Ƞix Gallen XI call your name XBut it does not reach. XSo I will keep calling XUntil my love XReaches your heart X ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ What the hell was Rednal thinking?! Nix could only watch as the powerful attack not only hit the Shade but also knocked Genji against his home. His body was already in serious condition and if this kept up then he would be killed for certain. Before the girl could move to his aid a blinding flash of light stopped her. A spear of light struck Kusuri and her body fell limp right before her eyes, it was hard to tell if it killed her or not.. Faust couldn't heal her but she was positive he would keep her safe until they could help her back to her feet. Teddie somehow fused with his Persona and moved on the offensive as did Amelia after she yelled at Rednal. She remembered that strange breath from back in Tartarus, it should keep the Shade held back especially combined with Teddie's onslaught.
Nix had to move now while it would be distracted and focused on the attacks. Someone had to look after the broken body of their pink headed friend. The snowy haired girl darted off to the side, heading towards the ruined household. Without her Lead Boots on she felt lighter on her feet thankfully. Genji was still a ways away from her and a straight running target could be an easy target if she didn't move in some fashion. So she sprung into the air, spinning in a sort of.. Barrel fashion? and landed in a crouching pose of sorts to make the landing easier. 'I had no idea I could move like that.. I should keep that in mind.' She glanced back at the Amagai Heir and frowned, he still didn't look so well..
The girl stood up straight and glared at Shade Minori. What kind of creature could harm someone to this extent and then hang them on display? "I hate to do this to someone who looks like my friend but.. You've pushed me too far." Nix lifted an arm and held her hand out towards her target, her fingers bending to look like a gun. Electricity arced and bounced down her arm and gathered over her hand. In her spare hand the blue tarot card floated down above it. "Zionga." The card was then shattered and a powerful blast of electricity flew towards the Shade. ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ♫ Quote: Zionga: (Target: Shade Minori) (Elec Boost) (Elec Amp) Anglachel the Elf Blade: Deals double damage against pure shadows and demons, but also if damage is reflected onto allies. Shade Minori, the Dancing Puppet "...I'm just a puppet, after all..." SHADE BATTLE THEMEWith the scarred girl falling, there was a strange delight that filled the stitched-up Shade, and though one side of its arms remained fairly limp, severed from the strings that bound her, its body lifted mechanically and danced a little where it stood, twirling like a little girl pretending to be a princess before them. Its laughter was dark and musical, its left arm brushing over its hair as it turned round and round, before bending at the waist forward, head lower, the giggle lowering into something almost dangerous...something with a terrifying delight. It...it feels s-s-so...good! I'm...I'm...choosing...I'm...!" her stitched up grin stretched and tore, a childish glee splitting her face and she giggled, hand moving strangely to cover her mouth as if in fear of someone hearing its happiness, knowing that she was enjoying this so very much she could hardly contain herself...but no sooner had her hand moved to cover than a crackle of electricity as strong as any other raked down the lines and jerked her body powerfully backward, head thrown back in a wild, cackling mixture of pain and delight, "AAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! I'm the one...in CONTROL! I finally...I finally...N...no...I can't be...Ame-chan won't...let...me..." Her glee began to melt into a shuddering despair, the limp half of her body dangling a reflection of her hung head, the almost pitiable way the creature looked in contrast with its deliriously excited dancing moments before...but before she could sink too deeply her eyeless head raised, snapping disgustingly to the side at the sight of her toy missing from her feet, following the path that the berry-haired heir had been tossed to where a snowy-maned girl stood in front of him to protect the fallen boy.
"Y-you...you can't! He's MINE! ...My...!" her body twisted unnaturally, the strings attached straining against her tug towards the fallen boy, and a wave of electricity sent a painful jolt through her, voice screaming in a mixture of pain and indignant suffering...but even as her waist cracked, ankles twisting unnaturally in the direction of the injured young man and her erstwhile protector, there was an assault that kept her grounded...a chakram slashing at her body and tearing through part of the side, stitches already working to repair the damage there, then an Almighty blue power that crashed against her and snapped her upper body back with a disgusting snap...a Fusion breath of Fire and Darkness crashed into her body and the puppet was pushed back a few steps, crying out against the immense power, the limp arm on her body freezing over entirely, a blackened ooze splattering from little gashes the icicles left upon her body as it struggled to repair its own wounds. Lightning crashed down a moment later, snapping her head backward so that her waist seemed broken, and then her neck in-kind...but even with that damage, the sobbing, writhing, screaming Shade before them was on the mend, limbs and body snapping back together, bending upright as the strange sort of mixture between laughter and crying escaped it. "Why...are...why can't...I...?" Popping into place upright, the shade's arm suddenly snapped up with the palm outward, and for a moment it seemed as though it intended to repeat its last devastating attack...until an icy ball of bear fur crashed into the front of the dancing marionette a smash of ice like a car-sized sledgehammer pounding against an iceberg exploding into the space between them as both bear and Shade were thrown back by the immense impact. Teddie would land on his back, but the Shade remained upright, visible as the little flakes of snow dropped back to earth between them. ...Only upright was a bit of a stretch, the neck twisted sickeningly to the side, shoulder popped and arm flailing limply behind it, ice dripping from the limp appendage as it snapped its ankle and knee on one side back into place, setting it down precariously upon the Earth.
"Why...I...why am I...just...a puppet...?" the words escaped like a whisper, carrying over the air to the ears of the Investigation Team...and from the empty black mat where the eyes should have been, an obsidian trail of 'tears' dripped down porcelain cheeks to frame her face...the stitched-up smile all the more sad at the sight of them, "Why can't...I live...my own...life...?" Her neck snapped back into place. "Why can't...I be...f-f-free?" In a moment her shoulder popped, limp arm dangling back at her side as her wounds slowly mended. "Ame...Ame-chan...don't..." she muttered pathetically, "don't..cling too tightly...I...it...hurts...everyone...gets hurt with...m-m-me...I...I'm the reason...I...I don't..."
"WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!"
Behind here there was a flash of light reflecting off the thin surface of a string, the thing snapping suddenly into the back of her limp arm, electricity surging through it as the arm suddenly sprang to life, snapping wide to either side, symmetrically as a scream tore past her lips. In an instant, Light Talismans surrounded the team on either side, flashing with a Heavily damaging power meant to exorcise the darkness within. A moment later the shade had been pulled back into an attacking pose, as if the puppet held a spear within its empty hands...and with a forward thrust a feeling not unlike a spearhead piercing into the stomach slammed into each member of the team. All of the pain and the anger and the hatred of the horrifying creature revealed, its childlike glee replaced with despair and hatred and all the little emotions that its better doppelganger wanted to hide boiling to the surface. It recoiled after the pair of attacks and glared with its empty face towards the talkative silver-haired boy and the snowy-haired girl each, a deep and complete frown curling its stitched up face...a stark contrast to the slasher's smile, a horrifying contrast...
And about its arm, the eight circles of light began to whir incessantly...a fever pitch, audible nearly...but it wasn't just one arm this time. It was two. Quote: Judgment of Light - Heavy Light Damage (All Enemies) [1/3 chance of KO] [Order: Nix, Amelia, Minori, Rednal, Faust, Teddie, Karu] [Result: KO, Safe, KO, KO, Safe, Safe, KO] Syr's Thrust - High-level Phys strike (All Enemies), returns half of damage dealt to allies as healing energy.

Faustus Necromonium and Teddie, as Kintoki-Douji, Reborn!! Teddie fell back on his back as he rebounded off of the shade, having connected. As the lights knocked out several of them, and Minori's special attack slammed into them, he was left with a dilemma. What do I do? What do I Do? "Teddie, focus on bringing the others back!" Faust called, starting to pant heavily as he dashed towards the snowy haired girl, breaking his card. "Come back to us, Gallen." he called, casting a Recarm to bring Nix back to them. Unconcious on the battlefield was a bad place to be..... Teddie rolled his eyes at this, annoyed that Faust got to Nix before him. He wanted to revive her with hugs again, (And most certainly not "accidentally" grab something), but he moved too fast. The bear instead moved over to the brown haired member of the team, lifting him back up. "Upsie daisy, Rai-Kun." Teddie called, his energy focusing to revive the poor, normal Senior. He was the newest member of the team, after all, and he didn't have the same amount of power as everyone else. "You gotta be beary prebeared to handle this...Hang in there!" And Karu would be slightly buffed too! Hopefully enough to help compensate for the power difference... Though he didn't like the looks of this.. Quote: Teddie: Bear Hugs! Ni- Karu. *eyeroll* Faust: Recarm: Nix Divinity: (Reason of Shijima) Boost to speed. (2/4) Mythos Rising: 15% Health Regeneration per turn. Speed incense.

 Aleister Crowley
"I've heard enough from you. I think I can design your inner workings." A flash of black crossed the ground as the team's oldest member (by a wide margin) leaped upwards, having blurred by everyone else in the second they were struck by the attack. "Even if you came from Minori, she doesn't seem anything like you. I've spent years observing people, and I have a keen eye. So I'll tell you right now, she's nowhere near as weak as you." Crowley raised his hand above his head as he came down towards the puppet that resembled the blond, his teeth grown to vicious daggers and his fingers turned to claws that looked capable of shredding flesh and cloth alike. In the moonlight he was another person, even if it was something he'd never asked for. But he would never trade this power away while he had a reason to fight, and as one who'd seen the unreserved manner in which demons acted, he knew that there were things that simply couldn't be rationalized with like humans. He knew that sometimes, confidence and the friendship of those you trusted were the only things that could sustain your faith in the test of time. "If you're a puppet, then let us help you by severing these strings!" Crowley shouted, arcing just over the Shade's shoulder suddenly, away from what the initial target appeared to be...and as blood trailed behind him, or whatever the crimson glistening in the light of the moon was, he lashed downwards with his claws, attempting to sever the strings that held her aloft. Even if this was a monster, and no mere figment of his friend's troubles, he would make sure it was bound no longer before he let it rest, even if the one taking her away at the end of the day would be none other than the Grim Reaper himself! Quote: Crimson Shredder: 4 hits medium Phys+Dark. Attacking the puppet's strings.

A warm sensation washed over her as she heard Faust's voice calling out to her. Strength returned to her body as she forced herself to her feet, her head was still fuzzy for a few seconds until she snapped back into clear thought. "Thanks, Faust.. Sorry about that. I'll try not to let that happen again." The snowy haired glanced at Genji to make sure he wasn't harmed again by that attack and luckily he was still where he was. Someone else came to join them, Crowley. Something clicked in her mind when she saw what he was aiming for, the strings! This Shade was a puppet and those strings were keeping her up. Nix was still feeling tired and in a great deal of pain but if their combined attacks could snap those strings then they could gain the upper hand.
Something Amelia said before echoed in Nix's mind before she crushed the tarot card. Her Shade was there too?! Now that she thought about it Minori's Shade kept mentioning 'Ame-chan'.. Was she the one holding the strings? Cutting the strings would no doubt lure her out but they were going to be attacked either way possibly. "Here goes nothing.." The card shattered in the girl's hand and her Persona appeared before her, lashing at the strings with three powerful hits. ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ♫ Quote: Blade of Fury: (Target: Shade Minori's Strings) (3 Hits!) Rednal Ak'ThiasWhen the brilliant light from Minori's attack cleared, Rednal's body was lying on the ground. The power of exorcism was a powerful one, and though he was resistant to it, his resistance wasn't absolute. The devastating light of judgment had struck him through his defenses, and while he could resist the pain pretty well, the ability to knock an opponent out immediately meant it didn't really matter how tough they were. Along with the KO, a number of his power boosts vanished... and his arm twitched slightly. "Amelia..." the boy said, sounding pained and exasperated as he got to his feet, his wounds knitting shut as dozens of little mouths split off from the main bits of Yidhra's hair and literally pieced him together again. "Let's get this straight. I'm protecting you." Maybe that was why he was making himself more of a target... if the Shade focused anything onto him, then it was all the less that would be striking any of his friends. It was dangerous, yes. That was the whole point. Yet there was a difference in the madness between him and the Shade. The creature created from bits of Minori was nothing more than true darkness... his was insanity that he'd conquered and bent to his own ends. And if his magic wasn't quite as powerful as it had been, well, that didn't mean he wasn't capable of overcharging it anyway. A sharp crack echoed as a bullet shot through the card he'd flicked into the air, and one of the mouths in Yidhra's hair opened wide. When the mouths were open, just briefly, many different things were visible. A fleshy throat, a pitch-black void, a view of somewhere in space, a mad world that the mind couldn't comprehend... everything and nothing, all at once, courtesy of paradoxes made real. At the same time, something came out. It regurgitated up the throat, it launched from the void, it formed from chance in the midst of madness... which one was real? Heck, did it even matter? Whatever insanity lay within the paradoxical Persona, it seemed to settle on a shape once it entered this world, and a missile detonated the moment it reached Minori, filled with all the power Rednal had been able to squeeze into it despite the beating he'd taken. It wasn't as powerful as the Nuclear Winter had been, but it was still a top-ranked spell in the hands of someone who knew how to bring out its potential, and his natural affinity for nuclear power had given it plenty of juice. "Yidhra is my power, the power to face life's challenges." Rednal said quietly, as much to Amelia as himself. "Those who want freedom just have to reach out and take it! If you can't do it alone, then gather allies until you can do it together! Don't give me any of this sissy, whiny complaining about how you can't live your own life! Step forward with your own feet, face your problems, and just deal with them!" A complete denial of the Shade's words, it seemed. "THAT'S the way you take control of your life, and we're not going to lose to a pathetic puppet who can't even control herself!"Quote: Rednal's Actions:-Resist Light (1/2 damage from Light attacks) -Null Phys (No damage from Phys attacks) -Ari Dance (Reduce enemy power/accuracy) -Regenerate 1 (+2% HP/Turn) -Nuclear Boost (Nuclear +25%) -Nuclear Amp (Nuclear +50%) -Enduring Soul (Revive from KO with Full HP) -Spell Master (Reduce cost of Magic skills by 1/2) -Nightmare (Forced Shutdown via KO; 1/2 Recharge; Reason: Akuma) -GPR (All Stats Up slightly, sans Luck) -Nuclear Winter (Recharge: 2/3) -Action: Nuclear Missile (Target: Shade Minori) [Severe Nuclear Damage to All Enemies] (Nuclear Boost) (Nuclear Amp) (Magic Incense) (GPR) (Spell Master)

Kar u Raiku As quickly as he was felled by Shade Minori's he seemed to be brought back up by one of his allies. "T-thanks, guess I was a bit careless there or something." Karu got back to his feet with the help of Teddie, it almost felt like his puns were more painful to him then the actual attacks from the shade although he couldn't complain too much since the blonde had got him off the ground without much hesitation. "Yeah, I'll do my best Teddie." His eyes caught the actions of the newest arrival to the fight with Nix's attack not far behind. He found himself letting out a sigh of disappointment, not in his allies but in himself for not thinking of something so well sort of obvious. With a quick motion he pulled the set of daggers from their scabbard. They weren't the most powerful of things, but if there was something he had that could actually cut a marionette's strings it was the blades. He wasn't really a fan of getting to near the otherworldly figure, but it seemed like a sound idea attacking the thing that keeps the puppet more aloft. He went in for a fast to attack so he could get in fast and out of any physical attack range of the shade just as quick as he had come in for his strikes with the blades.Quote: Karu's Actions:Haseyo Blades- Kill Rush: 1-3 Light Physical Damage [Strings of Shade Minori] Passives: Matarukaja, Sukukaja 3/3

Shade Minori, the Dancing Puppet "...I'm just a puppet, after all..." SHADE BATTLE THEMEOne look at the Shade heralded danger; one arm full of spinning light had given rise to an attack that felled an ally so deeply that she could not rise again, and now that selfsame light whirred around both of the monster's arms in anticipation of an attack that would lay waste to even more of them. Its power only grew, the stitched-up body twitching with the lightning that snapped, running from the fiend's body all the way into the darkness beyond where their eyes could read shapes, and with each disgusting convulsion there was a sense that the danger could only deepen if something didn't happen soon. They were being pushed, perhaps too far by this thing, and even the most resilient among them were vulnerable to the sheer immense power gathering in its two arms. And the mood had shifted even further from the outset of the battle, what had been a creepy sort of childish puppet was descending now into a terrifying despair, a deep and frightening anger that boiled to the surface of the marionette, still bound by the strings of its puppeteer, threatening to spill over the edge and consume them all beneath its raging waves. Waves of light, of dark, of whatever element they feared the most...its deceptively thin and frail form bobbed from side-to-side, a step forward towards each of them ominous, the senses of those who were attuned to such things likely going wild with the pure, undeniably intimidating aura of it. There was no forgiveness or remorse within this monster, there was hatred and anger and sadness that could not be reasoned, and now it was ready to unleash all of those pent up emotions, with all their power, upon whatever it could...the objects of its pain...the things that called themselves 'friends' while binding it to the pain of this world. "You all...I will...free...I will be...I'm...so...the guilt..." it muttered words, syllables, incomplete thoughts gathered from the girl's darkest thoughts and collected into this monstrosity of a being that lay before them...slowly, both of its arms raised with the tugging of little strings from its wrists, limp hands aiming powerful howitzer guns of energy at all of them, "I hate...it...hate...I hate...Kaz...I...Ame-chan...I hate...hate...I hate hate...I hate it...I hate it, I hate it...I hate it, I hate IT I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATEITIHATEHATEHATEIT!"
A blinding light emanated all at once from the Shade, the weapons on its arms reaching a fever pitch again as it aimed them at its foes, the power ready to unload upon one, two, maybe even more of them...?! Maybe this was the very END of them?!
...
And it was only when a flash of crimson, white, and black slashed along its backside that one of the two lights dimmed...an arm and leg both falling limp at the side of the puppet with the power fading instantly at the paralyzed side of its body. Perhaps this moment was the cue, the limp shoulder, wrist, the side of the puppet that Crowley's surprise assault had crippled giving the Team a hint to attack not the puppet itself, but the strings which bound her...to cripple her, to render her motionless, useless without the malevolent thing that manipulated her with its claw-like fingers. From the throat of the puppet a scream erupted, painful and fearful and angry at all the same time... "EEEYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" It barely had time to think or recover when Nix's Blades of Fury slashed over the blond plaything's shoulder and cut the wire on her back and other leg, bringing the monster down to a mere pair of connected strings on a single side and a mostly-limp body hanging only by the back of the neck and the arm where a single version of its most deadly attack remained, aiming up at the team before it with a simmering hatred and despair quivering upon its stitched-up lips, tearing at the strings even now that bound them, "How...how COULD you?! Ame-chan will...Ame-chan...AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!" Another blinding flash erupted and the power burst from within her arm like a missile launching from a silo or a harpoon from a cannon, snapping across the distance of the field with a bright wave of power that could not be contained, nor stopped, only endured at the utmost risk of death. Yet even as the attack burst forth, a missile of a different kind descended upon the puppet, connecting just as a slew of electric-chords snapped out of the blackness and tried to connect themselves to the puppet...the intense nuclear energy singing their ends and stopping them mid-flight, earning an intense hiss from the blackness behind them. And the Shade itself stumbled back, unable to stand, waist breaking sickeningly to the side as the puppet's working arm tried to pull its broken-looking, limp body back together, back to some form of upright position, its eyeless face pulled into an expression of absolute sadness and desperation. It only needed to pull itself right...to correct its body for the puppeteer in the shadows to stick the chord back into place and lift her so she could stand...just a little, just a little bit more!
Her crawling fingers were stopped by the physical tear of blades through the string controlling her wrist...only her head sticking up for a moment to see what may yet come from her attackers. Those monsters, these bastards, they were the source of all her pain! Weren't they? WEREN'T THEY?!
"Why...WHY?!" she cried, lips curling into a heart-wrenching look between anger and sadness, "Why won't you let me KILL YOU?!Quote: Mikaboshi Star - Shimmering starlight spear that analyzes and pierces a foe's weakness with eight concussive strikes of Medium Damage. 100% accuracy. Rednal Ak'ThiasRednal raised one finger up as the Shade looked up pitifully, slowly raising it above his head. Heat and light burst from his fingertip, and he slammed the attack downwards onto her as part of an All-Out Attack. "Because you hurt my friends." the boy said coolly, refusing to allow his heart to be moved by the creature's wretched state. "Sorry, but I'm not a Saint. I can't just forget about what you did, or forgive your for it. If you even have any kind of soul, maybe somebody who's better than me will still take pity on you." And if the Shade's existence ceased absolutely, with nothing else that followed, he wasn't going to shed any tears for it. Nothing that hurt his friends so badly deserved any of his care... so, naturally enough, he wasn't going to give it. Teddie blinked in an exaggerated manner as the puppet writed and screamed at them, Crowley popping in to attack at the strings of it, and the others picking up on the gesture. Ohh, i get it now! he thought, watching the Shade tumble down. All their enemies were down, and it wasn't moving yet. Despite Rednal's hasty entrance, Teddie knew these things had procedures. "Just say the Word, and it's BEAR TIME!!" he called to Faust, Raring for Battle. Not that Faust was anything like Sensei...but he was just the closest. Faust nodded firmly at Teddie's enthusiastic call, before starting forward as well. "It's Down. Now would be the perfect time to strike!" Faust called out to everyone, apparently directing the battle on their side. He was rushing forward himself, preparing to strike when everyone else joined in. Amelia M. Heartilly
It was getting to her at this point in seeing the Shade dance with glee with a limp arm, singing to herself on how she was delighted to have control, to have someone under her own hand. She reacted violently towards Nix, Amelia stepping forward but stopped when she saw the electricity growing more and more violent onto the Shade. Her fists clenched into tight balls as she watched at the display of the Shade crying out by the violent strings on her, Amelia starting to grow horrified at what she saw before looking towards Minori. There was conflict in her eyes, a look of guilt and sorry, fear and... "I don't..." She could not say anything after, her eyes shooting back towards the shade that continued to cry. Amelia, at that moment after hearing the pleas with her name, she took a step back. "I..." This was too much to take, a cry escaping Amelia's lips when the merciless light took over her body and gave her nothing but pain. All the while her mind was spinning when she wobbled and tried to keep her balance, breath heaving and eyes looking up towards the Shade of Minori. She continued to cry, mutter, the strings still being violent on her and it was starting to tear at the violet-eyed girl. Just as Amelia stood up, with her card in hand, another scream of pain came through, a stabbing feeling right through the stomach by an invisible blade. Blood leaked through her mouth and sprinkled on the grass as she coughed out, her head swirling in pain as she felt her body throb. She cursed when Rednal said that he was protecting her, her hand reaching to see blood on their fingertips. "You're horrible at it.." she coughed out. The Shade continued to scream, continue to weep, but the frightening frown that she saw on its face got to her and soon those hands lifted once more. Violet eyes widened, seeing the Shade looking right towards Rednal and Nix. "There's a time and place for protecting, Rednal! Get out of there right now!" She called out. But there was a sudden flash of another who came, another who was a part of the team and came just in time. The Shade screamed out, Amelia seeing the strings torn by the brave Crowley. It was then that everyone has taken their onslaught onto the strings that bound the pitiful Shade, the thing screaming and crying out. But was getting to Amelia at this point was its show of fear... Was she more scared of... her?! Finally the strings were taken out, only the head being the finally thing lifted as it tried to bring itself together, the face shaking with anger and sadness. Amelia bit her lip and tightened the grip onto her rapier, her heart sinking at the sight, but knowing that this was something that they must do. There was a chance that the..other... might appear. But, it looked like that was a risk that they had to take at this point, and Amelia only prayed that it did not show its face as they took away the Puppeteer's precious marionette. "This could be our only chance." she said. "Let's take it, now!" Quote: Amelia: This could be our only chance. Let's take it, now! >>X: Attack O: Relent Faust, Rednal, Teddie, Nix, and Amelia Agree to an all out attack. Others?

Minori Koroko Was her life...like that? Strings pulling at her, making her so miserable but useful at the same time? Did she depend on everybody to move...? On someone to make her own decisions and show her the way? It was painful seeing the Shade struggling like that, attack after attack making her body to crack and bend, to stitch back up and to snap back up with a smile, ready for whatever order was given to her. But... no! She wasn't... ... Teeth gritted as the blond resumed her position, ready for any other attack that came from the broken doll's way. And they did come, more Light spells and Syr's very own attack crashing against the team with a hatred that hadn't been there before. Something was changing about the Shade, the girl could notice, by the way the thing seemed to rejoice at the idea of having control, but fearing what the puppeteer would think about the fact...fearing the strings, or the lack of them around her limbs...they were getting to the bottom of this fight, she could feel it. But...perhaps the wounded Shade was more dangerous than before, both arms raising and shining with the Light that had dropped Kusuri before. Fear for her teammates nested on the blond's stomach, a step taken forward as the Shade screamed and shriek...As Ame looked at her...the attack was just at its peak. And that was when the strings were sliced off, making the little puppet to tumble down, almost helpless.
Minori brushed the blood off her lips, green eyes startled at the sudden revelation, just as more attacks directed the strings way hit their mark. And with that, her darker self fell on a heap, not before throwing out another of those deadly attacks at Crowley. Lips pursed, promising she would look after the older member of the I. Team after this, before turning to the others, a strong nod sent their way. “Let’s end this!”

Kar u Raiku Karu got a small smile seeing that their set up of attacks had knocked the puppet down for now, although they did lose the man in black that had shown up got taken down by the same attack that the Shade had cast not to long ago. Hopefully he could get picked up by one of the people that seemed to specialize more in healing magics, they needed all the muscle they could get with people getting knocked out as fast as another was healed. It seemed like everyone was ready for a major group attack. "Let's do this!" he called out trying to motivate the team a little, even though they weren't exactly lacking in motivation. Mainly he just didn't want to keep quiet. Quote: Karu: This is the perfect moment to strike, let's do this!... >>X: Attack : O Relent

Shade Minori, the Dancing Puppet "...I'm just a puppet, after all..." SHADE BATTLE THEMEIt was a cloud of smoke, dust rising all around the area where the Shade had fallen, and from the center the sounds of slashing, pounding, grinding, and slamming echoed throughout the area at the front of the Amagai Family Compound. The ground practically shook with the cacophonous efforts of the Investigation Team to take advantage of their weakened enemy, and as their blows landed one after another, the poor fallen puppet could only writhe and squirm beneath their attacks, little pieces of its porcelain flesh cracking, sewing themselves back together, only to crack again with the subsequent attack. It was a moment of pure pandemonium, only ended at long last by a scream...long and pained and angry...but it wasn't from the Shade which had fallen, no, it was on the other end of the wires...the last of which had snapped at the full-court assault from the persona-using team. It was an inhuman, almost animistic scream, but the voice was oh-so-feminine, and oh-so-familiar! Eyes might jerk towards the trees at the sudden crackle of violet and blue lightning, shimmering and sparking so brightly that little bolts, peals of power would strike out of the wooden pillars and onto the grass on the outskirts of the courtyard. The entire grove seemed filled with this black, oppressive power, blue energy shimmering, glowing, bearing down intensely upon everyone gathered as its cries grew more and more frantic. ...The Team had angered something, something dangerous, and from the depths of the trees there emerged a long, black finger...the rest of the thing still cakes in the shadows...but that black finger, more like a harpy's claw, extended with shivering malice towards one figure in the open space before it...first the fallen blond puppet, as if it still wanted to reach out and dig its icy grip into her body and cling to her tightly...then it fell upon another, a silver-haired boy with a mouth that never quit running. It was a promise of ill intent, a promise of hatred and of the fear and pain it would inspire.
"You! How DARE you...speak as if you were ever on the level of her! As if you were on the level with me! How DARE all of you TAKE her from me...!" a sudden burst of anger from the creature sent blue sparks crackling out of the trees and bolts of electric dancing along the floor to the tips of the I. Team's toes in barely-contained warning, "But you!" Her finger stabbed, accusatory towards the silver-haired weakling angrily. "I would have only killed you, trash, but you just can't shut up! ...You only stand in the front and get beaten up because you're too stupid and weak to do anything else! You act like a moron because you selfishly want to be somebody you're so very not! You want to be like Seta...that disgusting goody-goody hero who thinks he's so ******** great even though he's just a commoner who got lucky enough to have talent. But you are the one who makes me sick! Sycophant! Half-wit! Bottom-feeder! I'll BURN YOU ALIVE and then I'll smile at your charred corpse before I cast you aside like the refuse you are! ...I'll make you pay, suffer, cry for your mistress to absolve you for what you've done today, but I'll never forgive you until you're DEAD! ...And do you want to know why?" Her anger simmered to a boil, the very electric aura around her seeming to bubble, to crack and steam with murderous intent as her black finger curled back into the shadows. "Because in this world only those with control get to choose their destiny...pigs like you only roll around in the slop until you're let out of your pen, wishing desperately for sweet, sweet control...to choose your job, to choose your school, to choose who you love, to choose when you die, but you can't, can you?! Not without control, and only two types of people get to have it...of which you are neither and I am both! The rich...and the STRONG!" Deep within the trees there was a sadistic laughter...the blue crackle beginning to recede as the laughter grew...and just as the laughter erupted into an ear-piercing shriek there was a sudden explosion of power that stretched out into the sky, darkening clouds that had been gathering without notice overhead spat out a bolt of blue lightning that sent sparks crashing high into the sky, the trees within the small grove threatening to catch fire from the sheer intensity, the heat, the power...but for those who could sense, if only for the moment, that was the last of it. And the intimidating power from within the trees had dissipated with the nearing end of the Dark Hour...leaving behind nothing but the heat of her lightning and the depths of her hatred behind her.
...
"...A...me...chan?" a sad, broken-sounding voice suddenly sounded back at the center their attention had been drawn away from, if only for a moment, and where the marionette lay face-down in the dirt there was a mixed sound of something akin to laughter and crying from the pathetic-looking thing...its cracked skin still trying and failing to mend itself together again, its limbs twitching, but not moving where it lay, "Why...are...you leaving...me?" Suddenly, the body seemed to convulse...or was it...shaking? With despair, with desire, with something...its body began to shake as the stitches suddenly stopped their work and the body itself twitched over and over, as though sizzling...its voice still crying out in broken syllables and unfinished thoughts that it couldn't get past its lips. "Am...I...too weak? Aren't...I...pretty...enough...why...why can't...I...why...am I...I can't...I don't want...why don't...I want...to...be...?!"
"FREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"
And then, as though stricken by lightning and coming to life for the very first time, the body...without placing its hands or feet down or jumping at all...seemed to leap from the ground, jerking at high-speeds back into the air where it landed on its feet and swayed dramatically, its stitched-up lips snapping into an impossibly wide grin, even as black streaks still streamed past its cheeks and its neck in a river of obsidian tears...and at the cracks in its body black stitched seemed to emerge, twitching, writhing out like little seaweed strings come to life, and it was from these strings that its strength to stand seemed to come, surrounding the girl's feet, animating her arms, even as her lifeless neck snapped side-to-side sickeningly with each renewed sway. "FINAL...LY! I can...move...I can...WALK! I can...make...my own...even if it's...scary....I...I just have...to KILL YOU! And then it w-w-won't...be scary any...more...!" Her laughter echoed as her body seemed to weigh less than nothing, swaying from side-to-side...but even so, with the live black stitches swirling about her and a suddenly changed, intimidating aura surrounding her, there was a terrifying menace about her that surpassed anything she had put out before. Deep within her giggles echoed, but they seemed to escape from everywhere that she was torn open, not just her lips, as if she were a broken toy...and perhaps she was, this crying, dancing, screaming, awful creature that she was. Before its body two hands suddenly raised, manipulated by her own strings as a sudden burst of light burst out from the body of the Shade and not one, but two talismans surrounded the conscious members of the team in hopes of laying them out before it. Power and attacks seemed to almost radiate from this form of the creature...and that strange aura would likely set them all on-guard, alert them to a change that could only mean trouble for all of them...
...And the final act of this horrifying nightmare commenced..Quote: Judgment of Light - Heavy Light Damage (Target: All) + 1/3 chance of KO. (Used Twice) [Order: Nix, Amelia, Minori, Rednal, Faust, Teddie, Karu, Nix, Amelia, Minori, Rednal, Faust, Teddie, Karu] [Result 1: Safe, KO, Safe, KO, KO, KO, KO] [Result 2: Safe, Safe, Safe, Safe, KO, Safe, Safe]
Kusuri may be revived now! Crowley [1/3 before revival]
Something has changed inside of Minori Shade! It's aura is different somehow...
