Acubens was just as nervous if not more so than the first time she'd been at a large meeting. She was never good in crowds, socially awkward to the point where it was a fault. God, she wanted to cry. Okay... okay... okay... She just kept repeating that to herself. Okay. You're okay.
"Umm... ahh... hi everyone..." she began timidly. "I have a team in the beginnings. So far it's just me but... there has to be someone out there as lost as I am... The Lost Boys is going to be open at all times. More like a mentoring program than anything..."
The mention of the surrounding made her flinch and stop. Her fight with that red senshi... Gany-something... it still rang too loudly in her ears. Had she told someone about what she'd said? Well, why shouldn't she? Acubens had offended the senshi, and she rightly deserved to be talked about like that. d**k face... Yup... that was her. Brash, unthinking, idiot d**k face.
"But... umm... It looks like... it's no longer really a relevant team since... since we're doing this so... never mind. I'm sorry..." Time to leave. Time to get out. Oh god, no, keep yourself together. She was just on her way out when she slammed into Iris, the yellow senshi who she was so certain she'd benn cursing about.
"Oh god!" Acubens bounced a step back, trying not to fall flat on her bum. "Oh no, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean anything I said about the surrounding! I was angry! I'm sorry!" Freeze. Everyone here is a T-rex, and if you don't move they won't see you... Just stay still... and pray... oh god...

This was a hodgepodge of senshi introducing themselves awkwardly and announcing their independence. Sailor Draconis sat in the back of the crowd, ready to leave as soon as this got boring, but watching everyone's reactions carefully. She listened attentively- she was just that kind of girl- until it seemed there was a gap for her to go up. It was at this time that Sailor Draconis stepped forward, offering what she could. It seemed like that's what everyone else was doing anyways. Might as well just go with the flow.
"Ahem," she began, clearing her throat and calling into attention any senshi that might not have been listening. Honestly, knowing this crowd they probably still weren't listening. She continued on regardless, not lettng it bother her. "I am Super Sailor Draconis, senshi of dragons," she introduced, letting them know just who the hell was talking.
Continuing, she said, "We call my team the Zoo. It's for animal senshi, and ..." What was the right word to use here? "Moderated," she chose carefully, "By the guardian cat Pippin." That cat was probably in the meeting somewhere, but Draconis didn't care enough to search. "Our focus is to create a network among the animal senshi to further promote the development of our alike skills."
She folded her hands carefully in front of her. "Please see me if you have not already been approached by myself or Pippin. Thank you." With that, she stepped off her high horse, standing near the front of the crowd, but no longer interested it what it had to offer. She already had her team, and wasn't interested in a second. Still, she was polite. She'd wait this meeting out.
((ahhhuhhhh same as Nessy- if you interact with Draconis please quote me xD))

Meetings were something Pomona could handle. They weren’t always pleasant, but the typical lack of something-trying-to-actively-kill-her meant it was one Senshi duty that she could handle without looking like a total fail-whale.
The fact that Polaris – Princess Polaris – was leading the meeting was somewhat surreal though. Sure, she’d already known her former roommate was a Princess, but in Pomana’s mind Polaris was still just Polaris, despite the small part of her brain that said Princesses were supposed to be treated, well, differently. It was enough to give a girl a headache.
When Polaris asked if and older Senshi/Knights were willing to help the new ones, Pomona was one of the people that hesitated before raising her hand. She could probably teach Senshi 101, but it would be the blind leading the blind if someone asked her for combat/sparring tips. As for teams, well, she was kinda on a team? It was rather haphazard though, so Pomona didn't want to make any official declarations about it, but when Pomona spied Ambrosia up front she still felt compelled to wriggle her way through the crowd to reach the Chibi-Senshi’s side.
“ Hi there.”

Victoria stared at Acubens as she slammed into Iris. ".... Uh she wasn't talking about you chicka." He pointed towards the knights and that one senshi guy, that were being assholes to Polaris. "There's some idiots over there being jackasses to the princess kind enough to host the meeting."
Victoria knew who Iris was talking about that but that didn't mean his opinion on her grumpyness was any less. "They're trying to derail the meeting I think. Which is pretty uncool if you ask me, specially since they didn't have to come."
He shrugged and looked at Iris, "No big right? Neither of you got hurt?" He was checking both to make sure neither one had gotten hurt.

Acubens' blush deepened as her mind caught up with Victoria's words. IT wasn't the first time her paranoia got the best of her, and it wasn't the first time she'd let someone else know about it. But the fact that this had been her first impresion with these senshi and the fact that she had a sort of track record of not making good first impressions with other senshi almost set her hair on fire with the force of her blush.
"Sorry," she squeaked, back up, clawed heels clicking as she stepped. She still wasn't used to them, and it was easy to see old and new wounds on her ankles where the raptor claws had caught her.
"Sorry." She just kept repeating it, head falling deeper and deeper. Jesus... why couldn't she be as brash in crowds as she was alone? She just had to turn into some timid, squeaking child...

Some girl bumped into her after she had made her little declaration. And the girl seemed to immediately go into apology mode. Victoria stated the obvious part, and though he spoke the truth, he soon found himself with a quick jab to the arm. "That's fer yer comment earlier, Vic..."
The manx didn't see any issue with adding her own dig as well. "It was also untrue... since Iris is always grumpy!"
"...screw you, Cat..." Shaking her head, the girl then addressed the senshi who had bumped into her (Acubens). "Dude... stop apologizin'... yer jus' gonna give everyone a 'sorry headache'..." One arm reached behind her head and ruffled up her own blonde hair briefly before she extended a hand to the other girl. "Anyways... what Vic said... if ya said somethin'... whatever... but I wasn't talkin' 'bout ya. I'm Sailor Iris."
Clearly now was the perfect time for introductions.
Though she was concentrating, the roundish feline nearby had to ask a question of Acubens as well. "Your team sounds like something splendid... why would you think it is no longer relevant?"

Vic seemed a little confused as to why the other senshi kept apologizing. However, when Iris punched him, "Hey, it was a ligit concern." He added looking hurt, pausing when ********* added in she was always grumpy. "Aha... true. She really is."
He watched as Sailor Iris introduced herself, "I'm Sailor Victoria, and that's our Cat." He added, unsure if ********* wanted to introduce herself or not. But he nodded in agreement to what ********* asked, "Yeah whys it no relevant, there' still people offering team names up."

Acubens stopped right as she was asked to, biting her bottom lip. "Ah... Sor... I mean... I guess I'm more than a little paranoid... When they're not talking to you, right?" She grinned rather goofily, feeling a touch better now that she wasn't worried about being antagonized. "I'm Acubens. Super Senshi of Velociraptors..." In Acubens' mind, now was as good a time as ever to be making introductions. After all, she was here and stuff.
"Well..." Her attention was diverted down to the small cat. Somewhere in her mind, she marveled at how talking animals no longer even fazed her. "I mean, the whole point was finding other confused senshi and mentoring them into something of a functional fighter, you know? I planned on making it like a night class, having guest speakers, lessons, and stuff... But now that we're suddenly doing this..." Acubens swept her arm out to the crowd "All the new senshi are suddenly feeling comfortable, and approaching older senshi... it just seems like Princess Polaris is going to such lengths to make new senshi comfortable... which is awesome, by the way... but she sort of... stole my thunder without even knowing it, you know?"

Sessrumnir had to hold himself back from rolling his eyes. These people were only hearing what they wanted to hear, getting defensive over what they thought would get them the most attention or warrant them obtaining the most brown for their noses.
"I wasn't asking 'why' to insult her," he said, almost unable to hold back an amused grin at how disorganized it seemed to be, glancing towards Camelot who seemed to be getting his feathers ruffled. "If they had been at the Surrounding, which I can't recall seeing everyone who is here having even been there..." he started, fully aware that some people could be new, but he also knew that there were older senshi and knights who just... didn't give it their all, or even show up. "They would have noticed the two 'royal' senshi doing... who knew what. That Castor guy with the black wings seemed to be in an epic death match with some guy with a mask over his mouth, and then Princess Butterfly seemed rather content with her senshi to protect her. Meanwhile, there were others who happened to be fighting off the youma and trying to protect civilians. I also recall not wanting to break the mirrors because they were more important than civilian lives. But whatever. The past is done and there's nothing that can change that," he said, lifting his hands as if he was done with that and ready to move on.
"I just want those who actually did the work to receive the credit. Just because someone isn't a Princess doesn't mean they don't have good ideas. And just because someone is a Princess doesn't mean their words are all powerful. They're still human, they make mistakes, and they're young," he added with a nod in Polaris's direction.
This is where he actually grinned, glancing towards some of the chibi senshi who had joined them that night. "Then again... just because someone is young doesn't mean they're worthless. I just want to know why being a 'Princess' makes them the omnipotent beings in a room."
He grinned in Mont Blonc's direction, having remember the kid from the meeting. "Nothing much happened. Creepy room. Rediscovered some magic. That was all," he summarized and lifted a hand as if to get to the next order of business.

If she wasn't doing a certain job right now, she would have been more inclined to move from her spot, perhaps rub up against ankles, and have full blown entertaining conversations.
Yet, she had a duty, so there ********* stood. She was able to spare 2 ears though, and listened to Acubens' plight. "...as a cat... I can tell you that... I am awakening senshi very frequently... and where as a meeting like this is nice... it isn't a frequent thing. Just because tonight we are approaching senshi that are newer, doesn't mean that even newer senshi won't show up and be clueless."
The cat managed to tuck a smile upon her maw. "I think you should try to appeal to that audience, if anything, Acubens! Heck, even with how tonight is... there are probably still people interested!"
The blonde shrugged slightly. "Eh... push come't'shove... word of mouth might not hurt ya in all honesty... I mean, lookit all the people 'ere right now... if they meet any other senshi that seem clueless, they could ship'em off in yer direction."
"...goodness... only a half introduction, is that all I am worth? I sob!" the feline said in a fairly chipper tone.
"Yes, I am their cat... I go by *********>

"Pretty much," replied Europa out of the corner of her mouth, giving the whole fiasco a kind of too-cool-for-school look. There were only a few senshi in the room that she estimated to have more on-the-ground experience than she did, and two of them had the princess rank that Sessrumnir was questioning (and rightfully so, because she had yet to see any royals who actually did something). "Sessrumnir's right to be wary the princesses," she added, to Valhalla. Although she had reason to trust Polaris, as they went way back, she'd gone just as far back with Castor and he'd left them all high and dry. The Prince of Hail's abandonment still stung. "A pair of wings might give someone tremendous power, but it doesn't guarantee leadership skills." A royal title might sound impressive, but it wasn't going to make anyone respect you if you couldn't act the part. And lording your crystal over people was just bad form. She liked Polaris just fine, and was perfectly confident in her friend's ability to lead, but Sessrumnir still raised valid points. They'd be fools to follow any idiot who proclaimed themselves a princess - that was how cults got started. That was how the Dark Mirror got started. "If Polaris can rally the troops and keep this on topic, more power to her," she said finally. "But we still have to be wary of false prophets." And she bit her lip and dug her fingernails into her arms to hold back the desire to go grab Chibimoon and put her up on a pedestal, because Europa had her moon princess and she was not drawing attention to herself and had never claimed any desire to lead, and Europa was trying her best to respect other people's wishes more.

"I didn't want to get punched again" Vic said darkly looking at Iris before back to *********, the way this is going I'm sure there's bound to still be confused people or ones that feel lost and alone outside." He paused, "It's a big world, and if you don't have friends sometimes things just seem to overwhelm you or sneak up on."
He paused, "Besides Like Iris said a bit earlier it's better to patrol in groups and if you only have yourself, that's not really a group." He paused, "Wasn't there a chibi earlier that said her team was taking names of adults willing to help?" He looked at Iris. "Maybe she can get your name and team info and send some senshi to you?"
Maybe he had some good ideas? .... just maybe he wouldn't get punched for that suggestion.

The small strokes to Acubens' self esteem made her grin a little brighter, stand a little taller. She nodded to both senshi and the cat. "Well, thank you, but I've already made my intriduction... lack luster and all, you know? Kind of tacky going back and asking for a do over..." She shrugged, palms out in surrender. "Maybe that was enough, and someone will take me seriously. If not, then I just have to redouble my efforts to recruit."
Vic's words struck her closer than she expected them too. God, that was the motto to her life as a sailor scout before she finally found her calling. "I know that all too well," she assured the magenta senshi, bowing her head. "Except... instead of getting overwhelmed and just quitting... I just got mad at everyone..." Another shrug. "Made a lot of enemies on my own side. I just want to help others not make the same mistake."
She fell silent for a moment, thinking as she bit her lip. That into was pretty pathetic. "You know what, ******** it. I'm going again." Acubens forgot herself, cursing despite her company. She turned back the way she came and cleared her throat, heartened by the good will of the strangers.
"I'm sorry, but I'm going to need your attention again, guys. I sort of got spooked before, but here's the deal with my team. It's just me right now, the The Lost Boys is always looking for new members. New senshi of seasoned veteran, if you;re looking for your own path in this war, then feel free to check us out. So far I have us set out like a night class, with meetings every other week, where we'll have discussions about a certain topic, sometimes even guest related speakers! If anyone interested -- confused fighters, guest speakers, and even team wanting to talk one night about their own team, then hit me up!" She grinned brightly, beaded cornrows clicking as she bounced back to her conversation.

"Juno" The Amazonian offered back in greeting to the little senshi. The name seemed very familiar to her, but of course she was hearing it for perhaps the third time now, not that Juno would recall their brief feline encounter. It was an interesting feeling to feel like you knew someone more then you remembered. But then.. that was something she'd grown semi accustomed to, what with bizzare memories of that Dark Circus and all.
Her eyes lifted wearily as she heard some raised voices across the room. It seemed harmless enough, and nowhere near Chibimoon, so whatever.
There were more senshi and knights here then Bimini had ever seen before in one place, and for him that made this just like a candy store! The often jovial and social Cosmos squire was introducing himself and chattering up a storm to anyone and everyone semi near him. He was thankfully polite enough to lower his voice just a little more when the lady with wings began to talk, and in the end shut up when it seemed those around him were more interested in the meeting then him.
The sparkley knight slipped up to his tiptoes (not that he really needed to, already a full grown man) as each person spoke, trying to make out each face that spoke. He saw a small handful of familiar faces too littered about. Camelot and Niflhel. Even fire breathing Draconis!
When mention of rings came up, he took a moment to look down at his own. Bimini had had to climb the ridiculously huge 'fountain of youth' to find his ring. But being able to 'text' whoever he wanted whenever he wanted without having to worry about a phone bill? TOTALLY worth it.

Oh dear oh dear! There were so very many people scattered all around the room and some of them were being so loud and boisterous. The tiny and meek page of the Chronos was almost glued to the wall trying to avoid all of the craziness.
Concordia really didn't want to be here. But it was part of her job afte rall.. and Menthe was very big on job responsibility. She couldn't not come. But that didn't mean she had to really participate.
Shrunk almost under her hood and peeking out of her glasses Concordia tried to find other members of the Chronos knights or Zodiacs from amid the crowd. She silently nodded to all the warnings about pairing up in patrols, there was no way she'd ever got out herself anyway, she was far too timid for this knight stuff alone.
Maybe she could get signed up for that database thing instead? She was really good at organizing and office work. But... she really didn't want to impose on anyone... or bother them by asking. Maybe.. Maybe one of her teammates could ask for her. Or better yet, just volunteer her for it themselves.
For her entire time in the building the soft call of the large chandeliers had been bugging Polaris. She was slowly getting used to her weird... metal senses.. in this form and the fact that everything metal in the area would light up in her mind. Or rather how to try and ignore it when she didn't need it. But god if she didn't, just for a teeny tiny moment, want to rain metal bits of chandelier on a few heads right now. All such urges were ignored though, and pushed away with a silent smile to herself.
Way to act like an adult Aurora. More flies with honey.
No one seemed to be addressing her directly or asking questions of her, so she stayed silent for now, happily listening to the conversations she could hear.
When Acuben's initially spoke and then seemed to try and flee, there was a moment of concern on the Princess' face. She wanted to comfort the sensitive senshi, but knew walking off stage wasn't something she could do right now. Thankfully someone or something else somewhere had done the job for her. Whether she saw it or not Polaris flashed Acubens a very proud smile as the senshi returned once more to talk about her team.
