Shina drifted off to the side, out of the main crush of battlers. She didn't need to be right up close, and Annabell didn't need to be distracted by a trainer right on her heels. "Annabell, Thunder again!" Shina called.
Annabell started to gather energy for the attack, but was interrupted midway through by a random swipe of the Kangaskhan's tail. Annabell retreated to wait for a better shot.
"I think the Kangaskhan is starting to weaken!" cheered Charlotte. We'll be able to take this girl down in no time! Go ahead and bite her again, Glace!"
Complying heartily, Glace rushed up for another attack. He must have hit a sensitive spot as the opponent cried out in pain, but not without knocking Glace into the temple wall.

"Go on Pi' keep hitting it with Air Slash!" Armi called out while moving back a bit. Pi could take care of himself when he wanted to. Plus with the influx of people staying close to the battle would be nearly impossible.

The Mightyena jumped backwards after her attack, allowing all the others to weaken 'her' target.
"Anjali!" Leo called, "Bite again!"
The dark-type huffed. She didn't need his orders to tell her what to do, but she howled her acknowledgement before charging towards the Kangaskhan again, ready to attack it once more.

Mortimer was genuinely happy as he hobbled as fast as he could after Genesis, the pokeball that contained his new pokemon still in his pockets. Well, until he heard the other Kangaskhan.
Giving a feeble sigh, the elderly trainer looked towards his growlithe. Herbert looked up to him and gave a happy wuff, as he looked from his owner towards the giant pokemon.
"Herbert, attempt to take down that big halluga!"
The growlithe did just that, charging after his foe as fast as he possibly could.

Glace yelped in agreement and whipped up a ferocious icy storm. The blast hit the Kangaskhan, but unfortunately also enraged her enough to strike back even stronger.
"Whooaaaa...." Fin hadn't been expecting this. After all the Bidoof, and that stone coin, she'd thought they'd meet some sort of Bibarel chieftan. A Kangaskhan was completely out of the blue.
As she took it all in, Fin noted the huge Pokémon's conspicuously empty pouch – it seemed loose, as if recently vacated. But no baby nearby.... and she knew that look in the mother's eyes. She'd seen it in her dads', when she'd fallen and hurt herself, when she'd gotten lost, when she'd been menaced by a wild Ariados. My baby is in trouble, and I'm going to save her. That look.
And she and the others, everyone from the cruise, they were between the Kangaskhan and her baby. Fin didn't want to fight a frightened mother like this, but that seemed to be the only alternative to being stomped.

"Shiiiiit!" They hadn't even had a chance to prepare before the massive mama took a swipe at them, catching Caddie on the wing with a giant claw. The Delibird cheeped in distress as Fin dragged her away to regroup.

Erebos kept his distance now, and remained on guard for the Kangaskhan's attack, and the various Pokémon she swiped aside. It was evident that she was angry, and that this anger gave her strength, but it wouldn't last forever. She'd have to be brought down sooner or later and, to speed up the process, he used Stone Edge and directed the sharpened stones towards her.
