Waking up in the pod room had been a relief, stuck to the kelpie's back he'd found himself almost wishing for death, something he had never done before. It was a horrible jarring sensation to come back from that to a real, human body.
His first worry had been that the horseman b***h had somehow gotten to them, even in the pod room with her ******** illusions, the the losses on the battlefield had been truly real.
The sight of a familiar face as he opened his eyes chased all the shadowy worries away.
As he returned back to the meeting room Rep felt a lot better, but still looked marginally traumatised. Some part of his brain was still convinced he was shaken to bits and should seek medical attention and it was very unsettling.
Horses.

Michael slumped back into his seat in the classroom, eyebrow still twitching in annoyance.

The moon hunter looked at the two of his own division. "Saya, Michael, was that your first time in a golem?" The brown haired man sat himself down, angling his chair to view both door and any potential speakers. "I trust your both well but if you feel a bit sick, that's normal and should fade in a bit. The first time is always a bit strenuous."

Ami blinked as she came back into the room, shaking her head a little. Dying was always a little funky.
Honestly though, all she felt was that she needed to find Syd and punch her.

Harrison had waited by Rep's pod, trying to ignore the sounds he ******** highschoolers. ******** Horsemen. He thought they'd wiped them out, and now they were all pals with their weapon supply cache. The cuff wouldn't effect him waking up, would it? Everything seemed to hit Rep harder these days, and Harrison was still kind of queasy from being stomped to death.
Even though he knew it meant that on the other side, he'd died, Harrison was so relieved to see Rep open his eyes again, he was maybe a little unprofessional in greeting him.
With all the magic around, they went through a lot of changes, but Harrison really liked things being set right again.
He wasn't sure what to expect coming back to the classroom. Were they supposed to get their asses kicked? Golems sucked at melee. And it sucked to throw a punch and feel your golem be the one doing the crunching. He took the same seat he'd had before, waiting for the dismissal so he could get his report filed and move on.

Madeline took her time winding back to the classroom, even though she'd been one of the first few to... well, get her a** handed to her on a silver platter. She was going to get that dragon back one day. Her eyes flickered to the others who'd entered the room and the Moon hunter who seemed to have angled himself towards the door, none of which she knew. Sighing, she gave a two-finger half wave to Marcus without really knowing why before winding her hair around a finger and bee-lining for someone close by.
"Hi," She said, dropping into place next to Ami, and then almost sadly, "I'm out of creative ways to greet people right now."
Her mind was still kind of spinning; it wasn't like people took rides in fake bodies every day after all.

Cass settled into her seat, massaging her forehead and half-groaning. She really hated it when they got blasted out of those things. Never the less, she had to assume that eventually Caelius would be walking in - or someone. Someone would come in and tell them that had been somewhat awful and to go do fiftybillion laps then go die in a pod.
It seemed about stock standard for what they had going on there, after all.

Bix flopped into a chair pissed that he'd finally gotten a male golem and it lasted all of 5 minutes.

Well that had been... not that profitable, Syd thought as her eyes opened and she took in a deep breath. For a moment she stayed in her pod, remembering what had just happened in detail--then she sighed and climbed out, heading for the meeting room with a yawn. Somehow that had made her tired.
And hadn't... ah, right, she was probably going to get some trouble for what she'd done to Ami, wasn't she. Oh well, it had been worth it.

Michael perked up when he heard himself being addressed, glad for the distraction. "Mm, it was." Michael half mumbled in reply to Marcus's mostly rhetorical question. Although he wondered if he could really say that as hadn’t that been what their pre-wake up trail had used to allow, well, everything? He guessed then he could say it was his first time being aware of using a golem and using such a drastically different one. Marcus did prompt him however to think about if he was feeling off, mostly though he was confused by what was the point of the mission than anything to do with his trip with the golem. Maybe a little sluggish but he always felt like that coming off the focus of a mission and energy of a battle so he couldn't really tell if the golem had compounded that. He nodded to himself, "I think I'm pretty good. Thanks for checking though."

"...and I can't believe how pointless that was. And that skeleton thing? I swear to God, she's just the most annoying thing ever. Always crying and moaning about blah blah blah, I just wanted her to shut up, honestly, which was probably a bad idea because then I started getting attacked, and suddenly boom, here we are. Back where we started. I wish I knew what was going on." The voice grew louder and louder until Sasha returned to the room, ranting like a madwoman in the direction of her poor, poor, poor boyfriend. "Honestly." She slumped into a chair and crossed her arms over her chest.

Jerry drifted along beside Sasha as she ranted, just so happy that the girl was talking to him instead of bottling things up. "Mmm," He managed, timidly slipping into a seat beside her with a troubled expression.

After a certain..enlightening-ly quick conversation with Otto while waiting for everyone to return from the pods, she soon merged herself back into the group of hunters.
"How'd it go?" She called to no one in particular. She had not seen the end of the battle, so she had no idea how it went. She was assuming badly, because of everyone coming back at once.

Wash blinked slowly.
There had been people fighting, and something about horses, and then he was back in this room.
He wasn't sure what had happened, and so he remained there in his pod, shocky expression slowly fading. With a grunt of effort, he finally lurched off and over to their rendezvous point. By the time he'd come to himself, many of the others had also come stumbling and grumbling out of the devices to pass him on the way there.
He purposefully put a few seats between him and the apparently belligerent Sasha. He tried to glance at her covertly - he hadn't been paying attention much lately, but had she always been this... angry? Huh. A visual sweep around the rest of the room revealed Syd and Bix and a few others he wasn't sure if he'd met taking seats. Now they were just waiting for the head honcho to ride in and save the show.
He wasn't entirely certain this show was worth saving.
Think they'll let you get a lunch break before they let you do anything ELSE suicidal? I thought you guys got last meals.
The quirky comment caused him to smile despite himself, which he quickly covered by coughing.
