've never really been in one!"
Her explorations had been mostly above-ground, since...well, that was where plants and trees and things were!

"Hmmmm. There might be." He had not exactly looked, especially not lately. But it was indeed possible - he did not know every square inch of the area by heart, after all.
"Only way to find out is to go look, I figure." It would take a bit, as he was uncertain he could even shift like this - but all the more amusing, right ?

This was clearly a prime opening for an adventure, and adventures were some of Adi's favorite things...although, admtitedly, she had a lot of favorite things that sort of shuffled places on the ranking list depending on whim and situation. "Let's go look, then!" she decided. "And then I'll go and talk to Elik later, I promise."
But first: exploring!
