As if Lizzy wasn't bad enough in this, but Poke had to butt in as well. Shun paused as he looked down at the lycan, then gave the water dragon a bit of an annoyed look. "I don't plan on making her take Medea's offer," he hissed, "That's for her to decide when she's actually coherent. I will take it though. Just whatever extra fear Medea planned on giving, I aim to see if it could be redirected to her instead."Narrowing his eye at the dragon, he continued to speak firmly. "I've been training. Every. ********. Day. I've fought for what I've believed it. Gave it my ******** all. I've always gotten back up. And you know what that got me? Nothing," he said lowly while glaring at Poke, "Besides I doubt she'll simply give me power just like that. That isn't to say she won't show the way to it."

Shun's look of annoyance didn't phase Poke, though it was hard to listen to the reaper when she honesty thought he was making the wrong choice. There was to many if's and buts to this. How could he go through with such a far fetched idea? "But you're going to take her inside?" She narrowed her eyes. "And just gonna ask Medea to transfer the fear to Mitsu? What if she says no? What if she doesn't let either of you leave? What if she's lying?" The dragon then matched Shun's glare, trying to resist the urge to bare her teeth. "Thats funny, you tell me you're gotten nowhere, yet you've justs survived a full on assault with hunters, infiltrated their base, rescued everyone, and gotten back out and fought a few more on the way. Gee, that shows just how weak you are." She was starting to get getting frustrated. "Why are you so eager to trust her? I've seen demon contracts more legit then this!"

"She does... She..." Lizzy trailed off, looking surprised when Mitsu opened her eyes; it was good to see the werewolf conscious though, even if she was really out of it. When Mitsu lifted her hand in an attempt to touch her hair, the demoness let go of Shun to hold onto her hand, clasping it tightly before bringing it to lay on top of her head. She forced a smile and a laugh, guiding her hand to pet her hair; it was soft, but a little tangled up in some parts, "Isn't it? Don't try eating it though... When you're better, I'll get you cotton candy from that amusement park we went to on a double date. Promise. So you have to promise me that you'll get better, alright?"
She leaned in, standing on tiptoes to give Mitsu a gentle kiss on her forehead; to Lizzy, Mitsu was the only person who could save Shun... And she desperately hoped that she would find the willpower to do so, instead of following after Shun all the time.
"Kaitou probably doesn't approve of Mitsu, or Xiu, or the fact that you have people you can call friends," She pointed out, sighing softly as she listened to him, still cradling Mitsu's hand in her own, "It's because she loves you... But... If you take what Medea is offering, will that implicate Mitsu? I probably can't change your mind, but-" She stopped when a stranger joined them, and she listened quietly.
"Lizzy," She gestured to herself, looking at the new ghoul with eyes filled with mild curiosity; was she a friend of Mitsu's? It sounded that way, from the content of her words, "The name's Lizzy..." A pause followed as she almost winced at her words; if she knew Shun, she knew that he would never allow Mitsu to be put in danger. Not if he had a say in it.
"I'm sorry, but, uh, please-" She held onto Poke's arm with a free hand, the look she gave her was a sheepish one, but it was firm. If she had the soul of Mac, she would probably be asking the ghoul to go away. Sadly, she was too polite for that, "-Your words... Are spoken with too much carelessness. Shun would never do anything that would hurt Mitsu. Ever."
In fact, she had never heard of Shun causing Mitsu any form of hurt. He was a much better boilfriend than Mac ever was, actually. Food for thought.
"I... I understand. Shun. I've been through this cycle more times than you have. The pain of helplessness..." She paused again, letting go of Mitsu's hand, "Can we reach a compromise? Let's take Mitsu home. To familiar surroundings, people, pets. She probably need those right now... So let's take her to Nurse Cricket, give her some form of normalcy back... And when she's feeling better, when you can sit down with her for a heart-to-heart... And then, if you still want to accept Medea's offer, whatever that is, I'm sure she'll always be looking for new recruits for her revenge ploy. I won't stop you then..."

"Has Medea lied to us yet? I don't know if you've noticed but that last part regarding assaulting the hunters and s**t? She ******** made that possible. If it weren't for Medea, I wouldn't have Mitsu in my arms right <******** now," he hissed sharply. It seemed like Poke was starting to make him angry. What did she know?
"I also don't know if you hadn't noticed but I almost ******** died back in that lab."
It looked like he was just about to storm off, but Lizzy managed to kind of salvage some of the damage that had just been done. He looked down at the lycan, seemingly torn. He didn't want to let go of her right now. Not after he almost lost her. But Lizzy's words seem to resonate with him. Though, he soon realized that she meant for him to come back to Halloween with them too.
"How are you certain? This could be a one time deal."

The more Riyo walked to her destination, the more memories started to plague her. Each was like a bee, but in a group as big as a hive. They stung her, prodded her, swelled her brain up to the point where she had a wicked bad headache.
And there stood Medea, proud of their so-called victory. The feline's heels stopped as she stood and watched the horsemen eager to take out their pound of flesh on a few of the helpless hunters. Perhaps if things had not panned out as they did, the ghoul would gladly follow them. She would gladly go to the ends of the earth for more power and unstoppable FEAR...
But not with her. Not with this horsewoman. She had lead them to slaughter. Yes. Everything turned out fine in the end, but that did not mean such a thing had been intended.
The ghoul's ear twitched as she heard a voice trying to catch their attention. Her head turned to see... Oh. It was... s**t, what was his name again? Eh, didn't matter. It was a way back home. A place where she desperately wanted to be. Frankly, she wasn't eager to die again just yet.
Before she had the opportunity to step into the portal, however, familiar faces caught her attention. Lizzy, Poke, Shun.. Mitsu.
She wouldn't say anything to them. Leave the group to what seemed like a heated discussion. It was time for her to go.

"Medea didn't lie. I just have a feeling that she's not telling us the whole truth," Lizzy muttered, looking warily at the portal that the priestess had created, "I'm not certain, but she's not going to stop until she gets her revenge... And it probably doesn't come easy, nor will it happen for a while. She won't stop till the hunters are eradicated. She's even kidnapping the hunters from their home and friends, the same way the hunters kidnapped us... The road to getting revenge is long, and probably filled with... You know... Deaths, sacrifices, losses on both sides."
She sighed, briefly looking down at Mitsu before looking up at Shun again, "Mitsu needs you by her side as much as you need her to be safe, but looking at how..." Fragile. Broken. Out of sorts, "... How she is right now, she also needs familiarity in order to heal. That is more important than so-called extra Fear... You heard Professor QB right?" Her voice lowered, such that only Shun could hear - and maybe Poke too, if she listened close, "The action that generates the most Fear is not scaring. It's killing."
Again, it was guesswork at what Medea meant... However, they both knew that the horsemen were not above killing humans. It's in their culture. It's why Invictus only stood by and watched them kill Stacey.

Yes, she had nearly forgotten that part. Medea had helped them alot. She had made it possible. But she wasn't about to go worship the horsemen just for that. "But Why Did she help us?!" Poke spat back. Shun may be getting angry, but so was she. He was acting all high and mighty and potentially putting himself and mtisu in harms way.
"But you didn't die! You made it out!" She protested again, and would have kept going had Lizzy not placed a arm on her foreleg. She paused, looking at the ghoul as she introduced herself. "Poke". She replied, and appeared hurt when Lizzy accused her of not believing in Shun. Oh, so she was gonna take his side now. Just completely ignore everything she said and back him up.
"Thats...I wasn't saying he would do it intentionally..." She started, then saw how shun seemed to calm down at her words, and that angered her even more. She couldn't suppress the growl in her throat. It was so jacking obvious this was the wrong decision, but they weren't listening to her.
Jacking hell..don't blow up don't blow up don'tbluwupdon'tbluwupdon't upsetmitsudon'tdoittt She repeated over and over in her head. It took alot of self control on her part to keep her mouth shut and let Lizzy solve the situation. Well, kinda, he still wanted to go.
She turned the other way to focus on something else, and saw Riyo in the distance. She would of called out, but the feline was intent on going through that door. She sighed; it would of been nice for the extra support. Riyo would of thought this was stupid, wouldn't she? But then she might have not.
Lizzy continued to speak, and she bit her tongue to keep herself from speaking her mind. She was speaking sense. Revenge was not the best thing at all. Mitsu needed to go home, not to some stupid horsemen place to potentially get even more hurt.
The demoness then lowered her voice, and while poke tried to listen, she didn't hear much. Something about generating fear. But what buggered her the most was she was being kept out of it. Why did she need to lower her voice? Why couldn't she hear it. JACKING HELL THEY WERE IGNORING HER AND-

"Because our goals were aligned," he practically snapped at Poke before calming himself down again.
Shun's eye narrowed at Lizzy, not really swayed too much right now. He was still kind of torn, but the last few things she said didn't really have much of a hold on him.
"I can be patient. I want the hunters dead. But furthermore I want Candace to ******** suffer for this," he hissed lowly. Yes he was aware that some prisoners were taken, but they deserved no less in his book.
"Killing is not a problem," he replied to Lizzy, quietly. Coldly. If it were, he would have never slit Stacey's throat in the first place.
The Reaper let out a breath and closed his eye for a few moments.
"Invictus follows Medea. He promised me that he, and at least those of the former Conquest clan, will not be in a position anytime in the near future where his loyalties between his people and us would have to be strained or questioned any longer. I trust his judgement."

"I am not going to comment on that," Lizzy muttered, more to herself than to anyone else; she could understand where Shun was coming from, and why he felt so angry - if it had happened to Mac, she would probably be tempted by the offer of paying her tormentors back in the same coin... Tempted, but not giving in. If given the chance though, Shun would probably kill this 'Candace', along with any other hunter in his way... And although it didn't sit well with her, she is not here to talk about that now. She is here because she was worried about Shun and about Mitsu.
"Invictus... I can trust a little more. I trust Medea as far as I can throw her... And I can't even toss Mot very far if I tried, just so you know," She frowned, "If you want to join them and take revenge, do it when Mitsu's in a better condition. Please... Just... Come with us for now? After visiting Nurse Cricket, Xiu can brew her some tea, Hel can make her some stew, I'll help Junko make some canine-safe chocolate cookies for her, and you can tuck her into her bed. Maybe it'll help... She didn't recognize me just now. I'm worried."
Gently, she brushed some of Mitsu's bangs aside; it pained her to see the ghoul this way. The same ghoul who tricked Mac onto a bridge and got him drenched, the same ghoul who, a year ago, couldn't go anywhere without a mask over her face but had grown so much since then, "Let's go home."

Salbei had made it just in time to see the Hunters being taken by his own kind; ah yes, that would do nicely! Medea beckoned them, but the Sage remained a little longer; there was an interesting debate happening not too far from him, and he just had to stop and listen.
Students, apparently; obviously, who else could they be? Squabbling over Medea and which choice to make. There were others? Red eyes ghosted over the ones arguing and then drifted over the surrounding areas, spotting what looked to be a blue-and-white elf under some foliage. Aahh, that one. The Secretary, he recalled briefly. He must have been the one offering them a chance to go back home. Back to the squabbling group his focus went, eyeing them with the same amusement a parent might, one who was watching their children fight over who got to be the hero in their make-believe.
It was adorable, really.
He looked like he had something to say, but, hm...no, he couldn't. He was all for making them question themselves, but they were so little...they should make their own choices!
So he closed his mouth, watched the scene play out for a little longer, and then turned and headed after Medea.

Shun fell silent soon as Lizzy continued to speak, freezing a bit when she mentioned the recognition. Mitsu... had been acting a little strangely. There was confusion in her eyes as she looked at familiar people. Uncertainty in her voice.
"She's just... she's just out of it. Tired..." he murmured. She couldn't have forgotten them. Forgotten him. He refused to believe so.
Furrowing his brow, he looked at his two options. He had been so certain at first but now? Right now he didn't know. The Reaper wanted Mitsu to get better. He wanted to be able to protect her. He would do anything if it meant keeping her safe, even if it meant giving himself up, taking deals he wouldn't have really considered before.
...
Perhaps love was a weakness after all.

While trying to piece her thoughts together, Tori spotted Ami being carried off by a horseman. No this couldn't be happening!! Dam you horsemen!! "AMI!" she called out. Tori tried to summon her weapon but nothing was happening. Aklin wake up! she said but heard nothing. LIN WAKE UP! Tori screamed at her weapon in desperation but still nothing as she could feel him curled up around her mind and very asleep. To which she started to panic a little as she tried to follow but it was very tiring to do so.
Tori desperately wanted to get Ami away from those horsemen but without a weapon to use against those dam horseman and even most stupid being tired as well to fight them. She would find a way to find you Ami and get you back! That was a promise! Tori had to admitted defeat to which she really hated as her bottled up anger started to bubble upward as she started to blame herself too for unable to protect to save.

It felt somewhat unreal. The silence in his head was nearly unbearable, and Gale lifted his hands again, pressing his fingertips against his temples, digging them into his face as though attempting to simply will Jinhai out of his slumber, get him talking again, to make him wake up -
- silence. An awful, pressing, horrible silence that was contaminating his mind and suffocating his thoughts.
Come back. I'm sorry.
Come back, please.
The jungle was hot and humid, and his coat was sticking to him unpleasantly. He lifted his hands, tugging at the scarf, trying to pull it away from his neck in almost automatic motions, yanking until it fell free and dropped to the messy dirt ground. Free of its restraints, he did not stop to pick it up, but instead continued forward, stumbling through the jungle, pushing aside thick branches and masses of leaves in an attempt to find someone, anyone, anyone that he knew -
- there. Just up ahead, a hunched figure, familiar, with dark hair. Gale slowed his steps a little, and reached down, his hand brushing against Wilson's shoulder, leaving it there momentarily as his gaze flickered around to search for more.
There was another, a short distance away. Letting his fingers drop from Wilson's shoulder, he gave the hunter a nod before stepping over a series of bushes, pushing aside a large, leafy plant to reach another hunter - this one a girl, unfamiliar, with dark hair that fell over her shoulders in tangled brown waves.
Gale crouched beside her, and his fingers wrapped gently, but firmly around her upper arm as he pulled - a gesture for her to stand back up, to get back on her feet.
"...are you all right?" he asked quietly.

"I hope so... She had been through a lot, so maybe that's why..." Lizzy went quiet, settling for giving Mitsu head pets; she briefly wondered where Amrita was, and when she could give the undead some head pets of her own. It made her anxious to just stand around; the hunters might not be attacking any of them right now, but she did not want to stay long enough to find out if they were planning to do so.
One last try. One last plea.
"Can we go home please, Shun? You can't pay the price all on your own. If they help Mitsu, I'm sure they'll eventually want something from her... I think that's what Poke was trying to say-" Even if she didn't word it in a Shun-friendly way, "-Nurse Cricket can help, I'm sure of it. She's good with these things," She urged softly, glancing at the door that Arel had opened for them, tugging on his arm again, "I don't want to lose another friend today... Let us go home together. The topic of revenge, if you still want it then, can wait till Mitsu is better. Something about... It being served cool. Uh, cold."
Talking about revenge like this made it seem like she actually approved of it when she did not, and it was obvious how uncomfortable it was making her feel... But she desperately wanted to nurse Mitsu back to health somewhere warm. Sure, the conversation started out with her being worried about Shun's choices, but somewhere along the line, her attention had shifted to Mitsu.

The pink haired ghoul had taken her hand and lifted it to her head. Mitsu could feel the soft texture of her hair smiling almost childishly before Lizzy spoke about an amusement park. " We went to an amusement park?" She seemed to consider the term double date for a moment, falling into silence and just giving the demoness a slow nod agreeing that she would try to get better. " Alright..." She was comfortable where she was, though she stared almost intently at the portal where Medea had disappeared. There seemed to be quite the debate about whether or not Shun should go. It didn't seem like Mitsu had a voice on the matter, she simply stared on from her current position in the reaper's arms though at times she cast glances at the three as they fought and argued, their voiced rising in degree. There were points where it looked like it bothered her and other times it looked like it amused her. It was hard to say what she was really getting out of the conversation but perhaps the lack of FEAR was starting to go to her head? Her gaze began to drift as she lost interest in listening. Honestly they were just saying the same things over and over and Mitsu had no way to decide. Instead she caught a glimpse of gold hair as it vanished through a different portal. " It's the kitty from before.." She muttered waving to the ghoul weakly even though she was already gone. At least the head pets were nice, it was causing her to drift off again, tail swaying almost erratically like she couldn't control it before it slowed to a stop. " Oh, I know who you are. You're umm..." Her brows furrowed in concentration, turning to stare at Lizzy's face like it would give her the answer. Never mind that she had just introduced herself to Poke not long ago Mitsu had stopped paying attention. " Pink....y?" That seemed like a suitable name. " So where is home?"
