"Nice toast, Boss." Realgar raised the bottle, and his eyebrow, at the toast... though the eyebrow was more because of Zinkenite's expression, which he wished he had on film. Priceless. Really priceless. He glanced at Leto secondarily, curiously. Something about that grin was a touch... er... he wasn't quite sure. "Hey." He added, not sure where he was supposed to go from there. Especially after the near tussle earlier with another of her court. "Not a bad get together, eh?"

If there was one person she could count on for a friendly welcome from, it was Howlite. Even if she'd hated a person (which, thus far, Howlite had proven incapable of), she'd grin and bare it if it was her role to do so. However, Howlite didn't dislike Leto, at all. One might even say she DID like her. A gloved hand shot out, resulting in a comrade's grip before becoming some sort of complicated handshake. "Hey, girl." She grinned. "You look like s**t." The freckled blonde would still hit that, though, and not in the way her fellow Generals would have preferred. Speaking of parties, though, she raised her brows to the lieutenant, amused. "Now that'd be a sight. Me, though, I'm going to find someone warm to crawl into bed with and pass out." Simple agenda for the remainder of her evening, but Howlite was a simple gal.

To Zink's speech, he glanced up just as the man looked at him, and Wolframite only narrowed his eyes. Histories weren't easily forgotten. He was doing as he should for the greater good, but his opinion on the matter had been expressed to the General-King before. There was only the thinnest line of tolerance between him and the DMC, and even if they sat through a million pizza parties, he would never forgive them. In short, he would never get along with them as he did the other officers.
Another officer (Realgar) commented on the speak, and Wolframite raised his can just slightly. "Yes. Very pretty." He said bitterly, before tearing piece of crust off his pizza.
Then Howlite mentioned sleeping with someone and he just looked away. Now they were just getting a bit too close and open here.

The pizza, Bismuthite had no problem with - free food was never turned away. The beer however...well, he'd have to have Wolframite thoroughly clean his mouth when they got home. When it came to alcohol, Bis was picky. If it tasted like piss - and dear lord did beer ever - he wouldn't touch it.
"I'm surprised the traitor hasn't already been taken care of. Doesn't seem like something the Negaverse would let go so easily," Bismuthite replied to Wolframite in reference to Lina.
Looking back, he couldn't see why something would be so easily let go - they'd been quick enough to throw them through some wacky door back when a small group of them initially rejected the alliance with the DMC as some sort of punishment. It seemed uncharacteristic to let a known traitor walk amongst the forces of Light.
But then again, he wasn't in any position of power, so it wasn't his call to make.
Bismuthite showed little enthusiasm at the toast - like a few others, he would never fully accept the DMC. He was still waiting for the day they turned on the Negaverse. It made things tense, but...it was to be expected.
Now at Howlite's notion of crawling in to a warm bed with someone, that was something he could agree with. He looked over to Wolframite, a devious smile on his face, but then turned back to his pizza. Bismuthite did try and stay on his best behavior in uniform, but just this once, with the lightness of this gathering, he thought he might take his chances.
"Not sure about passing out, but a warm bed does sound nice, doesn't it, Wolfy?" Again he grinned at his General.

Leto's attention briefly turned to Realgar, a Negaverse Agent she hadn't met yet. "Name's Leto! Vice Captain of the DMC" She said quickly, before adding. "Th'last time the Court got together at my apartment, I slept. And uh, some of 'em aren't very fun...." She whispered. "But don't tell 'em I said that!" She added and laughed, a genuine, happy laugh- which was something she didn't do much of lately. And then her attention was quickly turned back to Howlite. She gripped her hand and shook it, snickering at her comment. "We should come up with a secret handshake." Random. "I feel like s**t! Though it's hard to care right now, when we're celebrating." She licked the blood from her lips and then wiped whatever was left over with the back of her gloved hand, taking another sip of beer. Leto couldn't help but look directly at Wolframite when he spoke, and smile at him. She knew full well that he was bitter towards her and her Court, but it was expected and she didn't blame him. The least she could do was try to be friendly. Her smile turned to a quiet giggle at the name 'Wolfy'. It was strange, seeing the Negaverse in such a relaxed environment, making quips at each other. Whether or not this alliance was meant to be permanent, Leto was actually growing to like these people.

Bismuthite would feel a nice high heel hit his shoe firmly at that comment, while Wolframite chewed on a piece of crust. "I'd rather take a shower and sleep." He glanced to the pink-clad officer who he was currently grinding his heel into in a way that said This is the office. Mind your rank. "Maybe your can help Howlite out?"
Was Wolframite joking? Maybe it was the beer. It certainly didn't taste too terrible after tasting blood and starseeds. In fact, he was rather thirsty.

Watching the group Benitoite leaned forward the grab another slice of pizza, the second one of the evening, and settled for nibbling slowly. He wasn't as hungry as he had been, though the second slice would fill up what space in his stomach the first had left empty, he'd wind up curling up in bed with a full stomach tonight.
While in the process of nibbling his meal he looked around for something to drink, he saw the beer being passed about, and sighed to himself. Seemed like there was nothing else around to drink, and as much as he disliked beer he was thirsty.
He didn't know many of the members around him, not personally, and the comments and such threw him off like no social event ever had or could. It took him some moments before he turned his eyes on Leto and spoke up. "Leto, can you toss me something to drink." Yes, he'd deal with the beer and only the one.
Taking stock of his friend he tilted his head a bit. She did look like hell. "You got plans for when you get home?" He knew he was planning a hot soak and bed, forget taking a shower he was taking a bath damn it.

Bismuthite was thankful for the thick toe of his shoes, but the tightness did make him wince a little. Still, it was amusing. He always did like ruffling the general's feathers.
"No matter how much she may look like a guy, still not my type. No offence, General Howlite," He looked to the general as he offered the quick apology, "Maybe you'll change your mind later," Bismuthite said again to Wolframite.
All in good humor. Maybe he liked the abuse.

"Someone got his cornflakes pissed in..." Realgar noted, in a tone of voice that was only partially confidential, to Leto, before adding, and offering a cautious handshake. "Realgar. Resident Gearhead." He grinned to Howlite, who'd made an impressive show, and created an mental image he could appreciate as well. "That doesn't sound to bad either, though the someone's I've got waiting all have four feet and fuzz. And one of them might have barfed a hairball down the drier vent if she gets too bored." Wolframite was a general, but he sort of recalled he'd been pretty much living with a bowl of pissed in cornflakes so long he was pretty sure the man didn't know the difference between pee and milk, and couldn't have identified a good win if it came up and chomped him on the a**. He'd be one of the easiest to show up when Realgar managed to gain some rank... A plan he still hadn't forgotten, merely delayed.

"Not my type, either." Howlite's wry tone lacked any trace of an insult, and the blonde instead finished her second beer. The Captain was clearly Wolframite's pet, albeit not the smartest pony to keep in his stable. Fortunately enough for the pink cowboy and his beribboned boyfriend, she was extremely difficult to offend. " Someone's got to play 'boy' around here." Her raised brows implied the real men were often busy doing something else. Getting to her feet, Howlite cut her participation in the afterparty short. "I'm out, y'all. Leto, if you want a 'port somewhere on my way, let me know. I just need to chat with Zink for a minute." The lanky General moved away, to set up a time to discuss the night's events with the General-King. They had a lot to talk about.

Zink glanced at howl and then nodded tersely, he paused to hand Realgar the last of his drink trusting the shop teacher not to be too offended by having it ‘shared’ with him after a sip or two. “After you General.”

"Maybe." He told Bismuthite, before glancing as Howlite and Zinkenite left the table. One had to wonder what they were talking about to need to be excused from the table, but he tried not to make it personal. Instead, he set the can of beer down and then touched one of the blades he had sitting beside him, before pressing his hand on the design and watching them vanish.
"I wonder if the senshi will have fewer meetings. Could help keep them from being organized." He mused, before picking up his pizza again.

Bismuthite shrugged.
"Maybe they'll just form smaller meetings and find some other way to get their information around. I believe by now we've learned not to underestimate the enemy..."
He'd never respect them, but he knew better than to underestimate what the senshi were capable of with the right organization and motivation... All the same, organized senshi did make him more nervous than a few lone rangers.
"It wasn't like they'd been having many big ones too often before though, right? Not large enough for us to sense like that and be able to crash..." He thought for a moment, "It wouldn't be such a bad thing if they were stupid enough to keep having large meetings. We'd get to crash their little parties more often - always fun - and take more of them out at once."
Not that he thought they'd be dumb enough to gather like that again anytime in the near future. What a pity....

"Or they could try and see if we do it again and set up a trap." He was always wary of traps these days. Everything could be a trap or go badly, and he was glad that this one had been an advantage for their side. In all, it was their victory, but he couldn't help but dwell on the dangers of their actions. There was always repercussions, and he always wondered what the other side would do.
Touching his brow, he glanced down the table. "We haven't had parties like this in a long time." When was the last time they had a pizza party? When Nealite was still around? That thought stung hard. So many of them were gone. So much had changed. So many long since buried or...turned traitor. The old group he was joined into as a rookie were just ghosts. He was a General now, Zink was a General-King, and Lina was gone.
Rubbing his good eye, he breathed out. "I feel old."

Leto grinned and tossed Beni a beer, surprised that he actually wanted an alcoholic beverage. "No plans at all, darlin. How 'bout you?" Leto's attention span was short-lived and flying all over the place- she couldn't help but laugh at the casual back-and-forths between the two Generals and Captain. Then when Howlite offered her a ride, so to speak, she nodded at her. "No worries doll, I don't think you look like a guy! And I'd love that. You can leave me anywhere with a mirror, I'll find my way home!" Home to well... Nothing. It had been a while since she'd seen her roommate and any boyfriend she may or may not have had was long gone. Apparently it was time that Quinn got a cat.
