Levi shook and shook but the darn thing was just hanging on for dear life. It smelled funny. Levi felt like she needed to drink a barrel of candy corn juice to get the taste out of the back of her throat. The rose was just happily clutching on with its wee leaves. Finally, it found a sexy nurse of its very own to <3 The ghoul heaved a sigh, taking a break from her gentle kicking to look at West. She stared. And then stared some more. No comment on the male chest that jiggled in West's face.

Clearly Ren was very gung-ho about this, since he barreled away in his nice little bear costume and basically left Vaith to fend for himself. It was only when he reached the factory that he realized the reaper was no longer with him. He turned around, brows drawing together in confusion, until he found Vaith with a mouthful of chocolate. Rolling his eyes, Ren lumbered towards him (this costume was really very cumbersome), and proceeded to drag Vaith back with him to the factory.

Levi was watching. "I, uh, I dunno what that was. I swear."He started toward her, intending to help with the whole leg-humping flower situation, when he felt something tugging at his own leg. The rhythmic humping sensation wasn't immediately noticeable through the costume, but West eventually frowned down at the thing, smacking it in its variegated face.  I don't know! Levi kind of whispered not so quietly back to West, unprepared for the rose revealing it's face. Oh Jack, it had a face. I'think it's tryin' ta' hypnotize me 're somethin'. Those eyes were just too big.

West stared into the face of the rose and saw DOOM. "nyooooooooooooooooooooooooo," he said, dragging his own rose forward. It tore at the leg of his bear suit, ripping a neat hole in the thing's knee. Things were bleak. They were not going to make it out alive. But then, the singing man came. A flowery shriek tore out of his rose's horrible maw, and it dropped to the ground, writhing in thorny terror. "AHA!" West grabbed the singing man, carting his warbling a** over to Levi's side and watching with satisfaction as her rose fell away as well. "C'mon!" he said, hurrying toward the factory. Once they were safe, he bent at the waist and rested his stubby bear hands on his knees as he caught his breath. I dunno'know what that was... Levi fell back on her tail, the white tendril keeping her in a slouch as if she were resting against a wall. ... but that thar was some pretty nasty stuff, I tell ya. Catching her breath as well, Levi didn't bother with a thanks right now. He knew the horror of what that was. He knew.

The factory is much larger close up, and the red brick feels odd. Soft and almost plush? The scent of chocolate and other sweets comes from within and Desu-chan seems to be giddy as she lets you rest along with the others. Green bushes cover you all from the eyes of guards but… they look like… Fat human babies in diapers with wings? With little bows in their pudgy hands and a quiver full of arrows on their back you almost can’t take them seriously. That is, until Desu-chan sends a Teddy Weddy their way from her kimono. At first they makes strange, (and what you assume to be) human baby noises of happiness. But as the Teddy Weddy becomes more terrifying, they scream, and an arrow is sent flying into the minipet. Set on fire, it expands and expands until finally, it explodes in a violent burst of glitter. A gleeful cry from the winged babies they dance in the shining remains. They really are much more threatening than they look. The trick or treater points up. Pairs of eyes are placed on the walls, batting their eyes lovingly at all who pass. Once more, Desu-chan sends a Teddy Weddy out. The eyes zoom in at the minipet, distracted. Grabbing each one of you, she sends you flying with a toss onto the roof, safe from the eyes. The scream of the guards and then Desu-chan climbs over the wall. An explosion of glitter happens behind her but she doesn’t look at it. Finger to her lips she leads you down the roof to a heart shaped hatch. She puts her hand over her mask to muffle her voice further. “CANDY HERE. MANY GUARDS. YOU EXPLODE IF HIT MANY TIMES. WE IN CHOCO-CHOCO-BOKO-BOKO SECTION. IT LESS PROTECTED FROM ROOF. THEY THINK WE TO TAKE DOORS. VERY DUMB IDEA, DOORS.” She shakes her head at it. “THERE ARE FEW BUT WE NEED TO TAKE OUT YEAH. TAKE ONE EACH. I MAKE SURE THEY NO SEE WITH EYES.” Opening the hatch, it shows a vast stockpile of candy boxes, and as the trick or treater jumps down, you can tell it’s safe. The chocolate production line can be seen far at the other end through a series of lace like nets. Every so often you think to see a pink charge run through the lace. Best not to touch it. As you hop down, there really are few guards. She nods to you and the others before taking off the first layer of her kimono, showing a very pink and white Lolita outfit. She manages to waltz down and the guards don’t even bat an eye lash. You have a second to wonder if she isn’t actually a native here before the giggles of the guards can be heard coming your way. Best to scatter and take out one of the guards like Desu-chan said! Quote: Each person has their own guard to take out. If you fail to beat your guard (hit 0 HP) Desu-chan will have arrived to finish the job. This can be handwaved, (basically she’d come in and KO them and leave), or if you prefer that another students who has already beaten their guard help you, you may do that. Guards are not killed when beaten, only knocked out. Each guard follows the basic states below unless otherwise noted in the special abilities. 15 HP 5 auto damage for each turn (yes, even using learned abilities will take HP.) Each student however has their own special guard with a special ability. Levi-Chocolate slime- does 3 damage each turn, but on the first move deals 10 damage with a chocolate goo attack Muka-A baby guard they deal 8 damage, but take an additional 1 damage for each hit. West-A teddy bear with an ax. Deals 10 damage per turn, but takes 3x damage from each hit. You can steal the ax by rolling 1 d4 (one time attempt) Even you steal it and odd you don’t. If you steal the ax, you may roll 2d12 with normal -6 modifier. The ax has five uses before it breaks. Ren-Tsundere girl- She somehow avoids your touch. You have a damage modifier of -8 Leo- Crazy flirt guy- You get the feeling you’ve seen him before… No matter. His flirts are crude and can send you off balance. Every other attack, you take an additional 2 damage and have a -8 damage modifier. (ONLY EVERY OTHER ATTACK YOU MAKE) Thackery-Secretary ???- She is small, dressed in what you can only think of as underwear and fur. She also has this… weird familiar look to her. She- you know why she looks familiar. She resemblance to a certain Amity staff makes it hard to hit her. Not because you don’t want to, but she keeps flirting with you. -8 damage modifier. Bea-Really Cool guy- In leather, he is just too cool to fight. Roll 1 d4 to determine if you even can fight him. Even you can, fight normally. Odd- you can’t. He’s just too cool and attractive to fight. You’ll have to get some help for this one… (You may try to engage him 3 times. If all three times you fail, see loss) Freya-Gummy bear- Attacks just bounce off this guy! Every other attack is an automatic miss. Vaith-Sweethearts hoard- You must eat them to beat them. They taste like sunshine, love and sparkles. Normal battle mechanics. Oh, but you do get to change an odd color after you eat them, (your choice of color). You also get a few small boxes after you beat it. Maybe it’s the horde’s eggs? You may take 5 after victory you monster. Alex- A regular fat baby guard. Lucky you! I AM TRYING TO GIVE A LITTLE EXTRA TIME WITH PROMPTS DUE TO META PLS TELL ME IF THIS IS AN ISSUE

Following after Deus-chan and watching what had happened to the teddyweddy, Levi decided it was wise to not be found out here.Dissipating was one thing, but this was becoming a mass of disturbingly colorful glitter. It would be best to avoid that. She was, needless to say, startled by being flung by Desu (the ghoul had power in her!), but kept low while paying attention to the ToTers instructions. This was a stealth mission! Nodding once the briefing was over, Levi watched the loll ghoul take her leave and the guards that ambled over to them. Levi didn't need to decide who she was going to attack first. A blob-like critter of a creamy white substance squirted some of itself at her. ACK-! The slime wasn't watery so much as like a wet clay that oozed down her nurse disguise. It smelled sweet, and somewhat familiar. Chocolate? The creature was made of chocolate! Taking on as best a crouch position as she could given her current attire, Levi prepared to attack. Wiping away some of the chocolate from her cheek, Levi claimed her kill opponent. I'got this'one. Jamming a hand into the mass of chocolate slime, Levi ripped what she grabbed back out, followed by her other hand following suit to take it apart bit by bit. There was always more of it, but she figured this would slow it down. Levi's HP: 40/50

Okay, well, this was certainly getting interesting. Alex had decided fairly quickly that he wanted nothing to do with the cupids and their little arrows, but it seemed like he really had no choice in the matter as he was tossed up into the air then told what the plan was.
Okay, okay. Taking out a guard. He could totally do that.
After a little bit of searching, the zomboil found himself face to face with a small and chubby man who was waving his arms in an almost threatening manner. Alex felt like perhaps he should punt him, but he just felt really badly about it.
That was, until he was stabbed with an arrow. His lips pulled back from his teeth in a snarl. Jack damnit that had hurt!

West watched in silence as Desu-chan detailed all of the factory's security measures, and only grimaced slightly in surprise as he was tossed up onto the roof. There was no time to feel like a dopey, underfed scareling. It was time to go. Go time.He chose his victim solely because of the bear's massive ax. It would be his, oh yes. The demon tiptoed the long way around, intending to grab the weapon when the fuzzy guard wasn't looking, but when he was steps away from his prize, the bear swung around, more quickly than West thought possible. The ax sank into his side, or rather the side of his bear costume, and West resisted the impulse to shout at the thing. West's HP: 40 / 50 West's Damage: 0 Teddy Bear HP: 15 / 15 Teddy Bear Damage: 10 Status: West was trying to grab dat ax, but he did not. Quote: A teddy bear with an ax. West grabbed the ax just under its blade and pulled it from his costume, frowning as it took a hunk of stuffing and fur with it. He doubted that anyone in Valentine's looked as beat up as he did right now. Hopefully no one would be paying that much attention. Once he was free, the boil grabbed his opponent by the face and gave him the headbutting of a century. The impact was... nothing in West's opinion, but the bear went down like a bag of pillows and love, its head twisted at an unnatural angle for someone with a spine. He nudged it with his fluffy foot and it took a shallow breath and sighed adorably, hugging its ax. Just knocked out then. Mission accomplished. If a chocolate slime could backhand, it just did. Or at least some variation of unidentifiable limb separated from the mass of slime to swing at Levi from the opposite side it generated from. -the Jack?! Levi retaliated with a backhand of her own. Take that!Levi's HP: 37/50

Ulmuka was not expecting to have to battle in Valentine land... and certainly not a sickeningly chubby child with wings.
Apparently his own cherub costume was just not convincing enough. He lunged for the creature but it giggled and fluttered easily out of his grasp.

Muka's swipes at the giggling babe were useless as it threw glitter in his eyes. The strix twirled and squawked in distress as he tried to see.

The next time the slime tried to surprise her with a mysterious growth of goop from some place along the chocolatey surface of its gushy body, the thing did so while wobbling. It looked to be (speculation of course) dimming out of consciousness as she fought it. Levi avoided the glob of a limb, wrinkling her nose at the trickles of chocolate sprinkled onto her as she ducked out of the hit and drove a clawed hand back into the gut of it. Seemed to do the trick. The stuff oozed to the ground, collecting on the floor like a chunky melted chocolate truffle. Wiping her hands together and then on her skirt, Levi made her way back over to West to see the carnage subdued critter he'd been fighting. Both hands on her hips, she nodded with approval. Not bad, boil. Levi's HP: 34/50
