Yup! It was my 1st series too! I definatley don't like Cleon and Kel I like Kel and Dom better

My first series I read of her's. It's waht got me hooked. xd
I was really hoping for her to end up with someone, but it could have been done worse, i guess. sweatdrop O well, hopefully when she does another series she will show Kel with someone.

I agree, but I think that it should have been Kel and Cleon (which has no chance now) and I would kinda be sad to see her with anyone else...

I love fantasy books and this was thr first quartet of TP's i read. Im glad i did because it didnt spoil the story (if i had read the others first i wouldn't have liked this one as much).
im glad Kel didnt get together with Cleon but i would have liked her to get together with someone. still at least not everyone TP write about gets together with someone.

I like this series just because (until the last book) Kel is a normal girl. She's not like Alanna with the hand of the goddess on her and 'destined' to succeed. Kel shows a strength of character that I thought was awesome.

I agree with most of you that Dom and Kel should've gotten together! They would have been great.
I am a bit of a romantic so there were many times when I wanted to throw one of the books out of the window! Like when Cleon and Kel broke up and when Kel stopped likeing Neal... But all together the book was great. Mainly because Kel was kinda like a normal girl and we can relate to her better.
But it was a great series and I will probably end up reading it a bunch more times!
This is the fourth series I have read of Tamor Pierce's books and I love them all pretty much the same. Though the Immortals series was the first one I read I believe it was my favorite.

I did enjoy this book while it wasnt her normal style of writing with no ending romance and no magic within the main character (aside fromthe chamber of the ordeal talking with her). Over all it was good and i think a nice change of pace though personally i wouldn't have minded a romance myself. I liked it but i do think that she could come up with more for this character.

I love this series!!
I read all of TP's books in the right order. But, even though The Immortals was really great, I liked PofS so much more. I think because at the time I could connect with Kel more than I could with any of the other characters.
She was trying to find herself, as well as be something that no one thought she could be. Plus, she had extremely strong views, and I'm really a lot like that. It's still pretty much my favorite, except Beka Cooper is really sneaking her way in there!! haha.

I read all of the tortall universe books in order. So, I didn't have to deal with knowing something before I read how someone came together. In this series, I wanted Kel to fall in love with someone so badly, but the series was really good. So, I don't really care anymore.

These were good. Tamora only suggested at the end that Kel is interested in Dom, something more definite would have been nice :3

I've just finished, and my first reaction at the end was, "Why didn't Kel get with anyone?!" I don't support her and Cleon, but what I don't get is, why can Alanna still love George, even though they've been apart for a long periods of time whereas Kel can't? (I like Kel and Dom ^^)
