Doyle looked down at the pups when he heard the growling and whining. He watched them for a moment and decided that it wasn't anything serious yet. He was curious as to why his pup kept trying to get close to Erebos. "That's..... odd." Was all he could say about it.
Growlithe whined some more and kept trying to get to Erebos. Her eyes closed tight when a flash of light appeared. The light hurt her eyes. When she opened them she saw a bigger brown fluffy thing near her. She let out a yip and pulled hard to get free from the other pup and to get to Erebos. The strange noise the new creature made was super loud to her and she couldn't make sense of what it was saying.
Ansa popped out of her pokeball and immediately went after the pups. They would make wonderful bait for her traps! The humans would fall left and right over this bait. She quickly waddled up to the one that smelled the most like her new trainer and plucked the pup up with a soft 'doof'. She moved the pup and placed it on her back before focusing on the other one.

Genesis, following Doyle's line of sight, soon found out the meaning of his words.
"Maybe she likes him?" she suggested, although her tone was uncertain. She knew Erebos was capable of feeling, but he so rarely showed it that many had come to treat him more as a companionable stranger than a friend.
Poochyena was startled out of her grip when the Bidoof showed herself. She yelped to express her disapproval, but was quickly appeased simply from having something new to see and she watched the Bidoof with interest.
Erebos snapped his head towards Ansa when she appeared, remembering his battle with her. He had long been taught, however, that, once caught by a human, a Pokémon was no longer open to be attacked without direction. He had proved himself of being perfectly capable of following those orders when he ignored the two Bibarels on guard at the door, and he displayed that knowledge once more by turning away once he had ascertained that the Bidoof would not harm them again.

"I looks like she might." Doyle said frowning when Ansa popped out and picked up the Growlithe, "Ansa.... behave." He wasn't sure how the new Bidoof would act so he tossed out the reminder to behave.
Growlithe settled down some when the warm fur of Ansa touched her. She snuggled up against Ansa's neck tuff and soon drifted off to sleep.
Ansa looked at Erebos for a moment and then focused on the other pup. She stuck her face down near it and blew out her nose. "Bi bi doooofff." She was just making random noises in hopes of sounding comforting to lull the pup into a sense of security. Then she would snatch up the pup and go about making a trap!

Genesis started when Ansa suddenly appeared. It reminded her of her own Bibarel, but it was resting now and tucked in her room. Oh well! She could surprise Doyle with it later.
The noises were far from comforting to Poochyena. They were foreign, however, and she was all attention. At the very least, the Bidoof's efforts were in vain. Poochyena had never faced danger, and she had lost her caution some time ago when she had first approached the Growlithe.

Doyle shook his head as Growlithe settled on Ansa's back. It also didn't help that Ansa was trying to get the other pup too. "What is she planning...." He muttered.
Ansa looked at the pup intently for a moment. It didn't seem the noises had helped at all. Finally she just settled for grabbing the pup. She reached forward to grab the pup on her neck so she could set the pup on her back.

Poochyena, believing the motion to be a form of greeting, confidently went towards the outstretched paw. She soon regretted it, however, when she no longer felt anything solid under her paws, and she flailed in dismay.

Ansa nearly dropped the pup but somehow manage to plop the pup on her back. The motion made Growlithe wake up for a moment before settling back down. Then she was off wandering around the room going slowly so the pups wouldn't fall off.
Doyle shook his head as Ansa got both pups and began to wander around. It looked as though she was looking for something which didn't bode well. "Great. We may get to play chase Ansa to get the pups."

"At least she won't hurt them, right?" Genesis asked. She trusted Doyle and his Pokémon, but Ansa was newly acquired and not yet trained. It didn't seem like anything bad would happen, at least, and she didn't think it was dangerous enough for her to have a reason to follow the group between the throng of people. But just in case, she signaled for Erebos to keep an eye on them.
Poochyena, once settled, was no longer scared. She wagged her tail as she was taken to sight-see around the room and gave inquiring barks at those she passed.

"Uh.... I don't think so." Doyle replied. He still hasn't learned about Ansa's fondness of traps and thus couldn't clue in on what her search was about. He only had a feeling that the search didn't mean good things.
Ansa passed by several people with new pokemon as well as eggs. She didn't see any dirt patches and began to wonder what exactly she was on. What could they possibly be on that didn't have any dirt?! Focusing on finding something other than some nice dirt she took the pups to the far side of the room.

Poochyena wouldn't settle for just looking at others. It wasn't as fun as interacting would be, and she crouched down with her head as low as it could go, intent on searching for a good place to land. During her search, she accidentally kicked Growlithe with one of her hind paws.

Growlithe woke up from the kick. She looked around and then spotted Poochyena. She yelped and scrambled backwards sending her over Ansa's head. She fell to the ground with a thud and then a loud howl. Her bottom hurt considerably and she looked around trying to find Erebos or that human. But everything was fuzzy as she was too far away from those she knew.
Ansa paused as she felt Poochyena moved around on her back. She was starting to look back when an orange and black body went tumbling down off her head. She looked down at Growlithe and tilted her head considering the pup. Clearly this one was not good bait and would be too much work. She then began walking away leaving Growlithe sitting there.

The Growlithe wasn't alone for long. Believing the howl to be a challenge, Poochyena shortly joined her, landing in such a way that left her relatively unharmed.
She'd become restless for battle, and soon introduced herself with another tug at the Growlithe's ear.

Ansa stopped when the other pup jumped off. She looked at the pups and let out a little huff. She then turned to go find something to make a trap with. Then she would worry about baiting it.
Growlithe was not happy when the ear pulling began again. She began pulling and whining and howling some more. When Poochyena didn't let go she began to stop being so cowardly and began to grow angry. She finally lashed out using a Bite aiming for the tail area on the other pup.

Poochyena wasn't happy with the blow, but it stirred her blood. Excited with this dangerously play, she wuffed twice before swiping at the Growlithe. She was still getting used to locomotion, however, and, finding herself with only three feet focused on the ground, she soon tipped forward and fell flat on her face.

Growlithe wasn't happy either and her cowardice returned quickly. She soon began running away from Poochyena blind to where she was going. It helped that the other pup had fallen to the floor which gave her a head start. The head start was needed as she too was getting used to moving and thus was tripping over her paws. However she didn't have to run for long as a big dark shadow appeared.
Doyle had heard Growlithe and turned to see what was going on. He sighed as he saw Ansa abandon the pups and pulled out the Bidoof's pokeball. He recalled Ansa and then went after Growlithe. He reached her shortly after she started running away from Poochyena. He reached down and grabbed her. She soon calmed down and snuggled into his arms.
