It made me wonder what sort of a past he had. Was he as good a man as mother made him out to be? Then why wouldn't she tell me more about him?"
She played with the hem of her skirt, "I've lived so long without him, so it's not like I have hopes of him being alive or anything... I just want to know more. About the truth. The whole truth. Not part of it."

"I see. Are you satisfied with what you've found..? Outside of not quite knowing all the details."
Then again, that was why he was going to help her find out some of the missing pieces. Hopefully finding such information shouldn't be too difficult. It was a matter of Shun finding the right person to ask, as well as possibly performing a favor in return for the information.

"Satisfied enough. It was more than what I was told growing up, after all!" She nodded, offering the boil a small smile before she stood up and gave him a hug - a brief hug, seeing how no matter how many times she tried to hug him, he continued to be awkward about it, "Thank you very much... I appreciate it a lot."
It was funny to think that a little over a year ago, she had followed him thinking that he might be a hunter... The thought made her giggle, reaching up with a hand to pat him on his head.

And indeed Shun was a little awkward about that hug still. He grimaced a bit at it but relaxed once she released him. He also furrowed his brow as she patted him on the head once more.
"Why is that you pat me on the head?" he finally decided to ask.

"Uh..." Lizzy paused, pursing her lips with her hand rested on Shun's head, "How do I say this... When I was younger, my mother used to pat me on the head to comfort me or as a reward for being good. So I've been using it as a way to sort of show my affection?"
She smiled sheepishly, removing her hand from the top of his head, "Have you never patted someone on their head before?"

Shun blinked at Lizzy at her explanation, thinking for a moment.
"I've.. petted Mitsu's head lightly. But that is about it," he said. He didn't really recall ever patting anyone anywhere. Interesting.
