✹You're Not A Prince
Turning his attention back to his friend after he climbed out of the sheets, the redhead gave a small nod to show he understood. His reasons were good, and so he felt no need to comment on them. It seemed that Cedric hadn't let his mind run away just because the two had slept together, and Cam was oddly pleased to hear of his friend's feelings. Flashing a grin, the redhead slipped his hands into his pockets as he spoke. "So am I invited to the wedding?" he teased, knowing he would crash it anyway. Since the bassist stayed away from the mock flirting, except while quite smashed, he had to make up for it elsewhere.

Cedric finished dressing in his night wear and turned to his friend. The man let out a smile before turning and looking for something. His back hunched over as he searched in his sock drawer. "Duh. You're the best man." He answered him. He had chosen Cam long ago to be the man at his wedding. He then pulled out an odd shaped sock and dug his hand in it. It wasn't long tell he pulled out a box. "This was my mom's. None of my brothers are married right now, so I have it." He then walked over to his friend and showed him the ring inside.

✹You're Not A Prince
Flashing a brilliant grin as he was told he was to be the best man, the bassist seemed genuinely excited to hear such. "Is that so?" he mused, though the question was a rhetorical one. He hadn't expected that statement, but it was a good affirmation of their bond. Even though he didn't expect to get married soon, he knew that Cedric would be his choice as well; his brothers had each other, and therefore he wouldn't feel an ounce of guilt. Watching curiously as Cedric pulled out an oddly shaped sock, he waited patiently for him to pull out whatever it was that was inside. At the sight of the box, he moved a bit closer to get a better look, eyeing the ring inside as his friend opened the box. It was a lovely ring, and he smiled at his friend's explanation. "It's lovely." he told the other man, turning his eyes back to his friend's face.

It seemed that Cam approved of what Cedric was thinking. The man only had to figure out one more thing. The question was when for him. He didn't want to do it too soon and scare Amy away or do it too late and have her annoyed at his commitment. "I just have to figure out when the best time to ask her. I kind of want to do it soon, but I'm not sure. She is coming tomorrow." The man looked to his friend for advice.

Timing was a very important thing, but Cam didn't think he knew Amy quite well enough to have a strong opinion. "Well, it sounded like something pretty important she wanted to talk about, so I'd see what she has to say first." the redhead volunteered, having picked up the intonations in her voice. He was of the opinion that tomorrow might not be the best option, as soon didn't need to mean as soon as possible. One of his close friends was dating Amy's brother, whom he had never actually met, that he would offer to get in contact with if it weren't for the minor issue of the couple being out of town. He also thought that Ced might want to talk to Lloyd, or at least Lyndis, ahead of time.

Cedric took in what his friend was saying. Maybe he was right He didn't want this news that the woman had spoil the moment that he asked her to marry him. "Good point. I'll ask her some other time." He agreed as he walked back over to his bed and sat down. "Do you have any suggestions on how to make the moment just right?" He asked his friend. It was easy to see that he was nervous about asking Amy.

Glad that his friend had agreed with him on the matter, Cam moved to lean against the dresser. Crossing his arms over his chest, his eyes fell to his friend as he started speaking again. He considered the question carefully, knowing his response would hold weight with his friend. "I think that, from what I know about Amy, that it would be best to full romantic." he commented, thinking that he should pull out all the stops. Maybe a nice dinner, then take her somewhere private and pretty for the actual proposal. He was quite certain that, with the sentimentality attached to the ring, that she would be excited and pleased with it. "You might want to warn her about our odd little family, too." he smiled then, teasing again.

Cedric would have to be romantic. He needed to think of a few things that he could do. A plan started to form in his head. Before he turned to Cam when it came to her family. Cedric didn't agree with that for three good reasons. Amy could find out, they were both adults, and he wanted everything remain between the two of them at first. Once Amy agreed he would formally ask. "I'm going to wait till after I talk to her. I don't want fuss over everything till we know what's happening." He told his friend. There had to be a plan first. "So what do you think on this idea of romantic. Dark candlelit dinner. I'm thinking pasta of some kind. I'll leave Amy alone for a bit and tell her to eat, only to come out with a violin and sing some kind of romantic song leading up popping the question?"

✹You're Not A Prince
Giving a small nod to Cedric's statement, he set aside thoughts of that for now. His friend was right, and they might as well wait and see what the girl said before throwing too much at her at once. Listening carefully to Cedric's proposed idea, he flashed a grin as he finished. "If I was a lady, I'd be swooning already." he commented, thinking the guitarist had come up with a brilliant idea. It was definitely romantic, and he thought that any woman would be lucky to be on the receiving end of such a beautiful gesture. "I, of course, will make myself perfectly available to watch the kids." Again. He liked watching kids, and he wanted to be there when Amy returned home with the news. The plural still confused him, he was curious as to who this Loa was, but he supposed he'd find out tomorrow.

Cedric watched his friend. If anything was a bad idea then Cam would say so. That's probably why the unicorn trusted Cam so much to have his back. He was glad that it wasn't a bad idea. "Maybe I should add some rose petals in and kidnap her the whole night." The man added to his evolving plan. It was just a plan in the works. He would also have to make some chocolate covered strawberries. "Remind me to reward you for all you've done." He added.

Nodding to show that the rose petals would be a romantic touch, he considered what else he could add. "Cooking it yourself would be a nice touch." he pointed out, not sure if Cedric had planned on doing such. "And dessert. Ladies love dessert." at least, in his experience they did. Amy seemed the type to enjoy sweet things, so he figured he would suggest it. He flashed a grin in response to the mention of rewards, not looking averse to such. "If I'm a good boy, do I get ice cream?" he asked, heavily amused at that point. He was picking on his friend again, wanting him to loosen up a bit about it. Cam had total confidence in his friend, and he wasn't actually expecting anything in return. They were friends, and he would do anything to help the other man when he was in need.

Cedric took notes on the nodded and and comments that his bandmate made. There was nothing that could wrong with the two of them together working as a team. "Of course. Strawberries and chocolate." He answered as to what his idea of a dessert would be. He then rolled his eyes at his comment about getting ice cream. "You'll also get a pony." He added with a chuckle. "Well I'm going to bed. Amy tomorrow and then planning for our next date." The man said as he laid out on his bed. "Hit the light switch would you?" He requested.

Strawberries and chocolate was an excellent combination, and he definitely agreed to this proposed idea. Chuckling in response to the taunt about a pony. "Why would I want a pony when I have a unicorn?" he retorted, his tone obviously teasing. As it was made clear that the other intended to go to sleep, Cam moved away from the dresser and headed towards the door. "Yeah, no problem." he flipped the light switch on his way out the door. Cedric's plan was a good one, and so the redhead was sure that it would work out. Slipping into the spare bedroom, he closed the door behind him, shedding clothes as he moved towards the dresser. He kept a couple spare sets of clothes here, and he pulled on a worn pair of pajama pants before slipping under the blankets on the bed. Within minutes, he was asleep.

"Hiya! Call Me Amy~ It's Short For Amelia Caliu." Tucking her transporter into her purse, she was silently relieved that it's left her just in front of the apartment complex she'd wanted to appear at. So far, the item was worth every penny it had cost as she'd never had much trouble with it, and that evening was no exception. After finding the door number she wanted, she knocked twice, standing just off to the side as she waited for the occupant to answer. While it could be unlocked and she was far from apprehensive about just walking in, she thought it best to have at least some manners and wait patiently, especially since she was wasn't at all late from the time she'd said that she would come.

Cedric had been waiting in the living room from the moment that Cam left. He only got up once to get himself a drink and a snack which was gone fast. He worried about what Amy had to say a bit. Curious if she was dumping him or that she shouldn't have done what she did last night. Then again it seemed she had that question since before they slept with each other. So that was out of the question at least. Once the man heard the knocks at the door he jumped up and pretty much ran to it and opened it up. Once he did he calmed a bit seeing that it was indeed Amy. The unicorn moved to the side and let her in. "Hey. Do you want anything to drink?" He asked her. He had everything that she could ask for and a few things she may not have thought of.
