"'The Turning of the Leaves Festival', you say? Forgive me but I have been traveling for quite a while and only recently returned to Ean. I can honestly say I have never indulged myself in festivities as a child so I would not remember it." Halliviere gave a downcast look, rather embarrassed not to know much about the celebrations of her own people.

╚══════════════╝ Seira studied her firiend, then smiled kindly. "Well, then that only means one thing!" Walking over to her friend, she placed both hands on her shoulders. "You'll be the one who places the light within the bud to make it bloom." She smiled, closing her eyes in the process. "It's the highest honor we give to one of our clanmembers, and your this years' lucky choosing!"
Glancing around her room once more, she felt a small pang of confusion. Without pausing, she thought aloud, "I wonder where my royal guards are...? I should have encountered at least one of the royal ones...but they're not here... Hmm..." Not realizing that she said that aloud, she turned back to her friend. "Hal, I think it's time we went down to the village..."

Halliviere's mouth made an "o" shape as she listened to Seira's declaration. Though inwardly, she was quite excited and very honored. She was just about to say so when the queen also mentioned the lack of guards. Halliviere opened and closed her mouth to speak a couple of times, but, in her confusion, words never formed. Instead, she nodded and turned to follow her friend.

╚══════════════╝ Exiting her ornate rooms, which seemed a lot less ornate than the rest of the castle, she quietly closed the doors behind her and her friend. Striding down the hallways, one could make out the entire Ean Royal family, with a picture of the current queen near her door. Turning a corner, Seira swiftly and expertly maneuvered herself through the jumble of bodies within the main room, servants, chefs, and maids were busing themselves with the celebration.
A few noticed the queen and quickly came over, bowing deeply. "Your Highness!!" They noticed Halliviere, but ignored her for now, their first priority being the queen. "Your Highness! All of the preparations are coming along nicely!!" One servant bowed, then turned slightly to her guest. "Welcome, honored guest of Queen Seira. We apologize that we are unable to do trully give you a warm welcome, what with all of the preparetions needed..." He bowed to her. "Please, forgive us."
A maid offered a tray of hot towels, but Seira politely shook her head no. "I'm worried about my royal guards... I haven't seen any around...and they should be here... Shouldn't they?" Glancing back at them, she saw them shrug, and bow in apology. She sighed quietly. "Thank you anyway." She smiled. "I know it's not easy preparing the celebration every year, but it is fun when it is ready." She bowed her head ever so slightly to her busy workers in gratitude and continued walking towards the main hall, where they had first entered, and away from the middle of the castle.
Once there, Seira sighed softly and turned back to Halliviere, smiling apologetically. "Sorry about the rush... I don't like the formality that they seem to demand, being their Queen and all. I'll be acting more like a Queen though, all right? I don't want anyone thinking of me as a child for the rest of the day..." She sighed softly hanging her head, but continuing to smile. "Though, admittedly, it was fun..." Raising her head, she smiled brightly at her friend. "Hal, let's go to the village. Not where the restaurant is, but the village that is further out... We were all over the town center today, and there was no sign of them... Do you agree?"

Falling in stride with the Queen was not all that hard as she maintained a regal stride. The hustle and bustle of servants, chefs and the like was quite the sight to behold for a quiet forest blacksmith like herself, but amusing none the less. When a few of the servants noticed Seira they stopped her for a greeting, Halliviere contently waiting until they were done.
When the servants addressed her, she bowed politely and countered with a dignified, "It is no trouble at all. I am honored to be present amongst the preparations for the festivities." Halliviere then turned her head towards Seira once more and nodded, as per her usual response. "I agree as well, it is rather entertaining to watch and I understand that you abide by the duties of a Queen. I would expect no less of Her Majesty. But, I also wonder about the guards. Where are they?" They had seen a few chasing Shadow, but beyond that... "You are right yet again. We should head out to the village."

Almas and Halliviere rushed into the stables--why they were rushing, they weren't sure, but it seemed more dramatic that way. Finding the guard's Bavarian Warmblood and hopped on it's back, then rode off towards the next castle.

╚══════════════╝ [[Enter from Faoil Royal Castle]] Seira pulled on the reins, causing her horse to skid to a stop. She was soaking wet, and so was her horse. Looking behind her, the clouds of the storm were off in the distance, but the rain reached farther than that, due to the fact that the wind was blowing it in their direction. She panted heavily, her eyes serious. Keeping her eyes on the foreboding clouds in the distance, she addressed the other two. "Hal, bring as many supplies as possible from your shop that need safe keeping to the castle. I'll give you a special suite you can use for your personal use, as well as can double as a small shop. Pass by your home as well and bring with you anything you need. Make sure that there is no possibility of flooding within the two areas, and try and board up the windows. We don't know what that wind can whip up."
She glanced at Almas, who seemed to be back to his professional demeanor. "Sir Ferrison, you are to take charge immediately. Command the soldiers to warn the villagers and, if there are any without a proper home, which is probably most of them, bring them over to the castle and send them to the kitchens. The stewardess will make accommodations for them. She knows what to do, especially in a storm this bad." Wheeling her horse around to face them, she glanced between the two, her expression serious. "Do you two have any questions? we have a limited amount of time before the rain arrives, and then we have to deal with the storm itself. Ask me anything now, so that we can hurry along and make sure everyone is safe."

They arrived mere moments after Seira and immediately began processing orders while a servant put their horse in the stall. "I understand, Seira. With my tools I can enforce barriers around different points in the kingdom walls. I will have it taken care of shortly. I ask that you take care of Rook until my work is done." With that she handed Rook over to Seira and spread her wings, ascending into the sky and off into the distance.
((Halliviere exit to blacksmith shop))
Almas watched Havi fly off, feeling only the slightest twinge of jealousy at teh loss of his own wings. However, he didn't have time for personal matters and took his orders in stride. "Understood, Your Highness. I shall have all of the men available to immediately round up villagers. Afterwards, we shall assist Ms. Valquien in setting relief barriers and storm breakers about the village and castle." He had no questions and immediately bowed before dashing off into the barracks. Asserting his new rank, he hailed all of the men and began towards the village.

╚══════════════╝ Seira watched for a few more moments as her two friends went their separate ways, and glanced at Rook, who sat on her shoulder. He glanced back at her with wide eyes. With a soft smile, she plucked the little kit off of her shoulder and ran into the castle, off to conduct her own business, so that when they returned, everything would be ready.
One of the servants was immediately there as they saw the doors burst open. "Your Highness!!" Her eyes widened when she saw that her beloved queen was dripping with water, but still running. "Your Highness! You're soaked! Please, you must change your attire before you get sick!"Seira paused, placing the little kit on the floor next to her. "There's no time for that now. There's a storm coming, and a terrible one at that. We need to prepare for many things." She began walking at a brisk pace, her clothes sticking to her body, outlining her figure more. She pushed that thought aside, not caring if she was improperly dressed. This was a dire situation, and it called for attention to detail, not what the queen is wearing and if it's fashionable. "Tell the Stewardess that we need to make accommodations for a suite on my floor." She paused. "Make that two. We have a new captain of the Guard, and he will be needing a place to stay. As for the second suite, it will need to be the largest one, apart from my own. Half of it will be more of a bedroom, while the rest will double as a shop for our guards and soldiers. It is the blacksmith, and she will be here until the storm ends."She kept walking, seeing all of her soldiers standing at attention. She entered the throne room, giving out commands. "Also tell the Stewardess to make accommodations on the staff level for all of the villagers that are unable to protect themselves from the oncoming storm." She now turned to one of the cooks that had come to see if she was hungry. "Tell the chef that we will be needing large dinner, as well as a small feast for the villagers to apologize for the inconvenience of abandoning their homes in a storm like this." The cook bowed and quickly left. The maid from before now approached her worriedly. "Your Highness, I really must implore you to change out of those wet clothes..." She jumped with fright as the she felt something n** at her ankles, and screamed as she saw Rook growling and jumping around her in a circle, threatening to n** at her ankles. With a sigh, Seira smiled wearily and nodded. "Very well, I will go to my room to change. However, if Hal and Sir Ferrison return, help them change their attire, and tell them that I will meet them back here, in the throne room, when all is done."
With that said, she began walking away, quickly calling over her shoulder, "Come on, Rook!" before disappearing around the corner. When Rook came bounding around the corner, she laughed at the cute little kit and began jogging, giggling to herself as he yipped happily and tried nipping at her ankles. They ran into her room and disappeared.

A loud commotion was heard as the guardsmen herded the stray villagers into the castle for the servants to guide them to safety. "Make sure that everyone is lead to the proper area! We don't need any casualties!" Almas strode in, proudly yet tiredly. He ordered that a complete roster of all of the villagers present be taken for their safety. He was in the middle of checking to make sure everything was in order as well as giving some of his men an order or two when a voice called out behind him. "The area around the forest is secure." Said voice was followed by the sound of scraping and dragging and huffing as Halliviere dragged the mountain of armor, weapons, tools and materials into the building. "Don't just stand there! Give the woman a hand," he said as he walked over to relieve some of his friend's burden.
"Sir, I believe I should inform you that there may be too many fit in the kitchen alone. We will be redirecting half of the group into the ballroom." Almas nodded, "I understand, Lieutenant. Carry on with it and make sure to bring me the roster. AND YOU BETTER BE QUICK ABOUT IT!!!" The robust man 'eeped' and scurried away in a fluster, deadset on not invoking his superior's wrath. "I see someone is liking his new position...I take it that was your old boss?" Almas merely smirked. "Well, while you are playing army boys like some giggle-happy child, I will be setting up shop...as soon as I figure out where." No sooner than those words left her mouth did a servant scurry towards them to lead them to their rooms. Not questioning it, Halliviere, Almas, and the guards carrying the rest of the blacksmith's things followed the woman.

Seira picked up Rook as she exited her room, her clothes now changed. She had given the little kit a bath, and he now smelled like many fragrant roses. His fur was super soft, and kind of poofy, having been hand dried by Seira herself. He looked quite pleased with himself, and lightly nipped at her fingers. Seira noticed that the two suites that she had ordered be taken care of, the doors were wide open. She smiled broadly and walked over, wondering if they'd recognize her in her more casual, yet form fitting attire. She decided to go into the second biggest suite, the one that she had given her blacksmith and best friend. She knocked lightly on the slightly ajar door. "Heeeellllooooo~? Anybody home~?" She called, peering curiously into the room.

Halliviere had just finished setting up shop, and, surprisingly...or not so surprisingly, she already had customers. Within the time span of one half hour she had already sold three swords, two glaives, a set of armor and now had a few things to forge and/or modify. 'Ah, this is the life. I now have some recognition and now, when my shop reopens, I will definitely be seeing some customers. Thank my lucky stars I have such a wonderful friend as Seira.' No sooner had she thought this had said friend entered the room. "Seira! Speak of the devil, or should I say angel, and she shall arrive! This is wonderful! I owe you a great deal! And Rook! You look lovely!" Rook yapped and wagged his tail exuberantly in reply.

☆═━┈┈━═☆ Seira giggled as she let the over excited Rook go and run over to his master, nipping at her ankles before jumping up into her arms. Giggling, Seira strolled over and hugged her friend lightly before stepping away, looking around at everything. "So, Hal! How's everything going? So far so good?"
