Roch, on the other hand, had completely forgotten the embarrassment aspect and was staring at a pair of panties with cartoon characters on them. "Look, Amphi, Paco the Singing Taco!" he said, holding it up to her. "Hell, all I get are hearts on mine, why do ghouls get so many designs?"

"I am not sure? Because we like different things?" She stared at the singing taco, narrowed her eyes and gave him a simple..."No Roch..." She blinked again and then flushed....
Leaning over, she tugged at the belts on his pants. "Really, you have hearts on your underwear?" Clearly the mermaid wanted to see by the tugging, which would've meant undressing him in the store. Her hand stopped tugging....
She flushed and then flailed away, taking her intimates with her to the counter. "These please....Roch did have any you wanted to put up here?" Good jack, she never was embarrassed about this sort of shopping but...with Roch, she wasn't even sure.
Her face flushed as she looked the ghoul at the counter in the eye...

"She needs these!" he said, dropping a pair of panties with a guitar on them on the pile. "Hey, I got an idea," he said to Amphi, leaning against the counter as she was checked out. "Why don't we get you a chain? Cuz uh... well..." he flushed, not even thinking of the panties. "I figured I would um... give you somethin."

Amphi looked at the pair and smiled, so fitting from the boil and watched as the total was rang up. Once the cashier had finished, she handed over the silver seeds and smiled up at Roch, "It's funny that you got those! Desiree might get jealous cause you were looking at other guitars!" She giggled, completely innocent when she added, "At least she won't have to worry about you playing it..."
She studied him as he leaned over the counter, cocking her head curiously. "A chain?" Like the one's Rikki wore? Or a necklace chain? Or Chain belt? "Well...okay..." She smiled shyly at him, tagging the bag and again taking his hand in hers, swinging it back and forth. "What kinda of chain? what kinda of gift? Oh Roch, you've already given me so much...You don't have to give me more!"

"Well, y'know, uh..." he grinned at her, his fingers entwining with hers. By this point people were watching them with amusement. "I ah... thought you might wanna have somethin... I mean, it's cool if you don't, but--" He tugged her out of the store, stepping into the main part of the maul. "I figured y'might want um... my pick ring?"
He pulled off the ring on his middle finger, showing it to her. "But it's too big for you."

She cocked her head at how he hesitated before pulling off his ring and holding it out to her. Her heart immediately swelled with happiness and she took a deep breath, bright blue eyes looking right up into him.
"Really? Something of Roch's I can keep?" Well besides him...She took the ring and studied it before nodding, attempting to slip it on her finger. It was much bigger then it looked as it dangled there.
"A chain so I can wear it next to my heart..." She leaned up to kiss him on the chin. "Let's go find one so I can wear it and everyone will know I'm yours..." She was was just content with being Roch's...yes she was.

He grinned, then leaned down and kissed her on the lips, not caring if people were watching. "Yeah," he said, pulling away and pulling her to the nearest jewelry store. "But this time I'm payin, since it's a gift, got it?" he told her.

She reached up for the kiss again, pulling him back down for another before letting him go and following him into the store.
"Okay..." Was all she managed to say as she studied the ring more, clutching it in her hand and looking around. "Will you choose something pretty?" She was too busy being all cute and flustered and shy now. Especially concerning Roch.

"I thought you'd help pick," he said, tugging her over to a display. "I'm thinkin' the really big ones are for guys, though," he told her. "But any of the others would work."

She looked down at the display and stared at the chains, all simple design. The big ones though were TOO much for the mermaid and made her smile. "Do you want a big chain? I hear a lot of boils like.....the um...Bling bling?" She chuckled before pointing at the chains..
"I like the small skinny one (c) or the one at the end (h)..." She looked up at him, "What do you think?"

"Well, it's sort of a heavy ring, and the one at the end has a heavier clasp, see?" he told her. "But I already got a chain," he told her, reaching up and tugging on his. "Want to get that one?" he asked, going back to the chain she was looking at.

"That's true...Then the one on the end is good!" She gestured the attendant over. While Roch talked to the person, She had taken to playing with the ring....and then his belts....and then his vest....
She just liked to play with all the metal objects...
"What time is it!?!" She blinked, digging her phone out and looked at the time..."Oh Roch, we have to hurry if we want to make it to the Cakes!"

"Alright," he said, paying for the chain quickly and turning to take the ring and string it before slipping it over her head. "There, c'mon, let's go see the cakes!!" And he tugged her out the door, leaving the man behind the counter to wonder what sort of date the boil was taking her on, anyway.

She squeaked as he snugged the chain on her, fingering it and then waved goodbye to the attendant. So far...BEST DATE EVER.
"Ah....We are really close!" she looked at the crowd that was gathering a floor and then at Roch, "Hopefully we can get to a place where we can see!" They practically flew down the stairs to the bottom floor and hit with a wall of people.
"Can you see?" Amphi was just a little too short to even attempt tippy toes to peer over at the haunts who were setting up their cake stations.

"Yeah, but let's go this way," he said, tugging her off to the side. "You can see from here, but y'gotta look through here, see?" he told her, showing a gap between two of the stands. It wasn't the best view, but it would do until people started sitting down in the stands.
There were all sorts of beings bringing in boxes and such for their work. Absently Roch moved Amphi so she was standing in front of him and wrapped his arms around her waist, snuggling her as he watched.
