He was trying to figure what to make of you when we first got here." The trip back to Eglantine House did not seem nearly as long as getting to the temple had, since they had been talking the whole way.

"Of course, anything you need. I might not have all the answers, either, but I'll do my best." He hadn't had to explain to a child before that he was their parent, although he supposed he had done a variation of that when he explained the whole Alex-Rio thing to Adi and Kin. Still, it was very different.
