Tess was beginning to feel that Nurse Cricket had purposely given her an easy exam because she wasn't having much difficulty finding the pendants.

Nearly missing those branches, Legs sorely wished she had her heels on. She'd skewer these things and skin them! But alas, she listened to her upper half and wore sensible shoes. AND SEE HOW THAT GOT HER? Angrily, the ghoul drop-kicked one of the foxes away.

The splinters dug into Legs' skin and part of her was glad she wasn't wearing her good stockings. But another part of her wished she was wearing something thicker as she scissorlocked her ankles around the treefox's middle and squeezed until it dissipated.

There it was! Just floating there. Which struck Tess as odd. Her hesitation cost her the opportunity to snag it as an ink-pet darted from out of nowhere and grabbed the piece.

Tess was close, so close! She quietly snuck up to the thieving ink-pet and suddenly swooped in to grab the pendant. Before the ink-pet could retaliate, Tess pulled the lever and flew through the open door.

Legs limped through the door and when she saw she was up against four of the biggest, ugliest, most repulsive wishing charms she had ever seen, the lower half knew when to throw in the proverbial towel.demon_pachabel Tess/Legs failed the exam

"Enough." Suddenly the shadowy creatures drew to a halt as Cricket's voice came calmly through the room, the Nurse opening the doors that would have come out from the two pathed challenge as she beckoned both halves outside back into the Gym.
"It seems as though you both made rather good progress." she noted, though there was no real hint of praise in her voice. Her emotional tethers were carefully held onto in that way, after all.
"Tell me, Tess. Do you believe that you would have found that last pendant if I had left you continue?" she inquired.
"I believe you would have, despite the fact you may have been left inside of the room by the fact that your legs were somewhat hard pressed by the rooms." she tilted her head a bit, as though pondering if that meant the challenge was particularly difficult or not.
"For that, I am giving you a half-pass. Which, at this year level, is all you need for you to become a third year." she continued.
"Congratulations." With that out of the way, she passed a look that was a bit more expressive between the pair. However, she didn't press anything immediately at that moment.
But it was obvious that she was holding onto a thought.Huni Pi You can post Tess/Legs for growth now! In a few IC days, Cricket may be sending Tess/Legs a notice to come see her again O_O (if you want to start that RP)
