Grunblawu flicked his tail and looked down at Cian's hand in his and smiled. He was very thankful for that little comfort and he stroked the back of Cian's hand with his thumb. He looked up to Donovan as he was questioned. "I am a forester sir. I live on the outskirts of Dracul's lands. Though I do plan to move father into the woods and away from his land when I start a family." He was not going to mention that he both saved Fane's victims as well as got rid of the bodies. There was no need to bring that sort of thing up just now. He had not even told Cian why he would move when they had foals or when Cian moved in. "It is not a glamourous job but it does make a enough money to live comfortably."

Cian smiled at Grun lightly and squeezed his hand slightly.
Donovan paused, "Dracul? Fane Dracul? That isn't the safest place to be living." He frowned then, he'd heard that Fane was a notoriously violent stalliom.

Jacob let out a dry chuckled and shifted forward a bit more sizing Grun up with a new light. "A dangerous place to start a family. Will you move because you want to protect that family, or because you are afraid that you lack the strength to do so and would rather hide?" He ran a hand through his hair, his free hand snaking out to run a thin finger down Donovan's side and hip.

Grunblawu could not help but be a bit surprised that such stallions would know of Fane. Though form what Cian had told him of his fathers Grun really should not have been that surprised. He gave a nod to Donovan. "Yes sir Fane Dracul." He turned to look at Cian to see if maybe he knew of Fane as well. But then he turned to give his attention back to Jacob. "I would move to protect my family to keep them saver and avoid him directly harming them. I would give my life for my future family and if he ever hurt them I would kill him with out hesitation."

Cian looked at Grun and had to bite back the urge to pounce on his lover and take him on his parents living room floor.
Donovan smiled and nodded. "Well Grun, I have to say you have earned my approval."

Jacob bit his lip as he stared a hole in Grun before slowly smiling. "Cian seems to have done just fine with you. You're welcome to come around as long as it makes him happy."

Grunblawu could not help but smile at his lover with the look Cian gave him. He stood a bit taller knowing that he was doing Cian proud or at least he hoped he was. He watched the caress Jacob gave Donovan and smiled, "I am very glad to hear that Donovan sir. I am very grateful to you Jacob sir. I look forward to getting to know Cian family and getting to date him." he thought it might be too soon to ask about marrying their son just yet.

Jacob gave Donovan a look that the other knew only all to well as he stood up and swept out of the room, presumably to go back to his basement. It was clear that he was finished with the visit and felt that his mate was capable of handling any further interaction.
Faolan let out the breath he had been inadvertently holding and shook his head impressed at how things had turned out. He stood and clapped a hand on Cian's shoulder as he too excused himself from the room. "Congratulations Cian. That was spectacular. You found yourself a really good man, I hope it turns out well for you both." He turned to Grun and grinned before slipping from the room.

Grunblawu's ears flicked as he watched Jacob give his mate a look then walk out. Well it would seem that he had been accepted. Maybe he should have brought up marriage already and seen how it would go over.
He flicked his tail to the side and turned to Faolan as he stood and walked over to them. "Thank you. I plan to do everything in my power to keep your brother safe and happy. I intend to do so for the rest of my life as long as Cian will have me." He smiled at the pale stallion and watched him leave. It would see that Cian and he had done well.
