Jo(shu) Michieru Jo(shu) walked with Kaminari over to the table as she sat..talking about what had been going on. He hadn't seen her in a while...But... She was slowly cracking...And he could hear her trailing off. A thought he really didn't want to pressure her into remembering.... So, as much of a risk with the things that had been happening lately as it would be....Shu moved over, and gripped her lightly, pulling him into her chest. "It's okay, Kaminari." he called, in a soft tone. [b}"You're safe here...Everything'll be okay.." She was troubled..worried..bothered. And, though he couldn't do much, he could try, at least. "Just...try to relax, if you can." he called, as the building started to smell of breakfast. "I'm right here for you, Kaminari."

Kaminari buried her face into Shu's chest as she cried, her fingers gripping his shirt as though he was the last thing in existence. His arms around her, and his scent filling her nose, it was comforting. She relaxed into the embrace, a part of her thanking whatever gods were listening that she had at least one person in the world. "The Pazuzu guy," she managed, between sobs and continuing to misremember and mangle the name. "That Pazuzu guy," she repeated, shaking her head. It was all his fault. "I'm gonna f-find him and make him p-pay," she finished, pulling back just enough to wipe at her reddened eyes. The smell of breakfast joined that of Shu, and her stomach sounded loudly. Still sniffling, Kaminari asked quietly, "So, what's for breakfast?"

Jo(shu) Michieru Jo(shu) held Kaminari for a few minutes, listening to her murmur, and letting her sob into him. A few pats on her back to assure her it would be okay, and a bit later..She pulled back. "Don't worry, he'll get his." Jo(shu) called to her, gently rubbing her shoulder. "Don't go off and do something foolish. Focus on recuperating..On getting better." He gently brushed some of her hair out of her eyes, as he smiled lightly. "The shower's open, if you need it." he called, lightly. "Can get WYNN to get some of her outfits for you. I'm sure you'll fit." Sometimes, a change of clothes could make all the difference. Though, as the smell of food was flowing into the room, he turned. "Ah, much of the usual." he called, lightly. 'I'll make sure she makes enough for all of us." he added, lightly. "So..just make yourself at home."

Kaminari nodded, still wiping at her face. She hadn't cried like that in years, but she paid the fact no mind. A proper meal and a shower held much more prominence in her thoughts, and she sniffed again. "Alright," she agreed, deciding to put any plans for revenge on the back burner. She didn't know what the guy even looked like, for starters. How far could she really get, with practically no information? Shu was right, she needed to focus on herself. And step one was clean clothes, her current ones looked like they had been through the ringer. "A shower sounds great," she said, pulling free of Shu and making her way to the bathroom.

W.Y.N.N. and And Jo(shu) Michieru Jo(shu) relaxed his grip as Kaminari pulled forth, hearing the shower starting up. As he moved to the kitchen, WYNN was setting breakfast onto some plates, and holding them up. "I'll finish up in here." he called, lightly. "Do me a favor, and take Kaminari some clothes and a towel. I might need to stay with her for a bit. So, can you.." "I will be fine going to the hospital by myself." she answered lightly, standing on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek, and then turn around. She smiled softly, and started through the apartment, moving to grasp some of her clothes. Kaminari appeared to be roughly the same size....So, her things would go well. She moved about to the bedroom, gathering up some of her things...a Shirt of Shu's, a skirt of hers, and various underthings. It was routine for her to gather these things...and, as she pushed towards the bathroom, she set the things down on the counter. "Onii-Shu will have breakfast prepared when you are done." she called softly, before starting out of the bathroom...forgetting to close the door, as she moved. "I will see you at the Hospital!" she called to Jo(shu), before starting out of the door, and heading out. "See you there!" he called, as he flipped over some pancakes. He'd prepare breakfast, and see to Kaminari. Then, meet WYNN at the hospital when he could.

Kanade Tachibana, And Jo(shu) Michieru Jo(Shu) left the plate of breakfast on the table for Kaminari to see, as he grabbed his keys, starting out of his apartment. 'I trust she can work her way around things.' he thought, before going out the door, and starting along down the path. As he passed by Kanade's, he moved over to knock on the door, with a small smirk. "I'm up, I'm up." the girl's voice called, as the door was quickly opened, coming face-to-face with him. "Strange to see you up so early." she teased lightly, opening the door wider. "Wanna come in?" "Eh, things happened." he called, walking into the apartment as he glanced around. "I'm gonna guess Ven is asleep?" "Yeah. He's been looking after that one girl. The one with foofy orange hair?" Shu glanced to the bedroom, glancing to Kanade a bit. She gave him a small nod, and he started through the well-kept building, glancing in. "Ven? Ya there?"

Venustus Michieru "Ah...Morning Father." Venustus called at the response of the brown haired figure, glancing back at the girl in the bed. They'd rescued the girl from the corrupted Alice a few days ago....One who'd insisted to go along with them...Despite knowing, and showing very little about herself. "Surri.." he called quietly, to himself. He couldn't help but wonder...What if he had been there sooner? What if him and Fate hadn't had that foolish little game? What if he'd... "I'm sorry.." he called to the girl's figure....As a hand was placed on his shoulder. "You should take a break. I heard you've been keeping an eye on her all night." 'You're right..." Venustus replied, closing his eyes for a bit, and then starting into the main room. He had been worried..and beating himself up over what could have happened.... But, he wasn't that strong...Not yet. He couldn't..really believe he could have handled all of it, right? 'I am...getting rather hungry though.'
Of course, as the boy left..the girl in the bed started to stir lightly, groaning. Was she...?

Kaminari Miyaki After a lengthy shower, Kaminari located the clothes Wynn had left for her and quickly toweled herself off and got dressed. Letting the towel hang around her shoulders, to catch any dripping water as her hair dried, she made her way back to the dining area of the little apartment. Taking a seat in front of the plate of breakfast, she dug in with vigor, making a mental note to ask Wynn for cooking tips. Once the plate had been cleaned of its contents, she got up to stick it in the sink before returning to her seat. Taking the towel, she began taking an active role in drying her hair.

Surripio Rembrii And Jo(shu) MichieruSurri's head was still pounding...as her vision was rather blurry. The sun shone through a window...as the ground beneath her felt...Soft? Something was covering her body....and it was...warm? 'Where am..I?' she thought to herself, as someone patted next to her."Hello....I take it you're like Venustus, and the like?"Surri turned her head to the figure...a person with brown hair, and tired eyes. She tried to back up, but quickly met something backing her, reaching around for her things."Ah...! Easy...easy. You've been out for a few days...but you're in good company." the figure called, holding his hands up lightly. "You're safe....There's nothing to get you....Just calm down...take a breath, and all that..Yeah?"Surri paused...her vision coming into view a bit more..as she took a few careful breaths...before getting a good look. She was...in a house? In someone's bed....And there was some boy sitting there...Someone, she didn't recognize... 'He knows about Ven, and the others though..' she thought, glancing around the room nervously, as she took a few careful breaths, her hands moving around to see if she had any injuries. There was a corrupted demon...Aeon had been sent somewhere...And...."I'm Jo(shu). Jo(shu) Michieru. Though, you'll probably know me better as Geirin Kuzunoha...Or the father of..""Surri...""Hm? Sorry...?""N..No." she called, her eyes glancing downward as she spoke. "It's..It's my name. I'm...I'm Su...Surripio. Surrip..io.." She glanced up at the figure, before averting her gaze once more. "Surripio Rem......Michieru." The girl quickly glanced to the wall as the figure called, biting her tongue lightly. It was an obvious fib....That he surely.."Ah..Another of mine..I'd ask who your mother is...But I dunno if..""I..never knew my mother." she called quietly, bringing her knees up, and hugging them tightly. "I'm sorry...I just...I mean.." She had to correct herself.. He had to know....She was lying about her father....But...He'd probably be upset...He'd probably... "Sorry.." he called, before she suddenly felt him wrapping his arms around her, in a bit of an awkward hug. "I was probably a pretty shitty dad, if you don't even know your mother. And, if I'd moved a bit faster, you wouldn't have gotten hurt. Sorry, Surripio."Surri froze at this, feeling the guy embrace her. She wanted to tell him...to confess to her own lie at this point...But, as he apologized...she closed her eyes..and leaned back. "It's...okay." she replied, quietly as she leaned back, glancing. "It'll..be okay.""Yeah...." Jo(shu) called...before letting her go, and giving her a small smile. "Though..you guys might need to get acquainted to the past a little bit.""Ah? ...Oh..R..Right.." she called, looking out. There wasn't a sense of dread...of death...of complete horror. It was just...strangely relaxing..To be in the past."I think i have juuuuust the thing to do that too."

Fate LembryantAs the group would talk, and chat among themselves, someone's feet could be heard Rushing down the steps, and into Kanade's Apartment. "Hey...Um..Yo..Tachibana....And..Dad. And..Ven." Fate's voice called, waving as she glanced around the room anxiously. "I...Um...TOTALLY hypothetical question...But...Where's the fire extinguisher?" There had to be one somewhere, yeah? "Not that I accidentally caught something on fire trying to make a new dish for breakfast, but..." she started..nervously. "But I totally kind of sort of caused a fire trying to make something for breakfast. It's just a small one....Relatively speaking." Hopefully, they'd be able to handle it. I mean, it wasn't a forest fire.... Yet.

Geirin (Shu)zunoha "Ven, eyes forward! Fate, Weapon out! Trip!, FOCUS!" They had come quite a ways in the nearly three months they had. Even as the golden-clothed, fused warrior dashed about to deliver crushing blow after blow....The trio had finally managed to make him break a sweat... A far cry from three months ago..' he thought proudly to himself as Ven parried his first strike, leaving himself open to a strike at his side. Shu didn't slam into it full force, but did use his strength to shove the silver haired boy a fair distance away.....Out of the range of Fate's own swung, conjured bat. "Cheese-It!" The apprentice turned Kuzunoha had decided to take it onto himself personally to oversee the group's training. Any of the travelers from the future that wandered his way....He got them a home, and would provide for them.... In exchange for them learning to acquire some sort of rudimentary skill, in the events of the past 85 days. Teaching them how to fight better was in the curriculum, but he wanted to make sure they knew how to handle times of peace too. Ven, Trip, and Fate got jobs over the few months....With a little help from the Yatagarasu base, he could even secure them places in the apartments he lived in..Which, had been thinned out over the past few months. Whether it was people leaving for greener pastures, people being scared of the looming demon threat....Or, merely just being unable to pay rent, the senior capitalized on the issue...Using up nearly his entire life's savings to rent out the rooms. It was tiring work, but... "Too slow.." he muttered to himself, as the bolt of lightning came crashing his way. He held up his weapon to block...a solid hit connecting....And the trio, despite being badly beaten, let out a loud cheer. "Whew...we...we did it." "WOO! And in less than an hour this time! The large dragon let out a happy roar of joy, before summarily looking like he was about to pounce the two kids....Shifting back into his human form before the point of impact. "Wooooo! Fraaaaaaaaaaaaands!" Trip's indomitable cheer cried out, tackling the two in an affectionate glomp. "We managed to do it! We landed that single blow!" It was simply, really. He challenged them to land a single blow on him. One blow, and their training day would be up for the day. For the past few months, that had been their goals....And, time and time again, he pushed the group to their limits....Before some passing, glancing strike would connect. From Ven managing to get him in a close-quarter's headbutt...To Fate scrawling up a flail of some sort....Patris's own surprisingly forward technique...Masking some subtle lethality...To Dolus's lucky strike from the heavens.... And Trip's own dragonic nature...already an imposing advantage on it's own...Lending itself to a few nasty blows....That the boy barely managed to escape with his life. The boy had a lot of power...but, had always seemed a bit..scared to use it. A friendly kid... 'Hard to believe that someone like him would be around.. Shu thought to himself as they all cheered..And he thought to the other arrivals. The brown haired girl, in a ridiculous outfit. Luna Myonmu..... She had a sort of sickeningly sweet attitude about her, but she always seemed to brighten the day up. She was the one who gave him the idea to get everyone jobs, always offering to help out around the place...And, things fell into place. She wasn't the firmest, coldest fighter...But, with a personality and an attitude as positive and forward as hers, he had a feeling she would struggle against anyone who refused to fight fair.. And then there was Aiken. Unlike most of the others, Shu had no problem telling who her father was...Given the same sort of bull-headed sillyness, her laughable attempts at fighting....And her frequent perusal of various magazines that he was certain her father would approve of. Unlike the others, Aiken had almost zero talent...But, she made up for it in sheer tenacity. She personally had her own idea of how the training would go.....Being one who kept pushing until she herself could land a blow on him....No matter how long it took..... One session even lasted for three hours, before she got him with a weary tap on the nose. Or as she called it, a 'Boop'.
And as for Amora....The less he had to say about her, the better. The girl was nice enough, and acted far more mature than she had any right to... But, unlike her companions, it seemed Amora didn't have an 'Off' switch. She was the reason that Shu made it so only one person had to land the blow, rather than the others. Her own strikes, already dangerously precise, and effective...Were also rarely short of lethal, or disabling. Had the boy been any less aware, or any less talented, she likely would have caused some sort of lasting, physical trauma. And that was without her own, menacing power..... It kind of unnerved the boy to look at. The half-bound, crimson figure...With poisonous wings....And the sounds.... "Brrr.." he muttered under his breath, as he glanced back at the building with the last of his charges....The girl with orange hair, and a weary sort of look. Surri had been anything but cheery when they started..... taking more than a few sessions to get her to actively participate in their sessions... Yet, through a few firm reprimands... a bit of instruction.....The encouraging of Luna and her other companions...and, he liked to think through a bit of his guidance.... She seemed to slowly open up to him...Trying her damnedest to participate in the battles, even if her strikes were slow...feeble, and half-hearted at best. A far cry in the levels from the others....Even if she tried as hard as she could, it seemed she couldn't push herself to be as effective as she wanted....
....
It had been a welcome change when he'd been forced to reduce the group into various teams for the training, rather than the large group of Nine. It was easier to keep track of them in trios....and, though he'd never admit it, much easier to keep up with their movements and such when he only had to look after three bodies. More than a few training days had ended a fair bit earlier than he liked because he simply forgot about Fate's range, or Ven's long-distance spells.... "Hey, Father. We're going to go out to get some skewers. Do you want to come with us?" Ven's voice called out, snapping Shu out of his trance for a bit at the thought. "Ah, no, Go ahead. I've got some business." he called, slowly starting back towards one of the buildings....Finally getting around to something he'd been putting off for nearly three months now.
He dispelled the fusion form of him and one of his demonic allies, Talisa....Returning to the same, Lightly ragged...But far more friendly-looking figure than he had when he'd first arrived at the town.
Then, he knocked on the door to apartment Six, hearing the locks turn...And the door creak open.....A pair of blue eyes peering back at him.
"Hey Surri. Can we talk?"
