She let the God have his pensive moment, still reeling at the idea of a temple. More than a shrine! If she could only convince Father, it would be wonderful... "Of course, my Lord," she said, eyes bright with excitement. "Of course!" She didn't have to say that she'd kill herself if he told her to; that seemed to be obvious to everyone involved, including herself. "When would you like an answer, my Lord," she asked, sketching a deep bow.

"Whenever you can will work out for me." Really, he was in no great hurry. He knew Cosine was starting to oversee the building of her own temple, which left him to watch over the children while she was gone. He could have left that to the aoidei, and sometimes he did... But for the main part, he did not want to. Every instant spent with Isidore, Caelia and Kyrie was a precious one.
"...Through I certainly hope that your father does not mind children." Tiny little god children could get in even worse mayhem than mortal children, he was certain. He said nothing else on the subject, waiting to see if Ravenna could figure it out.

"Of course Father doesn't mind children," said Ravenna. He had her, after all, alone of any others; if the Good King had ever sired another child he'd never said, and such a person certainly didn't appear at Court, ever. It was only after she said it that it occurred to her what an odd thing to say it was. Father surely wouldn't... Her brow furrowed, she pursed her lips, and then she said, "Do you have children, my Lord?"

"Numbers' three, yes." Of course Ravenna would figure it out quickly. "You are bound to see them sooner or later." They would get to see the temple, of course. It would be another home for them until they grew enough of influence to build their own.
"So, when should I return ?" He asked.

Her response was immediate: "Anytime, my Lord! But... if you want your answer, perhaps in a week or two? My father is busy, and he doesn't always have time for me." She would welcome Gwyn ap Nudd and his children and the goddess who mothered them any day, but she couldn't say the same for her father. He was not always... circumspect... in his decisions. "I will let you know, if you let me know how?"

"You only have to tell me." He nodded. "I will hear your voice, if you speak for me. Like I have, earlier. It was your voice that lead me here." And he was glad that it had. It might have taken him much longer to find this place otherwise.
"I should probably let you get some rest, through." He looked at the horizon - the sun was peeking from the line of horizon, framed beautifully by the trees.

It took only a mention of the time for the woman who was Avalon to be reminded of her begrudgingly mortal body, and she closed her eyes at the wave of exhaustion that had passed over her. Under ordinary circumstances, she would have gone to dinner and then to bed after her visit to Gwyn ap Nudd's altar. Now, however, the sun was rising, and she too would have to rise in only a few hours. It would not be a pleasant day, but it was a small price to pay… "Thank you, my Lord," said Ravenna, bowing before the god. "I shall endeavor to bring you news as soon as I can." And with that, she dismissed herself, trotting quickly down the path. If she was going to get any sleep at all, it would only be if she went soon.
