"Oh I see." she said then thought for a bit."Oh yeah I work at a cafe. Nothing fancy. I'm just a regular waitress." she said smiling,"The pay is pretty ok I can pay my rent and stuff." Mari said smiling.

She laughed with him."Of course I do...sometimes. I mean some people get drunk and get a bit out of hand but that's a little rare so I usually do enjoy it." she said smiling.

She giggled."No way. I could never do something so...bold. A guy tried to touch me once but I politely asked him to leave or I would call the police for sexual harassment. That got his attention so he left. I'm not really the bold type. I'm like...a very fragile flower that doesn't really know how to defend itself like your mother. I really wish I could have done what she did though." mari said smiling.

She giggles."It's nice seeing you too, Kyle." they had finally arrived at her apartment and she opened the door for him."Go ahead and make yourself at home. I'll be done in just a few minutes." she said with a smile as she walked in. The apartment itself was rather nicely decorated but nothing too fancy.

He looked around, touching a couple things as he walked by them. The house seemed very familiar to him, he didn't know why, but it was.

She grinned then went to take a shower. After about 20 minutes, Mai came back looking brand new in a way."Alright. Let's talk." she said coming downstairs.

He instantly thought of Bob & John's Pizza Place because that was his and Shaela's favorite resturant. They'd go there all the time. He began to say the name, and just stopped, looked down and a single tear rolled down his cheek.
