Hold up, wait a minute... They had made their way around the area, finally settling in a two-seater table. Bags filling up the space around them, over flowing and stacked neatly. He remembered that she didn't eat that much but damn, did she put back some sweets. Huey grinned, "I will try not to gross you out by it." Before him was a rather large platter of lettuce, finely chopped cucumbers, feta cheese, baked chicken, almonds, and lite honey mustard. Sure he enjoyed a burger or steak, whatever, but he still had to eat right, so he had chosen a salad with an iced green tea. He took note that she looked rather pleased, the both of them having a good time and just hanging out. "Oh! Yeah, Okay. I will wait here." Huey wasn't done just yet, so it was no problem, plus who was gonna watch all the bags? He'd be wicked pissed if someone made off with all her stuff.
Once he ate almost all of the leafy green deliciousness, he stacked their dishes and trash on a tray and scooted it off to the side where someone would easily pick it up without having to bother with conversation. He took a few drinks of his cold beverage, shaking it occasionally to mix the diluted flavor. Reclining back he took in the people, awkwardly watching them without making any eye contact. That was until he noticed her coming out of the restroom, he stood, starting to grab up the roped handles. He stopped though, noticing the bright red splotch on her porcelain cheek. His demeanor completely changed, " Are you okay? What in the hell happened? " He'd strangle the lil arsehead who would hit a woman. It slowly dawned on him, she went to the restroom, it had to be a woman that did this. A look of utter pissed-the-hell-off chiseled his face, hardening his defined features. Bitches. He would cup her hand within his large palm, looking at the entrance/exit. He had a few choice words for someone and it wouldn't be pretty by any means. "Whatever you want to do." If she wanted to go, they would, but if they stayed, s**t was gonna hit the fan so hard someone was gonna get whiplash. His voice was soft, tender even. A thumb lightly worshiping her pink flesh, his eyes were thunderous storms waiting to throw icy daggers at anyone but her.

The girl blinked up to him feeling a little surprised at his show of concern but only because she has never been shown such affection by anybody else before other than her sisters back when she lived in their sisterhood. Feeling something warm up in her heart she just gave the man a soft and serene smile and let her hand hang at her side, no longer messaging the red splotch on her cheek. She barely noticed the feel of the sting on her face anymore. The man was all softness with her but with others, he doesn't trust them at all. 'I wonder if he has many friends...' she sighed. While she is warming up to the idea of being his friend she also likes the idea that he has friends with others. "Don't worry about what happened. The girl was just really jealous and frustrated. I guess some people can be mean. Before I thought the world was divided between masters and slaves. But now I know that it's not so simple."
Giving him a brilliant smile she grabbed his hand lightly and said, "Yes. Music store. Let's go." She started to remember the sisterhood and the types of music she is acquainted with are the ones that are folk, Celtic, ancient Greek and classical, music of the old times. But she knows that times have changed. When she entered the music store everything looked incredibly shiny. She was hoping she would see things like instruments but apparently people were things over their ears and some tap their foot. 'Hm, must be a device to listen to music.' Then there were shiny thin boxes with pictures on them. She observed each one carefully and the labels. "I see. So there are different kinds of music. Let's see this is Rap." she pulled out a random CD and put the 'ear-thingies' on and turned it on. After sometime she scrunched up her nose. "Oh... my... those are some of the most vulgar words I have heard in one song. I hope not all music is like that these days!" she exclaimed. She put the test CD back in the box. "Okay let's try this Rock genre of yours..."
She turned on one and listened intently. She blinked and tilted her head. "This genre is quiet promising and has influences of many other types of music that I know of... I think I'll give this genre a chance." She listened to more rock and found different types of rock. She found several she didn't like, like the ones that had too much screaming that her ears went deaf. Then there are ones where the women had soothing voices, like the lead singer of Within Temptation. And then there are those who sing rather happy rock songs like Avril Lavigne. And then there are ones that sing good songs but are on the more depressing side like Trust Company. "Hm hm. These groups are niiiice!~" she chimed. By now she has completely forgotten of the little episode that has happened in the bathroom stall.
She went to discover some pop and dance music and some more electronica and came to like those as well. She felt the same for R&B and Hip Hop when she first listened to Rap but gave Will. I. Am a chance and she liked his music. They didn't have the most innocent lyrics but she felt she could let that slide when it came to some artists. "Humans are really interesting. You keep exploring and exploring different genres of music. If I had known better I am sure some of them are blessed by the muses..." she commented finally. However, she doesn't plan to buy any of them. She felt that she was pretty much done with the shopping. The music store was a very interesting experience for her and she was all smiles now. "Oh by the way, I hope you don't find me stupid since I haven't been around technology for a long time but what are those things people carry around and have these wirey ear-thingies on their heads? I know they are music devices to listen to music."

Hold up, wait a minute... She obviously wanted to drop it and he wouldn't press it anymore. That didn't mean he liked the idea of some twits slapping her around. For any reason at all. In fact, there should be no reason for it. Huey nodded though, accepting her answer. He had no idea what it was like to have the master-slash-slave mentality, but he also knew nothing was black and white, there would and was, always shades of gray. No matter the case.
"Yeah! Ha, okay." She laced her milky tendrils in his, his other arm carrying a slew of bags that wavered in the air as they left in a hurry.
Once they walked into the store, the checkered pattern of monochromatic greeting them. People were checking out music, doing their thing...just hanging really. As she headed for the rap, he couldn't help but to laugh and the even more so when he brows furrowed. "I've never carried for that stuff," he replied while wiping a tear from his eye. As she picked up random ones, each taking a turn in the mp3 player. He walked around to the other row of cds. It was all instrumental, classics, acoustics, lullabies, whatever ever your fancy. Huey wasn't the type to expect people to change, they rarely ever did and he would never force his views or ideals onto her. Aria has already dealt with enough s**t in her life, no need to make her wade through more of it. "Everyone has a muse, one form or another." A smile creeping up the corners of his maw. "Ohhh yeah..well, they store music on them. Like, well..." How do you explain this? "It is all compressed, and then the long vine looking things hold small buds that act as speakers. I mean, I have one. A lot of people use them now-a-days. Takes up less space." He could have done better, but it was likely that she didn't know the terminology. "Well if you want any, you can pick out whatever. Over here is the classical..." His finger pointing to the row he stood by. "If that is what you like, I mean. I don't know." Heh. Jesus get a grip. "Or you can decide later and I can just put some new tunes on my Ipod for you." It was completely up to her.
"So anywhere else?" Huey brightened up, smiling as he watched her curiosity grow.

Ⱥmaranth Much to her surprise, Amaranth hadn't had to wait much longer, keeping up conversation with the selkie. His twin had arrived after a few minutes, a beautiful little deer on his arm, the female carrying a small...bag? Suitcase? What did they call them now? The Lares gave them both a small, hesitant smile, standing near the other slave while their new masters paid at the front desk for them. There were few words exchanged, but both females were so gentle and friendly that there was hardly a need for them to speak to know that they would be able to get along. There was no competition there, at least, for any attention. Personally, Amaranth was delighted that the other twin had found someone and she wouldn't have cared if he had brought the whole Hotel with them in the end. It was only more people to add to her family, more people for her to care for and bless and keep safe. She delighted in that prospect and laced her fingers through the deer's while they waited. The girl reminded her of a fawn, at least for the moment, and Lares was more than happy to have her in her family. She introduced herself quietly, getting a name back in return - Flannery. It was a pretty name and the Lares said so, getting a shy smile in return. The twins spoke amongst themselves while they left the hotel, seeming to argue about where to go next. From what Amaranth could tell, Ian wanted to go straight home and Orion wanted to go somewhere else.
Which is how they found themselves outside a boutique in the markets. It said Frocks Boutique, but the Lares couldn't read even such simple words as that and she simply looked up at it in confusion. She was still holding onto the other female's hand. Even without her powers given to her, the collar still restricting her, the Lares wanted to do what she was meant to do - give comfort and help. So she kept the other girl close to her side, talking softly to her and smiling, her gown twisting around her body as she walked. The house deity didn't realize how much attention she or her female companion received on their looks alone, nor how the twins reacted to any potential advances made on them as they walked down the streets. Instead she was humming an old song, one the deer seemed to recognize a little bit, and she was pleased to see the expression of faint recognition in her pretty eyes. It was more than easy for Amaranth to fawn over her new family, though the twins seemed like they were going to make it a bit more difficult for her in the long run. Still, she would do what she could, especially once she had her powers back again.
At Orion's urging, the two females went inside, looking around. Amaranth realized it was a place to buy clothing, nodding in understanding and smiling a bit. Not quite sure what to do, she let Flannery lead her around the building, looking around curiously and fingering certain fabrics that caught her eye. There were a few other people in the store, though they paid the newcomers little attention. Wandering around, the two slaves found a few things to try on, as Amaranth had no idea about the concept of sizes or fitting or anything of that nature. Everything she picked out was built to skim curves, however, show them off and accentuate them. It wasn't out of a desire for sexuality, but simply how she had watched human females dress for centuries. Even at her birth, women dressed to show off their figure, some more tastefully than others, to attract men, to have power, to simply enjoy being beautiful. Some of the women Amaranth had most respected dressed themselves like queens and while she wasn't nearly that extravagant, she was simply doing as she had seen for years. Pants and jeans and shorts held no appeal to her at all - she preferred skirts and dresses, long flowing things reminiscent of her ancient times she recalled so fondly.
It was hard for her to tell if Flannery and the two brothers were enjoying themselves at all, though the deer picked out things at the Lares' urging. Not so much to spend money, but because she wanted the other girl to have things, pretty things, and hoped that having something of her own would make her happy. Amaranth was only bothering with clothing because it seemed to please the twins, though for what reasons she couldn't guess at. Everything she did stemmed from wanting her family to be happy, however, and it wasn't so much self-sacrifice as simply the fact she had no sense of 'self' whatsoever. It wasn't the sort of creature she was and another master could have taken horrible advantage of her nature. In truth, she was as gentle and fragile as the skinwalker she was shopping with, though it was expressed in different ways. They certainly didn't behave the same, the Lares talking and smiling while the deer was quiet and shy, though didn't seem to be unhappy at the attention the older female was showering on her.

![User Image]() ![User Image]() ![User Image]() ▷ Orion was pleased to see the girls going about with one another. He had expected his brother to find someone just as physically, if not more, attractive as Flannery. Both girls were very beautiful, and he found himself wondering if he even needed to speak the words to his twin about hands being kept in pockets. If he needed to, Orion wasn't above putting a muzzle on his brother incase too many innuendos snaked their way out into the air. If he couldn't deny the girls' features, he found it very unlikely that his brother could, or would even try. "Iain, you can't be at the house tonight." Orion didn't look at his brother as he spoke keeping an eye on the new members of the household, glad they were far enough away to have this conversation without the girls hearing them.
"Why the hell not? Do you honestly think I'm that kind of person? Amara is some sort of goddess, and I don't mean physically, she really is, and your little Flannery is a bit too innocent looking for me. I don't see any reason to do anything with them. But if you would rather I leave Mr. Passive Aggresive in the house alone, with two women, then fine. I'll go out." Iain purposely bumped his brother on the arm as he went from where he was standing over to the women. Did his brother truly think he couldn't keep his hands to himself? He shook the thought. For twins who had spent their whole life together, neither one of them really knew the other, or completely trusted them, at least, not of late. Iain had no idea what Orion wanted out of life, and he never thought to ask. Iain was fine living the way he was. He didn't need some woman nagging at him for this or that. If he did anything to Amara and Flannery, it would be simply telling them that they had no place telling him what he could and could not do as far as his own life and health went. He already had his brother forcing him to eat soup when he was sick. "You both look like idiots." Iain reached up and snapped off their collars, stuffing them into his pocket. Orion would probably like to remember what charms they wore so he could do something nice for them. All that mattered to Iain was that there was a pearl on both collars, and the women were going to be messing up the stuff in the house.
Orion sighed heavily as his brother walked away from him. He didn't think his brother was like that at all, but if he could talk any woman into bed, he didn't wish the girls to spend their first night trying to sneak into Iain's room, or vise versa. It was his own fault that he was thinking such a horrible thing about the three of them. He had no idea how any of them thought or what sorts of things they liked. If his twin really did go out, he would take the opportunity to try and get to know the two of them better. Orion plastered a smile on his face and slowly made his way closer to everyone else, thenkful his brother was holding on to the collars. If the girls liked to paint or dance, something of the sort, he could get them the appropriate supplies. He quickly found himself thinking about food. Seals weren't exactly creatures who lived off slim diets, after all. When was the last time the girls ate? He looked over at the small clock on the wall. Depending on when the hotel considered lunch time, they had either just eaten, or the McIntosh twins had taken the girls away before. "If you ladies haven't eaten recently, I think lunch is in order after this."
He took off his glasses, cleaning them on his sweater. Orion wondered if he needed to find something more permanent for one of the brothers to wear so that the girls could tell them apart. Iain wouldn't exactly jump at the chance to correct them if they thought he was the other brother, especially if they were seeking permission to do something. Iain had been talking about getting a tattoo, maybe it was about time he did. Orion could cut his hair, and hopefully by the time it grew out again, the girls could tell the two apart by some smaller details, such as Iain's eyes being ever so slightly more green than the blue clad twin's electric blue gaze. Or perhaps, they would find a subtle difference in the way that the boys stood, a bored slouch, and a gentlemanly stance. If they spent enough time with them, they would find something sooner or later, and Orion could relax. ◁

x x w a f f l e s x x w a f f l e s x x ⊱⊱ F ▸ L A N N E R Y ⋮ or Fawn, the Red Stag Skinwalker ░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ When Orion explained what dancing was, a light seemed to turn on inside Flannery's eyes. Moving to whatever music you could hear sounded lovely, except for the style of dancing that Orion said was more popular these days, that didn't sound as fun. His blush had surprised her, but what surprised her further was Orion taking the suitcase from her hands. Letting the item slip free, she felt his hand slide into one of hers. This was something she knew from the times back in Scotland when she spent most of her time in her normal human form. Hand-holding was a sign of trust, and was a great way to avoid becoming separated when walking through unknown places. He wasn't holding her hand possessively, but more like a friend gently leading another. It was nice.
Walking slightly behind Orion as they followed a guard back down to the first floor of the Hotel, Flannery found herself starting to feel excited and hopeful. She was leaving already, and with such a nice man and his twin brother. Almost as if Orion was listening to her thoughts on how home life would be with the two, his voice caught her attention. Listening to him say she wasn't allowed to cry around them, for a moment she was confused, but when he mentioned it was for her protection she understood. She had heard the various tales of Scottish creatures from her tribe, and Selkies had been most exotic since they lived on the coastline while they lived inland. Flannery couldn't remember the last time she'd cried (deers didn't shed tears), so it was easy for her to promise not to cry around them. Besides, if she changed into her deer form, that would solve the problem right then and there.
The closer they came to the front desk, the more Flannery found her nerves rising. Asking for her suitcase back by way of a security blanket, she found Orion obliged, since he'd need to go pay for her anyway. Spying a man that was like a carbon copy of Orion, she noticed the brunette woman that was by his side. The other woman was around the same height as herself, but she looked just like a normal human. Without her animal senses, Flannery couldn't be sure if she was magical, mythical or not, but she stood with the woman nonetheless as the twins went away to pay for them. Looking to the woman as a name was produced - Amaranth - Flannery gave her own name in return, and promptly blushed at the compliment. Shuffling her feet, feeling her tainted wild blood rushing through her body, the woman was yearning to change and run around, but she couldn't yet, not until they were home. The feeling went away though when she noticed that Amaranth had slipped her hand into her own. Looking at it, Flannery couldn't remember it happening, but it was comforting. It felt sisterly and it calmed her right down.
As the men returned, the looks on their faces showing they obviously had different ideas about what they were to do next, the one called Iain shocked Flannery by removing the collar from her neck. Surprised by the action, a lightness made it's way over Flannery's head as she felt something release her body. Visibly relaxing, Fawn knew what the feeling was. The collar had restricted her body forcibly, and although the wards on the hotel made form changing and other magics forbidden, her body knew it was no longer bound by the collars - she could change when they were free of the hotel. But would she? No, not yet, it wouldn't be right to show anything off until they were safely at home. Humans were afraid of what they didn't know and understand, she wasn't about to make two gentleman look bad by association. Thankfully her thoughts were interrupted by a question from Orion. Hungry? Looking to her stomach, she was indeed hungry. Flannery tended to 'graze' over the course of a day on six small meals ever since finding her human form again, but she was training herself to get back into a regular eating routine.
Holding tightly onto Amara's hand as they left the Hotel and made their way to the markets, right up to a rather lovely fashion store. It was almost old worldly, with the clothes being modest but elegant. This was the type of clothing Flannery enjoyed, the kinds of dresses that floated as you moved or swirled as you spun around. Taking the lead, Fawn - along with some urging from Orion - wandered around the clothing racks and even helped Amara find the right sizes since they were rather similar in body type. It was strangely fun, shopping, especially with a female that had very similar tastes of clothing. Well, similar enough; Flannery picked out adorable girly dresses, skirts, tops and some easy to wear shoes while Amaranth went for womanly dresses that hugged the figure in a flattering way. With some urging, even Fawn found herself picking up a few of those dresses in case of nights out. She'd never had nights out, but it seemed like something the gentlemen would do, so she wanted to be prepared. Picking up other essentials with the woman - sleepwear, swimwear, underwear - the girls didn't end up spending as much as Fawn had thought they would; for a respectable stack of clothing, it was surprisingly affordable.
Being quiet for so long, Flannery soon found her voice and smiled at Orion, speaking up with her musical Scottish accent. "Thank ye... This is too kind of ye... Blushing slightly as she thanked her new Master, her hand found it's way into Amaranth's again, giving the woman a smile too. This was nice, this family feeling, and Fawn couldn't help but let her doe's tail grow underneath her dress and wiggle side to side. Blushing more with an embarrassed chuckle, the woman was quite happy that she had enough control to keep her horns at bay for the time being. Her tail would disappear soon enough, once her emotions were settled again, but for now something else was on her mind. "Orion, may we go somewhere ta eat? And... If it is okay, ca' we fin' somewhere that sells knittin' supplies? I... Like ta knit..." Cheeks still pink from the tale slip, Flannery tipped her chin to her chest for a moment, fiery orange hair falling over her shoulders which danced as she lifted her head to look through her bangs shyly at Orion. Again, she was being rather open like before, but she felt it to be welcome. Opening her suitcase, Flannery put her bag of clothing inside, and smiled to Amaranth. "Ye can put yer things into here if ya want?" It would do for now, until they got back to their new home with the twins. This whole deal was very exciting to Flannery, after never having a Master before, her doe's tail still happily twitching under the pleats of her dress.

GaysbianBabe ![User Image]() ![User Image]() ![User Image]() ▷ Orion was glad to see that Flannery was having a nice enough time. A look over at his brother, and he could tell the twin could care less about how the girls were feeling. He was still mad at Orion. The blue clad twin gave a heavy sigh, and paid for the girls' things, wondering if they wished to spend more. There was quite a lot of it. Maybe he would give the girls each their own card accessing the twins' account and then they could buy whatever they pleased. He was thankful twin telepathy wasn't real, because Iain would start with his whole speech about not trusting people right out of the gate and handing everything over. At least the two could compromise with house keys. The girls would need one to get in and out, especially if Flannery decided to go running about for a while. If the girls decided they would feel safer further from the boys at night, Orion could clean out the bungalow at the back of the house and set up rooms for them in there. For tonight, they would have to sleep in the house. They had rooms, which Iain had put locks on, so the girls could hide out in their rooms if they didn't want to spend time with the twins.
"Of course. I'm hungry as well, and believe it or not, Iain used to knit too." Orion whispered the last part to the girls, only to have his ear captured by his brother's grasp and yanked. The way his brother looked at him made him gulp. He was a dead man if he said anymore. He blushed a bit and turned back to the ladies. "Is there anything specific you ladies would like to eat?" He sealed his mouth on the subject of Iain and his knitting endeavors. They had only occurred because when one spends so many years, they grow weary of doing nothing, and turn to whatever seems to occupy their time. Iain just so happened to have taken up knitting, something that as quickly as it had started, had stopped. Orion had taken up an odd habit of making the house completely spotless whenever he was stressed, or there was a mess to be cleaned. He wasn't a neat freak, he just wished one room of the house could stay clean. After a few weeks, it went from wiping down counter tops and under the table to pulling the fridge from the wall and scrubbing it all down until the house looked brand new.
Iain rolled his eyes at his brother and the women. "Does it really matter what they want to eat? I doubt anyone around here will cook children's souls, and fried twigs. Let's just go get a burger, or fish and chips." He internally drooled at the thought of fish and chips. The reason he was being so cold, and rude was because Orion was starting to bother him. Brother or not, one could only take so much of the other's presence. Normally, Iain was trying to trick someone into doing something for him, but if he tricked the women into leaving for Scotland directly after lunch, they might figure it out on the plane, and nine hours of everyone trying to figure out why they had agreed was not something he was particularly looking forward to. He just wanted to go home and sleep, but even if he went home, he wouldn't be able to sleep for a while. Orion had told him to go out. The sun would nearly be up by the time he got back, and with a deer girl in the house, he couldn't expect he would get much sleep in the morning. He opened the door to the shop and waited for the women and Orion to exit. There was no need to hang around in the shop anymore, and with everyone being hungry, he just wanted to get everyone fed before a case of the grumpies broke out, and his ears fell off from all the nagging and whining. ◁

Ⱥmaranth "Thank you, Flannery," Amaranth said with a smile, setting her own bag in the suitcase and making sure that it wouldn't be too heavy for the deer before taking her hand again for the time being. Looking between the two brothers, it was obvious that Iain was far from happy and she frowned a bit. She wanted him to be happy, after all, he was her family now as well. And Orion wasn't very happy either. The spirit had a feeling that if Flannery noticed the twins weren't happy, she wouldn't be happy either and that would leave all three of them sad. Well, she couldn't have that - they were family and she was here to keep them happy now, after all. Her expression fell, momentarily hurt by Iain's words about eating children's souls. Did he honestly think she ate that? That was awful! How had she managed to give him that impression? Thinking it was somehow her fault, the spirit sighed a bit as they walked out of the clothing store and onto the sidewalk again.
Amaranth let go of the deer's hand so she could walk with Orion if she wanted and moved so she was next to the cranky twin. Taking his hand and lacing her fingers through his, not caring if he wanted to or not, she turned her attention over to Orion as they headed down the street. "I can eat, but I actually don't have to, so you don't have to worry about feeding me," the spirit told them cheerfully, glad to be able to settle that issue as no one had ever asked her such a thing. As to why she didn't have to eat, she didn't know and simply never worried about it. It wasn't as if it affected her at all, save for the fact she didn't have to worry about going hungry when she traveled. It was more convenient than anything else, she supposed, and she never had any reason to worry about it. "I hope that makes it easier for you. I don't eat souls either, childrens' or otherwise," Amaranth added with a smile, nothing in expression suggesting that she was bothered by Iain's cruel words about what the two girls possibly ate.
As they walked down the street, she wondered what their house would be like. Would she share a room with Flannery, or one of the twins? Or would they want her in a room of her own? Amaranth honestly didn't care at all where she was put, as long as it was fine with everyone else. She didn't exactly sleep, but she could rest and dream like others and rather enjoyed it. They were mostly memories, but someone as old as she couldn't pull them out at the drop of a hat. So they faded to her subconscious and in her dreams she was able to revisit her families and her old life. The spirit often wondered what happened to the descendants of those she had watched over and served for so long, but she had no way to find them. Their belief in her and the old gods had died out long ago and her powers had faded. Perhaps her new family would be able to restore some of her strength, she thought hopefully, as long as one of them believed she could do what she promised. "What are fish and chips? Have you ever had them, Flannery?" Amaranth asked after a few minutes of silence, looking from Iain to the deer with a smile, trying to include them all in some sort of conversation.

x x w a f f l e s x x w a f f l e s x x ⊱⊱ F ▸ L A N N E R Y ⋮ or Fawn, the Red Stag Skinwalker ░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ Organising her suitcase with Amaranth, it was really reassuring when the woman took her hand again. It really did make her feel quite calm and very much accepted, like they were already family even though they'd known each other for barely moments. Flannery enjoyed closeness and community, so knowing that this woman was friendly and calming, it meant the world to the little Skinwalker. Perking up as Orion spoke to them, confirming that it would be quite alright to stop by to get some knitting supplies after food, the little deer smiled warmly as Orion shared a secret with them - Iain liked to knit too. About to make a small comment to maybe break the ice between herself and the other twin, Orion was yanked away and it was clear that he didn't like this secret being revealed. Shrinking back into herself a little, eyes downcast, she looked back up once a question was asked; what did they want to eat? Amaranth answered first, and somewhat surprised the fawn. She didn't need to eat? What kind of being was she? Most curious now, Flannery was about to answer herself when Iain piped up once more, making a rather abrasive comment. It quickly shut Flannery up once more, and she simply walked along by Orion's side - Amaranth had left to go walk alongside Iain, most likely in an attempt to cheer him up.
Both hands holding her suitcase handle with eyes downcast, she walked in silence. Amaranth had cleared up the fact she didn't eat children's souls, but she'd yet to clear up the fact that she - while not actually human - had the same dietary requirements while in her natural, human form. Sighing quietly, feeling quite nervous and skittish now, Amara's voice caught her attention and she quickly looked up. "H-Huh?" She stammered out, eyes wide and blinking, totally caught off-guard. Oh, she'd been asked if she had ever had fish and chips! "Aye, I 'ave. But ney from a shop. Tha people tha' cared for me made crumbed fish and twice fried potato wedges." Feeling a little bit happier that she knew what fish and chips were, she continued. "I didn' know what they were a' first, so they explained. Y' see, while I may nah be human, when I'm in mah normal, natural state, I have tha same dietary needs as one." Looking up to Orion, she looked to Iain too. "I'll eat anythin', ta be honest." Shrugging, her voice carried well with the lilt of her strong Scottish accent, the dropped vowels and letters here and there mixing with the high and low notes of her tone. While she didn't feel the happiest right now (Fawn was quite worried she'd upset Iain and make him angry), she at least didn't feel as scared or as backed into a corner as she did in the Hotel.
The pent up energy that wasn't allowed to escape while she was in the Hotel soon manifested itself in the form of two small doe horns back in her hairline, hidden mostly by her slightly wavy curls and the general fullness of her bangs and hair. Still, the small transformation (along with the tail hidden under her floaty, girly dress) was enough to calm her body down for the moment. Being able to change would be a godsend, but she could wait until they got back to the twins house; she'd waited this long already, a couple more hours or even longer wouldn't do any harm. Feeling her stomach rumble silently, Flannery shifted the suitcase to one hand so the other could reach out for Orion's arm as they walked further into the marketplace. Being in a place with so many people was a little frightening for the woman, having avoided society and it's ugly buildings most of her life, but she knew there were at least three people she could trust, two more than another at the moment. As long as she stuck by them, she knew she would be alright and safe. 'You won't be going back to that place, so don't fret. Orion will look after you.' Repeating the thought a few times, sudden smells from the food district were beginning to tantalise Fawn, and every so often she stepped out to arms length away from Orion to sniff certain stalls laden with home-made goodies. Flannery wasn't game enough to linger and leave the man's side, but she did keep a hold of his arm at all times, and quickly hurried back to his side when she felt any resistance. Oh the wonderful smells of food, how she had missed it.

![User Image]() ![User Image]() ![User Image]() ▷ Iain was bored by the slowness of the day. He had been on a plane, spoken to a woman he couldn't lure to bed, and was forced to stand around while the women shopped. While others may have found the events of the day exciting, he was considering how much more entertaining it would be to watch paint dry. Once they sat down, he would find himself watching waitresses walk about, but until then, he opened the door to a little restaurant, the scent of fried fish having pulled him in. Iain held the door for the other three, not really caring if they thanked him or not. He was really more or less still angry with his brother, but it had mixed right in with his other thoughts and feelings, making it just another thing he ignored. Thinking to steal his brother's thunder, but not sure what it was the twin thought about when he spoke, he quickly tossed his words together and let them out of his mouth. "Amara, if you haven't tried them before, we can buy you some to eat as well. It's not as if we need to watch our finances or anything." What he said could have been smoother, but when he didn't have other intentions, his speech seemed to be the same near cruel tone that went along with him everyday. Whatever it was his brother did to sound so kind and thoughtful, Iain was oblivious to it.
Orion rolled his eyes at his brother, leading the girls over to a table, and pulling out their chairs for them. What his brother lacked, Orion was sure to make up for it. He sat down, retrieving a menu from the edge of the table and skimming through it to see if the place put pepper on their fish n' chips. Neither one of the boys were a fan of the spice, not only sneezing, but becoming quite ill from ingesting it. In a way, you could say they were allergic, but it wasn't deadly to them. The texture didn't help either. The twins hated finding grains of sand in their teeth without any explanation as to how it got there. The blue clad twin picked out something he wished to drink and set the menu back down on the table so that the girls might look at it if they wished. Just because Iain said he wanted fish n' chips didn't mean the girls had to eat the same thing. "I suppose while we have a minute, I can answer a few questions you might have about how we live.
"The two of us live in a beach house near the highlands on Scotland, and we both walk down to the beach quite frequently. Iain only goes down at sunset to swim. There are four bedrooms in the house, so if you ladies would like your own room, or you would find yourselves more comfortable in a room together, is up to you. You can go into my room whenever you want, I don't really mind, but Iain's room is the only place in the house that's off limits. Other than that, you are free to do as you wish so long as the house isn't burned to the ground." He smiled as a waitress came over to the table and he ordered two fish n' chips, no pepper, and two iced teas, before looking to the girls to order what they wished. While he spoke for his brother at points, he found the girls had their own voices and were capable of answering questions for themselves, unlike the twin who was more preoccupied by watching the waitress lean over the table to collect the extra menus. ◁

Ⱥmaranth Amaranth was simply happy that Iain hadn't shoved her away and she smiled a bit to herself. Murmuring a 'thank you' as he held the door open for them, having observed so many human interactions that she felt comfortable assuming that was the proper response, she followed Orion and Flannery after waiting for the cranky twin to fall into step. Despite his tone, she smiled a bit when he said he would buy her something to try. Even if she didn't have to eat, she was able to and was always curious about what things tasted like. "Thank you, I'd like that," she told him softly, giving him a gentle smile. Where the twin was all thorns and attitude, the spirit next to him was soft and gentle, almost the exact opposite of him. As Orion pulled out the chairs, Amara sat with another quiet word of thanks. She ended up next to Flannery and smiled at the deer, tucking some hair behind her ears in a maternal gesture and touching her antlers gently. "They're very pretty, Flannery," she told her quietly, giving her a smile. The girl was exotic and very pretty and Amara was more than happy to bask in that. Setting her hands in her lap, she looked over at the menu and then over to Flannery. She had no idea what it said, having never picked up on letters. She saw them, certainly, but living through so many changes and languages and countries...it tended to get confusing after a while, especially when she had never needed to know how to read before. "I'm afraid I can't read it," Amara told the deer softly, sounding almost embarrassed.
Listening to Orion talk about their home, Amaranth brightened back up at the mention of being near the ocean. Iain had said they were and to have it confirmed was wonderful. She craved it, Poseidon almost called to some days, the memories of the coast and cliffs and crashing waves haunting her in her dreams. As he continued and said they could do as they pleased, within reason, she smiled widely and nodded, to show that she was listening. When the waitress came by to take their orders, she listened to Orion and then realized that they were waiting for her and Flannery to order. Not able to read the menu or know what anything was to start with, she smiled at the woman. "I would like what they are having," Amara decided with a small nod. Once Flannery had ordered and the waitress strode off to get their drinks, the spirit settled back down in her chair. She was excited to see their home and explore and do what she could to make it a happy place. Neither of the twins seemed very happy at all. Flannery was just adorable. Amaranth had no idea what anyone thought of her right now, but as long as no one was cruel to her, she would assume they were fine with her and be content with that. Unused to affection of any kind, especially receiving it, she couldn't miss something she didn't know about and had no desire for much physical contact, though she wouldn't have objected to it either.
Amaranth turned to the deer next to her with a curious look on her face, going to brush some hair from her eyes and realizing that the way Iain had pinned it, it was still out of her face. "Flannery, would you like your own room? I don't mind sharing or having my own," the spirit told her with a smile. It really was up to the deer, as she had no preference. If Flannery wanted company, Amaranth was more than happy to oblige - it was what she was there for, after all. And if the deer wanted her own space, that was fine with her as well. She looked over to the twins with a smile, giving the deer time to think and not wanting to pressure her to decide now if she didn't know. All she wanted was to let Flannery now that it was her choice. "I won't burn anything down, or go snooping through your private rooms," Amaranth promised. Despite Orion saying they could go in his room, she saw no point to it and respected private space. All humans needed it and she was used to watching fights about other intruding on it. Wasn't that what started wars, after all? At least the ones she was familiar with.

x x w a f f l e s x x w a f f l e s x x ⊱⊱ F ▸ L A N N E R Y ⋮ or Fawn, the Red Stag Skinwalker ░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ The walk to the eating place was a nice one. Flannery was enjoying being outside, Orion made her feel comfortable and while Iain wasn't really talking much and seemed almost grumpy, Amaranth's bubbly personality made up for it. In short, the little deer was incredibly happy to be outside again, and if anyone was perverted enough to look down to her rump, the wagging of her tail was much more noticeable through the folds of her dress. Was it because she was happy? Partly. But it was mostly thanks to her feeling so full of energy and life again. Reaching the quaint little building, Flannery followed behind Amaranth and followed Orion to a table near a window, feeling quite taken aback that their chairs were pulled out for them, like they were royalty or something. How quaint. Smiling a little as the other woman sat next to her, she blushed suddenly as fingers found her thick locks and pushed them out the way, bangs moved to reveal the small deer horns just back from her hair line. Clasping her hands together in her lap, all Flannery could do was shrink into herself and giggle slightly in embarrassment. The compliment was very welcome, and the smile amongst the blush on her cheeks gave that away, and it took her a few moments before she could lift her face and not blush.
As menus were given, Flannery just stared at the letters. She could understand most words, but reading smaller print was harder. Generally the little woman just picked out the key words and tried to guess the rest. In this case, looking for anything with 'fish' and 'chips' was the mission. Hearing Amara speak softly to her, she nodded, and in her warm red eyes, Flannery admitted she understood. While she was a step up from not being able to read, it probably wasn't good enough for others. The fawn made a mental note to find books at the twins house so she could teach herself to read better, so she could teach Amaranth. A bonding exercise. Having had nothing to bond with since being dropped off, the woman wanted to re-connect with people again, but her shyness was going to be a big hurdle. Flannery, while she did like being around people and animals, found it hard to create that first connection. Not to mention trust these days was a huge issue, especially with watching humans kill her family, friends... As well as the farmer dropping her off because of money issues. Flannery wanted to trust Orion, Amaranth and Iain too (even if he seemed rather grumpy at the moment).
A voice pipped up, and turning to look at Orion, she listened to him speak. They lived in Scotland (oh happy days!), it was on the beach and Iain only swam at night. The house was big and they could choose if they wanted to sleep alone or in a room with each other. Iain's room was off-limits but they could go into Orions if they wanted to (Flannery couldn't see why she'd venture into his space unless he was in the room) and they could do what they wanted, basically. Feeling pretty good at the thought she wouldn't be forced to do things - the deer was quite happy to clean on her own free will or if asked - a woman came over to the table to take their orders. While the twins ordered the same thing - fish and chips with no pepper on them - she noticed that Amaranth asked for the same thing. Suddenly feeling a little self-conscious, Flannery grinned shyly and shuffled on the spot for a moment. "Ca' I get tha crumbed butterfish wi' a serve of chips a' garden salad please?" It took a moment for the waitress to register what the woman had asked for, clearly thrown by the thick accent, but she soon smiled and wrote it down, and asked if she wanted a drink. Water was ordered, and the deer felt quite proud of herself for speaking up so well.
Jumping a little when spoken to by Amaranth, Flannery blinked and stared at the woman for a minute, cocking her head to the side while trying to comprehend what the woman was asking. Looking down to her knees, the answer to the deer was obvious, but she didn't want to sound like she was desperate for any kind of friendship so quickly, so once the other woman vowed to leave their house unharmed, Flannery gently touched Amaranth's forearm with delicare fingers. "I'd like ta share a room, if ye don't mind." Blushing again, the deer forced herself to keep her gaze on Amara, even if her cheeks continued to deepen in colour. "I've always been aroun' others, an' my tribe was very close. We relied on each otha for safety and friendship, companionship an' everythin' else. It'd be nice ta have tha' feelin' again." Turning her gaze to Orion, Iain and back to Amaranth, the deer smiled quite happily, feeling super proud that she'd revealed something about herself so freely. There was always the chance that there would be follow up questions, especially since she'd mentioned the fact she had been part of a tribe .
There was just one thing she wanted to clear up first before any question was raised. "I promise tha' I won't wreck, break or go places in tha house tha' I'm not s'posed ta. I do promise ta only change forms when outside too; indoors is no place fer animals. I will only change outdoors. Don't you worry abou' tha'." Nodding once for good measure, the woman folded her hands in her lap and waited for anything directed her way. But questions would have to wait, since quicker than the deer expected, the smell of fried breadcrumbs, potato and other tantalising scents came closer, and their food was placed before them. Taking a moment to stare at the food, it was so nice to smell such simple but delicious things again. Home cooking from the farmer's wife had become a favourite of Fawn's, and even the hotel's food hadn't compared. But this, this smelt quite nice and very appealing. Waiting for the others to eat - mainly waiting for Iain and Orion to start eating - Flannery picked up her cutlery and began to eat. Even with the deer genetics and instincts running through her veins, the woman ate surprisingly delicately. The farmer's wife had been rather proper, and had taught the scared woman how to eat properly, how to dress properly again, and just a few extra things so she wouldn't feel uncomfortable in society again. The deer was so very thankful to have been re-taught things she thought she'd forgotten, and while the feeling of betrayal still felt fresh in her heart, she wasn't about to hate the farmer for what he had to do in desperation. Slowly tucking into the crumbed fish, Flannery noticeably perked up once more; the taste was fantastic. The salad, a little lacklustre, but the chips were nice and tasty, and the deer felt incredibly happy.

![User Image]() ![User Image]() ![User Image]() ▷ Orion smiled, glad to hear that the girls would not cause too much trouble, and what they did would not be on purpose. He seemed to like the two, but he always left room for a bit of pessimism in his thoughts, though the optimistic part always seemed to overshadow it all. There was always a possibility that Iain might make one or both of the girls upset, and vise versa. Whenever Iain was truly upset about something, usually mad more than sad, he was a bit difficult and sometimes pulled Orion into a trick or cruel joke on someone else, something that the calmer twin didn't favor. In most cases, the one with fake glasses often had to clean up after his brother, and actually made good pocket change on empty beer bottles that Iain left about every now and again. That was something he would need to tell the girls. He didn't wish for either one of them to stumble upon a beer bottle and accidently break it, sending glass into the bottom of their foot. It was bad enough that Orion had come close a number of times. Another thing would be to get Iain to stop drinking so much whenever he didn't like something.
Iain wasn't a drunk. In fact, he truly only drank in times when he was feeling down about one thing or another, and he did within his own home as to not make his brother have to drag him from a ditch somewhere. It wasn't as if he intended to get pissed when he started, it was simply something that seemed to happen as one thing always leads to another, and in Iain's case, another. The twin looked down at the women, watching the two converse before food was set before them. He had been fairly hungry all day, and actually hadn't bothered to eat anything the night before, choosing to play with his dessert instead. He shot a glance at his brother, wondering if it would all stop now that other people, women, would be in their home. He wouldn't mind one way or the other. He was capable of finding himself entertainment for the night and many nights to come. After so many, many years, one might think he would tire of spending his nights bouncing from bed to bed, but in all reality, he could never grow tired of variety and change. There were so many different types of women out there, whether they were married, single, thin, tall, short, curvaceous, young, experienced, and many more. Iain found it hard to believe that after all this time, their were still different species and races he hadn't bedded yet. A shape shifter, preferably one that didn't need to strip its flesh first, would be fun to see.
His mind wandered back to the food in front of him and he picked up a piece of fish with his fingers, not caring to use a fork as the deer chick was. After all, Iain enjoyed finger food, and hated when his teeth accidentally grazed a metal fork or spoon to create that bone chilling sound. "'Tribe?' That's what a group of you are called? I guess it's better than a 'pod'. Freakin' whales." He rolled his eyes a bit, not really all that interested in what he was saying, but he felt that the conversation would take too much of a drastic turn if he was to change the subject so suddenly to whatever it was he wanted to talk about. In all fairness, Orion would probably stop him from commenting on the waitresses silky smooth sway of her hips and tight skirt. Instead, he stuck to whatever the women were discussing.
Orion watched Flannery take a bite before he glanced over at Amara and nibbled on a chip. His mind had been preoccupied with thinking how strange it was that the people in the United States called them 'fries'. They were fried, but a cupcake wasn't actually baked in a cup. He looked over at his brother when he commented on the names of groups and whales. Ever since the twin could remember, Iain had hated whales. He didn't know why, but it had something to do with when they were seals. "Well, a group of seals is called a 'harem', and since neither you nor I have a collection of women stashed somewhere, it doesn't really fit either. Now we just have to worry about whether or not one of us is going to become territorial. Amara is the lucky one who doesn't have to deal with weird animal behavior. Flannery is a stag, too, which means in a few weeks, we might as well just section off the house into three areas and call it good. Amara will be able to go where she pleases, unless she wants a section to her house as well." Orion smiled, truly worried on the inside. With the three worrying about who got what and who was the boss, the house truly wouldn't be the same as before, but Orion know that if push came to shove, Iain was probably the alpha, or whatever it was one wished to call it. Iain jumped in then. "It won't be like that, Orion." ◁

x x w a f f l e s x x w a f f l e s x x ⊱⊱ F ▸ L A N N E R Y ⋮ or Fawn, the Red Stag Skinwalker ░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ Stopping with the fork stuck in her mouth, Flannery blinked at Iain as he commented on her comment about her tribe. Was that odd to him? Considering her kind were humans that just happened to be able to shape shift into animals as long as they had it's pelt (or something that belonged to the animal, like a horn or tooth), it didn't seem strange at all. Groups of humans were 'tribes' after all... Tucking back into her food, ignoring the rest of Iain's words about whales, she picked up her gaze from the plate of food to look at Orion as he spoke, commenting on how groups of seals were called 'harems', which didn't fit since they didn't have females stashed away. Frowning a little bit, confused, Flannery had never heard the word 'harem' before, and wondered why Orion had mentioned it not fitting since they weren't hoarding females. Eating slowly while listening to Orion, the fawn stopped once again with the fork in her mouth as her cheeks slowly went red. They were talking about the changes that came with Springtime. Slowly turning her head back to her food, her cheeks burning brighter as Orion casually mentioned that maybe they should divide the house into three to accommodate for her own behaviour as a Stag. It wasn't until Amaranth casually asked Flannery if something was up that the woman pulled the fork from her mouth and let it drop to the plate, jumping slightly thanks to being lost in her own thoughts. Shaking her head initially, trying to say that nothing was wrong, the shaking slowed and became a subtle nod.
"O-Orion... Ye won' 'ave ta section up tha house." She mumbled, her body turning towards the man that had taken her from the hotel, showing that she was talking to him, even though her eyes were downcast to her fingers tangling in the skirt of her floral print dress. "I-I'm more doe than stag... I o'ly become territorial if I think I'm threatened..." Lifting her eyes to look at Orion, then Iain, and then Amara, they quickly dropped back to her hands. "I-I'll probably jus' spend tha first week hidin' in my... Um, Amara and I's room... After tha first week I can control meself, but... Well... I guess just like any otha female mammals... Spring... Well..." And blushing bright red, the deer really wasn't too keen on mentioning that she went into heat in Spring. For the first week it was almost unbearable, but once she got past that week, the desire to mate generally died down. The worst thing was, because of what she was, the signs of spring lingered right up until the seasons end.
Her hormones usually sent her into an emotional spiral; happy and giggling one minute, angry and quite upset the next. While she never cried since her siblings got shot, she did often pout and storm off like a hormonal teenager. For those with sensitive enough noses, her scent would become noticeably different; it would become sweeter, almost more enticing than usual, her body trying to attract the ideal mate through scent. The only other annoyance was the change her body went through - her hips widened to show she was able to produce offspring, her bust swelled to prove the same point, and hot flushes came and went at the most random times of the day. While the deer was quite sure she'd be alright if she could run and hide every so often in deer form, she was concerned about being in a house with two males that had animal instincts themselves. While Flannery was quite sure that Orion wouldn't try anything, she just hoped that Iain was the same. Amaranth was the lady he'd chosen, and she was the one that Orion had chosen, so she felt more loyalty towards that twin. To her, Iain was Amara's friend and she had no intention of taking the male away from her new sister figure.
"Do you like company in Spring? Or would you like to be left alone?" Looking up from her fingers still squeezing her dress as Amaranth asked her a rather good question, Flannery stared at the woman for a moment, before giving a shy grin. "Tell ye the truth, I don't even know any more. It was easy hidin' in the forest... But... It migh' be nice ta have company... while I'm hiding..." Nervously chuckling, it was a good idea. Flannery was quite sure she didn't like females in that way, and having Amara to confide in while she kept herself locked away for a week was probably going to be a good idea. The girl could keep an eye out for her, and tell her when the coast was clear to go get food or run around. "I-If you could watch ou' for me, tha'd b grand." There was always the chance that the scent of Orion would find it's way to her in the end, since she was quite sure his scent was the one she'd become most familiar with, but if she could use Amara's scent to hide it... This might be an easy spring to get through. Looking up at Orion, then Iain, the deer suddenly felt like she'd been talking way too much about her own issues, and quickly dropped her head, hair flopping over her shoulders to hide her blushing face. "Ye.. Ye don' 'ave ta section up yer house... Is all I'm sayin' " Rubbing her legs, her feet bobbed just a little bit, feeling quite guilty for making it all about her for the moment. All the woman had wanted them to know was that they didn't need to worry about her getting territorial in Spring.
