Reaching the top of the tree, a slightly sweating Jet Kazama stood up on both feet at the top of a branch, using his tree climbing technique to do so. Finally, he had reached the top of the forest. After he got to the peak, Jet remained there, resting his warm hands on his head and looking over the beautiful but merciless display of the forest in front of him. While doing so, he began to think about Adell and how he was faring in this second round of the chuunin while the rain crashed lightly on his face. He had learned most, if not the majority of the hidden flame techniques as soon as he arrived, and he had more techniques than Jet. Versatility was certainly on his side. And while Jet wasn’t sure if luck was on Adell’s side, it didn’t seem to be on Jet’s side.

“What the F-“

The slime creature had not returned, but perhaps one of its friends took its place. It was most certainly a friend of Mother Nature’s if it wasn’t a friend of the slime monster. It was a giant hawk with ferocious claws, wings with a bad attitude to be the icing on the cake. The hawk reacted so quick, it must have been scoping out Kazama for the few moments that he was at the top. That small window where he was off of his guard he was violently snatched up from the tree, being taken to only the higher powers knew where. Who decided to make this day kill Kazama day? Jet tried to reach for his weapon but with no luck(as if he had any to begin with), and he couldn’t perform any jutsu since he was being thrashed continuously. The only option that Jet thought of this moment was to try and gather momentum to bring his upper body towards the hawk’s face and kick it as violently as the hawk thrashed him about.

And almost as if the hawk knew it was coming, it released its talons and flew away, looking for another meal for dinner that wasn’t so defensive. But since it released its talons, where was Jet? Why, mid air of course. He let out a scream as he was falling; with such a speed that landing on his feet somehow was out the way. It looked like he was going to be turned into a pancake if he was going to meet the bottom of the forest. How would he explain that to Marasol? But his fall came quicker than expected. Was it from the ground? No, it was from the leaves and branches that caught him. “Ugh…Okay…not going up to the top anytime soon.” He said in a painful tone, allowing his body to just say where it was but allow his head to rock back, looking up towards the heavens.

And that’s when he saw it.

He was stunned at first? Was this really it? “Please…” he begged as he went to grab it with his left arm. He was inches away from it but had to reposition himself. Bringing his upper body up, he tried another attempt at grabbing it. This time it was done with success! He immediately recognized it before touching it so it had to be his!

“Muah!”

He gave a peck to the fire scroll, unaware and apathetic on where it had been before it ended up in his hands. In his hands he had the key to become Chuunin; reaching the next step of shinobi. Was this in record time that someone had completed the exams, or at least capture the objective. “Now all I need to do…” he trailed, as his upper body laid back at the temporary bed of the branches and leaves. “…Is just get back to the girl…As soon as I catch my breath first…”

*snap*

With a loud roar, a raven black panther with glowing yellow eyes came barreling out of a bush, chasing after the Genin.

((OOC: Whoa, it seems like Lady luck decided to smile upon you today O.O))

As the cloaked figure left the panther behind, he would catch a glimpse of something wedged just in the bark of a tree. It was a colorful thing, but it was much more furry than that. If he looked closer, he would see that it was a rainbow colored feather. It was his item! All he had to go was geet it and return it to Milexy.

((Just rolling for the heck of it?))

On his trek back, he was being stalked by the panther. It would appear that he had not dealt with it as well as he had first thought. The panther hated things around it's neck, and therefor was out for revenge. As it stuck to the shadows, it continued to stalk him. Once it found an opening, it leaped out at him, claws extended, fangs barred and full intention to kill.

Meanwhile, Milexy was sitting on top of a table, simply munching on some dumpings. "Hmmmm. Surely someone has found their item by now."

The panther thought is was sneaky, well sneakier than many other people. The cloaked figure seemed to alway be open, or on guard, it was hard to tell from the massive cloak. As the panther took to its killing pounce, its jaws are meet with the hard metal of the hidden guantlet on his left arm. The man's gaze falls dead on the black beast, "Bad Kitty. I tried to be nice." His voice had fallen cold as his chakra build up inside till bursting forth as a silver aura. The force of the aura forming was enough to harmless blow the panther away, as well as the ground under the cloaked man. After blowing the panther away from him, the man flickered away before the beast had a chance to counter attack. Moving at super fasts, assisted by chakra, the claoked man easily finds his way back out of the forest. Flickering into sight just inside the gate of the forest, the man stepped out of the forest and made his way to the table with his proctor, Milexy, on it. He then withdraws the rainbow colored feather as he takes a seat, "Is this what you had sent me after?"

~ Rook 'Riichi' Ryuujin ~

Rook was venturing around the area, looking for any clues as to where his item may be. But instead, he ended up finding the ice scroll once again. It wasn't his item, and he kept finding it under the same damn bush. What was with this?

Adell Terumi

Adell walked on, his eyes constantly moving from the ground, to the forest floor, to the trees around an above. He listened for any sign of movement, knowing at least that it was best to avoid animals. He kept his eyes looking for something shiny.
