As the doors opened, a small breeze from the air escaping inside passed through the doorway. Koorie took a deep breath and pressed on into the next room. Miu walked beside her, on full alert and not ready to allow her trainer to take the fall for whatever may happen next.

A squawk erupted from Mortimer's lips at Doyle's reply. He shook his cane about in an attempt to show his superiority over the taller male, sputtering as he did so. "That is no way to treat your elders, young man!"
Huffing, the old trainer pointed at his growlithe with a shaky hand. "Herbert! Go attack that hooligan and show him what you're made of!"
Herbert barked in reply and practically pranced over to Doyle. Skidding to a stop, he started licking the young blonde all over.
"That's not what I----Oh nevermind." Mortimer sighed, exasperated and started tugging on Gen's sleeve. He'd have to get after that youngin' later, right now, they needed to hit the road before any other blasted puzzles came out. "C'mon, Missy. Let's follow the others. Don't want to get left behind now, do we?"

The elderly fellow stopped in mid step. It seemed as if he stepped on something. Upon further inspection, he picked up the shiny piece and placed it in one of his pockets. Who knew what it would be of use for.

Genesis craned her neck to see the offered picture, frowning when she saw the child bore no resemblance to her.
"She looks nothing like me!" she explained, once again trying to pry her arm free and follow the Vulpix's owner.

Doyle grabbed a mysterious coin before following everyone through the next couple of rooms. Hearing the old man speak to him he just lifted a brow. "And what makes you think I care about my elders?" He said. His eyes narrowed as the Growlithe was ordered to attack. However it only resulted in being licked. Having experience with a Arcanine he put a lot of disapproval and authority into his voice, "Down!"
Ark however was not happy about the other pokemon getting close to her trainer. She growled at him warning the growlithe off.

Doyle turned when he heard the call of a bidoof. "Ark get ready!" He called out. He looked to see how many there were in the room.

Seeing only two bidoof Doyle decided to take them both on at the same time. "Ark time to go! Use a Dark Pulse on both of them!" He called out.
When Doyle had first called out to Ark she leaped before Doyle and waited for his command. When it came she ran towards the Bidoof and sent out a horrible aura towards them.
Ark: 70/100 HP
Bidoof 1: 40/50 HP
Bidoof 2: 40/50 HP

Fay eyed the two Bidoofs and a smirk spread across her lips. "About time something interesting happened!" she grinned as she tossed a pokeball in the air, seeming to have made it disappear before it had a chance to land. Just a little magic show tricks she liked to do before every battle. "Alright Rumble, show them what you got, use earthquake!" she shouted, giving a slight pose.
Rumble grunted though a smirk was playing at his lips too as he charged a few paces forward and slammed his paws on the ground with all his might, the earth beneath the enemies beginning to shatter and quake.
Rumble: 55/100

Koorie wasn't far behind with her own orders for Miu for attacking. And boy did the little vulpix have some kick to her. With a growl, she lept into battle, her teeth gnashing and claws slashing as she tackled at both the Bidoof.

Before the attack:
Herbert: 100/100
Bidoof 1: 20/50
Bidoof 2: 0/50
Irritated, Mortimer let out a huff. "You look exactly like my darling Barbie because you're her! Stop it with the funny business," he demanded, shakily wiping off some sweat from his brow with the back of his free hand. Boy, he sure did sweat easily.
Herbert. complied to Doyle's demand and slowly laid down onto the cool floor while emitting a high pitched whine, his ears flat against his head. He rolled over onto his back at Ark's growl, front paws folded into his chest and attempted to give her the cutest puppy dog eyes that he could muster.
"You shouldn't listen to him too!" Mortimer yelled, furious. The old trainer shook his cane thrice at his pokemon's antics before taking a step or two over to the growlithe. "Come over here, now," thankfully, Herbert obeyed and scrambled to his feet. Quickly, he ran over to his owner's feet and sat there, looking up at the man with an apologetic expression, even though he had no clue what he did wrong.
Herbert's ears picked up when he heard the Bidoofs nearby and wagged his tail to and fro. The pokemon had a hard time resisting running up towards the two wild pokemon so much so, that he wiggled closer towards them. Thankfully Mortimer caught Herbert doing this and held onto the scruff of his neck with one of his bony hands.
When the elderly trainer noticed an opening to attack the two bidoofs, he released his hold on Herbert. The growlithe started making a dash for the still kicking wild pokemon as Mortimer called out an attack on the last Bidoof standing.
"Herbert, use flamethrower!"
The growlithe did just that. Opening his mouth, he sent a stream of fire in the bidoof's direction once he was in attack range.

Genesis gave up trying to explain herself when the Bidoof came. She remembered how they had been chased by a mob, and was glad to see only two remained in the room with them.
Erebos had been distracted up to this point. The event that had occurred on the ship bothered him, and demanded all of his attention. Even when Mortimer began to cling to his trainer as if for dear life, he made no move once he had ascertained the man meant no harm, and the Growlithe seemed too idiotic to do much.
But when the Bidoof appeared, he focused on the problem at hand. He had not been so far changed that the mere spark of battle would not force him to react, as it had done before. Quietly, he joined the others to leave his own mark on their enemies.
Erebos: 75/100 HP

 Your attacks were too much for the little bidoofs to handle, and they faint. If you want to try and catch one of the bidoof, throw a Pokeball! You must have a Pokeball in your inventory in order to try to catch it. If you catch this bidoof, you can no longer catch any more Pokemon in these random event battles. If you fail to catch the bidoof, your Pokeball goes back into your inventory. I will randomize between everyone who threw a Pokeball to see who captures it.

Doyle didn't think much when he saw the bidoofs go down. He naturally grabbed one of the pokeballs he found and tossed it at the bidoof. He could only hope that he could capture it..... and if so come up with a good 'A' name.
